  • In order to protect personal information and important information (confidential information, sales information, user information, etc.) in the internal network, companies and organizations apply encryption to the Server-To-Server or Server-To-Client communication section, And are experiencing difficulties due to the increasing number of known attacks and intelligent security attacks. In order to apply the existing S / W encryption technology, it is necessary to modify the application. In the financial sector, "Comprehensive Measures to Prevent the Recurrence of Personal Information Leakage in the Domestic Financial Sector" has been issued, and standard guidelines for financial computing security have been laid out, and it is required to expand the whole area of encryption to the internal network. In addition, even in environments such as U-Health and Smart Grid, which are based on the Internet of Things (IoT) environment, which is increasingly used, security requirements for each collection gateway and secure transmission of the transmitted and received data The requirements of the secure channel for the use of the standard are specified in the standard. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a secure encryption algorithm through mutual authentication and grouping for each node through H / W based Network Control Server (NCS) applicable to internal system and IoT environment provided by enterprises and organizations. We propose a protocol design that can set the channel.

  • Client-Sever-Comptuing is now recognized as the most powerful and flexible computing mode of the future. Many companies have already commited significant amount of their corporate IS resources to building the cli-ent-server computing environment.Despite this active interst and commitment, however, results from such cli-ent-sever projects are far from being convincing Among the many factors,we suspect,we supect that the less than less than satisfac-tory client-server experiences are perhaps due to the company's lack of underxtanding its essertial information processing characteristics. We analyze five client-server archiedctures in temrs of seven IS-related crieria. We then develop a contin-gency model to match company's information processing chracteristics to the ideal client-server architecture for the firm.Based on the client-server architecture analysis from the previous step. we recommend specific im-plementation strategies for each-server architecture selected. Finally,on an exploratory level,we look into the three client-server implmentation cases to cases to check the validity of our contingency model.

  • An e-business client application in ubiquitous mobile computing environment may become disconnected from the enterprise server due to broken communication connections caused by the limitation of mobile computing environments(limited battery life of the mobile device, low bandwidth communication, incomplete wireless communication infrastructure, etc). It Is even Possible that mobile client application Intentionally operates in disconnected mode to reduce communication cost and the power consumption of the mobile device. We use “data hoarding” as a means of providing local autonomy to allow transactions to be processed and committed on the mobile host despite of disconnection. The key problem to this approach is the synchronization problem that serialize potentially conflicting updates from disconnected clients on master objects of the server database. In this paper, we present a new transaction synchronizing method that splits a transaction into a set of independent component transactions and give the synchronization priority on each component taking the possibility of use and conflicts in the server into consideration. Synchronization is performed component by component based un synchronization priority. After the Preferred component of a no bile transaction succeeds in synchronization with the server, the mobile transaction can pre-commit at server. A pre-committed transaction's updated value is made visible at server before the final commit of the transaction. The synchronization of the component with low synchronization priority can be delayed in adaption to wireless bandwidth and computing resources. As a result, the availability of important data updated by mobile client is increased and it can maximize the utilization of the limited wireless bandwidth and computing resources.

  • In cognitive radio (CR), spectrum sensing is an essential function since secondary users (SUs) must determine whether the primary user (PU) is utilizing the channel or not, and furthermore, SUs opportunistically access the licensed channel when the PU is absent. In this paper, spectrum sensing is implemented by energy detection, and a software-defined radio testbed is built to evaluate sensing performance by energy detection in a real environment. In particular, the testbed was built based on the GNU's Not Unix (GNU) Radio software platform and Universal Software Radio Peripheral National Instruments 2900 devices. More specifically, a new block of energy detection is developed by using an out-of-tree module from GNU Radio. To successfully integrate CR into the cloud computing paradigm, we also implement cloud computing-based spectrum sensing by utilizing a cloud server with ThingSpeak, such that we can store, process, and share the sensing information more efficiently in a centralized way in the cloud server.

  • As cloud computing and the Internet of things are getting popular, the number of devices in the Internet of things computing environments is increasing. In addition, there exist various Internet-based applications, such as home automation and healthcare. In turn, existing studies explored the quality of service, such as downtime and reliability of tasks for Internet of things applications. To enhance the quality of service of Internet of things applications, cloud-fog computing (combining cloud computing and edge computing) can be used for offloading burdens from the central cloud server to edge servers. However, when devices inherit the mobility property, continuity and the quality of service of Internet of things applications can be reduced. In this paper, we propose a resource management scheme based on live migrations for mobility support in edge-based fog computing environments. The proposed resource management algorithm is based on the mobility direction and pace to predict the expected position, and migrates tasks to the target edge server. The performance results show that our proposed resource management algorithm improves the reliability of tasks and reduces downtime of services.

  • To understand whether Falling, which is one of the causes of injuries, occurs, various behavior recognition research is proceeding. However, in most research recognize only the fact that Falling has occurred and provide the service. As well as the occurrence of the Falling, the risk varies greatly based on the type of Falling and the situation before and after the Falling. Therefore, when Falling occurs, it is necessary to infer the user's current situation and provide appropriate services. In this paper, we propose to base on Fog Computing and Cloud Computing to design Context-aware System using analysis of behavior data and process sensor data in real-time. This system solved the problem of increase latency and server overload due to large capacity sensor data.

  • In recent years, mobile devices have become an essential part of daily life. More and more applications are being supported by mobile devices thanks to edge computing, which represents an emergent architecture that provides computing, storage, and networking capabilities for mobile devices. In edge computing, heavy tasks are offloaded to edge nodes to alleviate the computations on the mobile side. However, offloading computational tasks may incur extra energy consumption and delays due to network congestion and server queues. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize offloading decisions to minimize time, energy, and payment costs. In this article, different offloading models are examined to identify the offloading parameters that need to be optimized. The paper investigates and compares several optimization techniques used to optimize offloading decisions, specifically Swarm Intelligence (SI) models, since they are best suited to the distributed aspect of edge computing. Furthermore, based on the literature review, this study concludes that a Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA) in an edge-based architecture is a good solution for balancing energy consumption, time, and cost.

  • The arrival of the Internet of Things and 5G technology enables users to rely on edge computing platforms to process massive data. Data sharing based on edge computing refines the efficiency of data collection and analysis, saves the communication cost of data transmission back and forth, but also causes the privacy leakage of a lot of user data. Based on attribute-based encryption and blockchain technology, we design a fine-grained access control scheme for data in edge computing, which has the characteristics of verifiability, support for outsourcing decryption and user attribute revocation. User attributes are authorized by multi-attribute authorization, and the calculation of outsourcing decryption in attribute encryption is completed by edge server, which reduces the computing cost of end users. Meanwhile, We implemented the user's attribute revocation process through the dual encryption process of attribute authority and blockchain. Compared with other schemes, our scheme can manage users' attributes more flexibly. Blockchain technology also ensures the verifiability in the process of outsourcing decryption, which reduces the space occupied by ciphertext compared with other schemes. Meanwhile, the user attribute revocation scheme realizes the dynamic management of user attribute and protects the privacy of user attribute.

  • The growth of computer resource and network speed has increased requests for the use of remotely located computer systems by connecting through computer networks. This phenomenon has hoisted research activities for application service provision that uses server-based remote computing paradigm. The server-based remote computing paradigm has been developed as the ASP (Application Service Provision) model, which provides remote users through application sharing protocol to application programs. Security requirement such as confidentiality, availability, integrity should be satisfied to provide ASP service using centralized computing system. Existing Telnet or FTP service for a remote computing systems have satisfied security requirement by a simple access control to files and/or data. But windows-based centralized computing system is vulnerable to confidentiality, availability, integrity where many users use the same application program installed in the same computer. In other words, the computing system needs detailed security level for each user different from others, such that only authorized user or group of users can run some specific functional commands for the program. In this paper, we propose windows based centralized computing system that sets security policies for each user for the use of instructions of the application programs, and performs access control to the instructions based on the security policies. The system monitors all user messages which are executed through graphical user interface by the users connecting to the system. Ail Instructions, i.e. messages, for the application program are now passed to authorization process that decides if an Instruction is delivered to the application program based on the pre-defined security polices. This system can be used as security clearance for each user for the shared computing resource as well as shared application programs.

  • There is growing interest in the use of cloud services these days because the amount of sensitive physical information related to u-fitness-based exercise management increase in explosive. However, it is possible to illegally access information stored in a cloud server, and to find out who owns the information, even, to illegally deduce an association among the information stored in its memory. The cloud server may also intentionally pass over the owner's legitimate operation requests such as modification and deletion of stored information, and may lose or damage information due to its malfunction. So, it is strongly required to solve the above problems because we can not trust the cloud server entirely. In this paper, we propose a protocol to preserve the privacy of the owner for u-Fitness-based exercise management in a cloud computing environment. And we show that our proposed architecture is applicable in real environment through security analysis and performance analysis.
