스마트폰을 이용한 여행지 맛집 검색 앱 활용에 관한 연구 (Study on the utilization of Travel site Matjip (Reputable Restaurant) search application(APP) using Smart Phone)

  • 본 논문은 여행지에서 스마트폰을 이용해 맛집을 검색하여 방문하는 앱을 수행해 봄으로써 스마트폰의 활용도를 높였다. 구현된 앱을 가지고 맛집을 검색하면 최적의 맛집을 선택할 수 있다. 특히 본 앱은 각 지역별로 적합한 메뉴, 식당의 스타일 및 디자인, 가격의 합리성, 종업원의 인적서비스 및 위생 관리 등의 활용도 및 만족도를 통하여 평가되고 입력된 정보를 미리 DB에 등록해 두고 개인적인 취향을 기록해 두기 위해 평점을 분류해서 입력하도록 배치하였으며, 본인의 추억을 기록할 입력란을 추가해 두었다. 더불어 교통편에 대한 정보 필드도 설계하여 여행의 접근성도 높였으며, 향후 여행지 맛집은 물론 유명 관광지, 지인의 집 정보 입력 등으로 DB를 확장해서 활용 가능하다.

An exploratory analysis and usability evaluation of fashion mobile applications - Focus on Korea and U.S. App stores -

  • The aim of this study was to find typology of fashion-related mobile applications through exploratory investigation and to investigate differences in Korea and U.S. App stores. And then, through the qualitative evaluation about fashion mobile applications, this study proposes fashion mobile application's design and contents which can be preferred by users. By conducting keyword search in each store, 122 Korean applications and 150 US applications were analyzed. Empirical findings revealed that there were seven major types of fashion mobile applications: brand, magazine, information, SNS, game, shopping and coordination. Information type applications took up the largest portion, and SNS and game type applications showed higher ranking among customers. There were more game Apps in US and more shopping Apps in Korean stores. More free Apps were found in Korean App stores, whereas relatively more paid Apps were found in US App stores especially in game, magazine and information type applications. And as a result of usability evaluation of fashion mobile application, users prefer SNS and information category application to shopping and brand category. Also users want continuous improvement and new contents for fashion mobile application.

Google Play Malware Detection based on Search Rank Fraud Approach

  • Google Play is one of the largest Android phone app markets and it contains both free and paid apps. It provides a variety of categories for every target user who has different needs and purposes. The customer's rate every product based on their experience of apps and based on the average rating the position of an app in these arch varies. Fraudulent behaviors emerge in those apps which incorporate search rank maltreatment and malware proliferation. To distinguish the fraudulent behavior, a novel framework is structured that finds and uses follows left behind by fraudsters, to identify both malware and applications exposed to the search rank fraud method. This strategy correlates survey exercises and remarkably joins identified review relations with semantic and behavioral signals produced from Google Play application information, to distinguish dubious applications. The proposed model accomplishes 90% precision in grouping gathered informational indexes of malware, fakes, and authentic apps. It finds many fraudulent applications that right now avoid Google Bouncers recognition technology. It also helped the discovery of fake reviews using the reviewer relationship amount of reviews which are forced as positive reviews for each reviewed Google play the android app.

인공지능 검색 서비스 활용에 따른 서비스 사용성 평가: 네이버 앱을 중심으로 (Usability Evaluation of Artificial Intelligence Search Services Using the Naver App)

  • 4차 산업 혁명 시대에 인공지능은 IT 기업을 중심으로 기업들의 핵심 사업 전략이 되고 있다. 그리고 국내외 주요 포탈 기업들 또한, 인공지능 기반의 검색 서비스를 출시하고 있다. 인공지능 검색 서비스는 이미지 음성과 같은 비정형 데이터를 활용하며 검색 패러다임을 확장시켰다. 하지만 기존의 텍스트 기반의 검색 서비스와 다른 인터페이스를 제공한다. 익숙하지 않은 인터페이스는 서비스의 사용성을 저해할 수 있는 요소로, 인공지능 검색 서비스를 이용에 따른 사용성에 변화를 알아볼 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 네이버앱 8.9.3 베타버전을 사례로 인공지능 검색 서비스를 실험한다. 실험은 네이버앱 사용 경험이 있는 20대와 30대 30명을 대상으로, 네이버앱의 인공지능 검색 서비스인 스마트 렌즈, 스마트 보이스, 스마트 어라운드, AiRS 추천 콘텐츠의 사용성을 기존의 네이버앱 검색과 비교하여 평가한다. 실험분석 결과, 기존의 네이버앱 검색과 비교하여 통계적으로 유의미한 사용성 변화가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 스마트 렌즈, 스마트 보이스, 스마트 어라운드는 양(+)의 상관관계가, AiRS 추천 콘텐츠는 음(-)의 상관관계가 있었다. 본 연구는 인공지능 검색 서비스를 적용에 따른 사용성 변화를 평가하고 분석한 것으로, 추후 인공지능을 활용한 서비스의 사용성 평가 연구에 유용한 자료가 될 것으로 기대한다.

Implementation of a Geo-Semantic App by Combining Mobile User Contexts with Geographic Ontologies

  • This paper describes a GIS framework for geo-semantic information retrieval in mobile computing environments. We built geographic ontologies of POI (point of interest) and weather information for use in the combination of semantic, spatial, and temporal functions in a fully integrated database. We also implemented a geo-semantic app for Android-based smartphones that can extract more appropriate POIs in terms of user contexts and geographic ontologies and can visualize the POIs using Google Maps API (application programming interface). The feasibility tests showed our geo-semantic app can provide pertinent POI information according to mobile user contexts such as location, time, schedule, and weather. We can discover a baking CVS (convenience store) in the test of bakery search and can find out a drive-in theater for a not rainy day, which are good examples of the geo-semantic query using semantic, spatial, and temporal functions. As future work, we should need ontology-based inference systems and the LOD (linked open data) of various ontologies for more advanced sharing of geographic knowledge.

스마트폰의 홈 화면구조에 따른 효율적 UI 방안 모색 (An Examination of an Efficient UI of Smartphone Home Screen Structure)

  • Objective: This study aims to draw an efficient UI design by comparing the usability of App drawer and single-layered home screens, which are smartphone home screens. Background: Because smartphone home screen is frequently used including the installation, deletion, and editing of APPs, it should be designed with easily controllable information structure. There is a need to seek a user-friendly UI by comparing the usability of App drawer and single-layered home screens, of which methods to search Apps are different. There is also a need to examine an efficient UI and the factors to improve from the user perspective. Method: This study targeted 30 Android OS and iOS users to evaluate the App drawer and single-layered home screens, of which UI structures are different. Each participant was instructed to carry out an App searching task and App deleting task, and the execution time and the number of errors were measured. After the tasks were completed, they evaluated satisfaction through a questionnaire survey. Results: In the App searching task with low task level, there was no difference in execution level between the App drawer and single-layered home screens. However, the single-layered home screen showed higher efficiency and accuracy in the App deleting task with high task level. As for the group difference according to use experience, there was no difference in satisfaction among Android OS users, but iOS user satisfaction with single-layered home screen with which they were familiar was higher. Conclusion: As for home screen usability, the single-layered home screen UI structure can be advantageous, as task level is higher. Repulsion was higher, when users, who had used easier UI, used complex UI in comparison with user satisfaction, when users familiar with complex UI used easier UI. A UI indicating the current status with clear label marking through a task flow chart-based analysis, and a UI in which a user can immediately recognize by exposing hidden functions to the first depth were revealed as things to improve. Application: The results of this study are expected to be used as reference data in designing smartphone home screens. Especially, when iOS users use Android OS, the results are presumed to contribute to the reduction of predicted barriers.

Development of Augmented Reality Walking Navigation App using Dijkstra Algorithm

  • There are a variety of apps that are finding their way. And in car navigation, we launched a product that reflects Augmented Reality technology this year. However, existing apps have problems. It is implemented in 2D or 3D, has a large error range because it has been modified in most vehicles, is not updated in real time, and car augmented reality navigation is a vehicle, and a separate device is required, etc. In this study, we implemented a smartphone app for walking directions using augmented reality, and made it possible to intuitively use a route service from a user 's location to a destination. The Dijkstra algorithm is applied to calculate the shortest path to solve the problem of finding the route with the least cost. By using this application, it is possible to use the route search service even in a data-free environment, to solve the inconvenience of the language barrier, and to update in real time, so that the latest information can be always maintained. In the future, we want to develop an app that can be commercialized by using a character in the path to promote it.

  • 본 논문에서는 아동의 스마트폰 보급률과 사용 시간이 증가함에 따라 교육용 애플리케이션 개발의 필요성을 인지하고, 아동에 최적화 되어 있으며 이미지 인식 기술을 접목해 아동이 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 고안된 애플리케이션 서비스의 개발에 대한 아이디어를 제안한다. 이미지 인식 기술을 활용해 아동이 쉽게 스마트폰의 카메라로 사물을 촬영하고 이에 대한 적절한 검색 결과를 손쉽게 파악할 수 있도록 도움을 주는 서비스이다. 이를 통해, 온라인 수업 등으로 인해 교사의 직접적인 지도를 받기 어려운 환경 속에서도 아동이 자기주도적으로 손쉽게 공부하거나 더 알아보고 싶은 대상을 찾아보고 학습하여 자기주도적 학습 능력을 함양하고 스마트폰의 올바른 사용 방법을 익히는 데에 공헌할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

스마트폰몰입이 모바일웹과 PC웹기반의 의류쇼핑몰에서의 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Involvement in Smartphones on Purchase Intention in Fashion Shopping Malls based on Mobile Web Apps and PC Web Apps)

  • This study considers the effect of smartphone involvement for purchase intentions in fashion shopping malls based on mobile web apps and on PC web apps; in addition, it investigates the correlation between purchase intention in fashion shopping malls (based on activated PC web apps) and those of fashion shopping malls (based on newly created mobile web apps). The results of this study are: First, the analysis of smartphones factors showed that smartphones consist of 6 kinds of dimensions of 'appearance involvement', 'time and information search involvement', 'application involvement', 'entertainment involvement', 'communication involvement', and 'transaction involvement'. Second, the higher the entertainment and transaction involvement among descriptive variables for smartphone involvement were due to the positive responses displayed towards fashion shopping mall purchases based on mobile web apps. Third, a higher application and entertainment involvement in the descriptive variables for smartphones resulted in a positive response displayed for purchases in fashion shopping malls based on PC web apps shown in a regression analysis that verified the smartphone and purchase intention relationship in fashion shopping malls based on PC web apps. Fourth, consumers with high purchase intention in the existing PC web app based fashion shopping malls were shown to have a high purchase intention in mobile web app based fashion shopping malls due to the results of a correlation analysis that analyzed the relationship between purchase intention in PC web app based fashion shopping malls and mobile web app based fashion shopping malls.

모바일 앱을 활용한 관광정보 제공 연구 (A Study on the Provision of Tourist Information Using a Mobile Application)

  • 본 연구는 모바일 앱을 활용한 관광정보 제공하는 APP을 개발하여 사용자가 여가시간에 관광지에 방문할 때 주변지역의 축제와 캠핑, 글램핑지역을 검색하도록 연구하였다. 또한, 자가 조리 레시피를 제공하여 현장에서 활용 편의성을 높였다. 추천지역에 대한 검색을 할때는 숙박시설을 조회하여 체크인과 체크아웃을 처리하도록 도움주었다. 본 연구에서 적용한 경기권지역외에 전국적인 정보제공으로 확대한다면 이용객들에게 보다 편리하게 사용될 것이며, 자역 쿠폰과 결합하여 서비스를 확장하면 양질의 서비스가 이루어질 것이다.
