약물용량계산 학습 스마트폰 어플리케이션 개발 (Development of a Drug Dosage Calculation Learning Smartphone Application)

  • 본 연구는 간호 대학생들의 약물용량계산 능력을 개발, 증진하기 위해 학습용 스마트폰 어플리케이션을 개발하고 평가하기 위한 것이다. 충분한 자료를 근거로 콘텐츠를 구성한 후에 교육용 시스템으로 구현하는 과정으로 개발하였고, 전문가 집단에 의해 평가받았다. 간호대학생 37명을 대상으로 4주간의 중재 후, 참여도에 따른 자료를 SPSS WIN 18.0을 활용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 어플리케이션의 사용정도에 따라 학습목표의 성취도(${\chi}^2$=10.90, p=.004), 업무 적용도(Z=2.86, p=.004), 수학적 자신감은 유의하게 증진(Z=3.07, p=.002)되었으나, 학업적 효능감에는 차이가 없었다. 본 연구에서 개발된 어플리케이션은 간호 대학생들의 약물용량계산 능력을 강화하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있는 교육용 프로그램이라 여겨지나, 보다 효과적으로 약물계산역량을 향상시키기 위해서는 학업적 효능감을 높이고, 참여를 적극적으로 격려하는 어플리케이션이 개발되어야 할 것이다.

수산·해운계 고등학교 제7차 교육과정 각론 개정 연구 (A Study the 7th Revised Curriculum Development for the Fisheries and Merchant Marine High School)

  • This article refers to the processions and the improvement of the 7th revised curriculum development for the Fisheries and Merchant Marine High School, published at Dec. 30, 1997. The general point of the 7th revised curriculum development was to cultivate creative Korean who will lead the epoch of globalization and information and to perform the learner-centered curriculum. Moreover, it defines the nature of Business High School not as completive but as continuing education. Based on this view, the improvment of 7th revised curriculum has been searched in varous sides. The group of general researchers and cooperators consisted of 12 members who were of university professors, teachers, related business men and executives in the administration branches, and the total researchers of 7th revised curriculum development were 90 members. The basic orientation of the research for the revised curriculum development was as following : The improvement of basic ability, job-analysis ability, integrity of theory and practice, acquisition of the certificate of national qualification, interrelation and cooperative role division between school and industrial fields, extension of self-decision ability of school and local society, protection of learner-selection right and maintaining close relations with the business-educational organization under life-long education system. Thus on the whole, the research for educational goals and contents, instructions, learning theory and evaluation is being processed with a high activity, based on the above mentioned plan of 7th revised curriculum development. At the same time, the methods and the models are being investigated. At last, it is to be noted that, in such as the 7th revised curriculum development research in this case, the effort should not be spared to harmonize the basic technological knowledge of the specialists in the Fisheries and Merchant Marine field and the cultural, liberal arts of personality education.

수학학습 상담을 위한 진단 검사지 개발 연구 (Development of the Diagnostic Worksheet for Mathematics Academic Counseling)

  • 본 연구는 수학학습 상담 시 활용할 사전 진단 검사지를 개발하기 위한 연구이다. 이를 위하여 학생들을 진단하기 위한 발문들을 도출해 내어 검사지를 구성하고, 이에 대한 표준화 작업을 실시하여 초등 5~6학년용과 중등 1~2학년용의 진단 검사지를 제작하였다. 검사지는 총 3부로 나누어, 1부 수학학습심리, 2부 수학학습 방법, 3부 수학학습 개인 성향으로 구성하였다. 수학학습심리는 '수학학습능력 자신감', '수학불안', '수학학습 태도' 요인으로, 수학학습 방법은 '수학학습 자기관리'와 '수학학습 전략' 요인으로, 수학학습 개인 성향은 '수학학습 습관'과 '수학학습 관리 방법', '동기', '성향'을 묻는 문항으로 구성하였다. 이러한 진단 검사지는 학생들의 수학학습 상담을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다.

온라인 네트워킹 활동이 가상협업 역량 및 업무성과에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Online Social Networking on Individual Virtual Competence and Task Performance in Organizations)

  • With the advent of communication technologies including electronic collaborative tools and conferencing systems provided over the Internet, virtual collaboration is becoming increasingly common in organizations. Virtual collaboration refers to an environment in which the people working together are interdependent in their tasks, share responsibility for outcomes, are geographically dispersed, and rely on mediated rather than face-to face, communication to produce an outcome. Research suggests that new sets of individual skill, knowledge, and ability (SKAs) are required to perform effectively in today's virtualized workplace, which is labeled as individual virtual competence. It is also argued that use of online social networking sites may influence not only individuals' daily lives but also their capability to manage their work-related relationships in organizations, which in turn leads to better performance. The existing research regarding (1) the relationship between virtual competence and task performance and (2) the relationship between online networking and task performance has been conducted based on different theoretical perspectives so that little is known about how online social networking and virtual competence interplay to predict individuals' task performance. To fill this gap, this study raises the following research questions: (1) What is the individual virtual competence required for better adjustment to the virtual collaboration environment? (2) How does online networking via diverse social network service sites influence individuals' task performance in organizations? (3) How do the joint effects of individual virtual competence and online networking influence task performance? To address these research questions, we first draw on the prior literature and derive four dimensions of individual virtual competence that are related with an individual's self-concept, knowledge and ability. Computer self-efficacy is defined as the extent to which an individual beliefs in his or her ability to use computer technology broadly. Remotework self-efficacy is defined as the extent to which an individual beliefs in his or her ability to work and perform joint tasks with others in virtual settings. Virtual media skill is defined as the degree of confidence of individuals to function in their work role without face-to-face interactions. Virtual social skill is an individual's skill level in using technologies to communicate in virtual settings to their full potential. It should be noted that the concept of virtual social skill is different from the self-efficacy and captures an individual's cognition-based ability to build social relationships with others in virtual settings. Next, we discuss how online networking influences both individual virtual competence and task performance based on the social network theory and the social learning theory. We argue that online networking may enhance individuals' capability in expanding their social networks with low costs. We also argue that online networking may enable individuals to learn the necessary skills regarding how they use technological functions, communicate with others, and share information and make social relations using the technical functions provided by electronic media, consequently increasing individual virtual competence. To examine the relationships among online networking, virtual competence, and task performance, we developed research models (the mediation, interaction, and additive models, respectively) by integrating the social network theory and the social learning theory. Using data from 112 employees of a virtualized company, we tested the proposed research models. The results of analysis partly support the mediation model in that online social networking positively influences individuals' computer self-efficacy, virtual social skill, and virtual media skill, which are key predictors of individuals' task performance. Furthermore, the results of the analysis partly support the interaction model in that the level of remotework self-efficacy moderates the relationship between online social networking and task performance. The results paint a picture of people adjusting to virtual collaboration that constrains and enables their task performance. This study contributes to research and practice. First, we suggest a shift of research focus to the individual level when examining virtual phenomena and theorize that online social networking can enhance individual virtual competence in some aspects. Second, we replicate and advance the prior competence literature by linking each component of virtual competence and objective task performance. The results of this study provide useful insights into how human resource responsibilities assess employees' weakness and strength when they organize virtualized groups or projects. Furthermore, it provides managers with insights into the kinds of development or training programs that they can engage in with their employees to advance their ability to undertake virtual work.

  • 최근 산업 환경의 빠른 진화와 발전으로 기업이 필요한 인재상이 변화하고 있다. 이러한 교육 패러다임의 변화에 따라 대학 교육은 기업에 필요한 인재를 양성하기 위해서 강의식 교육방법(기존의 지식 전달 방식)의 문제점을 보완하고 자기 주도적이고 창의적 문제 해결력 향상을 위한 새로운 교수학습 방법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터공학과의 전공필수교과목인 알고리즘 수업에서 플립러닝을 적용하여 이론과 실습수업을 병행한 그룹과 플립러닝을 적용하여 이론수업을 진행한 그룹 그리고 전통적인 강의식 기법을 적용한 그룹으로 분류하여 수업을 진행한다. 학습자의 학습 동기부여 및 학업 성취도 향상을 위해 알고리즘 교과목에 적합하도록 플립러닝 교수학습법을 제안하고 수업에 직접 적용한다. 그 결과를 바탕으로 학습자들의 학업성취도 및 학습만족도를 비교분석하고 문제점 및 활용방안을 제시하고자 한다.

L2 Learning Motivation in Technology Enhanced Instruction: A Survey from Three Perspectives

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the ways in which CALL apply to enhance the motivational aspects of second language learning. Theories relevant to social, cognitive, and affective foundations of motivation are first reviewed to demonstrate the important role of motivational influences in improving learners' affect and achievements. Then, implications arising from such theories in strengthening the motivational aspects of CALL are explicated in the second part. With the spread of computer technology in language classrooms, the innovative role of CALL in the development and maintenance of intrinsic motivation can be illustrated. Specifically, CALL may provide cognitively supportive instruction geared towards improving students' performance. Also, it has been reported from the affective perspective that CALL can captivate learners' attention, promote their feelings and expectations of success, improve perceptions of control, and increase positive attributions to effort and ability. Finally, from a social learning perspective, CALL may enhance learners' self-efficacy and foster their achievement and positive affect through social interactions, proximal goal-setting, and attributional feedback. In the framework of CALL, students seem to be benefited by the immediacy and authenticity of contact with target languages and cultures made at their choices and decisions.

  • 원격교육의 발전은 해를 거듭할수록 많은 변화를 가져왔다. 기존의 원격교육은 학습자 특성을 고려하기보다는 학습내용의 반복훈련을 통해 기능을 습득하는 단순반복형 학습시스템 유형이 많다. 이러한 단순반복형 학습시스템은 학습초기 학습매체가 가지는 흥미와 동기가 학습이 지속될수록 반감되어 간다는 단점이 있다. 학습자들이 참여하지 않을 경우 교육 자체가 성립하기 어렵기에 원격교육에 있어서 학습 참여는 대단히 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 원격교육에서 학습자들의 참여도가 저조하다는 것을 인지하여 학습 참여도를 향상시키기 위해 학습자가 자기 주도적이고 상호작용적 및 수준별 학습을 가능하게 하는 시스템을 개발하여 응용해 봄으로써 다른 강의까지도 학습효과를 줄 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

물리치료학 수업에서의 문제중심학습(PBL)의 모듈 개발과 적용 (The Development and Application of a Problem-based Learning Module for Physical Therapy Classes)

  • Purpose: This research was to develop a module for problem-based learning(PBL) and to enhance the problem-solving abilities of physical therapy students in a neurological physical therapy course and to evaluate the effects of the module using quantitative and qualitative data. Methods: The PBL module was applied to 55 third-year physical therapy students who participated in a neurological physical therapy course at S university in Seoul. Anonymous self-report questionnaires and reflection journals were collected, and the data were analyzed. Results: The results of the analysis showed that the academic achievements of the students who participated in the first PBL class improved compared to the academic achievements of the students who had participated in the same class in the previous semester. Second, the students who participated in the PBL class evaluated the PBL as a very effective learning method for developing clinical practical ability. Third, the students of the PBL class showed increased cooperation and communication abilities between team members. Conclusion: The results of this study indicated that, if PBL class case studies and various types of teaching and learning methods appropriate for theoretical and practical fields are continuously studied, then it is expected that teaching models will be developed that can develop flexibility and creativity among preliminary physical therapists in a rapidly changing medical environment.

중학교 학생들의 자기주도적 학습 능력 분석 (Investigation of middle-school students' self-directed learning)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 다층분석 모형을 활용하여 중학교 학생들의 자기주도적 학습 능력을 분석하는 데 있었다. 학생 개인 및 학교수준의 변량을 고려함으로써 중학교 학생들의 자기주도적 학습 능력은 개인 및 학교의 특성 관점에서 설명되었다. 다층모형 분석을 위해 학생수준에서는 자기주도적 학습 기회 제공, 개별학생 특성에 대한 배려, 교과 외 활동 참여도, 그리고 사교육 참여정도가 활용되었다. 학교 수준에서는 생활보호대상자 수, 7차 교육과정 운영상의 어려움, 그리고 학부모 지원의 적극성이 사용되었다. 분석결과 자기주도적 학습 능력 전체 변량의 95% 이상이 학생 수준에서 설명됨이 밝혀졌으나 학생 수준의 변인 중에서 사교육 참여정도는 유의미한 변인이 아닌 것으로 나타났다. 다층 분석 결과를 바탕으로 학생들의 배경변인에 따른 중다회귀분석도 실시하여 사교육 참여 정도와 자기주도적 학습 능력 사이의 관계에 대한 논의를 시도하였다.

표준화 환자를 활용한 정신시뮬레이션 실습프로그램 개발 및 효과 (Development and Efficacy of Psychiatric Nursing Simulation Practical Training program Using Standardized Patients)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생을 대상으로 표준화 환자를 활용한 정신시뮬레이션 실습프로그램을 개발 및 적용하여 효과를 검증하기 위해 시도 되었다. 본 연구는 단일군 사전·사후설계 연구이며 자료수집은 J소재 일개 대학 간호학과 학생 186명에게 구조화된 설문지를 제공하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 27.0 program을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 표준화 환자를 활용한 정신 시뮬레이션 실습 교육 프로그램은 대상자의 의사소통능력(t=-2.575, p=001), 학습자기효능감(t=-2.228, p=.026)과 문제해결능력(t=-2.298, p=.017)을 향상시키는데 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과 간호대학생의 현장 적응 능력을 향상하기 위해 실제 상황과 유사한 환경을 조성하고 필요한 자원을 활용한 다양한 사례를 적용한 시뮬레이션 실습 교육프로그램을 개발 및 적용할 필요가 있다.
