  • This study analyzes and classifies dresses by fashion designers worn in 10 fashion show seasons for haute-couture finales over the last five years(from 2011 S/S to 2015 F/W). The analysis of dresses are divided into 6 sections: classic image brands, new launching brands, designer's image changing brands, continuous image brands, reentry collections brands, and non-continuous participated collection brands. In addition, fashion designer dress types based on this analysis are as follows. First, the type of individual image displayed positively appeals individual identity in fashion shows when wearing clothes like a fashion icon or model. Second, the type of personality orientation shows the personal image of the fashion designer rather than a brand image when expressing a favorite dress. Third, the type of reflecting the season trend shows seasonal trends by wearing a similar dress that match with the fashion show theme. Fourth, the type of consistent brand image means a dress by a fashion designer that meets a characteristic image of a brand that appeals to many people. Fifth, the type of original and typical fashion designer is a casual style(like a shirt and pants) that most people consider a fashion designers dress when leading and operating their own fashion show.

  • Distribution patterns of sandy bottom macrobenthic communities were studied around the Hupo coastal area. The seasonal surveys were conducted at 15 chosen sites within a depth range of 10 to 50 m along 10 km of the coastline using a Smith-McIntyre grab $(0.05\;m^2)$ in 2005. Overall depth distribution following the direction of the offshore become deeper parallel to the coastline. A total of 319 macrobenthic species were sampled with a mean density of $1,972\;ind./m^2$, and mean biomass was 82.5 wet-weight $g/m^2$. The major individual-dominant species were three polychaetes Spiophanes bombyx ($436\;ind./m^2$), Scoletoma longifolia ($250\;ind./m^2$) and Magelona japonica ($170\;ind./m^2$), and bivalve Adontorhina subquadrata ($73\;ind./m^2$). Cluster analysis and non-metric multidimensional scaling (nMDS) analysis based on Bray-Curtis similarity identified 2 major station groups which corresponded to macrobenthic faunal assemblages and their characteristic species. In addition, environmental conditions were significantly different between station groups. Group I contained mostly 20 and 50 m deep sites and was associated with sandy mud. Group I was characterized by high abundance of S. bombyx, S. longifolia, A. subquadrata. It was divided into two sub-groups (I-I and I-II) in relation to depth. Sub-group I-I was associated with deeper sites than sub-group I-II. Group II included mostly inshore area shallower than 15 m and was associated with coarse and medium sand. Group II was characterized by Lumbrinerides hayashii and Urothoe grimaldii japonica.

  • The statistical tools such as empirical orthogonal function (EOF), and singular value decomposition (SVD) have been applied to analyze the characteristic of air pollutant over southeast Asia as well as to evaluate Zimeke's tropospheric column ozone (ZTO) determined by tropospheric residual method. In this study, we found that the EOF and SVD analyses are useful methods to extract the most significant temporal and spatial pattern from enormous amounts of satellite data. The EOF analyses with OMI $NO_2$ and OMI HCHO over southeast Asia revealed that the spatial pattern showed high correlation with fire count (r=0.8) and the EOF analysis of CO (r=0.7). This suggests that biomass burning influences a major seasonal variability on $NO_2$ and HCHO over this region. The EOF analysis of ZTO has indicated that the location of maximum ZTO was considerably shifted westward from the location of maximum of fire count and maximum month of ZTO occurred a month later than maximum month (March) of $NO_2$, HCHO and CO. For further analyses, we have performed the SVD analyses between ZTO and ozone precursor to examine their correlation and to check temporal and spatial consistency between two variables. The spatial pattern of ZTO showed latitudinal gradient that could result from latitudinal gradient of stratospheric ozone and temporal maximum of ZTO in March appears to be associated with stratospheric ozone variability that shows maximum in March. These results suggest that there are some sources of error in the tropospheric residual method associated with cloud height error, low efficiency of tropospheric ozone, and low accuracy in lower stratospheric ozone.

  • The basic principles in the "Spleen-stomach theory(脾胃論)" sets up the phases and roles of spleen-stomach (脾胃) by establishing Earth(地 坤 土) and exposing the reality of spleen-stomach(脾胃) of human body which has its own shape and form with Heaven's reality exhibited. The meaning of Earth is based on the constant meaning of Earth in 'Earth Original-Earth as extended and stable ground(坤元一正之土)' giving form and shape, and Earth's movement with circulation, then exposes itself as 'Earth as plowing land(耕種之土)' concerning both the application of Five Phases and the physical characteristics of Earth. The Yin-Yang recognition on Earth is revealed as Yin Earth(陰土)-Yang Earth(陽土). Spleen(脾) was established as Yin Earth(陰土) and Stomach(胃) as Yang Earth(陽土). The seasonal assignment of Earth is Indian Summer(長夏), which is divided from Summer, and becomes Heat(熱), and the Yin-Yang recognition of Earth comes to be the meaning of the center and border. According to the Five Phasic recognition, it becomes Earth(土) and gets to be Dampness(濕) in accordance with Six Qi(六氣). 'Extreme Yin(至陰)' indicates Qi's status exposing the fundamental meaning regarding the role of creating, changing, and propelling Spleen-Stomach(脾胃) as a characteristic Yin Earth. Earth comprehends 'Four Courses(四維)' meaning, recognizes them as four parts of the 12 Earth's Branches(辰戌丑未) and the terminals of four seasons(四季之末), and has the meaning of the president of the change in four seasons. The theory of principle in the "Spleen-stomach theory(脾胃論)" stands on the basis of the 'Form Qi theory(形氣論)' and that of 'Upbearing, Downbearing, Floating, and Sinking theory(升降浮沈論)'. It manifests the theory of movement in the interaction between Form(形) and Qi(氣), and 'Qi Interior Form Exterior(氣裏形表)' indicates that Qi(氣) moves interiorly and Form(形) exteriorly.

  • The present study was conducted to investigate the biochemical and serologic characteristic of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae isolated from pneumonic lungs of pigs during the period from January 1992 to April 1993. A pleuropneumoniae was isolated from 17(27.0%) of 63 growing pigs with respiratory signs and 21(6.4%) of 330 pneumonic lungs of slaughtered pigs. The seasonal isolation frequency of A pleuropneumoniae was higher in winter and spring than that in summer or fall. The biochemical and cultural properties of A pleluropneumoniae isolated from the pneumonic lungs of pigs were identical to those of the reference strains used. The isolates were highly susceptible to ampicillin, cephalothin, ceftiofur, ciprofloxacin(MIC : ${\leq}0.39{\mu}g/ml$) and moderately susceptible to amikacin, chloramphenicol, erythromycin, kanamycin, methicillin, penicillin-G, streptomycin(MIC : 0.78~25IU or ${\mu}g/ml$), respectively. Sulfadimethoxine, sulfamerazine, tylosine showed no response to the isolates(MIC : ${\geq}100{\mu}g/ml$). Among the 38 isolates, 21(55.3%) and 13(34.2%) were resistant to oxytetracycline aid lincomydn, respectively(MIC : ${\geq}50IU$ or ${\mu}g/ml$). The majority of 38 A pleuropneumoniae isolates were turned out as serotype 2(47.4%) or serotype 5(54.7%) and the remaining 3 isolates were evenly classified to serotype 7, 10 or 12. It was noted A pleuropneumonine serotype 5 isolates were more resistant to oxytetracycline than serotype 2 isolates.

  • Based on the existing pollutant emissin standards which are armed at the pollutant concentration of each pollution source, government formulated and implemented new management system of total water pollutant emission. By virtue of this new management system, pollution loading amount of individual watershed could be controlled, which achieved the requirement of water quality management such as TP and BOD. In initiate stage of it's implement, BOD was selected as object of water quality management, While it's necessary to consider the continuity of water quality data and established pollutant management laws and policy. During the ongoing management, TP management was added into the system while simply BOD management was not enough. However, the frequency of algae bloom in Han-river showed a trend of same, even though TP was treated as additional control target. Therefore, this paper will analyze different water quality parameters and characteristic of water quality, so that this study can be provide as reference for watershed management of water quality, by which the applicable management period and target pollutant can be selected in the future.

  • The planktonic algal communities of the Han River with a particular emphasis on water pollution was studied over a twelve month of period. Results of observing many algal communities from 7 stations of the Han River have shown that these communities are generally composed of many species, most of which have relatively small populations with a few exceptional dominant species. The distribution of the total standing crop of phytoplankton in the studid area is characteristic, summer in the polluted zone. Diversity indices of all samples were computed and have shown that the H values of 7 stations are relatively low. However, a detailed examination of these H values reveals that the seasonal fluctuations of the species diversity remarkably coincide with those fo phytoplankton standing crop.No reduction in the species diversity at stations 4, 5, 6, and 7 where the water is heavily polluted indicates that a great number of species capable of invading stations, 4, 5, and 6 from the various tributaries, and the station 7 from the contaminated with sea water are probably more important in the functional changes of the communities than the size of sampling area. It is evident that the diversity index in a lotic environment does not indicate water quality as far as phytoplankton communities are concerned.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the image of color of 230university students. In this paper, the degree of preference of for Blue, White were higher than those of others. There was a difference among individuals for the hatred color. It was considered Yellow as spring. Blue as summer and White as winter about the seasonal color, but the range of color image was wide for the color of autumn. White, Grey and Black like achromatic colors have a proper image, black has a positive image in particular. In case of 12 chromatic colors, Red, Yellow, Blue and Yellow Green have a proper image. In particular, Red was shown the same image but Blue was shown the contradiction image as compared with the preceding studies. Green, one of the primary colors(Red, Green, Blue) of light sources, has not a characteristic image.

  • This study was conducted to confirm if spatial distribution of macrobenthic fauna were related with sedimentary characteristics. Sedimentary characteristics were compared in each community after carrying of community analysis based upon species composition. Macrobenthic animals were distinguished with 4 communities based on the tidal level, of which 3 communities were divided into two groups on the sediment composition. Common species which were presented in all communities, Nephtys californiensis Hartman 1938, Haploscoloplos elongatus Johnson 1901, Glycera sp., Heteromastus sp. Notomastus sp. Timarete amtarctica Mono 1930, Glysinde sp., Lumbrineris japonica Marenzeller 1879 were having different appearance densities at each community area caused by different sedimentary characteristics. But only two species among the common species have a correlation significantly. Temporal variation of common species could not be recognised because of 4 times of seasonal investigation was not enough know their life cycles. So, in the future more frequently sampling method should be required.

  • The interannual variability of the water masses was analyzed from the CTD data measured in the tropical northwestern Pacific from 2006 to 2014. There are two typical water masses NPTW and NPIW that reveal the interannual variability in the survey area, in addition to two other water masses; the surface water mass TSW with a large seasonal variability and the deep water mass AACDW with a constant temperature-salinity characteristic at the depths deeper than 2,000 meters. In 2012 and 2014 NPTW was the most widely extended horizontally and thicker than 100 meters vertically, which was found over the entire survey area. However, NPTW was reduced and became much narrower in 2009 than in the other years. NPIW seemed to expand southwards from the north of $21^{\circ}N$ to $15^{\circ}N$ in 2008 and in 2012, which showed the salinity minimum in 2013 (< 34.15 psu). The sea surface height estimated by Absolute Dynamic Topography (ADT) approximately along $135^{\circ}E$ section showed the high peaks (> $1.45dyn{\cdot}m$) between $16^{\circ}N$ and $18^{\circ}N$ during the periods between 2007 and 2009 and between 2012 and 2013; the former peak lasted wider and longer in latitude and time (about three times) than the latter. The vertical section of the geostrophic currents in the upper 1,000 meters shows that there was a mesoscale pattern of repeated eastward and westward flows a few times in some years (2010 and 2014), which seemed to disappear in some other years (2008 and 2012); the former was closely related to the mesoscale eddies and the latter implied the pattern with the permanent currents. The persistent eastward flow between $17^{\circ}N$ and $19^{\circ}N$ seems to be related to the Subtropical Countercurrent (STCC).
