It is said that global business education in Korea must be a kind of good investment on the future of Korea, because Korea's degree of dependence upon global trade is very high. But, despite great significance of trade in economic aspect, education system on global business in Korea still remains in old paradigm focused mainly on trade in goods. The purpose of this paper is to analyse key environment of trade in Korea relating to global business education system, and to suggest some trade-friendly measures to improve the global economic environment being worse. Methodology used in this study depends on descriptive analysis by literature study. As all the paradigm of global business has shifted from 20C's trade environment to that of 21C's and still more borderless trend has progressed, it is high time Korea to design the new education system of global business to conform with the trade mode of Korea, and to execute the mode of strategic trade which is new conception of trade strategy derived from Web 2.0 trend. Major findings of this study can be summarized as follows : It is suggested that Korea should convert basic composition of trade strategy to strategic trade irrespective of company size, nationality, public or private sector, etc., and launch new instructional model considering the trade 2.0 concepts. Also, Korea's trade policies which have been based on 'trade in goods' should be changed to the frame of strategic trade so that can include various trade process such as trade in services, trade in technology, cultural contents, global investment(TRIMs), TRIPS, etc.

Purpose: This study aims to investigate the impact of investing into technology development on banking performance in an emerging country. Research design, data and methodology: Based on the data of 12 commercial banks listed in Vietnam from 2011 to 2019 and performing multivariable regression analyses as well as conducting a variety of robustness tests, we carry out the empirical investigation to discover this impact. Results: Our empirical evidence shows that these spending help to improve significantly performance of banks. Particularly, the technology expenditures have positive effect on the net interest margin and the non-interest income in which the level of influence on the latter is relatively remarkable in comparison with the former. At the same time, the result does not support the view that increasingly spending on technology may lead banks to face the risk of instability. Conclusions: Overall, our empirical analysis indicates that increasing investment into distribution information and communication technologies will help to enhance business strategies of banks and thus we advocate the bright side of technology development and digitalization in banking sector. We believe that the research is useful for both managers, regulators and policy makers in Vietnam as well as in countries having similar financial structure.

In recent years, the knowledge service industry is getting much attention in terms of the role as new growth driver and employment creation sector whereas the overall potential growth rate in Korea has been slowed due to reduced investment and employment in manufacturing sector. This study examines how the knowledge service industry contributes to economic development and employment creation by analyzing the structure transition pattern of the knowledge service industry from 1995 to 2010 and suggests, based on these results, some policy implications for the industry's development. It turns out that the knowledge service industry greatly contributes to total production increase and employment creation during the period of 1995 to 2010. Special strategy for increase in labor productivity will be required for the knowledge service industry to contribute consistently as growth driver and employment creation sector since production increase rate and growth contribution level have been gradually decreased while employment growth rate and its contribution level have been consistently increased in the knowledge service industry.
Current status of the domestic food industry and major issues are reviewed, and some problems derived from the R&D aspect are analyzed. Particularly, the role of the public sector and the direction of R&D are presented in order to enhance the vitality of the food industry and strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses. At first, the government needs to provide a consistent R&D roadmap through macroscopic coordination, and public institutes and private companies should come up with practical and concrete collaborative measures. It is also necessary to set the investment direction for food R&D in the public sector, taking into account the strategic importance of core technology and the global level difference, targeting on basic research and public platform technology. More efforts to discover agendas focused on food technology and link them to large-scale R&D projects are urgently needed to solve national and social problems through food research.

The domestic automotive industry must consider a strategic shift from traditional automotive component manufacturing to align with future trends such as connectivity, autonomous driving, sharing, and electrification. This research conducted topic modeling on R&D projects in the future automotive sector funded by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy from 2013 to 2021. We found that topics such as sensors, communication, driver assistance technology, and battery and power technology remained consistently prominent throughout the entire period. Conversely, topics like high-strength lightweight chassis were observed only in the first period, while topics like AI, big data, and hydrogen fuel cells gained increasing importance in the second and third periods. Furthermore, this research analyzed the areas of concentrated investment for each period based on topic-specific government investment amounts and investment growth rates.
ASEAN is emerging as the next-generation market following BRICs. Korea is also an important economic cooperation partner as a second trading partner and third target for overseas investment. ASEAN is attracting attention as an attractive business place for many companies as a future investment area in the future. Therefore, the Korean government is strongly promoting a "New Southern Policy(NSP)" to develop cooperative relations with ASEAN. As ASEAN has recently emerged as a central area for shipping and logistics development, development cooperation and support for the shipping and logistics sector in the ASEAN region of neighboring countries are also active in entering the new southern region and the government is supporting it. In order to enter these countries, it is necessary to accurately understand the investment attraction system, strategy, and market for entering the business in other countries. Among the various methods of entering the overseas market, it is essential to understand the business selection and establishment method suitable for localization strategies such as foreign direct investment and establishment of foreign corporations. In order to understand the Overseas Investment Act and the Corporate Establishment Act of shipping and logistics-related companies who want to enter marine ASEAN countries, we will study the overseas investment method and the establishment method according to the type of company.

COVID-19 is hitting the world. In order to bring about new ways of innovation in the space sector, we need to analyze changes in the space sector and design new challenge strategies. COVID-19 exposes inherent vulnerabilities in the space sector. In particular, COVID-19 is causing supply chain shocks in the space industry, resulting in delays in the supply of systems, subsystems and parts due to a complete or partial interruption of a manufacturing unit. As the overall impact of New Normal on the industry is overall, we continue to look at it in the space sector. COVID is causing supply chain shock in the space industry. It causes a delay in the supply of systems, subsystems and parts due to a complete or partial interruption of a manufacturing unit. In the supply of launch services, the launch schedule is being delayed, but the main launch is still taking place. Demand for major applications such as environmental monitoring is soaring in the earth observation utilization sector. Analyzing the impact on manufacturing, the vendor-based contraction is bringing delays in the supply of systems, subsystems and components, and launch service providers are trying to minimize delays in the launch schedule.
