The purpose of this study is to classify the elderly over the age of 60 according to their lifestyles and analyze the health and economic status of them that are classified. Data were obtained from 463 elderly living in urban areas. Factor analysis was used for examining dimensions of lifestyles and cluster analysis for classifying the elderly by lifestyles. This study found six different types of lifestyles, Le., the actively self-developing type, the individualist seeing the negative aspects of the world, the sensuous joy oriented type, the obedient to the tradition type, the conservative with discontented attitude toward the world, and the introspective self-fulfilling type. There were significant differences in living status as well as socio-economic characteristics of the elderly among six types of lifestyles. From the results of this study, it is found that the elderly have various lifestyles and, therefore, the understanding the lifestyles of the elderly will enable researchers to capture the problems the elderly face and provide more insight into their living status.

In this study, remote articulation training system which connects the hearing disabled trainee and the speech therapist via B-ISDN is introduced. The hearing disabled does not have the hearing feedback of his own pronuciation, and the chance of watching his speech organs movement trajectory will offer him the self-training of articulation. So the system has two purposes of self articulation training and trainer's on-line checking in remote place. We estimate the vocal tract articultory movements from the speech signal using inverse modelling and display the movement trajectoy on the sideview of human face graphically. The trajectories of trainees articulation is displayed along with the reference trajectories, so the trainee can control his articulating to make the two trajectories overlapped. For on-line communication and ckecking training record the system has the function of video conferencing and tranferring articulatory data.

This article presents the development of a self-report measure of Korean Marital Satisfaction Scale. Based on 'Family Process Model'and interviews with 183 married couple, 3 domain structures with 74 items were identified, which included interactional process, emotional process, and intellectual process. It was administerd to 289 couples to test reliability and validity. Overall reliability coefficients were high for each of the individual domains($\alpha$=.62 to $\alpha$=.93). Face validity, content validity, content validity and concurrent validity respectively were demonstrated good. Additionally, divergent validity with scales of self-esteem and depression was observed. These results support the reliability and psychometric validity of the Korean Marital Satisfaction Scale in the assessment of key dimensions of marital process of Korean couples.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the attitudes and practices of life demanded for authentic existence in adversity, focusing on Toni Morrison's Home which was published in 2012. Home portrays the journey of Frank Money, an African-American veteran of the Korean War who strives to extricate his sister Cee from inhumane violence. Through this work, Morrison criticizes prevalent racism in the 1950s which is regarded as a time of affluence and peace through this sibling's agony. In this paper, firstly I attempt to examine the aspects of racism which Frank and Cee face and their distorted survival strategies. Secondly I try to find the right direction of brother and sister relationship based on Frank and Cee who are compared to Hansel and Gretel. Thirdly I try to point out the importance of self-reflection required for the healing process of Frank and Cee who overcome adversity and restore their identity with the help of Samaritans. And I investigate the possibility of ethical practice going beyond my family to strangers.

In the current study, we explore how women decide whether to accept or reject a potential match offered by a dating app (Tinder). Specifically, we were trying to identify overlying factors that influence the decision and understand how women make a judgment based on limited cues provided by a Tinder profile. Women largely base their decision on the perceived attractiveness and character of the potential match. The findings suggest that attractiveness is highly subjective, with no universal rules that can be quantified; thus, it is hard to predict acceptance of the potential match. There are however factors that contribute significantly to profile rejection, such as a big age difference and the inability to clearly see the face of the person.

본 논문에서는 GAN 과 자기 지도 학습(self-supervised learning)을 통해 입력 얼굴 영상의 공간 해상도를 4 배 증가시키는 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 변형된 StarGAN v2 구조의 생성자와 구분자를 사용하여 저해상도의 입력 영상만을 가지고 학습 과정을 거쳐 고해상도 영상을 복원하도록 자기 지도 학습을 수행한다. 제안하는 기법은 복원된 영상과 고해상도 영상 간의 손실을 줄이는 지도 학습이 가지고 있는 단점을 극복하고 입력 영상만을 가지고 영상 내부에 존재하는 특징을 학습하여 얼굴 영상에 대한 고해상도 영상을 복원한다. 제안하는 기법과 Bicubic 보간법과의 비교를 통해 우수성을 검증한다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine effects of enneagram group counseling program on self-identification and depression in nursing college students. Three groups, categorized by how the students solve their conflicts, were selected to identify changes from the program. Methods: A quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group and pre posttest design was used. Participants were assigned to the experimental group (n=30) or control group (n=33). The experimental group participated in enneagram group counseling program for 38 hours through eight sessions covering four different topics. Collected data were analyzed using Chi-square test, Fisher's exact test, t-test, and Wilcoxon signed rank test. Results: Total self-identity score for the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group. However, there was no significant difference between the two groups for depression scores. The Assertive and Compliant groups demonstrated significant change in self-identification while the Withdrawn groups did not reveal any change. Conclusion: Results indicate that the enneagram group counseling program is very effective in establishing positive self-identification for nursing college students who face developmental crisis and stressful situations. It is also expected that this program would be useful to enhance the students' confidence through a deeper understanding and acceptance of themselves.

중국 우한에서 발생한 코로나바이러스(COVID-19)의 전파력과 치사율에 주목한 WHO는 글로벌 비상사태를 선언했으나, 효과적인 치료제를 확보하지 못한 채 상황이 악화되자 팬데믹으로 상향 조정했다. 사회적 거리두기와 자가 격리 및 여행 제한에 따른 경제위기 때문에 자유무역 중심 세계 경제체제 붕괴와 세계화의 퇴조가 거론되고 있다. 팬데믹에 제대로 대처하지 못한 정치리더십이 도전받고, 사회는 비접촉과 부동성 문화로 급속히 전환 중이다. 교육 분야에서는 탈학교화라는 개념이 디지털 매체를 통해 물리적 공간에서 현실화하고 있다. 교회교육 역시 심각한 위기에 처했다. COVID-19 팬데믹 상황에서 교회들은 팬데믹에 관한 신앙 및 신한적 성찰, 온라인 예배와 체계적인 신앙교육, 그리고 비대면 중심의 목회까지 포괄하는 이른바 뉴노멀을 기대하고 있다. 포스트 코로나 시대에 교회교육은 급변하는 주변 상황에 부응해서 적극적으로 대안을 모색하면서 의미 있는 기독교적 가치에 초점을 맞춘 교육신학을 새롭게 재구성해야 한다. 아울러서 오프라인과 온라인을 결합한 모바일(또는 온라인) 교회학교를 운영하는 한편, 비대면과 면대면 학습을 혼용하는 학습방식(Blended Learning)을 도입하고, 교회학교와 홈스쿨링을 결합해서 교회와 가정이 교육의 책임을 분담할 필요가 있다.

There is a lack of evidence on the impact of pharmacist interventions in diabetes care in South Korea. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of pharmacist counseling on clinical and humanistic outcomes in patients with type 2 diabetes. An uncontrolled before-and-after study was conducted at the outpatient diabetes clinic in a teaching hospital in Gyeongnam, South Korea between January 2 and November 30, 2014. A total of 37 patients were enrolled. During the study periods, the participants and pharmacists met every 2 weeks via follow-up telephone calls in addition to face-to-face meetings upon returning for care visit. At each meeting, a structured patient counseling was performed and the average duration of each meeting was 15~30 minutes. The participants were requested to record daily self-care activities. At the end of this study, patients' satisfaction on pharmacist care was evaluated using the questionnaire developed by us. Compared to baseline, significant reductions (mean${\pm}$standard deviation, p<0.05) in HbA1c were observed at each follow-up period: $-0.32{\pm}0.72%$ from baseline to 3 months; $-0.52{\pm}0.76%$ from baseline to 6 months; $-0.72{\pm}0.76%$ from baseline to 9 months. Over the same follow-up period, the proportions of patients achieving target HbA1c (defined as HbA1c<6.5%) were 3.1%, 10.3%, and 20%, respectively. The proportions of patients who never missed a dose during the same follow-up period were 43.8%, 31.0%, and 20.0%, respectively. The results from the patient satisfaction survey indicated that pharmacist counseling improved patients' knowledge about diabetes and possible drug interactions. Especially, the information on a healthy diet and lifestyle was the most satisfying. To conclude, follow-up telephone calls combined with face-to-face meetings improved clinical and humanistic outcomes in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

본 연구의 목적은 구슬 문양 디자인의 상징성과 의미 및 신라문화와의 연관성, 유리구슬 제조의 제반 여건을 조사하여 예술성과 기술성이 뛰어난 신라 인면 상감 유리구슬의 신라 자체 제작설을 검증하는 것이다. 연구방법으로는 디자인 분석 이외에 고문헌과 신화, 유리 유물, 유리 및 금속의 생산기술, 실크로드 교차로의 특성 등을 조사하였으며 홍산문화 유물, 다른 상감 유리구슬의 사례들을 수집하였다. 마한, 부여, 신라인은 구슬을 보배로 삼고 장신구에 애용하였는데, 구슬 속의 인면상 상투와 금관장식, 새와 꽃나무의 모든 디자인 요소가 김알지, 김수로, 박혁거세, 주몽 등 위인들의 난생설화, 북방의 새 및 신수 숭상 등과 밀접하였고, 디자인 요소와 배치가 신라의 다른 유물에서도 동일하게 표현되고 있음을 확인하였다. 구슬과 인면상의 기원은 홍산문화였으며 하가점하층문화의 고조선 북표에서는 구슬용 석범이 발견되었다. 또 경주 식리총의 상감 유리구슬과 일본 토간모리 고분의 인면 상감 유리구슬의 출토는 신라 자체 제작설을 확증시켜주는 것이다. 백제인이 5세기 일본에 유리구슬 제작소를 둔 사실은 신라인이 인도네시아 자바에도 제작소를 두었음을 의미한다. 신라와 밀접한 관계였던 인도네시아 자바는 신라의 해상실크로드 교차로, 원석 및 노동력 제공지이고 유리구슬의 소비 지역이나 기원지는 아니었다. 이에 구슬에 대한 신화와 전통을 보유하고 머리에 상투와 금관을 착용하였으며, 금속 및 상감 기술 등 난이도 높은 기술을 보유했던 신라가 자체 제작한 것이 틀림없다.
