그러므로, 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 STREAM(STanford stREam datA Manager)을 확장한 공간 DSMS를 설계 및 구현하였다. 특히, 상호운용성을 위하여 OGC(Open Geospatial Consortium)에서 제시한 Simple Features Specification for SQL을 구현하였고, GEOS(Geometry Engine Open Source)의 알고리즘을 본 시스템에 적용하였다.
The use of mobile agents for collaborative processing in wireless sensor network has gained considerable attention. This is when mobile agents are used for data aggregation to exploit redundant and correlated data. The efficiency of agent-based data aggregation depends on the agent migration scheme. However, in general, most of the proposed schemes are centralized approach-based schemes where the sink node determines the migration paths for the agents before dispatching them in the sensor network. The main limitations with such schemes are that they need global network topology information for deriving the migration paths of the agents, which incurs additional communication overhead, since each node has a very limited communication range. In addition, a centralized approach does not provide fault tolerant and adaptive migration paths. In order to solve such problems, we have proposed a distributed approach-based scheme for determining the migration path of the agents where at each hop, the local information is used to decide the migration of the agents. In addition, we also propose a local repair mechanism for dealing with the faulty nodes. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme performs better than existing schemes in the presence of faulty nodes within the networks, and manages to report the aggregated data to the sink faster.
In now days, Ubiquitous technology grow up, so the variety service are developed. Sensor networks purpose is collection information about environment and geographic. But sensor network has limit in power, cost and so on. There is much restriction. Some sensor networks purpose is monitoring environment. And there is some relation in sensing data. Sensor nodes sense information by periods. First sensing data correlate with next sensing data. At this point, this paper suggest power saving method. Some data are same, the other data are similar.
본 논문에서는 WSN(wireless sensor networks)과 RFID(radio frequency identification) 시스템을 통합하여 이용할 수 있는 통합 RFID 미들웨어에서의 효과적인 캐슁 기법을 제시한다.
The sensor system to measure the distance precisely from the center of the sensor system to the obstacle is needed to recognize the surrounding environments, and the sensor system is to be calibrated thoroughly to get the range information exactly. This study covers the calibration of the active range sensor which consists of camera and laser slit emitting device, and provides the equations to get the 3D range data. This can be possible by obtaining the extrinsic parameters of laser slit emitting device through image processing the slits measured during the constant distance intervals and the intrinsic parameters from the calibration of camera. The 3D range data equation derived from the simple geometric assumptions is proved to be applicable to the general cases using the calibration parameters. Also the exact 3D range data were obtained to the object from the real experiment.
In this study, we propose a compensation method of raw LiDAR data with noise and noise filtering for signal processing of LiDAR sensors during the development phase. The raw LiDAR data include constant errors generated by delays in transmitting and receiving signals, which can be resolved by LiDAR signal compensation. The signal compensation consists of two stage. First one is LiDAR sensor calibration for a compensation of geometric distortion. Second is walk error compensation. LiDAR data also include fluctuation and outlier noise, the latter of which is removed by data filtering. In this study, we compensate for the fluctuation by using the Kalman filter method, and we remove the outlier noise by applying a Gaussian weight function.
Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) is an effective technique that is commonly used for detecting noise in collected data of an individual sensor. In addition, the detection accuracy can be significant improved by exploiting the correlation in the data of neighboring sensors of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Principal component analysis is the powerful technique to analyze the correlation in the multivariate data. In this paper, we propose a DWT-PCA combination scheme for noise detection (DWT-PCA-ND). Experimental results on a real dataset show a remarkably higher performance of DWT-PCA-ND comparing to conventional PCA scheme in detection of noise that is a popular anomaly in collected data of WSN.
Sensors are deployed to gather physical, environmental data in sensor networks. Depending on scenarios, it is often assumed that it is difficult for batteries to be recharged or exchanged in sensors. Thus, sensors should be able to process users' queries in an energy-efficient manner. This paper proposes a spatial query processing scheme- Minimum Bounding Area Based Scheme. This scheme has a purpose to decrease the number of outgoing messages during query processing. To do that, each sensor has to maintain some partial information locally about the locations of descendent nodes. In the initial setup phase, the routing path is established. Each child node delivers to its parent node the location information including itself and all of its descendent nodes. A parent node has to maintain several minimum bounding boxes per child node. This scheme can reduce unnecessary message propagations for query processing. Finally, the experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
Recent developments in Smart Structures with very large scale embedded sensors and actuators have introduced new challenges in terms of data processing and sensor fusion. These smart structures are dynamically classified as a large-scale system with thousands of sensors and actuators that form the musculoskeletal of the structure, analogous to human body. In order to develop structural health monitoring and diagnostics with data provided by thousands of sensors, new sensor informatics has to be developed. The focus of our on-going research is to develop techniques and algorithms that would utilize this musculoskeletal system effectively; thus creating the intelligence for such a large-scale autonomous structure. To achieve this level of intelligence, three major research tasks are being conducted: development of a Bio-Inspired data analysis and information extraction from thousands of sensors; development of an analytical technique for Optimal Sensory System using Structural Observability; and creation of a bio-inspired decision-making and control system. This paper is focused on the results of our effort on the first task, namely development of a Neuro-Morphic Engineering approach, using a neuro-symbolic data manipulation, inspired by the understanding of human information processing architecture, for sensor fusion and structural diagnostics.
