메타버스와 NFT 비즈니스 모델현황 및 고려사항 (Metaverse and NFT Business Model Trends and Considerations)

  • The combination between metaverse and non-fungible token (NFT), which opens up new opportunities for the media industry, raised expectations for a new economic system and business model. Of course, last year, various institutions and researchers continuously introduce representative metaverse services and business strategies such as Roblox, Fortnite, and ZEPETO. However, as 2022 progresses, the reaction to the metaverse is tepid than expected. Search volume on Google has been continuously decreasing. Furthermore, skepticism, regarded as one of the special phenomena caused by the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic, is expanding since December 2021. Nevertheless, analysis or contemplation of a new business model related to the metaverse, which is still ongoing, is essential for those who must prepare for the future. The reason is that even if without being activated now, advanced preparation can help when various problems arise. In this study, we look at the metaverse and NFT biz models and estimate a picture of the future. In other words, the social and economic problems that may arise when the business model is expanded are summarized, and technical and policy measures are derived as solutions.

  • As the scale of research and development (R&D) increases, countries and companies are consistently establishing R&D directions to meet strategic goals and market demands as well as roadmaps to increase efficiency through concentration and selection. However, establishing an effective roadmap and discovering promising technologies are challenging under the current numerous technological possibilities and uncertainties. The importance of discovering promising technologies to secure future technological competitiveness is recognized worldwide, and Europe, the United States, and Japan are establishing processes to identify promising future technologies and support related R&D. Methods for discovering promising future technologies can be classified into future social needs analysis, forecasting, surveys, use of expert opinions, and data analysis. We describe the types and limitations of technology roadmaps and investigate the status of domestic and foreign organizations using weak signal search through quantitative data analysis.

  • 모바일 비주얼 검색(MVS: Mobile Visual Search) 기술은 스마트폰 환경에서 질의 영상의 특징을 검출하고 그 주변 영역의 정보를 이용하여 추출한 서술자를 미리 구축된 영상정보 DB와 비교하여 검색하는 기술로 스마트폰의 보급과 네트워크 환경발달에 따라 응용서비스의 범위와 가능성이 확대되고 있다. 본 동향에서는 기존의 텍스트, 음성, QR코드 등의 검색을 넘어 인간이 보는 그대로를 검색하고자 하는 모바일 비주얼 검색의 기술 및 표준화 동향을 분석하고 향후 전망에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다.

  • 국내외에서 아이폰, 안드로이드폰 등과 같은 스마트폰으로 촉발된 모바일 혁명의 시대에서도 사용자들이 가장 많이 사용할 것으로 예상되는 모바일 검색(mobile search) 기술에 대해 설명하고자 한다. 모바일 환경에 특화된 검색 서비스를 제공하기 위한 기술에 대해 소개하고, 현재 이슈가 되고 있는 관련 기술 동향을 분석한다. 모바일 검색이 갖는 특징과 유선 인터넷 환경의 검색과의 차별점에 대해 알아보고, 이러한 차별점을 부각시킬 수 있는 기술에 대해 설명한다. 구글 야후 MS를 포함한 국외 검색 서비스 사업자와 네이버, 다음 등 국내 포털의 모바일 검색 관련 서비스에 대해 소개한다.

  • The roll printing technique is the updated technology which will substitute a existing lithography technique for a field of the display such as LCD, PDP, OLED and FED etc. Currently, the patent trend analysis about research and development of the different enterprises are demanded, because it is forecast that the dominion of display market will be exchanged by research and development result of roll-printing technique. In this presentation, it is analyzed on patent trends applied the roll printing technique for a field of the display such as LCD, PDP, OLED and FED etc in Korea and Japan by the various methods.

스마트공항과 차세대 보안검색 기술 (Smart Airport and Next Generation Security Screening Technology)

  • Airport is shifted airport 1.0 to airport 4.0 called smart airport and services paradigm is changed into direction to point the customer targeted benefits. Smart airports make use of integrated Internet of Things components to provide added-value services. By integrating smart components, airports are being exposed to a larger attack surface and new attack vectors. Self-services such as web or mobile check-in, self check-in/tagging/back drop/boarding, etc. should be strengthened to make airport processes smarter, and technologies such as automatic immigration, smart security search, and automatic AI-based baggage search should be applied. In this paper, we describe the necessity and importance of smart airports and next generation security screening technology. Further, we describe a walk through-type smart security screening system.

  • Globally, South Korea is a country that has a lot of $CO_2$ emissions and has steadily increased its total greenhouse gas emissions since the 1990s. With the recent implementation of the carbon emission trading system in Korea, the importance of calculating $CO_2$ emissions of construction equipment is increasing, hence the need for accurate calculation of environmental penalties through allocating carbon emission rights. This study presents a methodology to predict the price of carbon credits using big data analysis method. This methodology is based on correlating and regression analysis of trends in carbon emission prices and search volumes. This study aims to support faster and more accurate budget calculations in the planning of the construction process based on the predicted price of carbon emission rights.

  • Technosignature, previously known as SETI(search for extraterrestrial intelligence), is the scientific evidence of past or present extraterrestrial civilizations. Since NRAO's Project Ozma was performed in 1960, most of the noticeable technosignature searches have been done by radio telescopes, hoping to find strong and narrow bandwidth signals that cannot be explained by known natural processes. Recently, the Breakthrough Listen project has opened a new opportunity for technosignature by utilizing both optical telescopes, radio telescopes, and next-generation radio telescope arrays. In this review, mainly based on NASA Technosignatures Workshop (2018), we review the current trends of technosignature surveys, as well as other possible methods for detecting technosignature. Also, we suggest what the Korean community could contribute the technosignature research, including the new SETI project with Korea VLBI Network (KVN).

음양오행의 수리모델 연구동향 (Trends in research on mathematical models for Yin-Yang and the Five Elements)

  • This article examines the trend of research on mathematical modeling of Yin-Yang and the Five Elements. Through the search engine Google and the library search service of Kyung Hee University, papers that mathematically studied the Yin-Yang Five Elements were searched. Among them, 7 cases published in academic journals were selected and briefly mentioned in the table. And we introduced specific details about four of them. The model format expressing the five elements as a nonlinear system of differential equations was discussed and evaluated.

침 관련 근거중심의학의 연구 동향 - Randomized Controlled Trial을 중심으로 - (Research Trends in Evidence Based Medicine on Acupuncture -Randomized Controlled Trial-)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to review the recent research trends of evidence based medicine, especially human randomized controlled trials on acupuncture. Methods : The articles were collected by retrieving the database of Pubmed and Journal of Korean Acupuncture & Moxibustion Society. The retrieving period was from October 2003 to September 2008, and the search term was 'acupuncture'. The articles were classified according to their publication journals, countries, publication years, targeted diseases, types of acupuncture and types of control. Results : In total, 558 articles in Pubmed and 35 articles in Journal of Korean Acupuncture & Moxibustion Society were searched. The number of articles on acupuncture research has increased with higher rate since 2000, but the Qualitative development has not achieved the same amplitude. Studies in Korea were insufficient both in Qualitative and Quantitative aspects. In countries, China had the most papers, and in targeted diseases, pain diseases were most dominant. In the types of acupuncture, classical acupuncture, and in the types of control, conventional western treatment showed the highest frequency. Conclusions: We need to do many-sided and more high Quality researches on acupuncture. For that, well-designed randornized trials are absolutely necessary.
