Just work, Passkey Entry, Out of Band, 그리고 Numeric Comparison 방식으로 구분된다.

Leakage of secret keys may be the most devastating problem in public key cryptosystems because it means that all security guarantees are missing. The forward security mechanism allows users to update secret keys frequently without updating public keys. Meanwhile, it ensures that an attacker is unable to derive a user's secret keys for any past time, even if it compromises the user's current secret key. Therefore, it offers an effective cryptographic approach to address the private key leakage problem. As an extension of the forward security mechanism in certificate-based public key cryptography, forward-secure certificate-based signature (FS-CBS) has many appealing merits, such as no key escrow, no secure channel and implicit authentication. Until now, there is only one FS-CBS scheme that does not employ the random oracles. Unfortunately, our cryptanalysis indicates that the scheme is subject to the security vulnerability due to the existential forgery attack from the malicious CA. Our attack demonstrates that a CA can destroy its existential unforgeability by implanting trapdoors in system parameters without knowing the target user's secret key. Therefore, it is fair to say that to design a FS-CBS scheme secure against malicious CAs without lying random oracles is still an unsolved issue. To address this problem, we put forward an enhanced FS-CBS scheme without random oracles. Our FS-CBS scheme not only fixes the security weakness in the original scheme, but also significantly optimizes the scheme efficiency. In the standard model, we formally prove its security under the complexity assumption of the square computational Diffie-Hellman problem. In addition, the comparison with the original FS-CBS scheme shows that our scheme offers stronger security guarantee and enjoys better performance.
In recent years, significant improvements have been made to the techniques used for analyzing satellite communication and attacking satellite systems. In 2003, a research team at Los Alamos National Laboratory, USA, demonstrated the ease with which civilian global positioning system (GPS) spoofing attacks can be implemented. They fed fake signals to the GPS receiver so that it operates as though it were located at a position different from its actual location. Moreover, Galileo in-orbit validation element A and Compass-M1 civilian codes in all available frequency bands were decoded in 2007 and 2009. These events indicate that cryptography should be used in addition to the coding technique for secure and authenticated satellite communication. In this study, we address this issue by using an authenticated key-exchange protocol to build a secure and authenticated communication channel for satellite communication. Our protocol uses identity-based cryptography. We also prove the security of our protocol in the extended Canetti-Krawczyk model, which is the strongest security model for authenticated key-exchange protocols, under the random oracle assumption and computational Diffie-Hellman assumption. In addition, our protocol helps achieve high efficiency in both communication and computation and thus improve security in satellite communication.

Recently power attacks on RSA cryptosystems have been widely investigated, and various countermeasures have been proposed. One of the most efficient and secure countermeasures is the message blinding method, which includes the RSA derivative of the binary-with-random-initial-point algorithm on elliptical curve cryptosystems. It is known to be secure against first-order differential power analysis (DPA); however, it is susceptible to second-order DPA. Although second-order DPA gives some solutions for defeating message blinding methods, this kind of attack still has the practical difficulty of how to find the points of interest, that is, the exact moments when intermediate values are being manipulated. In this paper, we propose a practical second-order correlation power analysis (SOCPA). Our attack can easily find points of interest in a power trace and find the private key with a small number of power traces. We also propose an efficient countermeasure which is secure against the proposed SOCPA as well as existing power attacks.

Due to the wide application of fifth generation communication, wireless sensor networks have become an indispensable part in our daily life. In this paper, we analyze physical layer security for two-way relay with energy harvesting (EH), where power splitter is considered at relay. And two kinds of combined methods, i.e., selection combining (SC) and maximum ratio combining (MRC) schemes, are employed at eavesdropper. What's more, the closed-form expressions for security performance are derived. For comparison purposes, this security behaviors for orthogonal multiple access (OMA) networks are also investigated. To gain deeper insights, the end-to-end throughput and approximate derivations of secrecy outage probability (SOP) under the high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) regime are studied. Practical Monte-Carlo simulative results verify the numerical analysis and indicate that: i) The secure performance of SC scheme is superior to MRC scheme because of being applied on eavesdropper; ii) The secure behaviors can be affected by various parameters like power allocation coefficients, transmission rate, etc; iii) In the low and medium SNR region, the security and channel capacity are higher for cooperative non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) systems in contrast with OMA systems; iv) The systematic throughput can be improved by changing the energy conversion efficiency and power splitting factor. The purpose of this study is to provide theoretical direction and design of secure communication.
Recently, many power analysis attacks have been proposed. Since the attacks are powerful, it is very important to implement cryptosystems securely against the attacks. We propose countermeasures against power analysis attacks for elliptic curve cryptosystems based on Koblitz curves (KCs), which are a special class of elliptic curves. That is, we make our countermeasures be secure against SPA, DPA, and new DPA attacks, specially RPA, ZPA, using a random point at each execution of elliptic curve scalar multiplication. And since our countermeasures are designed to use the Frobenius map of KC, those are very fast.

In this paper, we investigate physical layer security for multiple decode-and-forward (DF) relaying underlay cognitive radio networks (CRNs) with fixed transmit power at the secondary network against passive eavesdropping attacks. We propose a simple relay selection scheme to improve wireless transmission security based on the instantaneous channel information of all legitimate users and the statistical information about the eavesdropper channels. The closed-form expressions of the probability of non-zero secrecy capacity and the secrecy outage probability (SOP) are derived over independent and non-identically distributed Rayleigh fading environments. Furthermore, we conduct the asymptotic analysis to evaluate the secrecy diversity order performance and prove that full diversity is achieved by using the proposed relay selection. Finally, numerical results are presented to verify the theoretical analysis and depict that primary interference constrain has a significant impact on the secure performance and a proper transmit power for the second transmitters is preferred to be energy-efficient and improve the secure performance.
