The purpose of this research is to build a database structure that can be useful for evidence-based medical practices by constructing the knowledge related to oriental medicine in the classical literature knowledge in a form that can utilize new forms of information technology. As a method, "database" is used as a keyword to search published studies in the field of oriental medicine, research is conducted on classic literature knowledge, and studies describing the contents of the data structure are found and analyzed. In conclusion, the original text DB for the preservation of the original texts and the presentation of the supporting texts should include 'Contents Text', 'Tree Structure', 'Herbal Structure', 'Medicine Manufacture', and 'Disease Structure' tables. In order to search, calculate, and automatically extract expressions written in the original text of the old literature, the tool DB should include 'Unit List', 'Capacity Notation List', 'CUI', 'LUI', and 'SUI' tables. In addition, In order to manage integrated knowledge such as herbal, medicine, acupuncture, disease, and literature, and to implement a search function such as comparison of similarity of control composition, the knowledge DB must contain 'dose-controlled medicine name', 'dose-controlled medicine composition', 'relational knowledge', 'knowledge structure', and 'computational knowledge' tables.

These days' mobile phones and their improved multimedia limits making it powerful enough to handle complicated tasks. Image processing related support for mobile devices is extremely comprehensive in mobile cyber museum. A key technical challenge is how to achieve the best-perceived image quality and transmitting data between client and server with given the limited screen size and display bit-depth of the mobile devices. This paper targets image processing features such as capturing rendering zooming, panning and image rotation for 360o view and customized algorithm related image processing with variety of search method i.e. alphabetical, visual search.

In this article, we look into the present status of Korean mathematics and stress the importance and the need of research on its history. Some researches on it have been done by Hong, though not known to the world. We search some of the ways of activating the research on Korean mathematics history and introducing it to the world.

Objectives : Type analysis and comparison among three decades are done on papers published in The Journal of Korean Acupuncture and Moxibustion from the inaugural issue to the last issue of 2013, Vol 30(5). Methods : Journal search engine at 'theacpuncture' and 'kamms' were used. Issues not searched in these two search engines were not included in the analysis. Results : The number of journals in the thirty years of the journal history included 2081 articles. For type analysis of the articles, experiment articles outnumbered other types with 743 papers followed by 564 review articles, 601 clinical articles, and 156 case articles. In comparison among three decades, recent ten years outnumbered the other types with 1060 papers followed by 853 papers in the middle decade and 168 papers at the initial decade. Conclusion : In the thirty years of the journal history, the research has become more actively done in the recent decade.

It is the well-known truth that processing of raw information is needed to a certain extent during information search. Especially for Oriental Medical information, it becomes much clearer that even more complex processing is necessary. As a means of reducing such complexity, this study suggests a way to understand effectively the organic relationships among information found on the interface. In this process, 'knowledge-based archaeological' method has been used. A new concept of interface observed by this research is the study of a system which contains realistically considered knowledge-based archaeological and historical specificity. These models are organized so that search results could be materialized in different tree-structured interface models, which can help one understand the relationships among wanted search results at one glance and confirm the details of those results via mouse click. Strength of the vertical tree structure resides in its capability of suggesting its users clear historical relationship between separate Oriental medical information. The horizontal tree structure enables deeper understanding of sectional interrelationship of searched information. The strength of the prescription tree structure is that it helps one understand the lineage of prescriptions, as Oriental medicinal treatment is often summarized into changes in prescriptions.

This paper introduces the design and implementation of product search support agent for an efficient Internet shopping. In existing shopping malls, electronic catalogs provide the product information by subject or keyword, or the buying information by purchasing history. This proposed product search support agent system is designed to analyze navigating patterns of customers, extract more effective buying information with regard to the current trend in customer navigating . In conclusion, this product search support agent can propose more suitable buying information to customers that he can be proposed to make purchases more efficiently.

Web 2.0 시대의 대표적인 콘텐츠인 UCC와 Learning 콘텐츠를 접목시킨다면, 효과적인 지식공유와 습득을 유도할 수 있을 것이다. 두 콘텐츠를 접목시켰을 때 일어날 수 있는 전문성과 신뢰성, 저작권법 관련 등의 문제점을 효과적으로 해결하기 위한 방안으로 History 검색을 제안한다. 또 그에 따른 메타데이터 설계와 데이터 검색방법을 제안한다. 효율적인 UCC기반 Learning history 검색을 위해서 reference 요소관리가 가능하도록 DB를 설계하였다. 저작도구를 이용하여 제작된 Learning UCC는 reference 요소를 통해 소스 콘텐츠에 관한 정보를 가지고 올 수 있으며, reference DB에 저장된 정보에 따라, 사용자에게 reference에 관한 정보들을 효과적으로 제공 할 수 있다. 저작도구를 사용해야 한다는 제한성과 검색 효율성을 보다 개선한다면 Learning UCC를 관리하기 위한 효과적인 시스템이 될 것이다.

The aim of this study is to create a catalogue of amnesia synonyms in Traditional Korean Medicine for database utilization. A two-staged literature search was carried out. First, two databases(China National Knowledge Infrastructure:CNKI, Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System:OASIS) were searched for eligible articles, and a set of candidate words was identified from the articles. Second, the candidate words were searched in 30 medical classics to check the frequency of use. As a result, 9 candidate words including 喜忘(huimang), 善忘(seonmang), 多忘(damang), 好忘(homang), 健忘(geonmang), 遂忘(sumang), 遺忘(yumang), 忘事(mangsa), and 易忘(imang) were identified from the 10 eligible articles. Among the 9 candidate words, 健忘(geonmang) was a descriptor and 7 other words including 喜忘(huimang), 善忘(seonmang), 多忘(damang), 好忘(homang), 遂忘(sumang), 遺忘(yumang), 忘事(mangsa) were non-descriptors. 易忘(imang) was not an adequate synonym for amnesia.

Time history dynamic structural analysis is a time consuming procedure when used for large-scale structures or iterative analysis in structural optimization. This article proposes a new methodology for approximate prediction of extremum point of the response history via wavelets. The method changes original record into a reduced record, decreasing the computational time of the analysis. This reduced record can be utilized in iterative structural dynamic analysis of optimization and hence significantly reduces the overall computational effort. Design examples are included to demonstrate the capability and efficiency of the Reduced Record Method (RRM) when utilized in optimal design of frame structures using meta-heuristic algorithms.

As the internet and computer technology are developed, there is a need for service of traditional culture that can effectively search and create culture, history, and tradition-related materials in online contents. In this paper, we developed an RDF-based ontology retrieval service platform and verified usability and validity. This platform is divided into triple search, keyword search, network graph search, story search and management, curation management module. Based on this, the search results can be visualized based on the relationship between data, network graph search and story search can be used to easily understand the relationship between the keywords. An platform evaluation was conducted for verification, and it was evaluated that an intelligent search that can easily identify the relationship between information and shorten the analysis and search time than the existing search function.
