  • Breast cancer screening makes extensive utilization of mammography. Even so, there has been a lot of debate with regards to this application's starting age as well as screening interval. The deep learning technique of transfer learning is employed for transferring the knowledge learnt from the source tasks to the target tasks. For the resolution of real-world problems, deep neural networks have demonstrated superior performance in comparison with the standard machine learning algorithms. The architecture of the deep neural networks has to be defined by taking into account the problem domain knowledge. Normally, this technique will consume a lot of time as well as computational resources. This work evaluated the efficacy of the deep learning neural network like Visual Geometry Group Network (VGG Net) Residual Network (Res Net), as well as inception network for classifying the mammograms. This work proposed optimization of ResNet with Teaching Learning Based Optimization (TLBO) algorithm's in order to predict breast cancers by means of mammogram images. The proposed TLBO-ResNet, an optimized ResNet with faster convergence ability when compared with other evolutionary methods for mammogram classification.

  • In order to facilitate the private maritime security system with high quality guard services, the status of private security companies and the security instructor system which has been operated in land side, are analyzed. Through screening the spectrums of private maritime security and analyzing the status of maritime security guard, the characteristics and expertise of maritime guard service, and it's system need are elicited. we propose the system of marine civil guard officer who will play a major role in private maritime security domain, and design the job requirements, the subjects of qualification test and the education program to enhance his professionalism and practicality. Moreover, the enactment of a provision on marine guard company in Marine guard law will be the platform to develop a private maritime security industry and to strengthen international competitiveness through supervising and piloting private guard service at sea by Korea coast guard.

  • This paper introduces an approach of Hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization(HPSO) for a security-constrained economic dispatch(SCED) with line flow constraints. To reduce a early convergence effect of PSO algorithm, we proposed HPSO algorithm considering a mutation characteristic of Genetic Algorithm(GA). In power system, for considering N-1 line contingency, we have chosen critical line contingency through a process of Screening and Selection based on PI(performance Index). To prove the ability of the proposed HPSO in solving nonlinear optimization problems, SCED problems with nonconvex solution spaces are considered and solved with three different approach(Conventional GA, PSO, HPSO). We have applied to IEEE 118 bus system for verifying a usefulness of the proposed algorithm.

  • Terahertz electromagnetic waves are considered the waves for the next generation of security checking technology. They can penetrate opaque materials, such as plastics, fibers, papers, and leathers. In addition, they are harmless to humans they cannot penetrate human skins. Moreover, because their frequencies are higher than those of millimeter waves, higher resolution and more detailed information is expected than the millimeter wave-based technologies In this study, we describe the trends and prospectives of terahertz technology as security checking technology that can be directly applied to a human body.

  • In this fast-paced technological world, the Internet of Things is a ground breaking technology which finds an immense role in the present electronic world which includes different embedded sensors, devices and most other things which are connected to the Internet. The IoT devices are designed in a way that it helps to collect various forms of data from varied sources and transmit them in digitalized form. In modern era of IoT technology data security is a trending issue which greatly affects the confidentiality of important information. Keeping the issue in mind a novel light encryption strategy known as LCB is designed for IoT devices for optimal security. LCB exploits the benefits of Feistel structure and the architectural benefits of substitution permutation network both to give more security. Moreover, this newly designed technique is tested on (Virtex-7) XC7VX330T FPGA board and it takes much little area of 224 GE (Gate Equivalent) and is extremely fast with very less combinational path delay of 0.877 ns. An in-depth screening confirms the proposed work to promise more security to counter cryptographic attacks. Lastly the Avalanche Effect (AE) of LCB showed as 63.125% and 63.875% when key and plaintext (PT) are taken into consideration respectively.

  • In our current information focused society, information is regarded as a core asset and the leakage of customers' information has emerged as a critical issue, especially in financial companies. It is very likely that the technology that safeguards which is currently in commercial use is not focused at an enterprise level but is fragmented by function or by only guards portions of a customer's personal information. Therefore, It is necessary to study the systems which monitor the indicators of access at an enterprise level in order to preemptively prevent the compromise of such data. This study takes an enterprise perspective on such systems for a financial company. I will focus on examination of the methods of implementation of the monitoring system, the application of pattern analysis and examination of Security Risk Indicators (SRI). A trial of the monitoring system provided security managers and related departments with proper screening capabilities of information. Therefore, it is possible to establish a systemic counter-plans based on detectable patterns.

  • The smart screening in the medical field as diffusion of smart devices and development of communication technologies is emerging some medical security concerns. Among of them its necessary to taking risk management measures to identify, evaluate and control of the security risks that can occur in Telemedicine because of the Medical information interchanges as Doctor to Doctor (D2D), Doctor to Patient (D2P). This research paper studies and suggests the risk analysis and evaluation methods of risk security that can occur in Telemedicine based on the verified results of Telemedicine system and equipment from the direct site which operating in primary clinics, public health centers and it's branches, etc.

  • Today, the volume of international trade by airplanes and ships is rapidly increasing, and the volume of trade over land is expected to increase as inter-Korean relations change. In customs processes, humans inspect using the naked eye; therefore, computer vision technology can be used to assist customs inspectors responsible for X-ray security screening. In particular, because of recent advances in deep learning technology, algorithms for image understanding and object detection performance are improving, and studies on their application to X-ray screening have been published. This manuscript describes trends in artificial intelligence X-ray image-reading technology to detect prohibited items. X-ray inspection AI technology is similar to the Sphinx, which was the guardian of the pyramids in ancient Egyptian mythology.

  • Recently software security of the smart phone is an important issue in the field of information science and technology due to fast propagation of smart technology in our life. The smart phone as the security critical systems which are utilizing in terminal systems of the banking, ubiquitous home management, airline passengers screening, and so on are related to the risk of costs, risk of loss, risk of availability, and risk by usage. For the security issues, software hazard analysis of smart phone is the key approaching method by use of observed failures. In this paper, we propose an efficient integrative framework for software security analysis of the smart phone using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) to gain a convergence security and reliability analysis technique on hand handle devices. And we discuss about that if a failure mode effect analysis performs simpler, not only for improving security but also reducing failure effects on this smart device, the proposed integrative framework is a key solution.

  • According to the Annex 17 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation, an appropriate authority of each contracting state has to define and allocate tasks and coordinate activities between the departments, agencies and other organizations of the State, airport and aircraft operators and other entities concerned with or responsible for the implementation of various aspects of the national civil aviation security programme. The airport has to take leading role in implementing security tasks at airport area because the airport operator is the provider of airport facilities and services to its customer and the security activities belong to its services. So Republic of Korea Government enact the Law, Aviation Safety and Security. The Purpose of this Act is to prevent any unlawful act in airport facilities with international conventions, including the ICAO to provide for standards, procedures and mandatory matters needed to ensure the safety and security of civil aviation. But the Act has some error. So is this paper to review the revision of aviation security regulation and the changes of aviation security responsibilities and task assignment. There is the term "aviation security personnel", who are charged with the task of preventing any act of disrupting the order and safety in airport. But there is no term "security screening personnel" who performs to detect or search for dangerous object, such as weapons or explosives, which may be used for the unlawful obstruction.
