  • Offshore observation of tsunami and storm surge before arriving to the coast is very important fur coastal disaster prevention. But up to ten years ago, coastal tide stations had been supposed to be the only means to observe tsunami and storm surge profile, fir difficulty of offshore observation (Goda.et.al., 2002). Recently seabed installed coastal wave gauges have been repeatedly reported to successfully observe various tsunami profiles by conducting continuous data acquisition (Goda.et.al., 2001 : Nagai, 2002a; Nagai.et.al, 1996, 2000, 2002b).   • Scientific study for Chong-Tong was carried out firstly by ICP and C /S analysis. Hyeon-Ja-Chong-Tong is made by Ryang-Ne-Ryo_Dong and identified the oldest Chong-Tong among them same items never since excavated from in Korea. It was found that Byol-Seung-Ja-Chong-Tong includes gunpowder and by $\gamma$-Radiography and casted at the 1592 just before Hideyoshi's invasion of Korea. these Chong-Tong is fired by the fuse is the muzzl-loading.

  • 방파제 설계시 고려되는 파랑하중에 대한 설계 방법으로 기존 설계는 정수압만을 고려한 정적해석을 실시하였으며 최근 설계에서는 정정해석과 동적해석을 동시에 실시하고 있다. 하지만 이때의 동적해석 방법은 파랑하중에 의한 파압을 구조물내의 임의의 지점에서만 산정하여 등가파압으로 적용하여 해석을 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 방파제의 경사면뿐만 아니라 해저지반에서의 파압을 추가적으로 고려함과 동시에 등 가파압이 아닌 모든 절점에서의 파압을 산정하여 파압을 적용하였다. 그 결과 현재의 설계법과 본연구의 설계법으로 구한 침하량의 값이 상당한 차이를 나타내고 있다.

  • The necessity of maritime sector for continuous management, accurate and update location information such as seabed shape and location, research on airborne LiDAR bathymetry surveying techniques are accelerating. Airborne LiDAR systems consist of a scanner and GPS/INS. The location accuracy of 3D point data obtained by a LiDAR system is determined by external orientation parameters. However, there are problems in the synchronization between sensors should be performed due to a variety of sensor combinations and arrangement. To solve this issue, system calibration should be conducted. Therefore, this study evaluates the system verification methods, processes, and operation techniques.

  • A small cyclopoid copepod M. subtilis (Giesbrecht, 1893 ["1892"]) belonging to the genus Monothula $B{\ddot{o}}ttger-Schnack$ and Huys, 2001 was collected by using $60{\mu}m$ mesh net and firstly recorded in the epipelagic layer of the equatorial Pacific Ocean. We redescribed its morphological characteristics for both female and male, comparing with those of previous studies. Specimens of M. subtilis from the equatorial Pacific Ocean differ from those previously reported by others in terms of the length of the seta G on antenna, being much shorter than setae E and F; in the distal spine on the swimming leg 4, being longer than the length of the third segment on P4. The outer spine of the P3 enp-3 in male is slightly over the tip of conical process. The spine lengths of the distal endopods of P2-P4 for both sexes showed variations among individuals, and the proportions of spine lengths in female are higher than those in male.

  • 파랑의 거동을 해석하기 위해 몇 십 년 동안 많은 연구들이 진행되었다. 그 중에서 해석적인 방법으로 축대칭 지형과 같은 간단한 지형을 지나는 파랑의 변형을 예측하는 것은 실험에 의한 방법에 비해 시간적, 비용적인 측면에서 유리하다. 또한 수치기법에 의한 오차를 발생하지 않기 때문에 보다 정확한 해를 구할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 그러나 단일주기, 단일방향에 대한 가정을 거치기 때문에 실제 해역에서의 복잡한 파랑 변형을 예측하는데 한계가 있다. 고유함수전개법을 축 대칭 지형에 적용시키는 연구는 Bender and Dean(2005)에 의해 제시되었으며, 본 연구에서는 이것을 발전시켜 다방향 불규칙파에 대한 파랑 변형을 모의하였다. 그리고 결과를 단일주기에 의한 규칙파와 비교하여 그 특성을 알아보았다.

Influential Parameters on Offshore Jacket Structure Launching (해양 자켓구조물 진수 영향인자에 대한 고찰)

  • The launching process is one of the most critical operations for large structure in offshore installation. Since as the size increases it limits the availability of offshore crane facilities, the large jacket structures are often installed by launching. As the structure approaches to tilt beam, it reaches critical load, and there are parameters to affect on launching procedure. The major influential parameters are trim, draft of barge, center of gravity, center of buoyancy and reserved buoyancy of jacket. As increasing of trim and draft, structural loads tend to decrease. The trim is found to be more contributing than draft on structural loads. Therefore the trim should be increased so as to decrease structural loads and to avoid stalling of structure and submergence of stern. During the launching process, the distance between jacket and seabed should be investigated which differs from the amount of reserved buoyancy and launching condition of barge. In this paper the effects of parameters on launching process are numerically investigated.

  • In this study, the authors present a coupled fluid-structures-seabed interaction analysis of a monopile type of wind turbine foundations in liquefiable soils. A two dimensional analysis is performed with a nonlinear stiffness degradation model incorporated in the finite difference program Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua (FLAC), which captured the fundamental mechanisms of the monopiles in saturated granular soil. The effects of inertia and the kinematic flow of soil are investigated separately, to highlight the importance of considering the combined effect of these phenomena on the seismic design of offshore monopiles. Different seismic loads, such as those experienced in the Kobe, Santa Cruz, Loma Prieta, Kocaeli, and Morgan Hill earthquakes, are analyzed. The pore water pressure development, relative displacements, soil skeleton deformation and monopile bending moment are obtained for different predominant frequencies and peak accelerations. The findings are verified with results in the liter.

  • 에너지자원(석유, 천연가스, 전기) 이송과 정보전달(해저광케이블)을 위한 다양한 형태의 해저 매설관이 해저면에 설치되어 운영이 되고 있다. 이들 매설관은 지진 또는 해저사면의 유실과 같은 자연재해로 인해 파괴되는 일들이 빈번하게 발생되고 있다. 그 외 태풍 등에 의해 발생되는 파랑하중에 의해서도 이들 매설관이 종종 파괴되는 일이 발생되기도 한다. 태풍 등에 의한 파랑하중은 해저지반에 과다한 과잉간극수압을 발생시켜 지반 액상화를 유발 세굴을 발생시키는데 이로 인해 매설관 하부에는 과도한 인장응력이 유발되어 매설관의 파괴 문제가 야기된다. 만약 석유수송 해저매설관이 파괴되면 경제적?산업적 측면에서 직접적인 피해 이외에도 해양환경에 미치는 영향은 매우 크다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 파랑하중에 의한 해저매설관 주변 지반의 거동 분석 및 안정성 평가에 관한 연구가 요구된다.

CONDUCTIVITIES OF SEA-BOTTOM SEDIMENTS

  • An in-situ four-electrode contact resistivity probe system was designed, and field-tested in submarine sediments. Seismic survey was also performed to support and compare the results of electric survey. The probe was designed to be driven to selected depths below the seafloor using a Vibracore system. The four insulated electrodes were, spaced equidistant across the wedge, were extended beyond the probe tip to minimize effects of sediment disturbance by the wedge insertion. In-situ measurements of resistivity were recorded on board by precision electronic equipment consisting of signal generators and processors, and by temperature- monitoring systems. Overall limits of uncertainty at respective depths below the seafloor are up to ±10% of the measured values. Best estimates of conductivity are considered to be ±3 percent of the reported values. Resistivity measurements were made at six sites in carbonate sediments to a maximum depth of penetration of about 5 m. Average values of conductivity range between 0.88 and 1.21 mho/m. The results show the seabed is composed of alternating layers of relatively high-conductivity material (0.8 to 1.4 mho/m) in thicknesses of more or less one meter and layers about 30 cm thick having relatively low conductivities (0.4 to 0.8 mho/m).
