  • Nowadays clusters are recognized as an important instrument for promoting industrial development, innovation, competitiveness and growth. An educational cluster is a set of interrelated vocational educational institutions of various levels that are united by industry with each other and are connected by partnership with industry enterprises. This article attempts to develop and describe cluster model of university students' multilingual training. The purpose of this study is to describe multilingual training of university students and their polycultural competencies formation and to define the process of multilingual training in form of a cluster. The authors consider clusters as an integral part of the educational campus within the concept framework of Shadrinsk State Pedagogical University. To determine the essence of the concept of a cluster model of university students' multilingual training, theoretical, empirical, observational, and diagnostic methods were implemented, such as a review of scientific literature, a compilation of best practices, observation, statistical methods, etc. The authors analyzed the programs of partner universities and organized international webinars and internships for bachelors and masters abroad and developed online courses "Foreign language for undergraduate students and masters". Experimental data obtained during the implementation of cluster training show the effectiveness of the formation of students' polycultural competencies.

  • This paper deals with the improving issues and methods for 119 dispatcher's work and training manual in order to improve their emergency response ability in Korea. Firstly, it was investigated and compared on manuals and training methods for the reception of emergency calls between South Korea and the USA. And then, specific improvement methods were considered by questionnaire for 95 dispatchers who work at 119 communication center in Gyeonggi-do in the basis of surveys. As a result, people and equipment related to 119 have been continuously upgraded, however, their work depend on their personal experiences and capabilities but because of the insufficient pretraining for the dispatchers. Also, the manpower is still insufficient overall compared to the work. Therefore, it is necessary to secure the expertise of the dispatchers through the systematic training program and proper training and test standards for 119 dispatchers, and to prevent errors in the logic of the situation and systematize their work by standardizing the response work and arranging appropriate manpower.

  • Smart factory of Manufacturing sector is rapidly spreading, globally. In case of domestic, it is on going based on KOSF. It is neither lack of invest nor security of information due to it has been spread from manufacturing sector. Hence, that's very difficult to efficiency prevent from new type of intimidation and security accident happened sometimes from this situation. According to research information security condition with recognized new menace, there is a most efficient way is provide education of information security without any extra budget to safely spread smart factory. Thus, this study of research has developed security awareness training curriculum from international standard, requirement of the industry, and curriculum of educational institution based on NCS (National Competency Standard). It is be very helpful to spread smart factory safely due to expert group has been test of validity.

  • Private security has the common job characteristics of the police and crime prevention, and is responsible for the safety of our society. However, the hiring process for private security is very different from that of the police. Therefore, in this study, the problems of the private security recruitment process were identified through the police recruitment process and improvement points were suggested. As a result of comparing and examining the recruitment process of the police, the recruitment of private security guards is carried out through education and training, and problems such as the training process and physical strength verification required for security work were investigated. In order to improve the problems in the private security recruitment process, the curriculum of criminal law and criminology, physical examination such as 100m running and left and right grip strength, and practical cases of security work should be added. It is hoped that this study will serve as a basic data for the development of the private security industry along with the recruitment of excellent security guards.

  • As the awareness on the information security has been well developed, there have been various studies on effective training and management of the information security workforce. But, one of the most important things for the effective training is to develop education programs based on knowledge and skills requirements for information security professionals. This study aims to analyze the required and possessed levels of knowledge and skills for information security professionals' career. For this study, we selected 71 critical knowledge and skills for information security professionals by literature review and Delphi method, and we conducted a survey of information security knowledge and skills requirements for information security professionals to perform their jobs. As a result, we analyzed the current status of the information security professionals' knowledge and skills level and suggested some guidelines for educating information security professionals by their job career.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the performance evaluation indicator of information security training program for developing the next generation of top security leaders. Through literature review and focus group interview, we derived the performance areas and indicators based on the logic model. We conducted AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) questionnaire to calculate the weight of the derived indicators, and developed the performance indicator based on the survey results. Performance indicators were composed of 18 indicators in four main categories.

  • According to the trend of increasingly sophisticated cyber threats, the need for technology research that can be applied to cyber security personnel management and training systems is constantly being raised not only overseas but also in Korea. Previously, the US and UK have already recognized the need and have been steadily conducting related research from the past. In the United States, by encouraging applications based on related research (NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework) and disclosing successful use cases to the outside, it is laying the groundwork for profiling cyber security experts. However in Korea, research on cyber security expert training and profiling is insufficient compared to other countries. Therefore, in this study, in order to create a system suitable for the domestic situation, research and analysis of cases in the United States and the United Kingdom were conducted over the past few years, and based on this, a prototype was produced for the study of profiling technology for domestic cyber security experts.

  • We are facing the situation where cyber threats such as hacking, malware, data leakage, and theft, become an important issue in the perspective of personal daily life, business, and national security. Although various efforts are being made to response to the cyber threats in the national and industrial sectors, the problems such as the industry-academia skill-gap, shortage of cybersecurity professionals are still serious. Thus, in order to overcome the skill-gap and shortage problems, we propose a Cybersecurity technical response Job Competency(CtrJC) framework by adopting the concept of cybersecurity personnel's job competency. As a sample use-case study, we implement the CtrJC against to personals who are charged in realtime cybersecurity response, which is an important job at the national and organization level, and verify the our framework's effects. We implement a sample model, which is a CtrJC against to realtime cyber threats (We call it as CtrJC-R), and study the verification and validation of the implemented model.

  • Nowadays the importance of information security has been increased because there are many benefits and threats like information leakage caused by rapid growth of information technology. It is important to apply technical solution, however enhancing security capability is more important to respond evolving security threats. Information security education is one of typical way to enhance security capability and there are various efforts at the dimension of nation, company and academic community. However it is required to analyze previous research until now and derive future research direction for long-term development plan. In this study, we analyzed a publication status about 177 papers related to information security, training and awareness from 4 foreign journals and 2 Korean journals. Additionally, we analyzed in detail about 70 papers related to information security education. As a result, the most part of study is about curriculum, and in the future, it is required to expand educational area as well as study about effectiveness measurement of information security education by experimental research.

  • E-mail is one of the important tools for communicating with people in everyday life. With COVID-19 (Coronavirus) increasing non-face-to-face activity, security incidents through e-mail such as spam, phishing, and ransomware are increasing. E-mail security incidents are increasing as social engineering attack using human psychology rather than arising from technological weaknesses that e-mails have. Security incidents using human psychology can be prevented and defended by improving security awareness. This study empirically studies the analysis of changes in response to malicious e-mail due to improved security awareness through malicious e-mail simulations on executives and employees of domestic and foreign company. In this study, the factors of security training, top-down security management, and security issue sharing are found to be effective in safely responding to malicious e-mail. This study presents a new study by conducting empirical analysis of theoretical research on security awareness in relation to malicious e-mail responses, and results obtained from simulations in a practical setting may help security work.
