The purpose of this study was to examine the self-regulation in E-commerce business and review the major issues of self-regulation in several countries. This paper reviewed the legislation for the self regulation of APEC, OECD and EC, and introduced the regulation system for several countries, such as U.S. U.K and Japan. Also, we analyzed the current issues and problems of self-regulation in Korea and tried to suggest the future direction. There were three different regulations such as market forces, government regulation and self-regulation and the model of self-regulations were shaped in various types. Even though the government made the standard regulations for business sector but it was impossible to direct individual firms and their compliance of those regulations. To compensate the government regulation, the self regulation with low cost is needed and also two kinds of regulations has to be unified to enhance the regulation system in E-commerce. Industries should participate for the regulation voluntarily and consumers must give an award of legislation for self-regulation to motivate the self-regulations of industries.

While making a vigorous discussion about self-regulation for exponential growth of harmful health information on the Internet, many countries lave made various efforts to select and circulate high quality health information on the Internet. The purpose of this study Is to review the serf-regulation methods of health information on the Internet and to suggest quality control methods of health information on the Internet suitable for Korea. Self-regulation methods of the health information on the Internet include ‘content rating system(or content selection system)’, ‘codes of conduct or guideline’, ‘internet hot-line’, ‘education for information providers and consumers’. Any self-regulation method should be used with other methods. We can regulate health information on the Internet effectively by using both self-regulation methods and compulsive methods such as law. Also information providers, information consumers, specialists, consumer representatives, scholars, governments officers should take part in doing these efforts and make concern.

The aim of this study is twofold. First, this study aimed to explore how Korean university students' English learning motivation is related to their English listening proficiency and study time. Second, it attempted to interpret the English learning motivation linking the two different motivation theories: self-determination theory and L2 motivational self system. The constructs of the students' L2 learning motivation were investigated with the data obtained through the questionnaire from 122 sophomore students. A factor analysis was conducted to extract the major factors of motivation. As a result, 6 factors were extracted: Intrinsic Pleasure, Identified Value Regulation, Intrinsic Accomplishment, Introjected Regulation, External Regulation, and Identified Regulation. The Interrelatedness among the assessment results on the L2 listening proficiency (pre and post test), listening study time, and motivation factors was measured by correlation coefficients. The statistical results indicated that pre-test scores were significantly related to Identified Regulation and Identified Value Regulation toward English learning, and post-test results had significant correlation with Intrinsic Accomplishment and Identified Regulation. However, no motivation subtypes showed statistical association with the students' listening study time. The results were attempted to be interpreted both under L2 motivational self system and self-determination framework to better illuminate the motivation theory with more explanatory power.

PMIS (Project Management Information System) has been applied in the R4-PROJECT This construction project has been controlled and managed by PMIS for the whole process of project. Moreover, this PMIS is updated to the Self-regulation System for Quality and Safety Management which is integrated and developed from PMIS in R4-PROJECT. So, The Self-regulation System for Quality and Safety Management has been delivering effective communication and information distribution with various stakeholders related to project and also brought the achievement of efficient construction management. As the system is successfully utilize, the satisfaction of costumer request and the performance of no accident for 550 million hours could be attained.

This study aims at presenting practical self regulation system for digital game, especially optimized to Korea through the comparative analysis of system at home and abroad. For this, this study conducted a comparative analysis about various countries adopted self regulation system, such as America, Japan, and European Union. We drew some implications on the Korean practical policy for the digital game. First, self regulation organization should be consisted of market-friendly form. Second, though self regulation organization is a autonomous system of market, the organization should take rights to regulate illegal case. This would be a good way not only to reduce unnecessary institutional regulations but also to take socially image of reliable media. Third, government should provide self regulation organizations financial assist. This policy means that the organizations make a role fairly and objectively.

This study examined if the effect of family functioning on preschoolers' school readiness can be mediated by mothers' affective parenting and preschoolers' self-regulation in the year before children enter elementary school. This study analyzed the 7^th year data of panel study of Korean children collected by the Korean Institute of Child Care and Education. Statistical analysis included 1,513 pairs of 6-year-old children and mothers. Descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, structural equation modeling, and bootstrapping analysis were conducted using SPSS 22 and Amos 20. The primary findings were as follows. First, the sub-factors of preschoolers' school readiness composed of children's social and emotional development, approach to learning, cognitive development and general knowledge, and communication were positively correlated with family functioning, mothers' affective parenting, and preschoolers' self-regulation. Second, the result of structural equation modeling showed that the indirect paths from family functioning to preschoolers' school readiness through mothers' affective parenting and preschoolers' self-regulation were significant, while the direct path was insignificant. Third, bootstrapping analysis showed that mothers' affective parenting and preschoolers' self-regulation fully mediated the relationship between family functioning and preschoolers' self-regulation. The findings provide the grounds for families and parents with preschool aged children to implement effective support practices to maintain a functional family system that can promote preschoolers' school readiness.

According to the progress of an information-oriented society, more human friendly systems are required. The systems can be implemented by a kind of intelligent algorithms. In this paper we propose the possibility of the implementation of an intelligent algorithm from gene, behavior of human beings, which has some properties such as self organization and self regulation. The regulation of gene behavior is widely analyzed by Boolean network. Also the SORE (Self Organizable and Regulating Engine) is one of those algorithms. This paper does not report detailed research results; rather, it studies the feasibility of gene behavior in biocontrol systems based upon computer simulations.

During the past 100 years, Korean fisheries management policies have enforced the license system, it is the most typical regulation system in Korean fisheries. Even now, it has caused resource management failure, it has also invited economic inefficiency and inequity. Accordingly, the Korean government has recently introduced the self-regulatory management system for fishermen with the TAC system. These systems are one of the most market-oriented regulation systems in fisheries management systems. It is defined as regulatory policy tools other than regulations with command and control approach. It is also called “alternatives” which is composed of regulatory alternatives and non-regulatory alternatives. The self-regulatory management system and the ITQ system are cooperative-based co-management between government and fishermen as an alternative management strategy ; it is gaining the increasing attention to improve the effectiveness of fisheries management in Korea. It is expected not only to positively improve function in fisheries regulation, but also to decrease inefficiency in fisheries policies. However, these systems have many problems. The monopolization of rent is one of the typical examples. As solutions for the problem in the aspect of fishery management, fisheries policy is need of approach to industrial organization. For instance, Contestable market theory is one of the good theoretical background, it mean that market is able to free entry and free exit. Thus, fisheries management carry out policies such as revitalization of the used market of capital goods in fisheries, organize of the self-regulatory management group. Conclusively, as the exploiters and managers, fishers and the government should put emphasis on improving economic efficiency so that fishery would grow as an industry that contributes to the increase of social welfare, and the change to that direction will be the only way for our fisheries to preserve its importance.

This paper deals with the performance analysis of static compensator (STATCOM) based voltage regulator for self­excited induction generators (SEIGs) supplying balanced/unbalanced and linear/ non-linear loads. In practice, most of the loads are linear. But the presence of non-linear loads in some applications injects harmonics into the generating system. Because an SEIG is a weak isolated system, these harmonics have a great effect on its performance. Additionally, SEIG's offer poor voltage regulation and require an adjustable reactive power source to maintain a constant terminal voltage under a varying load. A three-phase insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) based current controlled voltage source inverter (CC- VSI) known as STATCOM is used for harmonic elimination. It also provides the required reactive power an SEIG needs to maintain a constant terminal voltage under varying loads. A dynamic model of an SEIG-STATCOM system with the ability to simulate varying loads has been developed using a stationary d-q axes reference frame. This enables us to predict the behavior of the system under transient conditions. The simulated results show that by using a STATCOM based voltage regulator the SEIG terminal voltage can be maintained constant and free from harmonics under linear/non linear and balanced/unbalanced loads.

Purposes : The Purpose of this study was to review a current status on acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine in Canada focusing on the rules of regulatory bodies of 5 states including legislation history, development in professional self-regulation, education and evaluation system. Methods : Based on literature review, we studied on 5 legislated states cases, educational accreditation status and licensure system. We also interviewed on a person who is a chair of CTCMA & CARB-TCMPA and more TCM practitioners in British Columbia within educational topics. Results & Conclusions : Acupuncture legislations have been approved by the governments in Canada between 1988 and 2014 within the acceptance of self-regulation. Since then, regulatory bodies in each states have tried to strengthen their duties and rights as a healthcare professionals. Based on firm laws and regulations, occupational competency-based education in acupuncture and TCM has been gradually improved and established quite well in parallel with a development of higher educational system in Canada.
