New Backstepping-DSOGI hybrid control applied to a Smart-Grid Photovoltaic System

  • In order to overcome the power fluctuation issues in photovoltaic (PV) smart grid-connected systems and the inverter nonlinearity model problem, an adaptive backstepping command-filter and a double second order generalized Integrators (DSOGI) controller are designed in order to tune the AC current and the DC-link voltage from the DC side. Firstly, we propose to present the filter mathematical model throughout the PV system, at that juncture the backstepping control law is applied in order to control it, Moreover the command filter is bounded to the controller aiming to exclude the backstepping controller differential increase. Additionally, The adaptive law uses Lyapunov stability criterion. Its task is to estimate the uncertain parameters in the smart grid-connected inverter. A DSOGI is added to stabilize the grid currents and eliminate undesirable harmonics meanwhile feeding maximum power generated from PV to the point of common coupling (PCC). Then, guaranteeing a dynamic effective response even under very unbalanced loads and/or intermittent climate changes. Finally, the simulation results will be established using MATLAB/SIMULINK proving that the presented approach can control surely the smart grid-connected system.

부가성 잡음이 존재하는 모노펄스 시스템 성능의 3차 테일러 전개 기반 해석적 분석 (Performance Analysis of Monopulse System Based on Third-Order Taylor Expansion in Additive Noise)

  • 본 논문은 가산성 잡음이 존재할 경우 모노펄스 알고리즘의 성능분석을 해석적으로 분석한 연구이다. 이전 연구에서는 1차 테일러 급수 전개와 2차 테일러 급수 전개를 통한 진폭비교 모노펄스 알고리즘의 해석적 성능 분석을 진행했다. 본 연구에는 3차 테일러 전개기반 해석적 분석법을 적용하여 1차 및 2차 테일러 근사기반의 해석적 분석보다 실제 모노펄스 알고리즘의 성능 분석 결과에 다가가는 것을 보인다. 성능분석은 평균제곱오차(Mean Squre Error)을 통해 분석되며 몬테카를로(Monte-Calro) 방법을 통한 시뮬레이션 MSE와 3차 테일러 근사기반 해석적 MSE를 서로 비교한다. 3차 테일러 근사기반 해석적 MSE를 적용하였을 경우, 이전 연구에서 제안된 2차 테일러 근사기반의 해석적 MSE의 오차를 89.5% 감소시킨다. 또한 몬테카를로 기반 MSE보다 모든 경우에서 빠른 결과를 보인다. 해당 연구를 통해 잡음 재밍이 적용된 환경에서 모노펄스 레이더의 추정 각도 능력을 명시적으로 분석이 가능하다.

진폭비 불일치에 의한 cross-eye 재밍 성능: 각도 추적 오차 성능 분석 비교 (Performance of cross-eye jamming due to amplitude mismatch: Comparison of performance analysis of angle tracking error)

  • 본 논문에서는 cross-eye의 두 재밍 안테나의 진폭 불일치로 인한 성능 저하를 고려한다. 진폭비의 불일치는 기계적 결함에 따른 실제 진폭비와 명목상 진폭비의 차이가 정규분포를 갖는 랜덤변수로 모델링한다. 1차 테일러 전개와 2차 테일러 전개를 통한 해석적 성능분석이 제안된다. 실제 진폭비와 명목상 진폭비의 불일치가 발생한 Cross-eye 재밍의 성능 측정은 mean square difference (MSD)를 계산함으로서 측정된다. 해석적으로 유도된 MSD는 1차 테일러 전개 기반 시뮬레이션 기반 MSD 및 2차 테일러 전개 기반 시뮬레이션 기반 MSD와 해석 기반 MSD와 비교함으로써 검증된다. 계산비용이 높은 Monte-Carlo기반 MSD보다 해석 기반 MSD가 우수함을 보인다.

  • 본 연구는 VM열펌프를 구성하는 2개 재생기의 특성을 동시에 고려하여 해석하 고자 시도되었다. 먼저, 기존의 유동 및 열전달모델들을 비교, 검토하여 VM열펌프용 재생기 특성에 부합되는 해석모델을 선정한다. 선정된 해석모델을 2차해석법(second -order method)의 개념에 의거, 실제 열펌프에 적용하여 작동조건 및 설계인자에 따른 재생기의 성능변화를 고찰한다. 여기서 2차해석법의 개념은 이상화된 전체시스템에 대한 해석결과로부터 압력, 질량유량 등 필요한 기본변수를 구하여 이들을 재생기특성 해석에 적용하는 접근방법으로서 재생기특성과 작동유체거동 사이의 상호작용은 고려 되지 않는다. 해석과정에서의 구체적인 계산은 각 구성요소에 대한 제원이 비교적 상세히 공개된 Schulz열펌프를 대상으로 수행하며 전술한 기본변수는 이미 발표된 VM사이클에 대한 단열해석법으로부터 구한다.

  • The Cartan's second curvature tensor Pijkh is a positively homogeneous of degree-1 in yi, where yi represent a directional coordinate for the line element in Finsler space. In this paper, we discuss the decomposition of Cartan's second curvature tensor Pijkh in two spaces, a generalized 𝔅P-recurrent space and generalized 𝔅P-birecurrent space. We obtain different tensors which satisfy the recurrence and birecurrence property under the decomposition. Also, we prove the decomposition for different tensors are non-vanishing. As an illustration of the applicability of the obtained results, we finish this work with some illustrative examples.

  • The suspension is a structure that supports reading, writing head in information storage device. In order to develop the information storage device of high track density, it is necessary to study about the suspension. To satisfy operation condition of information storage device, the suspension shape is very important since it correlates to dynamic characteristics. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the dynamic characteristics by using finite element analysis and to optimize the suspension of information storage device using size optimization and topology optimization. The suspension has various modes according to different kinds of frequency bandwidth. Sway mode and second torsion mode are especially critical among them. In this paper, we investigated method to improve bandwidth of sway and second torsion mode of HDD and ODD suspension by using size optimization and topology optimization.

Use of Crown Feature Analysis to Separate the Two Pine Species in QuickBird Imagery

  • Tree species-specific estimates with spacebome high-resolution imagery improve estimation of forest biomass which is needed to predict the long term planning for the sustainable forest management(SFM). This paper is a contribution to develop crown distinguishing coniferous species, Pinus densiflora and Pinus koraiensis, from QuickBird imagery. The proposed feature analysis derived from shape parameters and first and second-order statistical texture features of the same test area were compared for the two species separation and delineation. As expected, initial studies have shown that both formfactor and compactness shape parameters provided the successful differentiating method between the pine species within the compartment for single crown identification from spaceborne high resolution imagery. Another result revealed that the selected texture parameters - the mean, variance, angular second moment(ASM) - in the infrared band image could produce good subset combination of texture features for representing detailed tree crown outline.

가상 경계 방법을 이용한 유동 해석 기법에 관한 기초 연구 (The Basic Study on the Technique of Fluid Flow Analysis Using the Immersed Boundary Method)

  • In most industrial applications, the geometrical complexity is combined with the moving boundaries. These problems considerably increase the computational difficulties since they require, respectively, regeneration and deformation of the grid. As a result, engineering flow simulation is restricted. In order to solve this kind of problems the immersed boundary method was developed. In this study, the immersed boundary method is applied to the numerical simulation of stationary, rotating and oscillating cylinders in the 2-dimensional square cavity. No-slip velocity boundary conditions are given by imposing feedback forcing term to the momentum equation. Besides, this technique is used with a second-order accurate interpolation scheme in order to improve the accuracy of flow near the immersed boundaries. The governing equations for the mass and momentum using the immersed boundary method are discretized on the non-staggered grid by using the finite volume method. The results agree well with previous numerical and experimental results. This study presents the possibility of the immersed boundary method to apply to the complex flow experienced in the industrial applications. The usefulness of this method will be confirmed when we solve the complex geometries and moving bodies.

자연배출량이 수도권 고농도 오존 사례에 미치는 영향범위 추정: 2004년과 2007년 6월 사례를 중심으로 (Estimating Influence of Biogenic Volatile Organic Compounds on High Ozone Concentrations over the Seoul Metropolitan Area during Two Episodes in 2004 and 2007 June)

  • Biogenic Volatile Organic Compound (BVOC) emissions are estimated with BEIS3.12 (Biogenic Emissions Inventory System version 3.12) over the Seoul Metropolitan Area (SMA) and then used in CMAQ (Community Multiscale Air Quality) simulations for two high ozone episodes in 2004 and 2007 June. The first- and second-order sensitivity coefficients of ozone to BVOC emissions are estimated with High-order Decoupled Direct Method (HDDM) simulation in order to estimate the influence of BVOC emissions on ozone using the Zero-Out Contribution (ZOC) approach. ZOC analysis shows that relative contribution of BVOC emissions on daily maximum 1-hr ozone is as high as 30% for high ozone days above 100 ppb. However simulated isoprene concentrations were over-estimated by a factor of 2 when compared to the observations at the PAMS (Photochemical Air Monitoring Station) for the 2007 episode. When assumed that actual BVOC emissions are 50% less than estimated, the ZOC of BVOC emissions on daily maximum ozone drops by more than 10 ppb for the episode. The result indicates that uncertainty in BVOC emissions may have significant impact on high ozone prediction in the SMA.

The Relationships among Coffeehouse's Physical Environment, Self-Congruity, Positive Emotion, and Revisit Intentions

  • This study sought to describe the relationships among physical environment, self-congruity, positive emotion, and revisit intentions in the coffeehouse setting. This study adopted second-order factor of physical environment in a structural equation model, imploying trend(fashion), cleanliness, reliability, spatial, convenience, and appropriacy as the second-order factors. The conceptual model in this study used responses from 338 college students who visited coffeehouse at least once in the past month. The proposed relationships were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 6.0. The results of data analysis indicated that the six secondorder factors of physical environment significantly affected coffeehouse visitor's self-congruity and positive emotion, and self-congruity as well as positive emotion significantly influenced revisit intentions. Further discussion and theoretical/practical implications of the findings along with directions for future studies are provided. In essence, the findings highlight significant role of coffeehouse's physical environment toward self-congruity and positive emotion in the formation of customer's revisit intentions in the coffeehouse context.
