Sequence data plays an important role in the field of intelligence, especially for industrial control, traffic control and other aspects. Finding abnormal parts in sequence data has long been an application field of AI technology. In this paper, we propose an anomaly detection method for sequence data using a diffusion model. The diffusion model has two major advantages: interpretability derived from rigorous mathematical derivation and unrestricted selection of backbone models. This method uses the diffusion model to predict and reconstruct the sequence data, and then detects the abnormal part by comparing with the real data. This paper successfully verifies the feasibility of the diffusion model in the field of anomaly detection. We use the combination of MLP and diffusion model to generate data and compare the generated data with real data to detect anomalous points.

Lately, a large amount of textual data have been poured out of the Internet and the technology to refine them is needed. Most of these data are long text and often have no title. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a technique to combine the sequence-to-sequence model of RNN and the REINFORCE algorithm to generate the title of the long text automatically. In addition, the TextRank algorithm was applied to extract a summarized text to minimize information loss in order to protect the shortcomings of the sequence-to-sequence model in which an information is lost when long texts are used. Through the experiment, the techniques proposed in this study are shown to be superior to the existing ones.

Predicting the cellular location of an unknown protein gives a valuable information for inferring the possible function of the protein. For more accurate prediction system, we need a good feature extraction method that transforms the raw sequence data into the numerical feature vector, minimizing information loss. In this paper, we propose new methods of extracting underlying features only from the sequence data by computing pairwise sequence alignment scores. In addition, we use composition based features to improve prediction accuracy. To construct an SVM ensemble from separately trained SVM classifiers, we propose specificity based weighted majority voting. The overall prediction accuracy evaluated by the 5-fold cross-validation reached 88.53% for the eukaryotic animal data set. By comparing the prediction accuracy of various feature extraction methods, we could get the biological insight on the location of targeting information. Our numerical experiments confirm that our new feature extraction methods are very useful for predicting subcellular localization of proteins.

In this paper, a set of new complementary quadriphase sequences based on Jacket matrix is proposed. It is with a good zero cross correlation zone and efficiently eliminates the inter-user interferences for CDMA systems. Unlike the conventional complementary sequence designs, the proposed sequences can be easily extended to large odd and even sizes by using a fast linear transform for multi-user communication systems. The computer simulation shows that the proposed sequences have better performance than conventional multi-user spreading CDMA systems using ZCZ sequence.

Information obtained from DFD(Data Flow Diagram) are very important in system maintenance, because most legacy systems are analyzed using DFD in structured analysis. In our thesis, we design and implement an extractor for design sequence of database tables using DFD. Our extractor gets DFDs as input data, transform them into a directed graph, and extract design sequence of DB tables. We show practicality of our extractor by applying it to a s/w system in operation.
In this paper, we consider a scheduling problem of printed circuit board production process with setup cost depending job sequence. Given a set of PCBs, these are produced in single surface mounting device. The problem is to define job sequence with the objective of minimizing the total seutp cost. We propose a mathematical formulation and the problem is proven to be NP-hard. So, a meta heuristic based on genetic algorithm is developed.

A time synchronization method for Advanced T-DMB is proposed using PN sequence inserted in PRS for the transmission of hierarchical modulation mode information. The time synchronization offset is estimated through the cross-correlation of the PN sequence and the received PRS. The performance of the proposed method is analyzed by the BER analysis in mobile channel and the results are shown.
The original DANTE sequence and its variations have limitation in excitation profile (a sinc function-like excitation) due to the finite duration of the DANTE pulsetrain. This sinc function-like selection profile excites only a small fraction of the spins in the pixel thereby results in poor signal to noise ratio (only about ${\sim}1%$ of normal MR imaging sequence). Therefore, this poor signal to noise ratio (SNR) has been the main drawback of the original DANTE sequence. To improve the signal to noise ratio, phases of individual RF pulses in the DANTE pulse train were modulated so that more spins in the object were excited ($1{\sim}3$). We have introduced a new FM (Frequency Modulation) DANTE sequence and analyzed the signal intensity and excitation profiles.

Although assembly sequence planning is an essential task in assembly process planning, it is known as one of the most difficult and time consuming jobs because its complexity is increased geometrically when the number of parts in an assembly is increased. The purpose of this study is to develop a more efficient algorithm for generating assembly sequences automatically. By considering subassemblies, a new heuristic method generates a preferred parallel assembly sequence that can be used in robotic assembly systems. A parallel assembly sequence concept provides a new representation scheme for an assembly in which the assembly sequence precedence information is not required. After an user inputs both the directional mating relation information and the mating condition information, an assembly product is divided into subgroups if the product has cut-vertices. Then, a virtual disassembly process is executed to generate alternate parallel assembly sequences with intermediate assembly stability. Through searching parts relations in the virtual disassembly process, stable subassemblies are extracted from translation-free parts along disassembling directions and this extraction continues until no more subassemblies are existed. Also, the arithmetic mean parallelism formula as a preference criterion is adapted to select the best parallel assembly sequence among others. Finally a preferred parallel assembly sequence is converted to an assembly BOM structure. The results from this study can be utilized for developing CAAPP(Computer-Aided Assembly Process Planning) systems as an efficient assembly sequence planning algorithm.
