  • This Paper is about landing control of legged robot. Body stiffness and damping is used as landing strategy of a legged robot. First, we only used stiffness control method to control legged robot landing. Second control method, sliding mode controller and feedback linearization controller is applied to enhance position control performance. Through these control algorithm, body center of gravity behaves like mass with spring & damping in vertical direction on contact regime.

  • We consider transmission over body area networks. Due to the difficulty in assessing an accurate statistical model valid for multiple scenarios, we advocate a system design technique favoring robustness. Our approach, which is based on results in [12] and generalizes them, examines the variation of a performance metric when the nominal statistical distribution of fading is replaced by the worst distribution within a given Kullback-Leibler divergence from it. The sensitivity of the performance metric to the divergence from the nominal distribution can be used as an indication of the design robustness. This concept is applied by evaluating the error probability of binary uncoded modulation and the outage probability-the first parameter is useful to assess system performance with no error-control coding, while the second reflects the performance when a near-optimal code is used. The usefulness of channel coding can be assessed by comparing its robustness with that of uncoded transmission.

  • This study is the primary basic study about the spatial feature of modeling of Fashion Design. Then, this researcher lays significance in establishing the basic system about the character of dress and its ornaments as modeling in spatial-formal, dimension, examining the feature of modeling closely through perception principle and offering the basic principle to plan and organize the modeling space for dress and its ornaments on the basis of it. To generalize the findings is as follows : First, the spatial system of modeling for dress and its ornaments is made with 3 elements such as space, human beings and dress and its ornaments. Second, the form of dress and its ornaments and the spatial organization start from the structural basis which is human body, and the sensible system of body is made through inter-action, but the aesthetic expression is complet-ed by the moment of body. Third, the characteristic principle of model-ing for dress and its ornaments which was suggested in Chapter IV is based on the visuo-per-ceptional modeling experience, and these thinking contents are inputted in cognition course as the invisible in formation in the new space plan and organization and activate the apperception course and aim at the action about aesthetic judgement.

  • The effect of helminthiasis on zinc metabolism was monitored using endogenous $^{65}Zn$ after intraperitoneal injection of 1 g of $^{65}Zn$ as zinc chloride. In the first experiment zinc turnover was investigated in 18 male weanling rats, which were randomly divided into 3 groups. One group was infected with 73 third stage larvae of Nippostrongylus brasiliensis per gram body weight ; the other groups were the pair-fed and ad lib-fed controls. The route of loss of zinc was investigated in the second experiment with the same design using 18 animals with a lower dose of infection (33 larvae per gram body weight). The biological half life of endogenous $^{65}Zn$ was lower (p<0.05) in the infected group as compared to the controls. In the later phase of infection (9th to 16th day) there was reduced retention of $^{65}Zn$ and increased loss (p<0.05) of $^{65}Zn$ from the body though urine and faeces. It was concluded that infection of N. brasiliensis was accompanied by increased loss of endogenous Zn through faeces and urine.

  • The study is about practical use of the computer program developed to obtain more efficient and accurate photographic measurement of body. Measuring measurements automatically using this program, the observational errors can be reduced considerably, so that the accuracy of photographic measurement are improved. The program has several functions as follow; First, free rotation of body by horizontal and perpendicular control of photo data. Second, recognition of body outline of photo data and automatic measuring of 45 basic items as well as freehand measuring of height, width, depth, angle. Third, obtaining database of photographic measurements of each subject without additional process such as data input.

  • The second-order steady horizontal force and vertical moment are derived for a freely-floating body in water of finite depth. Momentum relations are used in terms of the Kochin function in the fluid region far from the body. The general results look very similar to those for deep water. The water depth is formally reflected in terms of the ratio between the phase and group velocities of incident waves. Computations are made for a Series 60 hull($C_B=0.6$) and are compared with the corresponding results of deep water. It is shown that the vertical drift moment for slender ships becomes completely free from water depth when the wave-ship length ratio is taken as parameter.

  • The analysis of the absolute growth in seven body parts of crayfish (Cumbaroides similis Koelbel), such as carapace length, carapace width, abdominal length, abdominal width, sheliped length, second pereiopod length and third pereiopod length (the grolwth formula, y : a + bt ~ci applied) was performed. The results obtained are as follows: 1. The analyses of changing growth quantity for the seven body parts in both sexes showed concave shaped increase. 2. The largest ratios of the grourth quantity in both sexes were revealed in abdominal width (18.3677 times in male and 18.9253 times in female). 3. The srolwth rates of the seven body parts in both sexes showed a smooth increasing pattern. 4. 각B the sperifn'cgrouch rates revealed a decreasing pattern, moreover steep descendent patterns of it appeared in abdominal length of both sexes and abdominal width in male.

  • For the analysis of the relative grouch of six body pans, such as carapace width. abdominal length, abdominal width, cheliped length, second pereiopod length and third pereiopod length, to the carapace length of crayfish (Comboroides similis Koelbel), the equation Y = bXa were applied. The results were as follows: 1. In the relative srourth of each body part to the carapace length, abdominal width and abdomial length in both sexes showed as positive allometrv, the third pereiopod length in both sexes as isometry and the rest shouted as negative. The least coefficient of the relative growth was found in cheliped length in female (0.9300).2. The grolwth gradient of each body part to the carapace length in each sex revealed decreasing pattern in abdominal length and third pereiopod length in both sexes and the abdominal width in male with the growth centers on the initial growth period. and the rest showed increasing pattern with the growth centers on the 6th growvth period except the abdomini,d uridth in female on the 3rd growth period.

  • The Psychology of putting on clothes has close relation with sexuality, and eroticism is important in clothing. Present article aims to understand eroticism correctly and to make it evaluated as an art in modern fashion and as an aesthetic to express woman\`s beauty. Modern eroticism in fashion may be divided into direct, indirect and symbolic expression made. The result are as follow: First, direct made, a representation of desire into direct, indirect and symbolic expression of body or physical curve with tight garment. Second, indirect made, a see-though technique using association, represents sexual appeal by imagination on body area hidden by clothes made of see-through material. And third symbolic made express sexual libido by representing body area or clothes which symbolizing woman\`s sexuality using materials like fur or silk. Eroticism in modern clothing, therefore, should be understood as a beauty that is expressed by human artistic desire. Further studies are needed to explain the characteristics of eroticism in every culture because human nature is apt to from diverse kind of cultures.

  • An implicit method of solving the six degree-of-freedom rigid body motion equations based on the second order Adams-Bashforth-Moulten method was utilised as an improvement over the leapfrog scheme by making modifications to the rigid body motion solver libraries directly. The implementation will depend on predictor-corrector steps still residing within the hybrid Pressure Implicit with Splitting of Operators - Semi-Implicit Method for Pressure Linked Equations (PIMPLE) outer corrector loops to ensure strong coupling between fluid and motion. Aitken's under-relaxation is also introduced in this study to optimise the convergence rate and stability of the coupled solver. The resulting coupled solver ran on a free floating object tutorial test case when converged matches the original solver. It further allows a varying 70%-80% reduction in simulation times compared using a fixed under-relaxation to achieve the required stability.
