제철 슬래그를 이용한 광물 탄산화 기술의 개발 현황과 연구 방향 (Development Status and Research Direction in the Mineral Carbonation Technology Using Steel Slag)

  • 이논문에서는 $CO_2$ 활용기술관점에서광물탄산화기술의하나인제철슬래그를이용한침강성탄산칼슘(Precipitated Calcium Carbonate, PCC) 제조 기술의 개발 현황을 고찰하였다. 광물 탄산화 기술의 원리, 특징, 전세계적 개발 현향을 살펴보았고, PCC 제조기술 및 시장동향도 파악하였다. 광물 탄산화는 안정적이고 친환경적인 기술로, 산업 부산물의 경제적 처리를 가능하게 한다. 일반적으로 슬래그중 Ca 용출 및 고액 분리 과정후 상등액과 $CO_2$의 반응을 통해 탄산칼슘을 제조한다. 이 기술은 파일럿 단계까지 기술개발이 진행되었으며(알토대학교의 Slag2PCC), 상용화를 위해서는 경제성 증대가 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 개발을 위한 핵심 기술로는 슬래그로부터 Ca의 효과적 용출 및 불순물 제거, 탄산칼슘의 입도 및 입형 제어를 통한 고부가가치화, 잔사 슬래그의 활용방안 발굴, 연속공정 구현을 위한 반응 조건최적화 등을 들 수 있다.

Galvani전류가 백서의 하악골 성장에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구 (AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF THE GALVANIC CURRENT ON THE MANDIBULAR GROWTH IN RAT)

  • In almost all biologic systems, mechanically induced electric charge separation is a fundamental phenomenon. Since the hypothesis was established that the generation of electric potentials in bone by mechanical stress including muscular force might control the activity in bone by mechanical stress including muscular force might control the activity of osseous cells and their biopolymeric byproduct, the concept of electrically mediate growth mechanism, which involves biological growth and bone remodeling by any means, in living systems has been applied clinically and experimentally to orthopedic fracture repair, the regulation of orthodontic tooth movement, epiphyseal cartilage regeneration, etc. On the other hand, recent numerous research data available show apparently that the mandibular condyle has the characteristics of growth center as well as growth site. In addition, there exists a considerable difference of opinion as to the role of external pterygoid muscle in condylar growth. In view of these evidences, this. experiment was performed to investigate the effect of the galavic current on the growth of the mandible and condyle for elucidating the nature of condylar growth. The bimetallic device was composed of silver and platinum electrode connected with resistor (3.9 Mohm), which was expected to produce galvanic current of 23.6 nA according to the galvanic principle. The 25 Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into two group, 2 week group comprising 8 animals exposed to satanic current for 2 weeks and 3 control animals not exposed for 2 weeks, 4 week group comprising 10 animals in experimental group and 4 animals in control group applied for 4 weeks respectively. The experimental rats were subjected to application of the galvanic current invasively to codylar head surface and the control groups with sham electrode. On the basis of anatomic and histologic data from the mandibular condyle of experimental and control group, the following results were obtained. 1. After 2 weeks, there was no increase of mandibular size in experimental group over that of the control group. 2. After 4 weeks, the size of the condylar head was larger in experimental group than that of the control. 3. In 2 week group, the thickness of the mitotic compartment and hypertrophic chondroblastic layer was increased in experimental group. 4. In 4 week group, the number and the size of the hypertrophic chondroblasts were increased significantly on experimental group over that of the control group. 5. The application of the satanic current caused an increase in chondrocytic hypertrophy and intercellular matrix in both groups.

서울시 일반폐기물의 통합적 관리체계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Integrated Management System of Municipal Solid Waste from Seoul Metropolitan City)

  • The integrated solid waste management for Seoul Metropolitan city can be established on the basis of the following hierarchy of priorities: 1. Efforts for source reduction should be propelled by both government and citizens to achieve the effects of resource conservation. The adequate production and consumption which are environmentally amenable and sustainable can be induced by the reasonable imposition of deposit money for waste treatment to one-time use products. To accomplish source reduction effectively, the induction of legal and institutional regulation of producer and consumer participation is requisite. 2. For resource recovery, wastes generated should be recycled as far as practicable. Community residents are responsible to separate discharge, the authorities concerned have responsibility of separate collection, and recycling industry should be assissted through tax reduction and financing. Resource separation facilities can be constructed at Kimpo Metropolitan landfill site for wastes not separately collected due to some unavoidable circumstances. 3. Garbage should be composted. Garbage is uneconomical for incineration, because it has high moisture content and low calorie, thus there is no reason for the incineration of garbage even though garbage is classified into combustibles. Composting facilities can be located at sites which are not densely populated and easily accessible to transportation, for example, Kimpo Metropolitan landfill site. Compost produced can be managed by the authorities for the use of fertilizer to a green tract of suburban land and farms. 4. Nonhazardous combustible wastes not recyclable can be utilized for thermal recovery at the incinerators which are completely equipped with pollution control devices. According to the trend of local autonomy and the equity principle of local autonomous entities, incineration facilities of minimal capacity required can be constructed at each districts of Seoul Metropolitan city which have organized local assembly. In case of Yangcheon district, the economically combustible waste quantity is about 260 tons/day which exceeds 150 tons/day, the incineration capacity of existing facility. But, from now on, waste quantity can be reduced substantially by the intensive efforts of citizens for source reduction and recycling and the institutional support of administrative organizations. Especially, it is indispensable for the government to constitute institutional and technological bases that can recycle paper and plastics form 43% of waste generated. A good time for constructing of incineration facilities for municipal solid waste can be postponed to the time that pollution control technologies of domestic enterprises are fully developed to satisfy the standards of air pollution prevention, because the life expectancy of Kimpo Metropolitan landfill site is about 25 years. Within this period, institutional improvements and technological advancements can be attained, while the air qual. ity of Seoul Metropolitan city can be ameliorated to the level to afford incineration facilities. 5. For final disposal, incombustibles and ash are landfilled sanitarily at Kimpo Metropolitan landfill site.

  • 금속유기골격체(metal-organic frameworks, MOFs)는 나노사이즈의 기공을 가진 다공성 물질로, 금속이온과 유기리간드의 종류에 따라 기체흡착도 및 기공크기의 조절이 가능하다. 이러한 장점을 이용하여, 기체 포집 및 분리, 그리고 기체센서분야에서 금속유기골격체에 대한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 신속하고, 정량적인 기체 흡탈착 분석을 위해서는, 센서 표면에 균일한 필름 형태의 다양한 MOF 구조체를 형성해야 한다. 본 총설논문에서는 양극산화알루미늄, 산화아연 나노막대, 구리 박막으로부터 직접합성법을 이용하여 각각 MIL-53 (Al), ZIF-8, Cu-BDC와 같은 MOF를 마이크로진동자 센서 표면에 균일하게 합성하는 방법에 대해 정리하였다. 또한, 대표적인 마이크로진동자인 수정진동자미세저울과 마이크로캔틸레버의 작동원리와 금속유기골격체에 기체흡착 시 변하는 신호해석에 대한 내용을 다룬다. 이를 통해, 마이크로진동자 기반 금속유기골격체의 기체 흡탈착 분석에 대한 이해를 높이고자 한다.

대순사상의 태극에 관한 연구 - 주자의 태극과 비교를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Taegeuk in Daesoon Thoughts)

  • This thesis strives to identify the peculiarities of Taegeuk (the yin-yang) and the relationships of Ri (reason/cause), Ki (Energy) and Do (duty). The Taegeuk is related with the Sangjekwan (highest ruling entity), Rikiron (noble theory) and the Boncheron (ontology) of the Daesoon Sasang (Daesoon Thoughts) which therefore is a priority research topic. Although said, due to the lack of original materials and the difficulty to understand the topic, the research is insignificant. Within chapter II of this thesis, the concept of the Taegeuk, the Rigi and Do from the perspective of Juja is observed. In chapter III, the relationship of Moogeuk and the Taegeuk which is mentioned in the foundation origin of the Daesoonjinrihoe. In addition, the Taegeuk and Eumyang's noble perspectives are observed through the comparison of Juja and Daesoon Sasang. In chapter IV, the aspects of Taegeuk's supervision is observed through the noumenality of the Taegeuk which is shown in the Daesoon Sasang along with the concept of mythology. Within the overall context, the Daesoon Sasang's ontology has similar structures with Juja's Taegeuk. This can be stated that Jojeongsan who had found the system of doctrine had not acknowledged Juja's theories but have rather interpreted Kangjeungsan's ontology in a Neo-Confucianism to better let the people understand. This can be observed as expediential teachings. The metaphysical Ri and the physical Ki's separation, and the relationship of matters and functions of the Taegeuk and Do can be stated to be similar within an overall outline in the aspect of the Rikiron. The Taegeuk becomes the primary figure whilst explaining Daesoon Sasang's Ri/Ki/Do and also becomes the Soiyeon (such reasons). Extreme Do is drawn from the Taegeuk and as Do resembles the trend of the Taegeuk, it is referred as the origin of all the things in the universe. However, Juja vigorously tried to witness God's notions in a principled, atheistic way. However, the main principle is regarded as divine in the aspect of the universe's functions and effects in the Daesoon Sasang. The personal Sangjekwan which embodies these profound and mysterious Taegeuk, is Daesoon Sasang's peculiarity which cannot be found in Neo-Confucianism. Therefore, in the Daesoon Sasang, both the order and character are being regarded in the ontology through personal divine.

  • There are various understandings how to define death. In the context of medicine, death is defined as the irreversible change of the tissue according to the cessation of circulation and respiration. According to the psychologists, a person need to accept the finiteness as a human being and remain conscious that the death is not avoidable. And they say if a person doesn't regard death as unavoidable reality of life he or she will not confront the humanistic death and after all will die like animals. In philosophy, death is viewed as an unwelcome reality in the end of the journey of life. Sociologists usually understand that the society is the organization composed with living persons and human beings which construct and transmit the culture from generation to generation between the both ends of life and death. In society, the generation is changed, maintained, and developed through the phenomenon of death. Although death of human being is natural event in society, the death of a specific person brings a sense of loss, crisis, and anxiety to the communities like family, regional society, nation, and the world. In this context, death is not confined to personal dimension and it can be regarded as a social problem. It is valuable to summarize the religious perspectives on the meaning of death for the better hospice care. In shamanism, there are basic idea that although the flesh of human being disappears, soul never die. If human dies, the flesh of human being disappears but soul never disappear and come back to the origin of soul as it is called chaos. So in shamanism, it is said that shaman can solve the mortified feeling, restore the broken harmony, send the soul to comfortable space- the origin, and guarantee the blessing of descendents. Buddhists regard the death as an essential component through the cycles of life. Through this cycle, human being exits as an endlessly transmigrating being and the death is just a restoration to the original status. In Confucianism, the view on the death based on the philosophy of the "Yin and Yang" and "Five elements". In Buddhist tradition, many believers said the philosophy of "Death is the same as life". Unlike usual thoughts that a god governs "life and death" and "fortune and misfortune", Confucianists deny the governance of a god and emphasize the natural orders in which every phenomenon in the world moves according to the principle. Confucianists understand the death as a natural order with this principle. In Confucianists' belief, the essence of human being remains in their own descendent's lives after the death of ancestor, so in Confucianism there is no concept of immortality of the soul. In the history of Christianity, death has been defined generally as the separation of the immortal soul from the mortal body. In the earlier days of Old Testament, the death is regarded as a disappearance of just a flesh and human never disappear and always live in the relationship with God. Later days in Old Testament, we can find the growing concern for the life after the death because of the entrance of the theodicy. In the New Testament, the death is not regarded as the normal process of the human life and regarded as the abnormal status in which death come to human because of sin as a decisive factor and it should be conquered. In fact, the most of us afraid death because not of the fear of death itself but of the sense of the emptiness and regrets. so many people often make the monument hoping to live forever. But Christian usually regard this behavior as a sinful act because human being usually think themselves as a master of their life and attempt to become immortal in this kind of trial mortal. But if we live with God, we cannot confront such a condition because we aware limits as a mortal human being and entrust everything on Him and want to live according to His guidance. Therefore, in the Christian tradition, the death is regarded as accomplishment of life, fruits of life, invitation to the eternal life, and the last stage of human growth. For human being, the death is the great step of maturation as a human in the final stage of life.

여헌(旅軒) 장현광(張顯光)의 교육관 탐구 - 성리학적 본질의 심화 - (Quest for Yeoheon Jang Hyeon-gwang's View on Education - Deepening of the intrinsic nature in accordance with the Neo-Confucianistic thought)

  • 여헌 장현광은 조선시대 여타의 유학자에 비해 철저하게 성리학의 본질을 충실하게 탐구하고, 심도 있게 학설을 확장시킨 학자이다. 여헌은 성리학적 교육의 기본 체계인 "대학"과 "중용"에 의거하여 자신의 학설을 강화한다. 이러한 사유의 전개에 근거하여 여헌의 교육사상은 세 측면에서 조명해 볼 수 있다. 첫째, 여헌은 교육의 기준으로서 성인군주론(聖人君主論)을 심화한다. 그것은 본질적으로 존천리알인욕(存天理?人欲)을 추구하며, 도덕적 각성과 덕치주의를 강조한다. 둘째, 여헌은 교육의 양식으로서 성경(誠敬)의 공부론을 강조한다. 여헌은 마음에 성(誠)과 경(敬)을 세울 것을 강조하고, 두 가지의 차별성을 인정하면서도 동일한 맥락에서 이해한다. 셋째, 여헌은 교육의 방법으로서 분합(分合)의 조화를 주창한다. 여헌은 그의 독특한 리기경위설(理氣經緯說)을 통해, 역(易)의 논리에 따라 어느 한쪽으로 치우치거나 지나치지 않는 중용의 관점을 유지한다. 이러한 여헌의 교육적 사유는 현대 교육적 의미에서 볼 때, 교육의 표준을 도덕의 확립에 두고, 교육의 양식과 방법에서 중용적 통찰을 고려하는 아이디어를 제공한다. 요컨대, 여헌의 교육사상은 일관성을 지닌 전통 성리학의 교육적 지혜를 담고 있는데, 현대 교육의 기준 혼란, 내용의 비체계화, 방법적 치우침에 대한 균형 감각의 중요성을 재검토하는 데 주요한 시사점을 준다.

마찰대전 나노발전기의 출력 및 안정성 향상을 위한 일렉트렛 개발 (Development of Electret to Improve Output and Stability of Triboelectric Nanogenerator)

  • 초소형, 웨어러블 기기 기술의 빠른 발전에 따라, 전자기기 구동을 위한 시공간적인 제한이 없는 지속적인 전기 공급을 필요로 한다. 이에 따라, 두 가지 다른 재료의 접촉과 분리로 만들어지는 정전기를 활용하는 마찰대전 나노발전기(Triboelectric nanogenerator, TENG)는 간단한 원리 덕분에, 복잡한 과정 및 설계 없이도 자연에서 버려지는 다양한 형태의 에너지들을 효과적으로 수확하는 수단으로 활용되고 있다. 하지만, TENG의 실생활의 적용을 위해서는 전기적 출력의 증가가 필요하다. 또한, 전기적 출력의 증가뿐만 아니라 전기적 출력의 안정적인 발생은 TENG의 상용화를 위해서 해결해야 될 과제이다. 본 연구에서는 TENG의 출력을 향상시킬 뿐만 아니라, 향상된 출력을 안정적으로 나타낼 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 출력의 향상 및 안정성을 위해서 TENG 구성 요소 중 하나인 접촉층을 일렉트렛으로 사용하였다. 활용된 일렉트렛은 Fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) 필름에 코로나 차징과 열처리 과정을 순차적으로 진행함으로써 제작되었다. 코로나 차징으로 인해 인위적으로 주입된 전하가 열처리 과정에 의해서 깊은 트랩으로 들어가게 되어 전하의 이탈 현상이 최소화된 일렉트렛을 제작하고 이를 TENG 제작에 활용하였다. 제작된 일렉트렛의 출력 성능은 수직 접촉 분리 모드 TENG의 전압 출력을 측정함으로써 검증되었고, 코로나 차징 과정을 거친 일렉트렛은 어떠한 처리도 되지 않은 FEP 필름에 대비 12배 높은 출력 전압을 나타냈다. 일렉트렛의 시간 및 습도 안정성은 일반 외부 환경 및 극한의 습도 환경에 일렉트렛을 노출시킨 후, TENG의 출력 전압을 측정함으로써 확인되었다. 또한, 박수를 모티브로 한 Clap-TENG에 일렉트렛을 적용하여 LED를 작동시킴으로써 실생활에 적용할 수 있음을 보여주었다.

한방건강검진 프로그램의 내용과 참가자들의 만족도에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Contents and Satisfaction of Oriental Medicine Examination Program)

  • 1. As a point at issue of occidental medicine examination, followings have been indicated, 1) Occidental medical examination is performed by mainly test and instrument and therefore, role of doctors could be excluded and it could be diagnosed only for target disease and 2) in Korea, it could not be conducted in public medical system and therefore improvement effect of public health promotion could not be made due to increase of total medical expenses and infirmity of post management. These points are substantial limit of paradigm resided in occidental medicine and also problem caused by unique characteristics of medical system of Korea. In Korea, result of occidental medical examination show increased health risk from aged thirties and major diagnosed diseases are circulatory disease or chronic disease such as hepatic, hyperlipemic, hypertensional disease and diabetes, etc. Accounting that those chronic disease make a role as major public health risk, it is difficult that medical examination by only occidental medicine make effect on public health promotion. 2. Characteristics of oriental medicine examination could be summarized as diagnosis (information acquisition based on the facts) and demonstration (speculation based on acquired information) and in addition, quadruple diagnosis, as a medical examination method, include test as well as basic examination. Accounting on oriental medical examination, principally it is performed by independent herbalist and therefore, herbalist could acquire systemic result during first medical examination. Based on the theory of inner-outer examination, oriental medical examination has a principle of universe theory, systemic analysis of quadruple diagnosis, demonstration & reasoning. In addition, root of oriental medical examination could be found in pre-disease theory, a principal theory of oriental medicine. Pre-disease service could prove the advantage of oriental medicine in medical examination activities and therefore, it is needed that content of oriental medical examination should be actualized in current medical system. 3. In this study, oriental medical examination program, comprised of pulse-diagnosis, contrast muscular taking and medical consultation of herbalist is progressed communally with occidental medical examination. As pre-examination, questionary was given of general characteristics, health promoting life style, physical constitution and subjective symptom of musculoskeletal system. In addition, post-examination notification was given to subjects about health promoting control, physical constitution regimen and management of musculoskeletal system. During this study program, verification was conducted for input of acquired information and difference of each information after analysis and in addition, performed was analysis of factor influencing health promoting life style and musculoskeletal subjective symptom and evaluation of relationship of physical constitution and health promoting life study. In addition, it was verified of difference between musculoskeletal subjective symptom and result of muscle contrast picture evaluation. 4. Evaluation of oriental medical examination model is divided into 2 categories of oriental medical examination-consultation and result evaluation -post management. Oriental medical examination-consultation demands establishment of examination system, standardization of examination and establishment of examination form and in addition, it should be admitted as enlarged examination assists systemic quadruple diagnosis of herbalist not a key of oriental medical examination. In addition, information acquisition for research purpose should be performed according to the systemic research plan based on the separation of questionary for examination purpose and research purpose. For evaluation of the result, it was concluded that needed are result evaluation meets oriental medical system and post-notification system, informing health management information, based on examination result. 5. Accounting on satisfaction for oriental medical examination model, affirmative reply was much higher (66%) than negative (8.64%). Satisfaction of each area was in order of consultation of herbalist, systemic muscle contrast taking, pulse examination, post-notification and questionary fill-up and dissatisfaction was in order of post-notification, questionary fill-up, consultation of herbalist, systemic muscle contrast taking and pulse measurement. Satisfaction for collaborative examination of occidental and oriental medicine was over 60% and over 75% hope oriental examination would be included in later medical examination program. Based on this result, collaborative examination including occidental and oriental medicine could increase satisfaction of subjects for medical examination program.

  • 연구배경 : 기관지천식은 일종의 염증성 질환으로서 다형핵구가 병태생리에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 특히 다형핵구로부터 생성되는 독성산화물들은 기도 및 폐조직 손상을 야기시켜 기관지 천식의 병인에 기여하는 것으로 알려져 있으나, 이에 대한 실질적인 증거가 아직 부족할 뿐아니라 이들이 폐조직손상을 일으키는 기전 또한 불분명하다. 이에 저자들은 기관지천식환자들의 다형핵구로부터 생성되는 과산화 음이온이 실제로 폐포세포손상에 중요한 역할을 하는지 여부와 과산화 음이온이 폐포세포 손상을 일으키는 기전을 보다 명확히 하고자 본 연구를 시작하였다. 방법 : 임상적으로 안정된 12명의 기관지천식환자와 5명의 정상인들을 대상으로 하였으며, 말초혈액 다형핵구는 말초혈액으로부터 dextran 침강법 및 Ficoll-Hypaque 밀도차 분리법을 이용하여 분리하였다. 다형핵구의 과산화 음이온 생성능 및 혈장 SOD 활성도는, 과산화 음이온이 cytochrome c를 환원시켜 나타나는 발색반응을 이용하여 분광측정법으로 측정하였으며, 다형핵구의 A549 폐포세포에 대한 세포독성작용은 $^{51}Cr$ release assay로 측정하였으며, A549 lysis 및 A549 detachment 두가지 측면에서 관찰하였다. 결과 1) 다형핵구의 과산화 음이온 생성능은 천식환자군이 정상군에 비해 현저히 높았으며 ($2.81{\pm}0.95$$6.65{\pm}0.58\;mmol/1{\times}10^6$ cells, p<0.05), 각 환자의 $FEV_1$과는 역상관관계를 보였으나 (R=-0.63, p<0.05), $PC_{20}$ histamine과는 상관관계가 없었다. 2) 혈장 SOD 활성도는 천식환자군이 정상군에 비해 다소 감소되어 있는 경향을 보였으나 통계학적 의미는 없었으며, 각 환자의 $FEV_1$과는 상관관계를 보였으나(R=0.63, p<0.05) $PC_{20}$ histamine과는 상관관계가 없었다. 3) 정상군에서는 혈장 SOD 활성도와 다형핵구의 과산화음이온 생성능간에 의미있는 상관관계를 보였으나(R=0.88, p<0.05), 천식환자군에서는 상관관계가 없었다. 4) 두군 모두에서 다형핵구에 의한 A549 폐포세포의 손상형태가 lysis 보다는 detachment가 더욱 현저한 경향을 보였으며, 두가지 모두 천식 환자군에서 다소 높은 경향을 보였다. 또한 두군 모두에서 SOD 전처치에 의해 A549 detachment는 현저하게 억제되었으나 A549 lysis는 억제되지 않았으며, 두가지 모두가 혈창 전처치에 의해서는 억제되지 않았다. 5) 두군 모두에서 다형핵구의 과산화 음이온 생성능과 A549 detachement와는 유의한 상관관계가 있었으나(정상군 : R=0.90, 환자군 : R=0.82), A549 lysis와는 별로 상관관계가 없었으며, 혈장 SOD 활성도는 상관관계를 보이지 않았다. 또한 천식환자군에서 A549 lysis나 A549 detachment는 환자의 $FEV_1$ 도는 $PC_{20}$ histamine과는 의미있는 상관관계를 보이지 않았다.6) 다형핵구에 의한 폐포세포손상의 양상에 있어서 알레르기성 천식환자와 비알레르기성 천식환자 사이에는 의미있는 차이가 없었다. 결론 : 이상의 연구결과 다형핵구로부터 생성되는 과산화 음이온에 의한 기도 및 폐조직 손상이 기관지천식의 병인에 부분적으로 영향을 미칠 것으로 생각되며, 과산화 음이온은 주로 폐포세포의 탈락을 야기시킴으로써 폐포세포 손상을 일으키는 것으로 추측된다.
