AFC-기반 통합대중교통 네트워크의 Selected Station Analysis (SSA) 연구 - 수도권 지하철 환승역사를 중심으로 - (A Study on Selected Station Analysis of AFC-Based Integrated Transit Network - Focused on Subway Transfer Stations in Seoul Metropolitan Area -)

  • 본 연구를 아우르는 질문은 "지하철 역사내부를 이동하는 개별승객은 언제 어디서 어떤수단을 이용해서 출발해서 언제 어디로 어떤 수단을 이용해서 갔는가 ?"이다. 이 물음에 답하기 위해서는 지하철 역사를 이동하는 개별승객이 이용한 정류장, 경로, 수단에 대한 파악이 선행되어야 한다. 수도권 통합대중교통요금체계에서는 AFC(자동요금징수체계)자료를 활용하면 개별대중교통이용승객의 통행수단, 정류장, 경로가 파악된다. 본 연구는 AFC자료를 이용하여 수도권의 대중교통역사의 승객이동을 지하철 환승역사의 관점에서 관찰하는 SSA(선별역사분석) 기법을 제안한다. SSA는 환승역사내 개별승객이동을 세분화하고 연계통행관점에서 최초출발역/시간과 최종도착역/시간 정보를 분석한다.

Comparative AFLP Profiles among Strains of Korean Races of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae.

  • We used an amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) analysis, a novel PCR-based technique, to differentiate Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo) of Korean races. The 6 strains of Xoo K1, K2, K3 races were tested with 81 AFLP primer combinations to identify the best selective primers. The primer combinations were selected according to their reproducibility, number of polymorphic bands and polymorphism detected among Xoo strains. 18 strains of Xoo K1, K2 and K3 races were analyzed with the selected combinations of primer set. Some primer combinations (Eco R I +1 / Mse I+1) could differentiate Xoo of Korean races that were not distinguished by other fingerprinting analysis. Thus AFLP fingerprinting permitted very fine discrimination among different races.

  • This paper deals with the after-tax economic feasibility analysis of the hydrogen fueling station considering dynamic utilization. We selected an off-site hydrogen station in which the hydrogen is supplied by a central by-product hydrogen plant as a case study. Also, we made some sensitivity analysis by changing input factors such as the discount rate, the hydrogen station construction cost, the hydrogen demand and the hydrogen sale price. As a result, the hydrogen station will not be economical in 2020 due to the relatively high price of the hydrogen station construction cost and the low price of hydrogen sale price. In order to realize the economic feasibility of the hydrogen station in the early stage of the hydrogen economy, the subsidies on the annual operating cost as well as the construction cost are needed.

  • This paper proposes methods to incorporate station related aging failures in composite system reliability assessment. Aging failures of station components, such as circuit breakers and bus bars, are a major concern in composite power system planning and operation as an increasing number of station components approach the wear-out phase. This paper presents probabilistic models for circuit breakers involving aging failures and relevant evaluation techniques to examine the effects of station related aging outages. The technique developed to incorporate station related aging failures are illustrated by application to a small composite test system. The paper illustrates the effects of circuit breaker aging outages on bulk system reliability evaluation and examines the relative effects of variations in component age. System sensitivity analysis is illustrated by varying selected component parameters. The results show the implications of including component aging failure considerations in the overall analysis of a composite system.

  • As the number of deeply-underground subway station(DUSS) increases, the safety measures for DUSS have been requested. In this research, Shingumho station (The line # 5, Depth: 46m) has been selected as case-study for the analysis of smoke-spread speed with the different fire strength. Field test data measured for actual fan in DUSS was applied as a condition of a simulation. The whole station was covered in this analysis and total of 4 million grids were generated for this simulation. The fire driven flow was analyzed case by case to compare the smoke-spread effect according to the fire strength. in order to enhance the efficiency of calculation, parallel processing by MPI was employed and large eddy simulation method in FDS code was adopted.

  • In this paper, requirements of GNSS receiver station installation are derived for optimizing the performance of network based GNSS precise positioning by concern of international organization(IGS, NGS) recommendation. Also a analysis method of network based GNSS precise positioning is suggested in order to evaluate the availability depending on various network configurations. To evaluate network candidates, a performance evaluation method is proposed for positioning of users according to a geometric configuration and the baseline distance. After the proposed method is used to Ochang region that is a the test area 6 network candidates are derived and the performance of positioning was analyzed. Finally, Ansung, Gongju, Eumsung, Boeun network configuration was selected as the best positioning performance. An optimal Receiving station network was selected using the proposed method.

  • This paper investigated the human distribution in subway station areas in Seoul, using geotweets and subway ridership data. Eight stations were selected from the districts of Gangnam and Gangbuk. Geotweets located within a 600-meter radius of the central coordinates of each station were extracted, and distances between the center of station and each tweet location were calculated. Donut-shaped dimension and pie-shaped dimension were generated, using the Haversine distance formula and the Azimuth angle formula respectively. By combining the two dimensions, Dartboard-shaped space division is created. Popular places within the subway station areas identified from this research are almost the same as the current well-known popular places, and this is an important case showing that people send tweets from various places where they engage in daily activities. We expect this study can be a methodological guideline for social scientists who use spatio-temporal or GPS data for their research.

Analysis of Multiple Network Accessibilities and Commercial Space Use in Metro Station Areas: An Empirical Case Study of Shanghai, China

  • Against the background of the rapid development of the Shanghai Metro network, this paper attempts to establish an analytical approach to evaluate the impact of multiple transport network accessibilities on commercial space use in metro station areas. Ten well-developed metro station areas in central Shanghai are selected as samples. Commercial space floor area and visitors in these areas are collected. Using ArcGIS and Spatial Design Network Analysis, the Shanghai Metro network and road network are modeled to compute diversified transport accessibilities. Evidence from land use and commercial space floor area within a 0-to-500-meter buffer zone of stations is consistent with location and land-use theory: commercial land use is concentrated closer to stations. Correlation analysis suggests that hourly visitors to the shopping mall are mainly influenced by metro network accessibility, while retail stores and restaurants are affected by both metro and pedestrian accessibility.

주요 철도역사의 고객이용패턴 조사분석 (An Examination of Customer Usage for Major Railway Station Buildings)

  • Under the rapid change in environment of our society and culture, it is also called for a reform in railway management that has traditionally focused on transportation service. Thus developing a business model to use station buildings as a new source of profit has become a promising core business of railway companies. This study aims to find a way to maximize profits by strategically utilizing station buildings and thereby increasing accessibility to customers and consolidating facilities as a key service point. The subjects of this study include eight station buildings that can represent three types of railway stations including departure stations, junction stations, and metro stations. The researcher conducted an analysis on moving lines for examining user distribution and facility utilization within the selected buildings, a survey for collecting basic information on usage and measuring customer satisfaction of facility in the buildings, and a sight analysis to examine accessibility to the station buildings. On the basis of these analyses, the researcher examined the correlations between convenience, visibility, recognizability and functionality with regard to commerce, amenities, couches, direction boards, etc. within station waiting rooms. On the basis of the above analyses, the researcher provides a scheme to increase profitability in railway operation business and customer benefits of using station buildings by drawing up a plan to improve usage of station buildings and maximize profit-making potential for each category of station buildings.

지하철정거장 화재에 대한 강구조물의 내화해석 (A Numerical Analysis of Steel Structures on a Subway Station Fire)

  • A fire disaster is very serious in the closing space like subway station. In this study, the simulation on fire diffusion is performed to get the temperature history curve, which is used for the fire resisting structural analysis. Most of subway stations are built by the reinforced concrete structure, but recently steel structures are selected for the larger space or beauty. Steel structures relatively have more weaknesses against fire, so it is necessary to develop the method for evaluating fire-resisting capacity in this kind of structures. The developed method is applied to the subway station in Daegu city. It shows that the developed method can be used to simulate the fire disaster and to get the temperature history curve and evaluate the safety of steel structures against the fire.
