Stroke crossing number, syntactic pattern recognition procedure, top down recognition structure, and heuristic approach are studied for the Korean text recognition. We propose new algorithms: 1)Korean vowel seperation using limited scanning method in the Korean characters, 2) extracting strokes using stroke width method, 3) stroke crossing number and its properties, 4) average, standard deviation, and mode of stroke crossing number, and 5) classification and recognition methods of limited chinese character. These are studied with computer simuladtions and experiments.

Low inductance 4-channel spark gap switch was designed and performed. At NTP, self-breakdown voltage is 29kv, 43kv and 33kv when ratio of seperation($d_1$: $d_2$) is 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3 respectively.

본 논문의 목적은 대규모 선형 시불변 계통에 대한 합성 제어기의 설계에 관한 새로운 방법을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 주어진 계통을 행렬 부호 함수를 이용하여 그 고유치의 크기에 따라 블럭 대각 분해하고 각부 계통에 대한 최적 제어기 및 전체계통에 대한 준최적 합성 제어기를 설계한다. 이 방법은 주어진 계통의 고유치를 미리 알 필요가 없으며 계통의 블력 분해 과정에서 Riccati 방정식및 Lyapunov 방정식의 해를 구할 필요가 없고 특이섭등 기법이나 Two time scale seperation 방법에서의 제약조건에 관계없이 광범위하게 적용되는 장점이 있다.

The objectives of this study are to analyze, based upon agency theory, empirically the relevance between ownership structure and corporate performance. In this study, samples are 285 firms listed in Korea stock exchage from 1990 to 1994. The results of this empirical test are summarized as follows : Insider-equity ratio of firm in Korea has been positively correlated with performance of corporate. This study intended to present the desirable implecations for seperation of ownership and management.

Ununited Anconeal Process (UAP) is defined as a disease of young dogs due to developmental abnormality in which there is a seperation of the anconeal process from the diaphysis of the ulna, leading to a front leg lameness and secondary osteoarthritis. A six -year-old German Shepherd dog was presented because of intermittent right front leg lameness. Diagnosis was made of ununited anconeal process with moderate osteoarthritis by radiographic examination. Surgical removal of ununited anconeal process and curettage of osteoarthritic growth within the elbow joint relieved significant clinical signs despite of size and age of the dog.

Bowlby has proposed that child-mother attachment is important in the child's representation of self. In this study the child's self-perceived competence was examined in connect8ion with child-mother attachment in a sample of 40 6-year-olds. Quality of attachment was assessed based on the child's behavior on reunion following a seperation using a system devised by Main and Cassidy. The self-perceived competence was assessed with a pictorial harter's Scale revised by Julie Lee. The results showed significant connections between attachment and the self-perceived competence. Specific areas of self-perceptions were related to particular patterns of attachment.

Wheel impact due to the joint discontinuity is a major source of uncomfortable vibration in the railway vehicles. Since the impact signal is measured using sensors attached to the bogie and its energy content is small compared to the other vibrations from the machineries such as motors and gear systems, the seperation of the impact signal is generally difficult. In this study a technique using an evolutionary spectrum is proposed in order to estimate the impact signal due to the rail joint discontinuity.

As a part of the fermentation control scheme for the preservation and improvement of the quality of Kimch, this paper summerizes a result of the research into the cleaning method of materials, the fermentation of Kimch using cleaning materials, the search of lacticacidbacteria for starter, the seperation state of cell wall by starter, the fermentation of Kimchi in the airtight instrument and in the air controlled state. And it shows the influence on the growth of lacticacidbacteria when the herb-medicine is used as a sub-ingredients, and the effects on the quality of ginseng added Kimchi.

The Purpose of this study is to Provide a basic data for Projects of residential bathroom remodeling according to contemporary life style. The subjects of this investigation are collected through questionnaire from adult resident who live in Seoul Korea. Four hundred ten cases are collected, and frequencies, percentile, crosstabs, and factor analysis and varianc analysis using Spss-win program analyze adequate cases in necessary condition. In this study, residents demographic informations, bathroom preferences, types, sizes, cost construction period, instruments needs, behaviors and facilities seperation are included. By statistics treatment, the significance of the data is analyzed.
