  • This paper presents to verify the selective grounding fault protective relaying technique for the ungrounded DC traction power supply system. This system selectively blocks fault section when grounding fault occurred. In order to perform this verification, field test facilities have been installed on Oesam substation and Worldcup-Stadium substation, and field test process has been suggested. Also, selective grounding fault protective relaying components and rail voltage reduction device have been tested with the various trial examinations. In order to compare and evaluate performance of the selective grounding fault protective relaying function, field test system was modeled and the system fault simulation results were compared and evaluated with the field test result. Performance of selective grounding fault protective relaying function was evaluated with the above-mentioned process, and the fact that the system recognizes fault section irrespective of insulation between rail and ground and fault resistance from grounding fault.

부하변동이 큰 화장시설 SCR 공정에서 NOx/N2O 및 NH3 동시 저감 특성 연구 (The Reaction Characteristics of NOx/N2O and NH3 in Crematory Facility SCR Process with Load Variation)

  • Efficient simultaneous reduction conditions for $NO_x$ and $NH_3$-slip was investigated in SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) process with load variation by applying dual catalysts (SCR catalyst, $NH_3$ decomposition catalyst) system. $N_2O$ formation characteristics were analyzed to look into possible undesirable reaction pathways. In the experiments of catalyst characteristics, various operational variables were tested for the combined catalytic system, such as $NH_3/NO_x$ ratio, temperature, oxygen concentration and $H_2O$. The reaction characteristics of $NO_x$, $NH_3$ and $N_2O$ were analyzed and optimal conditions could be evaluated for the combustion facility with varied load. In terms of $NO_x/NH_3$ simultaneous reduction and $N_2O$ formation suppression, optimal condition was considered NSR 1.2 and temperature $300^{\circ}C$. At this operational condition, $NO_x$ conversion was 98%, $NH_3$ reduction efficiency was 95%, generated $N_2O$ concentration 9.5 ppm with inlet $NO_x$ concentration of 100 ppm. In $NH_3-SCR$ process with $NH_3$ decomposition catalyst, $NO_x$ and $NH_3$ can be considered to be reduced simultaneously at limited conditions. The results of this study may be utilized as basic data at facilities requiring simultaneous $NO_x$ and $NH_3$ reduction for facilities with load variation.

  • Selective laser melting(SLM)은 적층 제조 방법 중 하나로서, 분말을 선택적으로 용융하여 기능적이고, 복잡한 형상을 즉각적으로 제작 가능하다는 장점이 있다. Ti-6Al-4V 합금의 경우 높은 융점과 산화문제로 인하여 SLM 공정도입에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 연구에서는 SLM 장비를 사용하여 Ti-6Al-4V 파트를 성공적으로 적층하였으며 스캔속도, 레이저 파워의 변수를 조절하여 적층 가능 조건을 도출하였다. 또한 적층 된 Ti-6Al-4V 파트의 형상 정밀도, 면밀도 및 기계적특성 평가를 통하여 일반적으로 사용되는 공정조건(스캔 속도 200~700 mm/s)으로 제작된 제작품 물성치와 비교를 통해 Ti-6Al-4V 합금의 고속 적층 영역에서의 최적 공정을 확립하였다.

  • We study the process for the reduction of bird's beak at LOCOS processing with changing the representative coefficients, oxide thickness, silicon nitride thickness, oxidetion temperature and field oxide thickness that induced the condition of bird'beak. In order to eliminate the gate oxide defects induced by selective oxidation, we used additional sacrific oxidatio. Finally we obtained the length of bird's beak to be 5000\ulcornerby SEM.

  • 질소산화물($NO_x$) 저감을 위한 선택적 무촉매 환원(SNCR; selective non-catalytic reduction) 공정의 성능은 유속, 반응온도 그리고 반응물간의 혼합과 같은 공정변수에 민감하다. 따라서 효율적인 SNCR 공정의 설계와 운전을 위하여 속도장, 온도장, 및 화학물질들의 농도 분포에 대한 이해가 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 150 kW LPG 버너가 장착되고, 요소용액을 환원제로 사용하는 파일럿 규모 SNCR 공정에 대하여 액적모델과 결합된 2차원 난류반응흐름 전산유체역학(CFD; computational fluid dynamics) 모델을 개발하고, 이 모델은 실험결과를 통하여 검증된다. 난류반응 CFD 모델에서는 $NO_x$저감율과 $NH_3$-slip을 예측하기 위하여 7개 반응식으로 이루어진 요소용액과 $NO_x$와의 반응기작을 이용한다. 이러한 모델을 이용한 CFD 모사결과는 온도와 NSR(normalized stoichiometric ratio)에 따른 $NO_x$ 저감율에서 실험결과와 최대 20% 이내에서 차이를 보여주고 있으며, $NH_3$-slip에 대하여는 실험결과와 모사결과 사이에 유사한 경향성을 얻었다.

  • Catalytic reduction and oxidation of NO over polyacrylonitrile based activated carbon fibers (PAN-ACF) under various conditions were carried out to develop removal process of NO from the flue gas. The effect of temperature, oxygen concentration and the moisture content for the reduction of NO with ammonia as a reducing agent was investigated. The reduction of NO increased with the oxygen concentration, but decreased with the increased temperature. The moisture content in the flue gas affects the reduction of NO as the inhibition of the adsorption of the other components and the reaction on the surface of ACE For the oxidation of NO to $NO_2$ over PAN-ACF without using a reducing gas, it showed the temperature and the oxygen concentration of the flue gas are the important factors for the NO conversion in which the conversion increased with oxygen concentration and decreased with the temperature increase and might be the alternative option for the selective catalytic reduction process.

SNCR 시스템 내부의 물질 반응에 관한 전산해석적 연구 (CFD Analysis on the Internal Reaction in the SNCR System)

  • 연소공정 내에서 질소산화물 배출을 저감하는 선택적 무촉매 환원장치 내부의 화학반응 및 저감효율에 대한 수치해석이 실행되었다. 선택적 무촉매 환원장치에서 저감된 질소산화물은 질소뿐만 아니라 아산화질소로도 전환된다. 아산화질소는 온실가스로써 지구온난화에 영향을 끼치기 때문에 선택적 무촉매 환원장치 내의 질소산화물 제어와 동시에 아산화질소 생성제어가 요구되어진다. 본 연구에서는 선행연구에서 실행된 실험과 온도조건과 가성소다의 첨가량이 동일한 선택적 무촉매 환원장치 내의 전산해석을 실시하고 비교하여 전산해석의 신뢰성을 확인하고, 가성소다 첨가량을 추가적으로 조절하여 질소산화물의 저감 효율과 아산화질소 생성량을 예측하였다. 전산해석은 후단의 측정점을 설정하여 각 물질의 질량분율을 확인하였다. 세부적으로는 측정점에서 유동방향에 수직한 면을 설정하여 온도 조건과 가성소다 첨가량에 따른 각 물질의 평균 질량분율을 비교하였다. 실험값과 전산해석에 의한 모사값은 최대 18.9%의 오차를 보이며 대체적으로 잘 예측됨을 확인하였으며 가성소다 첨가량을 증가시켰을 땐 70% 이상의 제거율의 온도 범위가 넓어지는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 반응온도의 낙차가 크고 잦은 폐기물 소각시설 등에서 효과적일 것으로 예상된다.

Numerical Analysis of Flow Uniformity in Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Process Using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

  • The NOx removal performance of the SCR process depends on various factors such as catalytic factors (catalyst composition, shape, space velocity, etc.), temperature and flow rate distribution of the exhaust gas. Among them, the uniformity of the flow flowing into the catalyst bed plays the most important role. In this study, the flow characteristics in the SCR reactor in the design stage were simulated using a three-dimensional numerical analysis technique to confirm the uniformity of the airflow. Due to the limitation of the installation space, the shape of the inlet duct was compared with the two types of inlet duct shape because there were many curved sections of the inlet duct and the duct size margin was not large. The effect of inlet duct shape, guide vane or mixer installation, and venturi shape change on SCR reactor internal flow, airflow uniformity, and space utilization rate of ammonia concentration were studied. It was found that the uniformity of the airflow reaching the catalyst layer was greatly improved when an inlet duct with a shape that could suppress drift was applied and guide vanes were installed in the curved part of the inlet duct to properly distribute the process gas. In addition, the space utilization rate was greatly improved when the duct at the rear of the nozzle was applied as a venturi type rather than a mixer for uniform distribution of ammonia gas.
