고감도 sub-ppm 수준의 다공성 CuO/In2O3나노구조 트리메틸아민 가스센서 (Highly Sensitive sub-ppm level Trimethylamine Gas Sensor Based on Porous CuO/In2O3 Nanostructures )

  • Trimethylamine (TMA) is an organic amine gas that serves as a key indicator for evaluating the freshness of seafood. We synthesized a highly sensitive trimethylamine (TMA) sensor based on porous indium oxide (In2O3) nanoparticles (NPs) loaded with CuO in the range of 6.7 to 28.4 at.%. CuO was loaded by hydrazine reduction onto as prepared In2O3 NPs using the microwave irradiation method. Crystal structures, morphologies, and chemical composition of CuO/In2O3 nanostructures (NSs) were characterized by X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The response of the 23.8 at.% CuO/In2O3 to 2.5 ppm TMA at 325℃ was 5.7, which was 2.8 times higher than that of porous In2O3 NPs. The high sensitivity and selective detection of TMA were attributed to electronic interactions between CuO and In2O3 and the high catalytic activity of CuO to TMA. Altogether, this CuO/In2O3 sensor could be used in the future to detect low concentrations of TMA, thereby aiding in the storage and distribution of marine food resources.

Land cover classification using LiDAR intensity data and neural network

  • LiDAR technology is a combination of laser ranging, satellite positioning technology and digital image technology for study and determination with high accuracy of the true earth surface features in 3 D. Laser scanning data is typically a points cloud on the ground, including coordinates, altitude and intensity of laser from the object on the ground to the sensor (Wehr & Lohr, 1999). Data from laser scanning can produce products such as digital elevation model (DEM), digital surface model (DSM) and the intensity data. In Vietnam, the LiDAR technology has been applied since 2005. However, the application of LiDAR in Vietnam is mostly for topological mapping and DEM establishment using point cloud 3D coordinate. In this study, another application of LiDAR data are present. The study use the intensity image combine with some other data sets (elevation data, Panchromatic image, RGB image) in Bacgiang City to perform land cover classification using neural network method. The results show that it is possible to obtain land cover classes from LiDAR data. However, the highest accurate classification can be obtained using LiDAR data with other data set and the neural network classification is more appropriate approach to conventional method such as maximum likelyhood classification.

Carbon fiber 후막형 열전센서 소자를 이용한 적외선 체열진단 (The Method of Thermograph using Thermoelectric Sensor Device in the Carbon fiber Thick Films)

  • Thick films of carbon fiber were prepared by a heating element of plan shape made in Darin co., We have investigated surface morphology of the specimen depending on heat-treatment temperatures. Scanning electron microscope(SEM) image of carbon fiber thick films of the specimen heat treated shows a grain growth at $1200^{\circ}C$ and becomes a poly-crystallization at $1350^{\circ}C$. The variation of resistivity at the thermally annealed specimen above $600^{\circ}C$ depends on type of the substrates. It may be due to a variation of film thickness and a difference of interfacial phenomena. A heating element of features was affected significantly by skin blood and quantity of heat of the body physiological function. After radiation of farinfrared for plate heating element, the function of biometric physiological is considered of skin blood flow and calorie which greatly affects on individuals. Electromagnetic wave was not influence on the body.

치석 진단용 소형 프로브 기반 광간섭단층촬영 시스템 (A Handheld Probe Based Optical Coherence Tomography System for Diagnosis of Dental Calculus)

  • Optical coherence tomography(OCT) is a noninvasive optical imaging tool for biomedical applications. OCT can provide depth resolved two/three dimensional morphological images on biological samples. In this paper, we integrated an OCT system that was composed of an SLED(Superluminescent Light Emitting Diode, ${\lambda}_0$=1305 nm bandwith= 141 nm), a reference arm adopting a rapid scanning optical delay line(RSOD) to get high speed imaging, and a sample arm that used a micro electro mechanical systems(MEMS) scanning mirror. The sample arm contained a compact probe for imaging dental structures. The performance of the system was evaluated by imaging in-vivo human teeth with dental calculus, and the results indicated distinct appearance of dental calculus from enamel, gum or decayed teeth. The developed probe and system could successfully confirm the presence of dental calculus with a very high spatial resolution($6{\mu}m$).

  • Thick films of Carbon fiber were prepared by a heating element of plan shape made in Darin co.. We have investigated surface morphology of the specimen depending on second heat-treatment temperatures. X-ray diffraction patterns of Carbon fiber thick films show that the specimen heat treated below $600^{\circ}C$ was an amorphous phase and the one heat treated above $1100^{\circ}C$ forms a poly-crystallization. Scanning electron microscope(SEM) image of Carbon fiber thick films of the specimen heat treated in between 900 and $1100^{\circ}C$ shows a grain growth. At $1100^{\circ}C$, the specimen stops grain-growing and becomes a poly-crystallization.

  • Not merely running at the designated constant speed as the classical cruise control, the adaptive cruise control (ACC) maintains safe headway distance when the front is blocked by other vehicles. One of the most essential part of ACC System is the range sensor which can measure the position and speed of all objects in front continuously, ignore all irrelevant objects, distinguish vehicles in different lanes and lock on to the closest vehicle in the same lane. In this paper, the hierarchical object recognition algorithm (HORA) is proposed to process raw scanning laser data and acquire valid distance to target vehicle. HORA contains two principal concepts. First, the concept of life quantifies the reliability of range data to filter off the spurious detection and preserve the missing target position. Second, the concept of conformation checks the mobility of each obstacle and tracks the position shift. To estimate and predict the vehicle position Kalman filter is used. Repeatedly updated covariance matrix determines the bound of valid data. The algorithm is emulated on computer and tested on-line with our ACC vehicle.

초음파를 이용한 물체 부상 이송시스템의 진동 특성 해석 (An Analysis of Vibration Characteristics in Ultrasonic Object Levitation Transport System)

  • In the semiconductor and optical industry, a new transport system which can replace the conventional transport systems is required. The transport systems are driven by the magnetic field and conveyer belts. The magnetic field may damage semiconductor and the contact force may scratch the optical lens. The ultrasonic wave driven system can solve these problems. In this semiconductor and optical industry, the non-contact system is required fur reducing the damages. The ultrasonic transportation is the solution of the problem. In this paper, the ultrasonic levitation system fur levitating object are proposed. The 3D vibration profiles of the beam are measured by Laser scanning Vibrometer fur verifying the vibration characteristics of the system and the amplitudes of the beam and the levitation heights of object are measured for evaluating the performance.

영상의 물리적 센서모델을 이용한 RPC 모델 추출 (RPC Model Generation from the Physical Sensor Model)

  • IKONOS 2호와 QuickBird 2호의 센서 모델로서 제공되는 RPC(rational polynomial coefficients) 모델은 물리적 센서 모델의 대체 모델로 다양한 센서에 적용 가능하다. 고해상도 위성들이 상용화되면서 각기 센서들의 복잡성과 보안성 문제로 인해 물리적 센서모델을 대체할 수 있는 센서 모델로서 RPC의 활용도가 높아지고 있다. 대표적인 상업용 고해상도 위성인 IKONOS 2호는 물리적 센서 모델을 공개하지 않고 각영상에 대한 RPC만을 제공하며 QuckBird 영상은 센서의 기하 정보와 함께 RPC를 제공한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 물리적 센서모델로부터 RPC를 추출하는 원천 기술을 확보하고 RPC의 물리적 센서모델에 대한대체 적합성을 평가해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 공간해상도가 높은 항공사진과 국내 위성인 KOMPSAT 1호의 기하 모델로부터 분모식과 차수를 달리하는 RPC모델들을 추출하는 실험을 수행하였다. 최소제곱법을 통해 RPC 초기값을 구하고 Levenberg Marquardt 기법을 이용하여 반복 조정한 RPC를 물리적 센서 모델과 비교 평가하여 최적의 RPC를 결정하였다. 그 결과 항공사진은 분모식이 동일한 1차 RPC가 KOMPSAT 1호는 분모식이 상이한 3차 RPC가 가장 정확도가 높았으며 각 오차(RMSE)는 $2{\times}10^{-5}$ 화소 이하로 나타났다.

레이저스캔 센서를 이용한 유두위치인식에 관한 기초연구 (The Basic Study of Position Recognition Cow-teats Used Scanning Range Finder)

  • 본 연구는 로봇 착유시스템의 유두인식을 위한 기초연구로 레이저 스캔 센서를 이용하여 모형유두의 위치정보를 획득 및 분석하고 이를 통하여 로봇 착유시스템에 적용가능성을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 실제유두와 같은 모양과 크기의 모형유두를 제작하였으며, 각 모형의 재질에 따른 특성을 파악하고 센서의 거리에 따른 오차, 각도에 따른 오차를 분석하였다. 또한 4개 유두모형을 이용하여 각 유두의 2차원 거리정보를 동시에 획득하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 모형유두의 재질선택을 위한 실험에서 손가락의 경우 거리오차가 최대 4.3 mm, 최소 1.3 mm, 평균 2.8 mm로 가장 작게 나타났으며, 고무재질의 모형유두가 평균 4.3 mm로 나타나 모형유두로 가장 적합한 것으로 판단되었다. 2. 거리에 따른 오차는 기준거리 100 mm에서 가장 크게 나타났으며, 거리가 증가할수록 감소하다 300 mm를 지나 다시 증가한 후 다시 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 3. 각도별 오차는 $170^{\circ}$에서 10.1 mm로 최대오차가 발생하였으며, $70^{\circ}$일 때 0.2 mm로 최소 오차를 나타내었다. 각도에 따른 오차는 특별한 경향을 나타내지 않는 것으로 판단되었다. 4. 4개 모형유두에 대한 2차원 위치오차를 측정한 결과 거리오차의 경우 최소 3.8 mm, 최대 7.2 mm로 나타났으며, 각도 오차는 최대 $1.2^{\circ}$로 오차가 발생한 것으로 나타났다. 모든 오차가 센서 정밀도 내에 포함되며, 센서의 측정 속도와 착유컵의 구멍크기 등을 고려해 볼 때 로봇 착유시스템을 위한 유두의 거리측정에 적용이 가능할 것으로 판단되었다.
