벽체구성에 따른 목조벽체 내 수분변화에 대한 연구(II) - 외기에 노출된 목조벽체의 수분이동 - (Study on Moisture Variation in Light Frame Wall with Different Wall Assemblies (II) - Moister Transfer of Light Frame Wall in Field Test -)

  • 본 연구는 외기에 노출된 경골목조벽체의 수분축적을 감소시킬 수 있는 벽체 구성을 찾기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 다음 다섯 가지 형태의 벽체 구성을 대상으로 벽체 내 수분이동과 수분축적을 평가하였다; 일반적인 벽체구성(기본벽체 T), 실내 측 방습지 추가(P1), 실내 측과 단열재 구간의 방습지 추가(P2), 환기를 위한 사이딩 뒷면의 공기층 추가(P3), P3벽체에서 실외 측 방습지의 실내 측으로 이동(P4). 옥외 실험가옥에 기본벽체와 제안벽체를 설치하여 외기에 노출된 벽체의 수분이동과 수분축적을 평가하였다. 실험결과 계절에 따라 추가 방습지와 공기층의 개선 정도가 다르게 나타났으나 연간 벽체 내 수분축적 감소에 유리한 벽체 구성은 1) 공기층 추가 및 실내 측으로 방습지 이동(P4), 2) 실내 측 방습지 추가(P1), 3) 기본벽체(T), 4) 공기층 추가(P3), 5) 실내 측 및 단열재 구간 방습지 추가(P2) 순으로 나타났다.

의성 광화대 동-연-아연-은 광상의 지화학적 연구 (Geochemistry of Cu-Pb-Zn-Ag Deposits from the Euiseong Mineralized Area)

  • 경북 의성 퇴적분지내에는 수개조의 함 Cu-Pb-Zn-Ag 열수석영맥이 주향 N $20^{\circ}-40^{\circ}W$, 경사 $70^{\circ}-80^{\circ}NE$의 단층면을 따라 충진되어 있으며, 맥폭은 1.0m 이하이고, 약 200m 이상 연장되어 있다. 광화작용은 구조운동에 수반되어 3회 (I, II, III기)에 걸쳐 진행되었다. 주 광화시기인 제 I 광화시기에는 주로 황동석, 유비철석, 황철석, 방연석, 섬아연석과 미량의 사면동석 및 함Pb, Ag, Sb, Bi 유염 광물 등이 산출된다. 유체 포유물 연구에 의하면, 제I광화작용시 동(銅)을 위시한 광석 광물은 7.5-4.5wt.% 염상당농도를 갖는 광화유체로부터 초기 $400^{\circ}C$에서 후기 $200^{\circ}C$에 걸쳐 침전되었고, $350^{\circ}C$ 부근에서 광화유체의 비등 현상이 있었음을 확인하였다. $H_2O-NaCl$ 임계곡선에 의해 구한 광화유체의 최대 압력은 150bar이고, 이는 1.7km의 심도에 해당된다. Cu의 침전은 전 유황종(種)의 농도가 $10^{-0.5}-10^{-1.8}M$인 광화유체가 약 $350^{\circ}C$에서 $250^{\circ}C$로 감소되면서 비등작용과 함께 천수유입에 의한 냉각 작용에 의하여, 광화유체 내의 유황, 산소의 분압이 각각 $10^{-8}$, $10^{-30}atm$.에서 $10^{-12}$, $10^{-36}atm$.으로 감소되고, 한편 pH가 증가되어, Cu complex 이온의 농도가 $10^3$에서 10ppm으로 감소되면서 주로 황동석으로 침전되었다. 함 Pb, Ag, Sb, Bi 유염광물은 $250^{\circ}C$ 이하에서 유황과 산소분압이 각각 $10^{-12}$, $10^{-36}atm$. 이하인 광화유체에서 계속되는 천수유입으로 인한 냉각작용과 희석작용에 의해 침전되었다.

북부 소백산 육괴 지역에 부존하는 옥남 광산의 열수 금-은 광화작용 (Hydrothermal Au-Ag Mineralization of the Oknam Mine in the Northern Sobaegsan Massif)

  • 옥남 금-은 광상은 소백산육괴 선캠브리아기 율리층의 흑운모편암 및 천매암 내에 발달하는 함금-은 능망간석맥으로 산출된다. 광맥의 상호 구조에 근거하여 5회의 광물 침전기 (stage)가 인지되며, 각 시기는 특징적인 광물 조합을 나타낸다. 함금-은 맥(광화 3기)에서의 정출 광물은 맥의 연변부로부터 내측으로 가면서 다음과 같이 변화한다: 유비철석+황철석 (암색 능망간석 밴드 내)$\Rightarrow$섬아연석+황동석+방연석+에렉트럼 (담색 능망간석 밴드 내)$\Rightarrow$ 방연석+함은 광물 (정동 부위). 유체포유물 자료에 의하면, 광화유체의 온도 및 염농도는 시간에 따라 전반적으로 다음과 같이 감소했음을 지시한다: 광화 I기 (석영맥 광화작용), $345^{\circ}{\sim}240^{\circ}C$, 3.4~7.8 wt.% NaCl 상당농도; 함망간 탄산염기 (II 및 III), 3130-2070C, 2.3-8.7 wt.% NaCl; 광화 4기 (석영맥 광화작용), $328^{\circ}{\sim}213^{\circ}C$, 3.6~5.4 wt.% NaCl. 광화유체는 냉각 희석 상태의 순환강우의 혼입과 주기적으로 반복된 버등을 통하여 진화한 것으로 사료되며, 유체포유물 자료와 지질 증거에 의하면 광화작용 중 양력은 90~340 bar이었다. 금은 함은량이 높은 에렉트럼 (21~29 atom.% Au)으로 산출되며 주로 $300^{\circ}{\sim}240^{\circ}C$ 사이의 온도에서 침전되었다. 열역학적 검토에 의하면, 금은 pH의 증가와 더불어 온도, 유황분압 및 산소분압의 감소에 의해 침전하였으리라 사료된다.

IVF-ET Program에서 Blastocyst 배아의 발생에 관한 연구 - II. 난구세포 공동배양에 의한 Blastocyst 배아의 발생 (The Studies on the Development of Human Blastocyst Embryos in IVF -ET Program - II. The Development of Human Blastocyst Embryos by co-culture with Cumulus Cells)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the development rates of human embryos co-cultured with cumulus cells to each blastocyst stage. Human zygotes were co-cultured on cumulus cell monolayer in YS medium supplemented with 20% hFF. On day 2, if patient had four or more "good" embryos (regular blastomeres without fragmentation), embryos were further cultured for 72hrs. Blastocysts on day 5 were classified into early blastocyst (ErB), early expanding blastocyst (EEB), middle expanding Blastocyst (MEB), and expanded blastocyst (EdB) on the basis of their morphological aspects of trophectoderm cells and blastocoele. Subsequently, maximum 3 of best blastocysts were transferred in 486 cycles. The results in this study were as follows: Patients who had four or more "good" embryos on day 2 were 498 persons, but patients whose embryos could not be transferred due to failure in development to the blastocyst stage on day 5 were 12 persons (2.4%). The development rate of embryos to the blastocyst stage was 58.2% (2,885/4,957) on day 5, and the rates that developed to the ErB, EEB, MEB, and EdB stage were 15.0% (743/4,957), 14.9% (739/4,957), 14.4% (714/ 4,957), and 13.9% (689/4,957), respectively. Total 1366 blastocysts were transferred in 486 cycles (mean number=2.81). The implantation rate and the ongoing implantation rate obtained by observing the number of G-sac and FHB were 29.9% (409/1,366) and 22.5% (308/1,366), respectively. The clinical pregnancy rate was 51.2% (249/486), and the ongoing pregnancy rate' was 39.1% (190/486). Among women showing ongoing pregnancy, women with singleton were 50% (95/190), women with twin were 37.9% (72/190), and women with triplet were 12.1% (23/190). Although triplet pregnancy rate in this study was high such as 12.1%, because many blastocysts with high viability were produced in our co-culture system using cumulus cells on day 5, we really believe that a multiple pregnancy except twin should not occur by selecting good embryos for maximum two blastocyst transfer. These results demonstrate that autologous cumulus cells may be used for the production of blastocysts with high developmental competence, and the use of autologous cumulus cells to be collected easily, and to be treated conveniently at OPU must be an effective means for obtaining high implantation and pregnancy rate.

국소 허혈성 뇌손상 흰쥐 모델에서 환경강화 조건 하 수정된 건측억제유도 운동치료가 앞다리 운동기능 증진에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Improved Forelimb Sensorimotor Function on the Modified CIMT Applied Under the influence of Environmental Enrichment in a Focal Ischemic Brain Injury Rat Model)

  • Environmental Enrichment (EE) alone is not capable of enhancing the fine digit and the forelimb functions. Therefore, we applied modified constraint-induced movement therapy (mCIMT) under the influence of EE to assess its effect on promoting improved forelimb sensorimotor functions. Focal ischemic brain injury was produced in Sprague-Dawley rats (60 rats, $250{\pm}50$ g) through middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO). Before MCAO induction, all rats were trained in modified limb placing tests and reaching tasks for 1 week. Then they were randomly divided into three groups: Group I: application of standard environment (SE) after MCAO induction (n=20), Group II: application of EE after MCAO induction (n=20), Group III: MCAO+EE, mCIMT and task-oriented training that was initiated at 10th day after MCAO induction (n=20). We also applied mCIMT (between 9 AM and 5 PM/daily) which included restraining the forelimb ipsilateral to the lesion using the 'Jones & Schallert' method. We assessed the change of modified limb placing, single pellet reaching test and the immunoreactivity of BDNF by immunohistochemistry (pre, 1st, 5th, 10th and 20th day). Group I showed no improved outcome, whereas group II and III significantly improved on the use of the forelimb and the immunoreactivity. The qualitative analysis of the skilled reaching test, of group III showed the greatest improvement in the fine digit and the forelimb function. These results suggest that EE combined with mCIMT is more functional in promoting enhanced fine digit and forelimb functional movements.

아마릴 정(글리메피리드 2mg)에 대한 글리메드 정의 생물학적 동등성 (Bioequivalence of Glimed Tablet to Amaryl Tablet (Glimepiride 2 mg))

  • The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the bioequivalence of two glimepiride tablets, $Amaryl^{\circledR}$ (Handok/Aventis Pharm. Co., Ltd.) and Glimed (Kuhn II Pharm. Co., Ltd.), according to the guidelines of Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA). The glimepiride release from the two glimepiride formulations in vitro was tested using KP VIII Apparatus II method with a variety of dissolution media (pH 1.2, 4.0, 6.8 buffer solution, water and blend of PSB 80 into each dissolution medium). Twenty six healthy male subjects, $22.65{\pm}2.19$ years in age and $66.55{\pm}8.85$ kg in body weight, were divided into two groups and a randomized $2\;{\times}\;2$ cross-over study was employed. After one tablet containing 2 mg as glimepiride was orally administered, blood was taken at predetermined time intervals and the concentrations of glimepiride in serum were determined using HPLC method with UV detector. The dissolution profiles of two formulations were similar at all dissolution media. Besides, the pharmacokinetic parameters such as $AUC_t$, $C_{max}$ and $T_{max}$ were calculated and ANOVA test was utilized for the statistical analysis of the parameters using logarithmically transformed $AUC_t$, $C_{max}$ and untransformed $T_{max}$. The results showed that the differences between two formulations based on the Amaryl were -3.70, -8.28 and 0.61% for $AUC_t$, $C_{max}$ and $T_{max}$, respectively. There were no sequence effects between two formulations in these parameters. The 90% confidence intervals using logarithmically transformed data were within the acceptance range of log(0.8) to log(1.25) (e.g., $log(0.84){\sim}log(1.04)$ for $log(0.82){\sim}log(1.03)$ for $AUC_t$ and $C_{max}$, respectively). Thus, the criteria of the KFDA guideline for the bioequivalence were satisfied, indicating Glimed tablet and Amaryl tablet were bioequivalent.

1996년 12월 13일 영월지진의 피해 및 진도 분석 (Analysis on the Damage and Intensity of the 13 December 1996 Yeongweol Earthquake)

  • 1996년 12월 13일 영월 북동부($37^{\circ}{\;}15.75'{\;}N,{\;}128^{\circ}{\;}42.13'{\;}E$)에서 발생한 지진(M=4.5, 기상청 발표)은 천발지진(진원깊이 약 8.8km)으로서 감진구역이 남한 전역에 이르렀다. 본 지진은 1978년 이후 휴식기에 들어간 남한 내륙지방에서 처음 발생한 중규모 지진으로서 전진활동 없이 여진(M=2.5 이상)은 본진 후 1개월동안 13회 발생하였다. 약 400 지점의 감진 정도를 파악하여 등진도도를 작성한 결과 남한 내륙 지방에서는 MM 진도 III-VI, 제주도 II, 울릉도 I을 나타내었다. 최대 진도 VII인 지역은 영월군 중동면, 신동읍, 정선군 남면의 일부 지역으로서 등진도선은 NE-SE 방향으로 신장되어 나타난다. 진도 VII인 지역에서는 강한 지진동과 함께 건물 실내외부 벽의 균열발생, 지붕의 기와나 스레트의 낙하 및 이동, 실내외 벽 타일의 떨어짐, 선바위 물체의 떨어짐, 도로의 낙석, 하천 자갈층의 무너짐 등이 발생하였다. 또한, 영월지진에 의한 감진구역 면적은 한반도에서 발생한 유사한 규모의 지진에 비하여 비교적 크게 나타났다.

표백제의 치경부 누출을 방지하기 위한 근관 내 이장재의 효과 (THE EFFECT OF INTRACANAL BASE TO PROTECT THE CERVICAL LEAKAGE OF BLEACHING AGENTS)

  • Intracoronal bleaching is currently disregarded by many clinicians because of the potential consequence of cervical resorption. To prevent this complication it is recommended that intra coronal barrier materials be placed over the root canal obturation and sodium perborate be used with water rather than with hydrogen peroxide. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the amount of the hydrogen peroxide penetration according to the difference in intracanal base materials and sodium perborate preparation. Fifty extracted intact premolars were instrumented, and filled with gutta-percha. And then the outer surface of the teeth was sealed with wax exposing the CEJ. The prepared teeth were placed in plastic tubes containing 1.5ml distilled water with their entire root submerged into the solution, The teeth were divided into the following five groups. In the first two groups gutta-percha was removed without placement of barrier, and then water or superoxole(30% $H_2O_2$) with sodium perborate were used respectively for bleaching. In the other three groups, after removal of gutta-percha, an intracanal isolating barrier(ZPC, IRM, Fuji II LC) was placed and then bleached with sodium perborate and superoxole. The bleaching procedure was performed 4 times with 1 week interval. The results were as follows : 1. All the groups showed a tendency of increasing penetration amount with increasing treatment times(P<0.05). 2. After the 1st and 2nd treatments, there was no significant difference in microleakage among the groups. 3. After the 3rd bleaching with superoxole and sodium perborate, there was no significant difference in microleakage between gutta-percha alone group and gutta-percha with ZPC, Fuji II LC barrier group. But significant difference was found between IRM barrier group and other groups(P<0.01). 4. After the 4th bleaching with superoxole and sodium perborate, there was no significant difference between gutta-percha alone group and gutta-percha with barrier groups. 5. After the 4th treatment, the group bleached with sodium perborate and water without barrier showed lower hydrogen peroxide penetration than that of other groups(P<0.01).

Prospective phase II trial of regional hyperthermia and whole liver irradiation for numerous chemorefractory liver metastases from colorectal cancer

  • Purpose: A prospective phase II trial was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness and toxicity of regional hyperthermia and whole liver irradiation (WLI) for numerous chemorefractory liver metastases from colorectal cancer. Materials and Methods: Enrolled patients had numerous chemorefractory hepatic metastases from colorectal cancer. Five sessions of hyperthermia and seven fractions of 3-gray WLI were planned. Health-related quality of life (HRQoL) was determined using the Korean version of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer quality of life questionnaire C-30 and the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Hepatobiliary version 4.0. Objective and pain response was evaluated. Results: A total of 12 patients consented to the study and the 10 who received WLI and hyperthermia were analyzed. WLI was completed as planned in nine patients and hyperthermia in eight. Pain response was partial in four patients and stable in four. Partial objective response was achieved in three patients (30.0%) and stable disease was seen in four patients at the 1-month follow-up. One patient died 1 month after treatment because of respiratory failure related to pleural metastasis progression. Other grade III or higher toxicities were detected in three patients; however, all severe toxicities were related to disease progression rather than treatment. No significant difference in HRQoL was noted at the time of assessment for patients who were available for questionnaires. Conclusion: Combined WLI and hyperthermia were well tolerated without severe treatment-related toxicity with a promising response from numerous chemorefractory hepatic metastases from colorectal cancer.

중성자에 조사된 Mn-Mo-Ni 저합금강의 열처리 회복거동 (Thermal Recovery Behaviors of Neutron Irradiated Mn-Mo-Ni Low Alloy Steel)

  • 중성자에 조사 $(fluence: 2.3\times10^{19}ncm^{-2}, 553 K, E\geq1.0 MeV)$된 Mn-Mo-Ni 저 합금강 모재의 열처리 회복 거동을 조사하기 위하여 등시소둔과 등온소둔을 수행하여 회복 활성화에너지, 회복 반응차수 그리고 회복 반응률상수를 결정하였다. 열처리 후 회복은 비커스 미세 고온경도기로 측정하였고 실험결과를 이용, 열처리 회복단계, 회복결함들의 거동 및 회복 kinetics을 분석하였다. 실험결과 2단계의 회복구간(stage I : 703-753K, stage II : 813K-873K)이 나타났으며 각 단계의 회복활성화 에너지는 2.50 eV(1단계) 및 2.93 eV(2단계)이었다. 조사재와 비조사재의 등시소둔 곡선의 비교를 통하여 813K에서 RAH(radiation anneal hardening) 피크를 확인할 수 있었다. 743K 및 833K에서 수행한 등온소둔 결과, 회복의 60%가 모두 120분 이내에 일어나는 것으로 관찰되었다. 회복 반응차수는 두 회복구간에서 모두 2로 나타났으며 회복 반응율상수는 $3.4\times10^{-4}min^{-1}$(1단계)과 $7.1\times10^{-4}min^{-1}$(2단계) 이었다. 이상의 결과와 기 발표된 자료들을 함께 분석한 결과, 본 재료의 회복은 오랜 중성자조사로 형성된 점결함 집합체들이 열처리에 의한 분해와 Fe 기지에 격자간 원자로 존재하던 self-interstitial들과 vacancy들의 재결합에 의해 일어나는 것으로 해석된다.
