As the number of IOT devices is growing rapidly, various 'see-thru connection' techniques have been reported for efficient communication with them. In this paper, we propose a deep learning based IOT device recognition system for interaction with these devices. The overall system consists of a TensorFlow based deep learning server and two Android apps for data collection and recognition purposes. As the basic neural network model, we adopted Google's inception-v3, and modified the output stage to classify 20 types of IOT devices. After creating a data set consisting of 1000 images of 20 categories, we trained our deep learning network using a transfer learning technology. As a result of the experiment, we achieve 94.5% top-1 accuracy and 98.1% top-2 accuracy.

In this paper, we introduce the definition and concept of trusted reality (TR) technology, which is a new paradigm that is required as human communication methods change into "see-thru communication." The trends related to a TR-see-direct interface, TR-privacy, a TR-physical/cyber object/service connection, and TR-open platform technology as core technologies for realizing TR are also introduced. In addition, we present a new ICT stream that can be used to build a new ICT ecosystem for the post-smartphone era.

Since 2003, Korean government went thru biggest and the most significant 'innovation' communicating the government itself as well as its policies. Following Jo's research design conducted in 2003 (published in 2004), this study adopted a longitudinal design to see how Korean government agencies have been changed by the president 'Noh' administration. The concept, 'encroachment' has been utilized to measure professional level of public relations departments of Korean government agencies. 'Encroachment' occurs when a communication department is managed by a person without proper experience or education/training in the field of public relations. After interviewing public relations managers (19 from central agencies, 16 from local government), encroachment has been found to be 'almost not changed' while, opportunities for professional 'on the job' training increased to a certain level.
