최신 네트워크 응용 분류를 위한 자동화 페이로드 시그니쳐 업데이트 시스템 (Automatic Payload Signature Update System for Classification of Recent Network Applications)

  • 오늘날 네트워크 자원을 사용하는 응용이 증대되면서 네트워크 관리를 위한 트래픽 분석에서 현재 연구 단계의 한계가 드러나고 있다. 그런 한계를 해결하기 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있는데 그 중 대표적인 연구인 시그니쳐 자동생성 연구는 응용 트래픽을 입력으로 트래픽의 공통된 패턴을 찾아 출력하는 과정이 자동화된 연구이다. 그러나 시그니쳐 자동생성 연구는 트래픽을 사용자가 수집해야 하는 반자동 시스템이기 때문에 트래픽 수집 단계에서 문제가 발생할 수 있고, 생성된 시그니쳐의 검증 과정이 포함되어있지 않기 때문에 시그니쳐의 정확도를 신뢰할 수 없는 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 시그니쳐 자동생성 시스템의 한계를 극복하기 위해 트래픽수집, 시그니쳐 생성, 시그니쳐 검증, 시그니쳐 관리까지 모든 과정이 자동으로 이루어지는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법을 학내 망의 실제트래픽에 적용하여 추출한 시그니쳐는 분석률을 유지하며, 오탐률을 0으로 만드는 효과를 보였다.

  • Nowadays, automobile manufacturers are faced with increasing global competition which is required low cost as well as high quality. To reduce shipping and handling cost and delivery time, lots of automobile manufactures tried to build their new factory in the neighborhood of market. Simultaneously, many factories are under construction in developing countries to make efficient use of low-wage workers. However, because systems are installed in developing countries as the same type of domestic facilities, systems have lots of problems such as high installation cost and inefficient use of manpower. To find core problems and generate optimal solution of these problems, thinking process of TOC(Theory Of Constrains) is used. In case of transmission gear machining system, semi-auto system is proposed as the best solution to increase manpower efficiency and system utilization. Semi-auto system consists of automatic machining process and manual transporting process. The system layout is generated based on semi-auto process concept. And, 3D simulation method using QUEST is used to verify production volume of generated system.

Parametric Optimization of Vortex Shedder based on Combination of Gambit, Fluent and iSIGHT

  • In this paper, a new framework that works the automatic execution with less design cycle time and human intervention bottlenecks is introduced to optimize the vortex shedder design by numerical integration method. This framework is based on iSIGHT combined with the pre-processor GAMBIT, and flow analysis software FLUENT. Two vortex shedders, circular with slit and triangular- semi circular cylinder, are employed as the designed models to be optimized, and DOE driver is used for optimization. According to the essential properties of a vortex shedder, it has found that the best diameters are 30mm for circular cylinder with slit and 30 to 35 mm for tri-semi cylinder. For slit ratio, 0.1 and 0.15 are the optimized values for circular with slit and tri-semi cylinder respectively. And it is found that these optimal results generated by DOE automated design cycle are in well agreement with the experiment.

  • 광합성세균에 의한 광의존 수소생산에 있어서 상시 가변적인 태양광 이용조건에 대응되는 자동조절 반연속배양장치를 구성하였다. 이는 pulse 발생장치를 설비한 가스메터에 의해 일정의 수소생산량이 측정되면, 수소생산에 소비된 만큼의 기질이 timer와 연결된 정량펌프에 의해 공급될 수 있는 시스템이다. 이 배양장치를 이용하여, 옥외조건에서 Rhodopseudomanas sphaeroides B6의 agar gel 고정화균체에 의한 수소생산 실험을 시도하였다. 일조와 기후의 격심한 변동에도 불구하고 배양이 잘 조절되어 수소생산성이 유지되었다. 이는 광합성세균의 수소생산을 위한 옥외 반연속배양의 자동조절 가능성을 나타내는 것이다.

천연색 항공영상을 이용한 지형요소 반자동 추출에 관한 연구 (A Study on Semi-automatic Feature Extraction Using False Color Aerial Image)

  • 최근 수치사진측량시스템의 도입으로 수치정사영상의 활용도가 높아지고 있으며, 이에 따라 수치정사영상으로부터 지형지물의 반자동 또는 자동 추출에 관한 연구가 대두되고 있지만, 최근 많은 연구보고서에 의하면 흑백항공사진에서의 지형지물을 판단하거나 속성인식에 한계가 있음을 알 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 천연색 항공사진 영상을 흑백항공사진 영상과 비교, 분석하여 천연색 항공사진 영상의 특성을 분석하였으며, 반자동으로 지형요소를 추출하는 알고리즘을 개발하였고, 추출한 지형요소를 국립지리원에서 제작하는 1:5,000 수치지형도와 비교하여 반자동으로 추출가능한 지형요소를 분석하였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 천연색 항공사진영상을 이용한 지형요소 추출 가능성과 지형요소 추출시 문제점을 분석하였고, 향후 연구에 대한 방안을 제시하였다.

경량 온톨로지 생성 연구 (A Study for the Generation of the Lightweight Ontologies)

  • This paper illustrates the application of co-occurrence theory to generate lightweight ontologies semi-automatically. The proposed model includes three steps of a (Semi-) Automatic creation of Ontology; (they are conceptually named as) the Syntactic-based Ontology, the Semantic-based Ontology and the Ontology Refinement. Each of these three steps are designed to interactively work together, so as to generate Lightweight Ontologies. The Syntactic-based Ontology step includes generating Association words using co-occurrence in web documents. The Semantic-based Ontology step includes the Alignment large Association words with small Ontology, through the process of semantic relations by contextual terms. Finally, the Ontology Refinement step includes the domain expert to refine the lightweight Ontologies. We also conducted a case study to generate lightweight ontologies in specific domains(news domain). In this paper, we found two directions including (1) employment co-occurrence theory to generate Syntactic-based Ontology automatically and (2) Alignment large Association words with small Ontology to generate lightweight ontologies semi-automatically. So far as the design and the generation of big Ontology is concerned, the proposed research will offer useful implications to the researchers and practitioners so as to improve the research level to the commercial use.

준 경험 생물막 모델(Semi-Empirical Biofilm Model)을 이용한 BAF 운전평가 및 적정 운전방안 도출 (A Study on Performance Estimation and Operation Strategy of Biological Aerated Filter Using Semi-Empirical Biofilm Model)

  • The objective of this study is to find out whether the developed semi-empirical biofilm model can be applicable to real BAF pilot-scale wastewater treatment. In addition, the optimum operating conditions of BAF as a function of process variables such as organic loading change can be drawn based on the simulation results of model. The results will provide the economic and efficient BAF process design and operating control. As a result, developed semi-empirical biofilm model which is relatively simple compared to mathematical model can simulate three BAF processes consisted of 25 layers within 1 seconds. When this model was used for simulating real pilot scale BAF process and the simulated water quality values were compared to experimental ones, simulated TCOD, SCOD, TN, $NH_4{^+}$-N, $NO_x{^-}$-N, alkalinity values were different to experimental ones within 21%, 20%, 8.1%, 48%, 10%, and 23%, respectively. Therefore, if the BAF system was equipped with automatic control, the BAF process can be better efficiently adapted under the condition of significant change of influent loading.

  • Recent medical robot systems perform surgery operations, by following the preplanned trajectory and surgical procedures. Depending on the complexity of surgery operations, they are operated in manual, semi-automatic or full automatic mode. To improve the performance of those medical robot systems, development of the simulator and more advanced auto-illumination system, in which intensity of light, direction and focal point can be controlled automatically according to the varied environments during surgical operations. are required. Therefore, in this paper, the simulator for SPINEBOT system which is a computer-intergrated robotic surgery system are developed. And further, an auto-illumination system which will be integrated to the SPINEBOT system is investigated and its preliminary design is described.

계곡 추적 Deformable Model을 이용한 반자동 척추뼈 분할 도구의 개발 (Developments of Semi-Automatic Vertebra Bone Segmentation Tool using Valley Tracking Deformable Model)

  • This paper proposes a semiautomatic vertebra segmentation method that overcomes limitations of both manual segmentation requiring tedious user interactions and fully automatic segmentation that is sensitive to initial conditions. The proposed method extracts fence surfaces between vertebrae, and segments a vertebra using fence-limited region growing. A fence surface is generated by a deformable model utilizing valley information in a valley emphasized Gaussian image. Fence-limited region growing segments a vertebra using gray value homogeneity and fence surfaces acting as barriers. The proposed method has been applied to ten patient data sets, and produced promising results accurately and efficiently with minimal user interaction.

광필터 성능평가 프로그램 개발 (Development of Performance and Evaluation Program for Optical Filters)

  • This paper presents a program for the automatic alignment of optical axes and evaluation of the optical filter performance which is a key technologies for the production of optical module. Recently the production of optical filter module mostly depends upon handwork or semi-automation. Moreover, they have used an expensive spectrum analyzer. In this work, we have developed an automatic alignment and evaluation program of optical filter module using photo detector and developed program for automation and cost reduction of the production of optical titter module.
