The recent change of social environment has influence on the configuration of space for the social welfare center. And so the relation of space and function required the change of spatial configuration. The social welfare center fills the role of family welfare, domiciliary care, community organization etc. In such sence, this study explore the conditions of spatial configuration for the domiciliary and community care unit of social welfare centers in small city. For this study, it was investigated the space role and funtion, the service program, the usage characteristics, the room satisfaction of social workers. In sum, the useful data were collected, analyzed, and colligated by case study. It could be used in the design criteria of domiciliary care unit for the social welfare center in small city.

Dental implant is increasingly used to recover the mastication function of tooth. Several types of implant were designed to give an optimal stress distribution in surrounding bony regions. In this study, six types of implant were investigated using finite element method and it was studied i) how the variation of cortical bone thickness affects the stress distribution in surrounding bony regions depending upon implant types, ii) which type gives the best characteristics in the sence of stress distribution and stability. The hybrid-type implant with cylinder and screw gave the optimum properties in view of stability and response to the variation of cortical bone thickness.

Purpose. This study conducted visual function training for children under 12 years of age who relapsed after surgery for intermittent exotropia. We are trying to find out whether the visual function has been improved by visual function training. Methods. After surgery, the subject with recurrent exotropia was given a prescription for refractive error, followed by visual function training and vision therapy with visual sence using prisms and lenses. Results. The subjects' positive relative convergence improved to 19.69𝚫, corrected visual acuity improved to 0.88, and stereoscopic vision function improved to 53.08 arc second. It was found that the smaller the angle of deviation at the time of recurrence after surgery, the better the vision therapy effect. Conclusions. It can be seen that visual function training is helpful in improving visual function, and the importance of visual function training can be known.

In this paper, we present a multi-class image scene classification method based on map learning. We were able to learn from the convolutional neural network model in the dataset, classify facial scene images of multiclass people, and classify the optimized CNN model into the Google image dataset in the experiment with significant results.

The purpose of this study was to survey clinical dental hygienists for their perceived ethical dilemma and professionalism. The subjects in this study were 393 dental hygienists who randomly selected worked in dental clinics. After a survey was conducted, the collected data were analyzed with a SPSSWIN 18.0 program. The findings of the study were as follows: Dental hygienists perceived ethical dilemma scored 2.46 on a 5-point scale on average. In view of its sub-areas, the sub-areas which scored highest was 'dental hygienist with the profession'(2.62), followed by 'dental hygienist with object'(2.41) and 'dental hygienist with coworker'(2.34) in their order. Dental hygienists perceived professionalism scored 3.28 on a 5-point scale on average. In view of its sub-areas, the sub-areas which scored highest was 'sence of public service'(3.55), followed by 'autonomy'(3.42), 'reference professional group'(3.14) and 'sence of mission'(3.01) in their order. In regard to the relationship of the general characteristics to professionalism, those who were older, whose career was longer, whose education was highest and who were married were statistically significantly ahead of their counterparts in that aspect. In relation to factors affecting professionalism, longer career and higher education had a better impact on professionalism. Those factors made a 13% prediction of that.

In the experiment, gene actions were analyzed for seven silkworm varieties in order to obtain basic information on their genetic improvement by diallel crosses. The results obtained were summarized as follows : in analysis of variance, significantly maternal and reciprocal effects were observed for all character except female cocoon shell percentage and female pupal weight. Over-dominance was shown by Vr-Wr graphic analysis in three characters such as female cocoon weight, female and male pupal weight, and partial dominance in five characters such as male cocoon weight, cocoon shell percentage in both female and male. Component of genetic varience analyzed for five characters such as male cocoon weight, cocoon shell weight, cocoon shell percentage in both female and male showed that additive effects were higher than dominant effects, and female cocoon weight showed dominant effects higher than additive effects. Heritability of narrow sence was higher more than 0.51 and heritability of broad sence was higher more than 0.77 in all characters except for female pupal weight. The directions of dominance were negative for female cocoon shell weight and somewhat higher for female and male cocoon shell percentage. Meanwhile cocoon weight, pupal weight in both female and male showed positive in the direction of dominance.

Meaning of expressive words on the beauty of clothing is to comprehend inclusively with subjectivity and sensitivity. Suppose that meaning of the words was analysed, the study would be found type structural through a type of meaning component and inner reciprocity of elements. Category in the Beauty of Clothing was to consider various languages on beauty of clothing as the concept of the type. The purpose of this study was to clarify the concept structure of Categories in the Beauty of Clothing. In this paper 'Chic' and 'Dandism' were analyzed. As the result of the study, it is constructed at three different dimensions. They were the Beauty of phenomenone such as surface level, the Beauty of essence such as element level, and the Beauty of process that existed between the surface level and the element level. In addition, the idea words of each dimension were as follows; The Beauty of phenomenone was expressed 'refinement', 'wisdom' and 'originality'. The Beauty of essence was included 'subtlely', 'grace', and 'sence/reason'. The Beauty of process was included the method of 'harmony' and 'proficiency'.

This study focuses on the sportism expressed in the modern fashion. Many factors attribute to the advent of sportism such as rapid development and cultural changes toward sports, increase in leisure time, new fashion materials resulting from new technologies, youth culture and postmodernism. Designers gazing into the future are inspired by the details and functionality of clothing for snow boarding, skiing, rock-climbing and fitness. While the sportswear is the term whith stemmed from the need for functionally in sports, the Sportism is the style inspired by the formative elements, that is, the details, the silhouette, and the colors of the sportswear. New technologies for sports, the powerful influence of youthful culture, and the celebritizations of the sports stars made the sports look more popular. It can be categorized into three aesthetic values, i.e., the functional sportism, the street sportism, and the futuristic sportism. The functional sportism is expressed with the details of function, simplicity, and no useless ornament, the street sportism with fun, androgynous and unisex mode and the image of hip-hop look and traditional look, the futuristic sportism with new high tech fabrics and cyber style. The characters of these are a sence of unisex, sensualness, ostentation, renovation.

In this paper, the performance of a Carrier Sense Multiple Access/Collision avoidance (CSMA/CA) protocol using stop-and-Wait automatic Repeat reQuest, which is adapted as a draft standard in IEEE 802.11, is analyzed using a mathematical method based on a renewal theory, and simulation checks are performed, which confirm the goodness of our anlysis. In order to anlayze of CSMA/CA, we model that network is composed of finite populationand channel is slotted. And, we consider the CSMA/CA protocol as a hybrid protocol of 1-persistent CSMA and p-persistent CSMA protocol. As resuls of analysis, we have found that the throughput is degraded and packet delay is increased as the number of stations, Acknowledgement (ACK) length and Distributed coordination function Inter Frame Space (DIFS) length are increased.

The cultural production of meanings is becoming more and laden with the intricacies of signs and symbols in our times. The idea of 'character' is important as an intermediation for information and an essential characteristic of "the object" experienced through the sence of sight. Character is symbolicin its form but also in its iconic markings. Motion Picture Animation makes Character not just an expression of an image but visual communication that expands the action of meaning piled up, sign upon sign. The analysis of 'character' suggests that motion picture animated characters could play an important role as a cultural mode leading to new styles not merely as an aesthetic mechanism. The study there with analyzed animated character systematically to discem where the sign phenomena shows up in social conventions under the semiotic rigor of Peirce's concepts of icon, index, and symbol.
