A researching was performed based on PubMed, including english languages. Any clinical study identified relationship between SBD and TMD were selected in this review. 13 studies were analyzed in this review. According to SBD diagnosis, articles were grouped as follows: polysomnographic diagnosis (n=7), clinical diagnosis (n=2) and survey/self-report (n=4). 12 articles established a positive relation between SBD and TMD and 1 did not. SBD would be associated with protrusion/retrusion degree, myofascial pain, muscular and joint pathology, and other orofacial findings. It was analyzed that the retrusion of the mandible had the significant influence on the severity of the SBD.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate a group activity, reciprocal peer tutoring (RPT), in order to investigate advantages and challenges of RPT in promoting cooperative and collaborative learning environment for EFL University reading instruction. The participants in this study were 89 students taking an English reading course at a Korean university. RPT is a learning strategy whereby learners help each other and learn by teaching. This program was supported by a Vygotskyan perspective which assumes that learners gain mastery and develop cognitive skills through social interaction with more proficient others and their environment. This study relied particularly on participant perceptions through questionnaire survey and Anonymous Online class Report of the course. This study showed various advantages for tutors such as learning through teaching and becoming more autonomous and responsible for their own learning. Non-threatening and highly motivating learning atmosphere are parts of benefits for tutees. Other advantages for tutees included improved level of academic self-confidence, and motivation. This study also revealed several drawbacks associated with the problem of inaccuracy in students' production and students' demand for more direct teacher role. (182 words).

  • The purpose of this study is to consider the importance of residential environment by grasping factors for residential environment, and also grasping the relationship between residential environment stress, residence coping style, and emotional intelligence. Self-report survey and emotional intelligence measuring tool developed by Wong & Law (2000) were conducted in this study to investigate the contents of residential environment stress, residence coping style, and emotional intelligence, and subjects of this study were students of D university. As a result of this study, residential environment stress that respondents recognized was not high, but stress in super ordinate stage of residential desire was higher than that in subordinate stage. Also as the result of conducting correlation analysis of the relationship between residential environment stress, residence coping style, and emotional intelligence, there was insignificant correlation. It is supposed that the result is caused by limited respondents in this study, and it is considered that more reliable analysis with expansive inspection will be required in the future study.
