생활도로에서의 교통행태와 교통사고특성에 관한 연구 - 서울특별시를 중심으로 (The Comparative Study on Travel Behavior and Traffic Accident Characteristics on a Community Road - With Focus on Seoul Metropolitan City)

  • 우리나라의 인구 10만명당 차대사람 사망자 수는 OECD평균보다 약 3배 높고, 특히 생활도로에서 60% 이상 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 보행자 및 차량의 통행실태 조사를 통해 사고원인을 분석하여 생활도로의 실질적인 안전성 증진방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 최근 보행환경은 우측보행 비율이 증가하고, 보행 중 스마트폰 사용자가 증가하는 등 많은 변화가 일어나고 있다. 통행실태 조사결과, 우측보행이 65%로 높고, 보행중 스마트폰 사용율도 17%로 나타났다. Eye Camera 실험을 통한 운전자의 운전부하량은 생활도로가 도시부 도로에 비해 4배 이상 높게 나타났으며, 속도조사 결과 30km/h이상 주행하는 차량이 62%로 높게 나타났다. 생활도로의 사고특성은 가장자리 통행사고 비율이 전체도로 대비 2.3배 높으며, 우측보행 시 사고가 좌측보행 시에 비해 2.5배 더 많고 우측에서 좌측으로 횡단할 때 더 위험한 것으로 분석되었다. 사고원인은 대부분 안전운전불이행(84.4%)이고, 차량이 좌회전할 때 사고가 우회전대비 2.3배 높고 후진사고의 비율이 14%로 높게 나타났다. 생활도로에서는 운전자가 일반도로에 비해 4배 이상 많은 운전집중력을 가져야하기 때문에 차량을 등지고 보행하거나 부주의한 행동을 하는 것은 사고로 이어질 개연성이 큰 것으로 분석되었다.

Assessment of Universal Design for Seoullo 7017 in Seoul, Korea - Using a New Seven Universal Design Principles -

  • The purpose of this research is to evaluate Seoullo 7017 based on Universal Design (UD) principles and guidelines. To derive UD principles applicable to the site context, we used the 2017 Seoul Universal Design Guideline and assessment index provided by the Universal Design Research Center and established 11 evaluation criteria. With respect to research methods, a literature review and on-site field survey were applied, through which we derived UD principles and evaluation criteria to identify UD problems. The 11 evaluation criteria consist of pedestrian space, facilities, access, main entrance, parking lots, trails, restrooms, convenience facilities, information facilities, rest areas, and playgrounds, and these were associated with UD principles for evaluation. As a result, the main entrance had the highest UD score, while parking lots had the lowest in terms of equity, safety, simplicity, and accessibility. Restrooms received a lower UD score because of poor conditions of security and alert systems. Rest areas were found to be uncomfortable for disabled people. With respect to the internal trails, we found the lack of braille block and irregular placement of planting pots made blind people uncomfortable when walking. In terms of UD principles, flexibility received the highest score, followed by amenity, equity, simplicity, tolerance, accessibility, and safety. Flexibility received the highest score, owing to the provision of proper information about convenience facilities and trails, while safety received the lowest, based on poor access to parking lots, inadequate paving materials and colors, and a lack of 24-hour security systems. We hope this research contributes to improving the universal design, so that people are not discriminated against in the use of the park in terms of age, sex, or physical disability. We expect the study to help facilitate empirical studies to verify UD principles and provide improved quality of UD for Seoullo 7017.

쇼핑용 복합빌딩의 옥외조명으로 인한 광공해발생 실태조사 (Light Pollution Survey of Outdoor Lighting in Shopping Complex)

  • 우리나라의 경우 최근 경관조명의 중요성을 인식하고 많은 건축물과 광장, 조경, 역사적 모뉴멘트 등에 옥외조명이 설치되고 있다. 특히, 최근 쇼핑용 복합건물들은 옥외조명을 설치함으로써 건물의 인지도를 높이고, 그에 따라 매출을 증대시키고자 한다. 그러나, 대형 쇼핑용 복합빌딩에 옥외조명을 과다하게 설치함으로써 광공해를 발생시키고 있다. 이미 광공해에 대하여 선진외국에서는 조명조례와 광공해대책가이드 등을 제정하여 쾌적한 조명환경을 구축하려고 노력하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 주로 야간에 많이 이용되는 3개의 복합쇼핑 빌딩에 설치된 옥외조명의 광공해의 발생 실태를 조사하였다. 이를 위하여 건물의 표면휘도, 보행도로의 수평면조도 및 연직면조도를 직접 현장에서 측정기구로 측정하여 CIE기준과 비교하였으며, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 전반확산형조명기구가 보행도로에 설치됨으로써 눈부심이 부분적으로 발생하고 있으므로 cut-off 조명기구를 설치할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 건물외관의 옥외조명은 건물의 인지도와 광고를 강조하기 위하여 휘도값을 크게 설계한 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 도로에 면한 건물표면의 측정휘도값이 CIE기준과 비교했을 때 2배정도 높게 나타났으며, 보도의 연직면 조도비도 권장값보다 크게 나타났다. 아직 우리나라의 경우 광공해에 대한 기준이나 가이드가 없으므로 이에 대한 대책이 절실히 필요하다.

웹기반 교육이 중학생의 교통안전 지식과 태도에 미치는 효과 연구 (The Effectiveness of WBI(Web-Based Instruction) on the Knowledge and Attitude of Traffic Safety among Middle School Students)

  • Korea has the highest traffic accident occurrence rate in the world. It means that we are forced to face a tremendous amount of economic loses and great cost of life. Even though this phenomenon consistently has arose as a public issue every year and many researchers have emphasized the importance of safety education as the fundamental solution, we are still trying to make a long-lasting and effective traffic safety education programs for children and adolescents. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of web-based learning for traffic safety in Korea middle school. For this purpose, the instructive model was constructed based on the ASSURE model and a special web-site of education was developed on behalf of practical use of multi-media learning materials for the traffic safety. The research subject was represented by 259 students from second grade in 2 middle schools located in Seoul Korea. The traffic safety education program using web-site was preceded to the 136 students as a case group for 45 minutes total 3 times. Other 126 students are control group those who did not get with this program. The survey was conducted before and after the education. The results of this study were as follow: 1. The knowledge analysis from the comparison between before and after of the lesson showed case group and control group scored average at 11.25 points and 10.97 points. However, after they attended programs, case group scored 13.57 points and control group scored 10.85 points. The difference from the result of the case group was statistically significant(p<0.001). 2. The attitude analysis from the comparison between before and after of the lesson showed case group and control group scored averages at 29.59 points and 28.21 points. However, after they attended program, case group scored 37.23 points and control group scored 32.71 points. The difference from the result of the case group was statistically significant(p<0.05). 3. Regarding the domain analysis by means of web-based traffic safety education, only the case group had a statistically significant score in the case of knowledge 'safe utilization of bicycle' and 'The Characteristic of Automobile and Safer Mode of Walking for Pedestrian'(p<0.01, p< 0.001), and in the case of attitude 'safe walking and crossing' 'The Characteristic of Automobile and Safer Mode of Walking for Pedestrian'(p<0.01, p<0.001). 4. Web based instruction for traffic safety was effective in terms of improving students' knowledge and attitude for traffic safety.

국립중앙극장 리모델링 조경설계 (Landscape Design for Remodeling of the National Theater of Korea)

  • Ihis landscape design was proposed for the Remodeling for the National Theater of Korea Competition. Today, the National Theater of Korea, located in Jangchoongfong, Joong-gu, Seoul, asks plans for renovation. The landscape design for the remodeling of the theater is conducted as part of comprehensive programs for its renovation. The Government sought design proposals through a design competition in April, 2002. The authors proposed a landscape design for remodeling the National Theater of Korea and won first place in the competition. The landscape design covers the following a survey of the present status, a site analysis, a schematic design, and design, development. In the authors'design, heavens, humans, earth and nature are symbolically expressed within the site. The outdoor spaces of the National Theater of Korea are organically composed of the following low spaces : 1) a field of creation; 2) a field of recreation; 3) a field of meeting; and 4) a field of contemplation. The field of creation consists of a main entrance, spaces for public performance and plays, spaces with symbolic water features, and resting areas. The field of recreation is composed of various exhibition spaces. The field of meeting consists of traditional Korean-style gardens and an outdoor cafeteria. The field of contemplation features lawns, grasses and trees, and provides an area for pedestrian strolling. The outdoor spaces of the National Theater of Korea would produce an atmosphere suited to a cultural and artistic place. In the spaces, people would perceive a unique sense of place through various types of fountains, pergolas, columns, walls, light poles and bollards. An example of the true meaning of a cultural space and a resting place is provided in these spaces. The renovated National Theater of Korea would be a new type of theater with regional context, cultural meaning, spatial identity, various amenities with symbolic images, function and beauty.

가로경관에 환경조형물이 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 서울 테헤란로를 중심으로 (A Study on the Influence of Sculpture For Street Landscape Design -Focusing on Teheran-Ro in Seoul -)

  • 본 연구는 환경조형물이 건축물을 위한 단순한 장식 이상의 것이며 공공성을 가진 미술 작품으로서 가로환경의 디자인을 향상시키는 중요한 수단 중 하나라는 시각에서 출발하였다. 환경조형물은 설치장소와 밀접한 관계를 가지며 시각적 대상으로 주변 환경과 장소적 맥락을 가지는 요소로 파악 가능하다. 현장조사의 대상 지는 강남의 중심적인 업무지역이며 대규모 건축물이 집중되어 있는 테헤란로의 삼성역과 선릉역 사이 구간의 가로변에 위치한 28개 환경조형물에 대해 전수조사 하였다. 이들 환경조형물과 가로경관과의 상관관계에 따라 각각 건축물, 보행자, 조형물의 시점에서 분석하였으며, 가로 경관과의 상관성을 해석하였다. 그 결과 환경조형물이 가로경관과 주변 장소성에 영향을 미치기 위해서는 조형물 주변에 공간이 확보되어야 하며, 주변의 공간과 결합되는 장소에 설치되어야 한다는 사실을 파악하였다. 환경조형물은 가로의 경관을 조절할 수 있는 요소로 환경디자인의 수단으로 거시적 맥락에서 위치 및 설치방식, 재료 등에 대한 접근이 필요하다.

서울시 유동인구 분포의 공간 패턴과 토지이용 특성에 관한 지리가중 회귀분석 (Geographically Weighted Regression on the Characteristics of Land Use and Spatial Patterns of Floating Population in Seoul City)

  • 본 연구의 핵심적인 목적은 유동인구 분포의 공간 패턴의 영향요인 분석을 위한 공간회귀모형 적용의 효용성을 검토하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울시 유동인구 조사 자료를 활용하여 조사지점별 유동인구의 전역적, 국지적 공간 자기상관 측정을 실시하였다. 그 결과 분석에 적용된 공간자기상관 측도인 Moran's I, Getis-Ord-$Gi^*$ 그리고 Local Moran's I 모두에서 통계적으로 유의한 수준의 공간적 유사성과 이질성이 발견되었다. 이를 근거로 유동인구분포와 토지이용 특성과의 관계를 파악하기 위한 통계적 모형으로 공간회귀모형인 지리가중회귀모형(GWR : Geographically Weighted Regression, 이하 GWR)을 채택하였다. 모형의 설명변수로써 서울시 전체에 대한 400m*400m 격자망기반에 토지이용혼합도, 주거 밀도, 상점밀도, 녹지 밀도와, 추가적으로 각 격자별 버스노선밀도, 교차로 밀도, 교통 결절점 접근성, 평균 도로폭, 평균 보도넓이를 산출 및 집계 하였다. 동일한 방식으로 격자망에 집계된 유동인구 정보와 토지이용 및 교통 특성과의 GWR모형 결과를 Ordinary Least Square(OLS) 분석 결과와 비교한 결과 GWR모형의 주요 통계량 수치에서 개선된 결과를 도출하였다. 또한 구획된 격자망의 각 셀별로 도출된 GWR모형의 추론 결과를 검토한 결과 적용된 설명변수의 유동인구 분포에 대한 효과가 국지적으로 변동하는 양상을 파악할 수 있었다.

도시공간의 물리적 안전과 노인들의 계속 거주와의 관계분석 (The Analysis of the Relationships between Physical Safety in Urban Spaces and Aging in Place)

  • 연구목적 :본 연구는 노인들이 인지하는 거주환경의 물리적 안전과 노인들의 계속 거주 의향과의 관계에 대한 분석을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법 : 연구를 위해 도시공간의 물리적 안전은 옥외공간과 건물의 안전, 보행안전, 교통안전 및 주거안전의 4가지 요소로 구분하였으며 계속거주의향에 대해서는 5점 리커트 척도로 구성하여 서울시거주 65세 이상 노인 411명을 대상으로 서울시 5개 권역별로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 : 분석결과 응답자의 78.6%가 현 지역에서의 계속거주에 좋다고 응답하여 서울의 노인들은 에이징 인 플레이스(Aging in Place)의 경향이 강하다는 것을 알 수 있었으며 서울시 권역별로는 동남생활권, 서북생활권, 서남생활권, 동북생활권, 도심생활권 순으로 계속 거주가 좋다고 응답하였다. 결론 :현재 사는 지역에서 계속 거주하는 것에 대해 좋다고 응답한 비율이 높은 경우, 도시공간의 물리적 안전 전반 뿐 아니라 물리적 안전 요소들의 평균도 높아 물리적 안전이 현 지역에 계속 살고자 하는데 영향을 끼치는 요인이라는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 차후 신도시 조성 혹은 도시 재생의 과정에서 안전한 도시를 조성하는 방안의 일환으로 적용될 수 있을 것이다.

안전의식 측정 척도 개발 연구 : 서울시 일부 중학생을 중심으로 (A Study on the Development of the Measuring Scale of Safety Consciousness)

  • Recently, the industrialized world is suffering from accidents referring from the lack of safety consciousness. According to Korean Safety Regulation Department(1996), students at junior high schools are mostly involved in safety accidents, and this is due to lack of safety consciousness. To prevent these accidents, we need to have safety consciousness and attitude. To make junior high school students who are mostly affected in these accidents act safely, they need to know their level of safety consciousness. The purpose of this study is to develop a guideline of measuring the scale of safety consciousness and analyze the relationship between safety education, accident experiences and safety consciousness. This study is based on a survey of 708 junior high students in Seoul, which was carried out from 12 November, 2001 to 21 November, 2001. 1. The main fields of safety consciousness are home safety, school safety, fire safety, emergency management based on documents. Home safety is again divided into facility safety and livelihood safety, school safety is divided into facility safety, livelihood safety and laboratory safety, traffic safety is divided into pedestrian safety, bicycling safety and public transportation safety, fire safety divided into prevention and escaping during fire breakouts, emergency management safety is divided into general principles and escaping during emergency situations. 2. The primary safety consciousness scale was made according to every field of safety consciousness. A preliminary examination based on the scale and a study of reliance and the factors was held. Based on these results, 27 questions which were concerned to be impairing reliability or lacking in factor were deleted on the secondary safety consciousness scale development The secondary safety consciousness scale which constituted of 73 questions was put into another preliminary study and after analyzing reliability and the factors, 12 questions of low reliabilities were deleted and with these results, the third scale were made consisting of 61 questions. 3. A study based on the third safety scale which is made of 61 questions, were held and with a analysis of the reliability and factors made, the relationship between safety education, accident experience and safety mind were examined. (1) The study of reliability and factors show that Cronbach's coefficient in home safety fields is .7598, in school safety .7924, in traffic safety .8306, in emergency treatment .7775, in fire safety .7247. The questions indicating low reliability were deleted. The factor analysis revealed that home safety is converged on facility safety and livelihood safety. But one question was deleted because it showed incongruence of validity. School safety was converged on facility safety, livelihood safety and laboratory safety. But 2 questions showed incongruence of validity and these were deleted. Traffic safety fields were converged on pedestrian safety, bicycle safety and public transportation safety. One question showing incongruence of validity was deleted. Emergency treatment fields converged on general principles and acting in emergency situations and three questions showing incongruence of validity were deleted. Fire safety was converged on prevention and acting in fire breakouts. Totally, eight questions were removed and the final scale were consisted of 53 questions (2) The 3/sup rd/ grade students scored higher average safety mind scales than 1st graders(p〈.05). And students who had high scores at school tend to have a higher scale than those who do not(p〈.001). (3) Average scale of students who had experience in safety education were higher(p〈.001). Students who had previously been involved in home safety accidents had a low score(p〈.001). This was same to students with experience in school safety accidents(p〈.001). Students with traffic safety accidents and fire safety accidents tend to have a lower scale too(p〈.05, p〈.001).
