A study on incrementally expandable online game server architecture (서비스 단계별 확장 가능한 온라인 게임 서버 구조에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose the online game server architecture which can expand as the number of users increases. In most online game servers, there is a server group composed of a login server, a cache server, a database server, a game server, and an NPC server, and when the number of users increases, an additional server group with the same structure is installed. The server architecture proposed in this study does not install a server group composed of a login server, a cache server, a database server, a game server, an NPC server, etc., but installs a game server only. When there is a need for the cache server and database server, the required servers will be additionally installed, thus reducing costs.

  • Linux server offers various kinds of service including web, FTP, and SSH. The users of these kinds of service are trying to hack by making use of it. That’s why some countermeasures are required for the security of the server. In this thesis, each type of service log of multiple Linux server was analyzed, and a solution was developed to monitor and control the multiple Linux server system not based on Linux but based on Windows.

  • 본 논문에서는 Web Lecture script를 정의하고 이를 효과적으로 운영하기 위한 Java Web Server를 설계 구현하였다. Web Lecture Script란 강의록, 문제출제, 문제 평가, 숙제 제출, 자료실, 토론방 등의 가상 대학 환경을 편리하게 구축하기 위해서 데이터베이스 및 파일의 접근을 Web 환경의 script막을 사통하여 구현할 수 있도록 정의한 것이다. Lecture시스템은 사용자에게 정형화된 포맷이 많이 쓰이기 때문에 script로 정형화된 형태의 인터페이스가 적합하며, 실제적인 구현이 Jaya로 이루어지기 때문에 확장의 범위가 크다. Web Server는 이러한 Lecture Script를 사용자에게 제공하기 위한 Script Engine을 포함하고 있어야 하는데, 이러한 Script Engine이 Web Server라 어떻게 상호작용 하는가에 따라 성능이 좌우된다. 상호 작용하는 방법에는 Script Engine이 Web Server 자체에 포함될 경우, 독립적인 프로세서를 띄워서 처리하는 방법 스크립트만을 처리하는 별도의 서버를 두어 처리를 전환하는 방법이 있다. 따라서 Lecture Script 처리 Engine은 여러 방법으로 구현하고 성능을 비교하여 보다 효과적인 서버를 제안하고자 한다.

  • 인터넷의 서비스개선으로 사용자의 수는 기하급수적으로 늘어나고 있으며, 이러한 경향에 발맞추어 홈페이지의 수도 날로 늘어가고 있는 추세이다. 홈페이지를 만드는데 있어서 필수적인 것이 바로 Web Server라고 할 수 있으며, 현재 Web Server에 대한 연구가 계속되고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 현재 사용되고 있는 Web Server보다 좀더 개선된 Server 시스템을 제안하였으며, 이 Server 시스템은 OS에 독립적일 뿐만 아니라 사용자에 대한 서비스 시간과 사용 자원을 줄일 수 있다.

  • The present so many systems are used by evolution of Program to expel DNC(Direct Numerical Control) Network Infra for many CNC Controller. However, these systems is an inefficiency side in case of mutual connection at a long distance between Server Computer and Machining center Also, the machining center have so many controversial points in data transmission-receiver from the NC data server. So, this thesis well constructed the remote control system from CNC(Computer Numerical Control) Controller to CAD/CAM Server Computer. This system have some kinds of merits. Firstly. the machining center's user can easily use the saved NC data transmission from the CAD/CAM Server Secondly, the remote control is possible without the mutual conversation between the CAD/CAM Server and the machining center.

  • The present study purposes to develop HMI software that runs on Windows CE .NET platform without being bound to specific HMI equipment and accesses data in PLC equipment through interoperation with an OPC-DA server. As the OPC-DA server reads data in PLC equipment, HMI system does not need to be configured differently for different equipments. In addition, when the interface environment of specific equipment changes, it does not require the application of new equipment or the change of communication protocol. As HMI system runs on Windows CE .NET platform, it can be configured using common embedded devices based on Windows CE .NET platform. HMI software reads data in PLC equipment through RS-232C communication interface. In addition, because it connects to an OPC-DA server through Ethernet communication interface, it can access data in PLC equipment as long as Ethernet is usable.

Especially, the client-server system based on internet is widely used due to the enormous amounts of data and the increasing awareness of the data security. Under these circumstances, the market of the server computer with the $57 billion global market is increasing steadily regardless of economic conditions. However, the domestic server market entirely depends on overseas companies with high technical skills and production power. Therefore, we investigates technology and development trends of the server power system to assist domestic companies in entering the global server power system market in this special paper.

Design of a Protected Server Network with Decoys for Network-based Moving Target Defense

  • In recent years, a new approach to cyber security, called the moving target defense, has emerged as a potential solution to the challenge of static systems. In this paper, we design a protected server network with a large number of decoys to anonymize the protected servers that dynamically mutate their IP address and port numbers according to Hidden Tunnel Networking, which is a network-based moving target defense scheme. In the network, a protected server is one-to-one mapped to a decoy-bed that generates a number of decoys, and the decoys share the same IP address pool with the protected server. First, the protected server network supports mutating the IP address and port numbers of the protected server very frequently regardless of the number of decoys. Second, it provides independence of the decoy-bed configuration. Third, it allows the protected servers to freely change their IP address pool. Lastly, it can reduce the possibility that an attacker will reuse the discovered attributes of a protected server in previous scanning. We believe that applying Hidden Tunnel Networking to protected servers in the proposed network can significantly reduce the probability of the protected servers being identified and compromised by attackers through deploying a large number of decoys.

  • In this paper, we propose a new type of client server environment to improve the architecture vulnerable to hacking in an existing client server environment. On the server side, move the existing Web server to the client side and This is a way for clients to communicate only the data they need and suggests a structure that completely blocks the web attack itself to the server. This can completely prevent a server from being hacked, spreading malicious code and hacking data on a server. It also presents a new paradigm that will not affect servers even if malware is infected with client PCs. This paper validates the proposed environment through BBS (Big Bad Stick) hardware in the form of USB on the client side. This study proof that secure services are provided through encryption communication with server-side security equipment, indicating that this study is a system with new security.
