Purpose: This study was done to identify degrees of factors influencing parenting self-efficacy in grandmother raising infant and toddler. Method: A convenience sample of 121 grandmothers whose grandchild was between 3 to 36 months old was used. The variables were health status, health problems and life event. The data were collected through a questionnaire survey and descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA with Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression were used to analyze using SPSS WIN 12.0. Results: The average score for parenting self-efficacy was 39.39(SD=5.09), somewhat higher than moderate in level. Factor that was significant in influencing parenting self-efficacy was life event. This factors accounted for 14.6% of explained variance. Conclusions: It was found that the life event was influenced to parenting self-efficacy in grandmothers raising infant and toddler. From this study it is proposed that there is a need to develop programs and policies which support them. Ultimately a good care environment for children will be good for the young children's growth and development.

In this paper, we examine American career self-help advice in the context of white-collar labor market changes in the U.S., especially how it tries to motivate and empower white-collar job seekers and how fundamentally flawed this is. In this regard, we focus on What Color Is Your Parachute? by Richard Nelson Bolles, as it is the foundational and representative literature in the field of career self-help advice. We first look at the white-collar labor market changes in the U.S. and the growth of career self-help advice along with its influence. We then show that What Color Is Your Parachute? seeks to motivate and inspire job seekers by defining job searching in individual terms and overlooking its structural nature. From this, we point out the most problematic aspect of career self-held advice, i.e., shifting job search responsibility as well as its outcome solely to individual job seekers, while also making it difficult to scrutinize and understand the broader context affecting job searching.

In experiment 1, dietary self-selection of the 3 macronutrients, protein, fat, and carbohydrate were examined in male rats given 3 food cups of 80% carbohydrate, 80% protein, and 70% fat diets simultaneously. All the rats showed normal growth pattern and organ weight, which means they have ability to select just right kinds and amounts of nurients in order to support their growth and development. Mean values of caloric intake, body weight gain, serum lipid values and empty carcass compositions were not significantly differ between the upper and lower quartile groups of fat proportion of empty carcass compared to the lower quartile group(LF). Same feeding design was employed in experiment 2 where the effect of mild electric stress on food selection was studied. The rats in both control and electric stress group revealed a normal growth curve and organ weights. The rats in both control and electric stress group revealed a normal growth curve and organ weights. The stress group showed higher caloric intake and body weight gain than control group, but no significant effects of stress on serum and empty carcass components was found. Even though normal rats seemed to select macronutrients according to their physiolosical needs, there were individual differences in food selection whether they were exposed to stress or not. Therefore life long individual food selection pattern may have a great influence on nutritional status and chronic degenerative diseases of eldery, and on aging process.

The growth of internet infrastructure and a tremendous increment of internet users lead actively to found internet newspaper publishing companies, which are able to dig up and publish own news articles. In disregard of these quantitative growth of internet newspaper companies, the qualitative growth of them doesn't coincide with the quantitative growth. Therefore, to require social responsibility and to build healthy media environment, Korean government has put in force registration system of internet newspaper company. According to this system, internet newspaper companies have to produce at the inside over 30 percent of weekly publications, and this requisite increases the needs of its verification. This paper investigates technologies to measure the self-supplied news volumes of internet newspaper company, examines validity of them, and presents appropriate method to measure. To compare huge amount of news articles rapidly, the presented method is based on the modified edit-distance, which reflects human cognition of word and empirical information related with it. To prove correctness of our presented method, we show experimental results for some real internet news articles.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to explore different types of self-rated health trajectories among one-person households in Korea. Methods: We used five time-point data derived from Korea Health Panel (2011~2015). A latent growth curve modeling was used to assess the overall feature of self-rated health trajectory in one-person households, and a latent class growth modeling was used to determine the number and shape of trajectories. We then applied multinomial logistic regression on each class to explore the predicting variables. Results: We found that the overall slope of self-rated health in one-person households decreases. In addition, latent class analysis demonstrated three classes: 1) High-Decreasing class (i.e., high intercept, significantly decreasing slope), 2) Moderate-Decreasing class (i.e., average intercept, significantly decreasing slope), and 3) Low-Stable class (i.e., low intercept, flat and nonsignificant slope). The multinomial logistic regression analysis showed that the predictors of each class were different. Especially, one-person households with poor health condition early were at greater risk of being Low-Stable class compared with High-Decreasing class group. Conclusion: The findings of this study demonstrate that more attentions to one-person households are needed to promote their health status. Policymakers may develop different health and welfare programs depending on different characteristics of one-person household trajectory groups in Korea.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to construct and test a structural model for the Post-traumatic Growth (PTG) of police officers. The conceptual model is based on Calhoun and Tedeschi's PTG theory. Methods: Data were collected from 269 police officers working at 10 police stations in Seoul from September 26 to October 9, 2017. The exogenous variable was traumatic experiences, and endogenous variables were pain perception, self disclosure, social support, deliberate rumination, and PTG. The collected data were analyzed in order to calculate the direct and indirect effects of factors affecting PTG using SPSS/WIN 23.0 and AMOS 21.0. Results: The hypothetical model showed a good fit to the data: 𝑥²/df=2.57, GFI=.90, CFI=.95, TLI=.91, RMSEA=.07, SRMR=.07. The hypothetical model showed a similar result with the data, and out of 10 paths, 7 were statistically significant. The model explained 36% of the variance in the PTG of police officers. The model confirmed that social support and deliberate rumination had a direct effect, and that self-disclosure had an indirect effect on police officers' PTG. Conclusion: Nursing intervention programs to increase PTG of police officers should focus on deliberate rumination, social support, and self-disclosure. In addition, they should be accompanied by various crisis managements and consultations that can promote PTG.

This study is a case study of couple counseling case applying Satir Empirical Growth Model to improve the communication and self - esteem of the sexual offenders who are attached to the electronic devices requested by the representative at the ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ Compliance Support Center. The counseling process was carried out in this center counseling room for 120 minutes from March to June 2017 once a week for 5 times in total. To validate the effects of this study, researchers and observer-centered techniques were used as subjective evaluations. Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions were obtained. The self - esteem and communication change of the subjects with sexual violence electronic devices were found to be positive. This suggests that there is a significant effect in suggesting the possibility of using the marital counseling in the practice of the correctional facility.

Korea's design developed closely related to economic growth and plays a key role in material growth, wealth growth, and consumption promotion today. Of course, it is true that Korea's design level has grown significantly, but it has not reached a trend-leading level. Behind this, it is thought that one of the reasons behind this is that most design companies are biased towards trend research and benchmarking from a supplier perspective, resulting in the creation of design sculptures. If you look at the examples that lead the world's design trends, you can see that their subjective thinking from the author's point of view accounts for a significant portion of design sculpture creation. Through an in-depth interview with designers and artists at both extremes of the spectrum of thought, I want to look at examples of self-expression design development and get implications for suggesting conceptual models of self-expression design sculpture. Through this, a conceptual model was proposed, which is organized into a five-step design creation process in which balanced thinking is achieved by combining the thinking system and process according to the writer's point of view with the majority of design creation dominated by supplier perspective.

Purpose As web 2.0 has taken root in the Internet environment, people began to create specific values to produce and disseminate contents on their own. In order to emphasize the personalized media attributes, the concept of self media was derived. In this paradigm shift, self media has emerged that succeeded in commercializing themselves in social media. Taking advantage of the influence of self media will have a tremendous positive impact on management activities such as marketing strategy, brand promotion, customer retention, and profit growth. This study examines the factors affecting the loyalty of self media in Korea and China because the studies in the area of selfmedia is not enough. Design/methodology/approach This study analyzed what factors influenced the loyalty of self-media in terms of Korea-China comparison. The research model was proposed on the basis of previous research papers. Content value, interactivity, ease of access, self-congruity, sympathy, and reputation were used as independent variables. Trust and satisfaction are used as mediating variables, nationality as moderator variables, and loyalty to self-media as a dependent variable. Results As a result, it was found that all independent variables directly influence the loyalty of self-media except interactivity, and interactivity indirectly influence loyalty through trust and satisfaction. There was a moderating effect of nationality between satisfaction and loyalty, but was not a moderating effect between trust and loyalty.
