A Study on the Analysis of Security Requirements through Literature Review of Threat Factors of 5G Mobile Communication

  • The 5G is the 5th generation mobile network that provides enhanced mobile broadband, ultra-reliable & low latency communications, and massive machine-type communications. New services can be provided through multi-access edge computing, network function virtualization, and network slicing, which are key technologies in 5G mobile communication. However, these new technologies provide new attack paths and threats. In this paper, we analyzed the overall threats of 5G mobile communication through a literature review. First, defines 5G mobile communication, analyzes its features and technology architecture, and summarizes possible security issues. Addition, it presents security threats from the perspective of user devices, radio access network, multi-access edge computing, and core networks that constitute 5G mobile communication. After that, security requirements for threat factors were derived through literature analysis. The purpose of this study is to conduct a fundamental analysis to examine and assess the overall threat factors associated with 5G mobile communication. Through this, it will be possible to protect the information and assets of individuals and organizations that use 5G mobile communication technology, respond to various threat situations, and increase the overall level of 5G security.

  • Nowadays, openness and accessibility of information systems increase security threats from inside and outside of organization. Appropriate password is supposed to bring out security effects such as preventing misuses and banning illegal users. This study emphasizes on choosing passwords from perspective of information security and investigated user's security awareness affecting behavioral intention. The research model proposed in this study includes user's security belief which is influenced by risk awareness factors such as information assets, threats and vulnerability elements. The risk awareness factors ale derived from risk analysis methodologies for information security. User's risk awareness is a factor influencing the security belief, attitude toward security behavior, and security behavioral intention. According to the result of this study, while vulnerability is not related to the risk awareness, information assets and threats are related to the user's risk awareness. There is a significant relationship between risk awareness and security belief. Also, user's security behavioral intention is significantly affected by security attitude.

  • 최근 사물 인터넷(internet of things) 기술은 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스(cloud computing service) 및 빅 데이터(big data)와 함께 IT분야에 이슈가 되고 있는 기술 중에 하나로, 다양한 산업분야에서 응용 및 활성화되고 있다. 이러한 동향은 유비쿼터스(ubiquitous) 시대를 실현하는데 중요한 기반 기술의 등장이라 할 수 있다. 그러나 사물 인터넷은 다양한 산업분야에서 실현되고 있는 만큼 보안 문제 또한 다양할 것으로 예상되고 있는 가운데 이에 대한 보안 위협(security threats)들에 대한 대응 방안이 강구되어야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 논문은 사물 인터넷 기술의 적용분야에 대한 사례와 이에 따른 보안 위협들을 분석해 봄으로써, 향후, 사물 인터넷의 보안 대응 방안 마련에 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

  • 본 논문은 기업 내 생성형 AI(Generative Artificial Intelligence) 시스템의 보안 위협과 대응 방안을 제시한다. AI 시스템이 방대한 데이터를 다루면서 기업의 핵심 경쟁력을 확보하는 한편, AI 시스템을 표적으로 하는 보안 위협에 대비해야 한다. AI 보안 위협은 기존 사람을 타겟으로 하는 사이버 보안 위협과 차별화된 특징을 가지므로, AI에 특화된 대응 체계 구축이 시급하다. 본 연구는 AI 시스템 보안의 중요성과 주요 위협 요인을 분석하고, 기술적/관리적 대응 방안을 제시한다. 먼저 AI 시스템이 구동되는 IT 인프라 보안을 강화하고, AI 모델 자체의 견고성을 높이기 위해 적대적 학습 (adversarial learning), 모델 경량화(model quantization) 등 방어 기술을 활용할 것을 제안한다. 아울러 내부자 위협을 감지하기 위해, AI 질의응답 과정에서 발생하는 이상 징후를 탐지할 수 있는 AI 보안 체계 설계 방안을 제시한다. 또한 사이버 킬 체인 개념을 도입하여 AI 모델 유출을 방지하기 위한 변경 통제와 감사 체계 확립을 강조한다. AI 기술이 빠르게 발전하는 만큼 AI 모델 및 데이터 보안, 내부 위협 탐지, 전문 인력 육성 등에 역량을 집중함으로써 기업은 안전하고 신뢰할 수 있는 AI 활용을 통해 디지털 경쟁력을 제고할 수 있을 것이다.

조직의 정보보안 환경이 조직구성원의 보안 준수의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Organizational Information Security Environment on the Compliance Intention of Employee)

  • Purpose Organizations invest significant portions of their budgets in fortifying information security. Nevertheless, the security threats by employees are still at large. We discuss methods to reduce security threats that are posed by employees in organization. This study finds antecedent factors that increases or decreases employee's compliance intention. Also, the study suggests organizations' security environmental factors which influences the antecedent factors of compliance intention. Design/methodology/approach The structural equation model is then applied in order to verify this research model and hypothesis. Data were collected on 415 employees working in organizations with an implemented information security policy in South Korea. We analyzed the fitness and validity of the research model via confirmatory factor analysis in order to verify the research hypothesis, then we analyzed structural model, and derived the result. Findings The result shows that organizational commitment and peer behavior increase security compliance intention of employees, while security system anxiety decreases compliance intention. And, organization's physical security system and security communication both have influence on antecedent factors for information security compliance of employees. Our findings help organizations to establish information security strategies that enhance employee security compliance intention.

A Study on the Security Technology of Real-time Biometric Data in IoT Environment

  • In this paper, the biometric data is transmitted in real time from the IoT environment is runoff, forgery, alteration, prevention of the factors that can be generated from a denial-of-service in advance, and the security strategy for the biometric data to protect the biometric data secure from security threats offer. The convenience of living in our surroundings to life with the development of ubiquitous computing and smart devices are available in real-time. And is also increasing interest in the IOT. IOT environment is giving the convenience of life. However, security threats to privacy also are exposed for 24 hours. This paper examines the security threats to biological data to be transmitted in real time from IOT environment. The technology for such security requirements and security technology according to the analysis of the threat. And with respect to the biometric data transmitted in real time on the IoT environment proposes a security strategy to ensure the stability against security threats and described with respect to its efficiency.

모바일 앱 서비스 이용 증가로 인한 보안 위협 분석 (Analysis of Security Threats from Increased Usage of Mobile App Services)

  • Recently, because the arrival of the fourth industrial revolution era, many information and telecommunication services have grown rapidly in the mobile business market. So, companies are based Mobile Apps on user customized services and expanding their services. From the standpoint of the business, to generate revenue, the company needs to maintain the existing current computer environment and develop Mobile Apps to offer convenience in various areas such as finance, admiration, e-commerce and sales support. However, as the number of users increase due to expansion of various Mobile services, security threats that are related to Mobile Apps are increasing and its damage is also increasing. Due to the rapid technological transformation of Mobile devices using the Internet, the level of security threats to Smartphones are rising and getting more advance, so this thesis is structured as follows. In Chapter 2, it will look at the overall trends of Mobile Apps as related research. In Chapter 3, it will discuss various security concerns that related to the latest Mobile Apps and learn about the threatening factors. In Chapter 4, it will compare and analyze the threatening factors. Then it will find and suggest the possible plan. In Chapter 5, it will end with conclusion. Finally, to protect mobile devices from security threats, the environment of operating system which manages the resources and data of Apps needs to be protected. Also, it is important that users to have awareness and check activation FinTech technology security in the process of simple payment with fingerprint or IC card.

  • 우리는 일상생활 가운데 사이버위협에 노출된 채 살아가고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 많은 사이버위협 및 공격은 공격자, 공격목적, 피해규모 등을 명확히 식별하기 어렵고, 단일출처의 정보에 의존하게 되어 객관성 있는 정보를 획득하는 것이 제한된다. 이에 본 연구의 선행연구에서는 공개출처정보(Open Source Intelligence, OSINT)를 활용한 사이버공격 데이터베이스(Database, DB)를 구축하기 위한 새로운 방법론을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 사이버 위협을 정량화할 수 있도록 사이버공격 DB 중 사이버 위협 평가요소를 선정하고 그 평가요소에 대한 중요도를 분석하고자 한다. 사이버공격 DB 중 사이버위협의 상대적 중요도에 영향을 미치는 평가요소로 공격목적, 공격범주, 공격대상, 공격 용이성, 공격 지속성, 공개출처정보의 빈도를 선별하고, 각 평가요소들에 대한 하위 계층의 요소들을 선정한 후 각 요소들의 중요도를 계층분석적 의사결정방법(Analytic Hierarchy Process, AHP)을 활용하여 분석하였다.

The Economic Security System in the Conditions of the Powers Transformation

  • In the article, the authors investigate the economic security system in the conditions of the powers transformation. It is substantiated that economic security acts as a certain system that includes components and at the same time acts as a subsystem of the highest order. It is determined that the economic security system of regions acting as a system has its subsystems, which include: production, financial, environmental, innovation, investment and social subsystems. The parameters of the economic security system include relative economic independence, economic stability and self-development of economic systems, and it is proved that an important feature of economic security in addition to its systemic nature is multi-vector. It is substantiated that the monitoring of ensuring the economic security system of the development of economic systems of different levels in the conditions of the powers transformation should contain the analysis of social, economic and ecological development of regions; spheres of possible dangers of the development of regional economic systems; the nature of the threats; the degree of the possibility of threats; time perspective of economic development threats; possible consequences of losses for economic entities; the impact of threats to the object of the economic entities' activity; possible asymmetry of economic development of regional economic entities. Possible threats as a consequence of the powers transformation have been identified. A PEST analysis of the impact of factors of different nature on economic security and the development of regional economic systems in the powers transformation is carried out. A recurrent ratio is proposed for the economic security system in the conditions of the powers transformation.

공개출처정보의 정량화를 이용한 인공신경망 기반 사이버위협 예측 모델 (Cyber Threats Prediction model based on Artificial Neural Networks using Quantification of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT))

  • 사이버공격은 최근 몇 년간 더욱 더 진화하고 있다. 이렇게 고도화, 정교화된 사이버위협에 대응하기 위한 최선의 대책 중 하나는 사이버 공격을 사전에 예측하는 것이다. 사이버위협을 예측하기 위해서는 많은 정보와 노력이 요구되며 최근 정보획득의 핵심인 공개출처정보(Open Source Intelligence, OSINT)를 활용한다면 사이버위협을 보다 정확히 예측할 수 있을 것이다. 공개출처정보를 활용하여 사이버위협을 예측하기 위해서는 공개출처정보로부터 사이버위협 데이터베이스의 구축과 구축된 DB에서 사이버위협을 평가할 수 있는 요소를 선정하는 것이 선행되어야 한다. 이를 위해 데이터마이닝 기법을 활용하여 DB를 구축하고, 축적된 DB 요소 중 핵심요소에 대한 중요도를 AHP 기법으로 분석한 선행연구를 기초로 하였다. 본 연구에서는 공개출처정보로부터 축적된 사이버공격 DB를 활용하여 사이버위협을 정량화할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고 인공신경망을 기반으로 한 사이버위협 예측 모델을 제안한다.
