숭례문 지반 높이 변천과 홍예 비례 (On the Proportion of Sungnyemun Arch Related with the Changes of Ground Level)

  • The purpose of this research is to analyse the changes of ground level of Sungnyemun, the South Gate of Seoul City, and the principles of arch scale through the investigation based on the old records in Joseon dynasty. The result of this research is as follows: 1) The ground level of Sungnyemun, refers the level of foundation stone which was confirmed as original which is verified through the excavation conducted in 2005, maintained 1m's elevated level in 15~16 century and its elevated date presumed in King Sejong's reign(1418~1450). 2) The ground level of Sungnyemun is closely related with the royal funeral ceremony. 3) The width and height scale of Sungnyemun arch is about the ratio of 1 to 1. 4) During the Joseeon dynasty, Sungnyemun was referred as standard of other city wall gate. And it has similar architectural characteristics with Heunginjimun (or East Gate) of Seoul and Hwaseong Janganmun.

Report of the Genus Rhodobates (Lepidoptera, Tineidae) New to Korea

  • A tineid genus, Rhodobates Ragonot, 1895 in Myrmecozelinae is reported for the first time from Korea, with a congener, R. cupulatus Li and Xiao, 2006. The voucher specimens of the species comprise four males and four females collected from Seoul City, Sejong City, Gangwon-do, Chungcheongbuk-do, and Chungcheongnam-do. Among the previously-known species of Tineidae in Korea, Rhodobates cupulatus is similar to Psychoides gosari Kim and Bae in having the uniform coloration over the body and wings, but differs from the latter in the much larger body size. External appearance and genital features of R. cupulatus are redescribed and illustrated. A COI sequence of R. cupulatus is provided for the first time and compared in the world database of DNA barcodes. The Korean records of the species represent the first evidence of its occurrence out of the type locality. Circumstances of its collecting in Korea suggest that it is possibly feeding on dead woods in damp environments.

일본 대도시 독거노인의 자녀와의 지원교환형태에 따른 생활만족도 (Exploring Relationships between Life Satisfaction and Patterns of Support Exchange of the Elderly Living Alone and Their Children in Metropolitan City in Japan)

  • The present study identified the patterns of support exchange between the elderly living alone and their children in a metropolitan city in Japan and examined the relationships between the patterns of support exchange and their life satisfaction. The sample was collected from 1,020 the elderly living alone in Osaka city selected with random sampling method. The questionnaires were mailed to the respondents, who were asked to send them back. The response rate was 51.7%(n = 526). We used 371 sample of respondents who have children. The results indicated that:(1)the patterns of support exchange were different by the types of social support, (2)the life satisfaction of the elderly who had an appropriate balance of a support exchange pattern was significantly higher than the life satisfaction of those who had low support exchange or only provided supports to their children. The findings imply that an appropriate balance of support exchange between the elderly living alone and their children was crucial in improving life satisfaction of the elderly living alone.

EFDC-Hydro와 WASP7.2 를 이용한 금강하류의 수리-수질 연계 모델링 (Serial Use of Hydrodynamic and Water Quality Model of the Geum River using EFDC-Hydro and WASP7.2)

  • This study reports the serial use of a 3-D hydrodynamic model, EFDC-Hydro and a dynamic water quality model WASP7.2 that are maintained by USEPA. The 48 km section of the Geum River downstream between Daechung Dam and Gongju was selected as a sample study site. Topographical information was used to accurately represent morphology of the study site and boundary conditions were derived from governmental databases including WAMIS by Ministry of Land and Ocean and WEIS by Ministry of Environment. EFDC-Hydro was successfully calibrated for observed water level and WASP was calibrated using monthly observed water quality data obtained from the above sources. It was found that the current water quality target of BOD for the Geum River-H point could not be met on monthly basis though every other tributary of the area would meet its own water quality target as assigned in Korean TMDL. This study proposed the new target BOD water quality for the Gabcheon and Mihocheon as 4.3 and 3.6 mg/l, respectively so that the Geum River-H point can meet the target. When Sejong City is constructed, it is estimated that effluent discharge limit of BOD must be less than 4.5 mg/l to meet water quality of the point. This study shows that it is possible to carry out more precise modeling considering both water movement and water kinetics by using EFDC and WASP simultaneously.

Dissolved organic matter characteristics and bacteriological changes during phosphorus removal using ladle furnace slag

  • A sidestream contains the filtrate or concentrate from the belt filter press, filter backwash and supernatant from sludge digesters. The sidestream flow, which heads back into the sewage treatment train, is about 1-3% less than the influent flow. However, the sidestream can increase the nutrient load since it contains high concentrations of phosphorus and nitrogen. In this study, the removal of PO4-P with organic matter characteristics and bacteriological changes during the sidestream treatment via ladle furnace (LF) slag was investigated. The sidestream used in this study consisted of 11-14% PO4-P and 3.2-3.6% soluble chemical oxygen demand in influent loading rates. LF slag, which had a relatively high $Ca^{2+}$ release compared to other slags, was used to remove $PO_4-P$ from the sidestream. The phosphate removal rates increased as the slag particle size decreased 19.1% (2.0-4.0 mm, 25.2% (1.0-2.0 mm) and 79.9% (0.5-1.0 mm). The removal rates of dissolved organic carbon, soluble chemical oxygen demand, color and aromatic organic matter ($UV_{254}$) were 17.6, 41.7, 90.2 and 77.3%, respectively. Fluorescence excitation-emission matrices and liquid chromatography-organic carbon detection demonstrated that the sidestream treatment via LF slag was effective in the removal of biopolymers. However, the removal of dissolved organic matter was not significant during the treatment. The intact bacterial biomass decreased from $1.64{\times}10^8cells/mL$ to $1.05{\times}10^8cells/mL$. The use of LF slag was effective for the removal of phosphate and the removal efficiency of phosphate was greater than 80% for up to 100 bed volumes.

의용소방대의 효율적 운영에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Efficient Management of Volunteer Fire Department)

  • 본 논문은 의용소방대의 조직문화가 구성원의 활동만족도에 미치는 영향을 관찰하려는 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 세종특별자치시라는 범위를 한정하여 의용소방대원 182명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 조사된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 win 프로그램을 활용하여 설문문항의 신뢰도분석을 실시하였고, 변인들의 빈도분석과 기술통계를 실시하였다. 조직문화의 하위 문화유형인 집단문화, 발전문화, 위계문화, 합리문화가 활동만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 집단문화와 위계문화는 유의확률 0.05 이하에서 활동만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 의용소방대원이 인식하는 문화유형이 집단문화 그리고 발전문화일수록 의용소방대원의 활동만족도는 높게 나타났다. 이 논문은 우리나라 의용소방대의 효율적 운영을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

세종특별자치시 의용소방대원의 활동 만족도에 미치는 영향 요인 연구 (A Study on the Impacting Factors Influencing on the Volunteer Firefighter's Satisfaction in Sejong City Upon their Activities as a Volunteer Firefighter)

  • 본 논문은 의용소방대원의 참여동기, 대인관계, 인정 및 보상 요인이 의용소방활동의 전반적 만족도에 미치는 영향을 관찰하려는 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 세종특별자치시의 의용소방대원 106명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 조사된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 win 프로그램을 활용하여 설문문항의 신뢰도분석을 실시하였고, 변인들의 빈도분석와 기술통계를 실시하였다. 더하여 참여동기, 대인관계 그리고 인정 및 보상 요인이 전반적 만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 참여동기, 대인관계, 인정 및 보상 요인 모두는 유의확률 0.05 이하에서 전반적 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 참여동기, 인정 및 보상 요인, 대인관계의 순서로 전반적 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 논문은 우리나라 의용소방대의 효율적 운영을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

공공 디지털 사이니지 서비스 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Public Digital Signage Services)

  • 본 연구는 행정안전부의 시범사업 중 하나인 '세종특별시 디지털 사이니지 국가시범사업'을 위한 기초연구를 기반으로 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 첨단 기술이 결합된 스마트 플랫폼인 '디지털 사이니지'를 '공공 서비스 콘텐츠 플랫폼'으로 보고 콘텐츠의 배치를 계획하기 위한 전략이 기술우위 공급자 대신 해당 지역 커뮤니티 또는 사용자에 초점을 맞춰야 한다고 전제하였다. 이러한 맥락에서 첨단 기술 기반의 공공 서비스에 대한 수요 증가에 대응하여, '공공 디지털 사이니지 서비스' 개발 전략에 관해 연구하였다. 또한 동 전략을 쉽게 수립하거나 실행할 수 있도록 '디지털 사이니지 서비스 툴'들을 설계하였다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 '디지털 사이니지 기능'을 '디지털 광고 기능' 뿐만 아니라 '공공 및 문화 서비스 기능'으로 확대, 발전시키는 전략을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 연구의 최종 목표는 시민들의 적극적인 참여와 인터랙티브 미디어의 혁신적인 활용을 통해 '세종시 상권 활성화 프로젝트'가 창출하는 공공 가치를 추구하는 것이라고 할 수 있다.

도로 자산관리를 위한 상태 모니터링 및 경제성 분석 : 세종시를 중심으로 (Infrastructure Health Monitoring and Economic Analysis for Road Asset Management : Focused on Sejong City)

  • 본 연구에서는 세종시 포장도로 구간을 대상으로 모바일매핑시스템(MMS)과 딥러닝 균열 감지시스템을 활용한 도로포장 모니터링 방안을 제시하고 경제성 분석을 통한 최적 유지보수 공법을 제시하였다. 나아가, 기존 대부분의 연구에서는 도로포장 조사 차량에 의해 취득된 데이터를 활용한 사례가 대부분이었으나 본 연구에서는 직접 모니터링 조사를 통해 취득한 도로 포장 상태등급을 기준으로 경제성 분석을 실시하였다. 도로포장 상태 모니터링 결과 일반국도, 시도, 지방도의 순서대로 도로포장 상태가 양호한 것을 확인하였다. 또한 포장파손모델을 활용한 경제성 분석 결과, 예방적 유지보수공법인 마이크로서페이싱 공법을 적용하는 것이 유지보수비용과 이용자 편익 측면에서 가장 경제적인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 성과는 지자체의 기반시설 관리계획 수립을 위한 기초적 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

환경공간정보와 InVEST Carbon 모형을 활용한 탄소저장량 추정 방법에 관한 연구: 세종시를 중심으로 - 생태·자연도, 국토환경성평가지도, 도시생태현황지도를 대상으로 - (A Study on the Estimation Method of Carbon Storage Using Environmental Spatial Information and InVEST Carbon Model: Focusing on Sejong Special Self-Governing City - Using Ecological and Natural Map, Environmental Conservation Value Assessment Map, and Urban Ecological Map -)

  • Climate change is considered a severe global problem closely related to carbon storage. However, recent urbanization and land-use changes reduce carbon stocks in terrestrial ecosystems. Recently, the role of protected areas has been emphasized as a countermeasure to the climate change, and protected areas allow the area to continue to serve as a carbon sink due to legal restrictions. This study attempted to expand the scope of these protected areas to an evaluation-based environmental spatial information theme map. In this study, the area of each grade was compared, and the distribution of land cover for each grade was analyzed using the Ecological and Nature Map, Environmental Conservation Value Assessment Map and Urban Ecological Map of Sejong Special Self-Governing City. Based on this, the average carbon storage for each grade was derived using the InVEST Carbon model. As a result of the analysis, the high-grade area of the environmental spatial information generally showed a wide area of the natural area represented by the forest area, and accordingly, the carbon storage amount was evaluated to be high. However, there are differences in the purpose of production, evaluation items, and evaluation methods between each environmental spatial information, there are differences in area, land cover, and carbon storage. Through this study, environmental spatial information based on the evaluation map can be used for land use management in the carbon aspect, and it is expected that a management plan for each grade suitable for the characteristics of each environmental spatial information is required.
