This paper presents the ground behaviour of shield TBM lunching area during excavation. In order to perform this study, a scaled model test was carried out in the 1/45 scale for a field tunnel in practice where the tunnel had about 7.8 m diameter at Seoul Metro Line 9 construction site. The test to simulate earth pressure balance (EPB) shield TBM tunnelling at the lunching area was conducted with the developed small scaled shield TBM machine. Measurements were performed during simulation of excavation for total jacking thrust force, ground displacements and pressures. Based on the analysis of simulation results, the stability of ground was verified and evaluated. In particular, the suitable reinforcement range and methods are also suggested. In addition, these results are useful for engineers and technicians to select suitable and serviceable machine operation parameters and reduce environmental influence at all stages of tunnel construction.

This paper deals with the power integration of large urban railway systems to improve regenerative energy utilization. Current regenerative energy utilization is low because there is no special plan for using this energy. If the railway system is integrated with other railway systems, the efficiency is expected to be improved. Through the case studies, to find the realistic effect of integrated operation, real system for the Seoul Metro lines, especially line 5 and 7, had been applied.

본 연구에서는 서울특별시 네트워크 RTK 시스템의 활용 및 Virtual RINEX 실용성 검토를 위해 수행하였다. 네트워크 RTK 시스템의 활용 다양화를 위해서는 NTRIP을 통하여 타기관의 사용자 시스템으로 실시간 전송, 시설물의 변위에 대한 GNSS로 모니터링 방법, GNSS Internet Radio Client와 Radio Modem을 이용한 RTK측위를 소개하고, Virtual RINEX 실용성 검토는 VRS RTK 측위 결과와 이동국 측위 지점에 대한 Virtual RINEX 데이터의 후처리 성과를 비교하였다. 그 결과, Virtual RINEX와 GPS 관측 성과는 거의 동일하여 향후 Virtual RINEX도 후처리 데이터로 사용할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였고, VRS RTK 측위 성과는 Virtual RINEX 후처리 성과와 수 mm 이내 차이를 보여 산출된 성과가 거의 같음을 확인할 수 있었다.

Gyeong-bu railway line in Korea between Seoul and Cheon-an was built as two double tracks. A four-display signaling system, only for the metro line, was installed on the second double track so KTX and conventional trains can only operate on the first double track. This study suggests a method to allow KTX and conventional trains operated on the five-display signaling system to respond to accidents and track defects on the second double-track under the four-display signal system by means of problem analysis, calculation of breaking distances for KTX and conventional trains at each break mode, and improvement of the ATS system.

The primary objective of this survey is to find out how New-Generation Consumers' preferences to wedding housing leisure facilities and nursing facilities are different by their socio-demographic and economic characteristics. 1,227 New-Generation Consumers in Seoul and its metro-politan area whose ages are greater than 20 years and less than 35 years and whose marital periods are less than 4 years are selected for emperical study. The findings show that the trends of New-Generation consumers' preferences are variety high-quality community-concept and openess et al. and nursing should be segmented by consumers' characteristics. In addition the findings suggest that consumer education for New-Generation Consumers and their parents should be performed according to desirable and socilly conscious consumption.

This study examines how CEO leadership influences employee trust, job satisfaction, and commitment in fashion companies. A survey was conducted from June 17 to July 15 in 2009. The data were collected from fashion company employees in the Seoul metro area and 360 respondents were used in the data analysis. The statistical analysis methods were frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are the transactional leadership of CEOs in fashion companies classified by contingent reward leadership and management through exceptional leadership. The transformational leadership of CEOs in fashion companies is classified by charismatic leadership and individualized consideration leadership. Second, CEO's contingent reward leadership, charismatic leadership, and individualized consideration leadership influence employee trust in the CEO. Third, the employee trust in the CEO has an effect on job satisfaction and commitment in fashion companies.

DC traction system generates leakage current because running rails are used in return circuit. And it is very important to estimate the leakage current to the train operation situation. Therefore this paper presents dynamic simulation technique that is very similar to the real operation situation using TPS and PSCAD/EMTDC. For this we model DC traction system included in DC substation, variable feeding circuit model and variable train model. And we extract train location and power using TPS program and use these data for dynamic simulation. Finally we can estimate leakage current to the various operation condition using dynamic simulation.

In this paper, proper length of neutral section and neutral section system configuration is proposed to minimize accidents if ATO urban railway vehicle stops maintaining the leading vehicles in air section at regular intervals. When considering the minimum voltage sensing of power conversion unit in the urban railway vehicle, the effective length of 14,280[mm] with neutral section can be minimized damage due to high current because the urban railway vehicle is very little present chance compare neutral section with pantograph interval installed on a unit vehicle. In addition, uplift of catenary line and contact wire consider to minimize damage. The result of theoretical review, as the proposed neutral section shorter, isolated neutral section is effective than the integrated neutral section.

This paper derives the gravity equation with intermediate goods trade. We extend a standard monopolistic competition model to incorporate intermediate goods trade, and show that the gravity equation with intermediates trade is identical to the one without it except in that gross output should be used as the output measure instead of value added. We also show that the output elasticity of trade is significantly underestimated when value added is used as the output measure. This implies that with the conventional gravity equation, the contribution of output growth can be substantially underestimated and the role of trade costs reduction can be exaggerated in explaining trade expansion, as we demonstrate for the case of Korea's trade growth between 1995 and 2007.

This paper presents the methodology which analyze the effect of harmonics in power system. Considering the effect of less-harmonics, economic life and system loss, we have made the comprehensive countermeasure. According to the results of studying harmonics diagnosis and countermeasure, the following problems are pinpointed: protection of power system double investment space of the field.
