  • There have been a lot of marine accident due to the increasing transportation by sea in accordance with economic growth. Accordingly, we are fully aware of the importance of the development of safety control system so that many prevent the sacrifice of life and disasters on the sea. The objective·e of this research in to investigate the more effective system by establishing the prevention of safety accident and marine information system as a national project.

  • Ships on the sea are exposed to the danger such as collision, stranding, sinking, capsizing and disaster and so on. So, we discuss the factors and the countermeasures for prevention a lot of marine casualty caused on the ship navigation. It is necessary to construct of cooperation system among all organizations relating to salvage on the sea. In order to prevent the marine casualty. it is important to reinforce the crew with safety education and to improve on navigation aids for ships in fairway.

  • We investigated the trouble and the influence by weather in the distribution facilities of the home and foreign and analyzed the damage of power system, in domestic and japan, which is related to the latest typhoon and damage from sea wind. The interruption of distribution system is occurred by abnormal weather is cause of the rainstorm, lightning within the country, a tree contact by strong wind in the US and an earthquake, typhoon, damage from sea wind in japan.

  • Offshore-aquaculture is a new idea, has emerged as an alternative method, which can minimize the damage to the natural disaster due to the environment pollution by the fish farming activities in the coast and overcome the problems of vicious cycle in fish farming management. On the other hand, as the current fish farming laws and institutions focus on the support for offshore-aquaculture, having the limit to revitalizing and supporting the fish farming business in the open sea, it is necessary to amend the laws and institutions related to fish farm. We should be establish in connection with offshore-aquaculture, after the study aims at examining the foreign laws and institutions in such countries as USA and Norway, establishing the methods for the future laws and institutions of open sea fish farm through the analysis of the issues and controversies in the process of enactment in Korea.

  • In recent years, human damage and loss of money due to various disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, forest fires, landslides, and wars are steadily occurring, and a lot of manpower and funds are required to prevent and recover them. In this paper, we designed and developed a disaster drone system based on artificial intelligence in order to monitor these various disaster situations in advance and to quickly recognize and respond to disaster occurrence. In this study, multiple disaster drones are used in areas where it is difficult for humans to monitor, and each drone performs an efficient search with an optimal path by applying a deep learning-based optimal path algorithm. In addition, in order to solve the problem of insufficient battery capacity, which is a fundamental problem of drones, the optimal route of each drone is determined using Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) technology. In order to implement the proposed system, it was applied to a forest fire situation among various disaster situations, and a forest fire map was created based on the transmitted data, and a forest fire map was visually shown to the fire fighters dispatched by a drone equipped with a beam projector. In the proposed system, multiple drones can detect a disaster situation in a short time by simultaneously performing optimal path search and object recognition. Based on this research, it can be used to build disaster drone infrastructure, search for victims (sea, mountain, jungle), self-extinguishing fire using drones, and security drones.

  • This study presents a numerical simulation of sea water-exchange as a preliminary accessing tool of water quality in the protected shore behind a overtopped breakwater. The overtopped breakwater is taken into account for a safe swimming and beach protection. The overtopping rate is calculated by empirical models and the consequent currents, known as wave-induced currents, are calculated under the conditions of H.W.O.S.T and L.W.O.S.T. The rate of sea water exchange is used to evaluate the characteristics of sea water exchange and calculated through the simulation processes such as advective discharging through the outlets and random-walking diffusion of particles released within a basin. The numerical results show that the overtopped waves sufficiently improve the water exchange without healthless stagnation of contaminated mass and the consequent currents are not too strong for swimming.
