Constancia mine is a deposit developed within Andahuaylas-Yauri Cu-Mo-Au metallogenic belt, southeastern Peru and is located in the southwestern part of Abancay deformation zone structurally as the porphyry copper deposit type. Mineralized zone in Constancia mine are composed of leached zone, secondary enrichment zone(ca. 1% Cu), mixed zone, primary mineralized zone(ca. 0.5%), skarn zone(ca. 1.5% Cu) from the upper part. Main country rock is monzonitic porphyry. Leached zone are characterized by the precipitation of limonite and looks brown in the outcrop. Oxidized zone have green due to the occurrence of copper oxide and secondary enrichment zone are characterized by the occurrence of chalcocite. Skarn zone are characterized by the occurrence of magnetite and garnet. Now, Hudbay, Canadian mining company, have 100% share about Constancia mine and started to produce commercially from January, 2015.
Two new species of the genus Luffariella (Dictyoceratida: Thorectidae), L. tubula n. sp. and L. koreana n. sp. were collected from Jeju-do, Korea. These species differ significantly from the previously reported five species in terms of shape and skeletal structure. L. tubula n. sp. has two categories in thickness of secondary fibres which were different from other species. L. koreana n. sp. is very similar to L. variabilis from Tahiti in skeletal structure, but differs in sponge shape with irregular branching and indistinct surface conules. Primary fibres of the two new species are separated from secondary and tertiary fibres.
Four new species of the genus Hyattella (Dictyoceratida: Spongiidae); H. sinchangensis n. sp., H. mara n. sp., H. chuja n. sp. and H. lendenfeldi n. sp., were collected from Jeollanam-do and Jeju-do, Korea. Hyattella sinchangensis n. sp., H. mara n. sp., H. chuja n. sp. and H. grobosa Lendenfeld, 1889 are very similar to each other in some characters. However, Hyattella sinchangensis n. sp. characterized by no special dermal lamella and no tertiary fibres, and more thin secondary fibres than H. globosa. Hyattella mara n. sp. is differs in having well developed dermal lamella, slightly fasciculated primary fibres, and thick tertiary fibres. Hyattella chuja n. sp. differs in surface characters with a slightly elevated part, skeleton with abundant spongine, and very complex meshes. Hyattella lendenfeldi n. sp. is similar to H. tenella (Lendenfeld, 1889) in skeletal structure, thickness of primary and secondary fibres, but differs in growth form.

Background/Aims: Victim advocates are at risk of developing secondary traumatic stress (STS), which can result from witnessing or listening to accounts of traumatic events. This study investigated the relationship between victim status, years of experience, hours of direct contact with victims, and availability of workplace supports in the development of STS. Results: Of the 142 victim advocates, 134 were women. Regression analyses revealed that the only significant predictor of STS was the number of direct hours of victim services provided. Conclusion: The findings from this study found that women have high rates of STS and that more workplace support needs to be implemented.
Five new species of the genus Hyattella (Dictyoceratida: Spongiidae) were collected from Jejudo and Gageodo, Korea: Hy. gukheulensis n. sp., Hy. regularis n. sp., Hy. lenis n. sp., Hy. membrana n. sp., and Hy. asper n. sp. Hyattella gukheulensis n. sp. is similar to Hy. munseomensis Sim et al., 2015 in shape, but differs in skeletal structure. Hyattella regularis n. sp. is close to Hy. bakusi Sim et al., 2015 but differs in regular secondary fibres at the surface membrane. Hyattella lenis n. sp. is unique by having numerous windings at the surface. Hyattella membrana n. sp. is similar to Hy. bakusi Sim et al., 2015 in shape, but differs in surface and skeletal fibres. Hyattella asper n. sp. is close to Hy. lendenfeldi Sim and Lee, 2014 in skeletal fibres, but differs in thin secondary fibres. This new species has numerous dense cored primary fibres.

Here, we report the whole-genome sequence of Myxococcus stipitatus KYC2006, a bacterium whose conditioned media affect the growth of photosynthetic microorganisms such as cyanobacteria and microalgae. The genome of M. stipitatus KYC2006 was assembled into a 10,311,252 bp circular genome with 68.5% of GC content, containing 7,949 protein-coding genes, 12 rRNA genes, and 79 tRNA genes. Further analysis revealed that there are 29 secondary metabolite biosynthetic gene clusters in M. stipitatus KYC2006. These results suggest that M. stipitatus KYC2006 holds a significant potential as a resource for research on the development of biocontrol agents and value-added products from photosynthetic microorganisms.

We investigated the antifungal activities of an endophytic fungus identified as Acaromyces ingoldii, found on a loblolly (Pinus taeda L.) pine bolt in Louisiana during routine laboratory microbial isolations. The specific objectives were to determine the inhibitory properties of A. ingoldii secondary metabolites (crude extract) on the mycelial growth of a brown-rot fungus Gloeophyllum trabeum and a white-rot fungus Trametes versicolor, and to determine the effective concentration of A. ingoldii crude preparation against the two decay fungi in vitro. Results show the crude preparation of A. ingoldii from liquid culture possesses significant mycelial growth inhibitory properties that are concentration dependent against the brownrot and white-rot fungi evaluated. An increase in the concentration of A. ingoldii secondary metabolites significantly decreased the mycelial growth of both wood decay fungi. G. trabeum was more sensitive to the inhibitory effect of the secondary metabolites than T. versicolor. Identification of specific A. ingoldii secondary metabolites, and analysis of their efficacy/specificity warrants further study. Findings from this work may provide the first indication of useful roles for Acaromyces species in a forest environment, and perhaps a future potential in the development of biocontrol-based wood preservation systems.

In this research, we quantified the environmental load while using and not using secondary resources. During the process of primary processed product of metal resources (copper, aluminum), we applied LCA technique and analyzed by dividing into 8 environmental impact categories that affect the environment. Furthermore, we analyzed the greenhouse gas that occur during the process of primary processed product domestically and globally according to the changes of each metal resource's recycling rate. Consequently, when producing 1 ton of copper using secondary resources, the environmental effects were found to be 6.09E + 01 person-yr/f.u. and 7.23E + 01 person-yr/f.u. Additionally, as the recycling rate increased both globally and domestically, the amount of greenhouse gas decreased. Producing 1 ton of Aluminum using secondary resources, the environmental effects were found to be 2.34E + 02 person-yr/f.u. and 3.01E + 02 person-yr/f.u. Moreover, as the recycling rate domestically decreased, the amount of greenhouse gas increased, however the globally was decreased.

A optimal procedure for plant production via repetitive secondary somatic embryogenesis in Tilia amurensis is described. Somatic embryos were induced directly from the culture of zygotic embryos on medium with 1.0 mg/l 2,4.-D. Repetitive secondary somatic embryos formed on the surface of the cotyledons and hypocotyls except for the radicles when explants of somatic embryos were cultured on medium with 4.0 mg/l 2,4-D. The highest frequency of secondary embryo-genesis was obtained in the cotyledons (90%) and hypocotyls(83.33%) on MS medium with 1.0 mg/L 2,4-D. The average number of secondary embryos per explant was 25.74 in cotyledon and 24.92 in hypocotyl. When the cotyledon and hypocotyl segments from somatic embryos at different developmental stages were cultured on MS medium with 1.0 mg/L 2,4-D, the highest frequency of secondary embryogenesis was obtained from late cotyledonary secondary embryos. Somatic embryos were transferred to MS basal medium and then they germinated within 2 to 4 weeks of culture. Germinated somatic embryos grew normally into plantlets on WPM medium, producing new shoots. The converted plantlets were acclimatized on artificial soil mixture. These results indicate that the repetitive secondary somatic embryogenesis in T amurensis can offer the possibility to use in vitro culture system for the micropropagation.
