수조에서 여러 가지 색광에 대한 멸치의 반응 연구 (The study on the Anchovy's (Engraulis japonica) reaction to several light colors in a tank)

  • This study was conducted to develop energy-efficient LED lamps with an excellent fishing performance for an anchovy scoop net by comparing the functions of 6 different lamps- incandescent, blue LED, green LED, white LED, yellow LED and red LED lamp. We used incandescent and red LED lamps only for the initial test and then excluded because those showed the lowest herding capacity. According to the result, yellow LED showed lower herding capacity in comparison with the blue, green and white one. Although the herding performance of the blue, green and white LED was similar in almost tests, herding speed to the each light was different. The anchovies were gathered into the blue LED as the speed of 39.88cm/s that was the fastest. Green LED was the second as the speed of 33.28cm/s. White LED was the slowest as the speed of 26.73cm/s. We will have field tests because we found the result that yellow LED's herding performance was better than green LED's for 5 seconds comparing after starting in some tests.

소형 선박 제어 헤드 조립체의 국산화를 위한 설계/해석, 제작에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design/Simulation and Manufacturing for Localization of Parts in Scoop Control Assembly of Small Military Boat)

  • The control head components used in small military vessels are designed to be domestically produced, prototypes, structural analysis, and casting methods are designed and cast. The control head assembly consists of a lever, an aluminum outside cover, Middle, front gear cover, back gear cover, and a zinc worm gear. In order to reverse the design of each component, 3D scanning device was used, 3D modeling was performed by CATIA, and prototype productions were carried out by 3D printer. In order to reduce the cost of components, gating system is used by gravity casting method. The SRG ratio of 1:0.9:0.6 was set by applying non-pressurized gating system to aluminum parts, 1:2.2:2.0 and pressurized gating system to zinc parts, and the shapes of sprue, runner and gate were designed. The results of porosity were also confirmed by casting analysis in order to determine whether the appropriate gating system can be designed. The results showed that all parts started solidification after filling completely. ANSYS was used for structural analysis, and the results confirmed that all five components had a safety factor of 15 more. All castings are free of defects in appearance, and CT results show only very small porosity. ZnDC1 zinc alloy worm gear has a tensile strength of 285 MPa and an elongation of 8%. The tensile strength of the four components of A356 aluminum alloy is about 137-162 MPa and the elongation is 4.8-6.5%.

  • The RTD Bypass Loops at Kori Unit 3&4 will be removed and a new system will be designed and will be installed to replace it. The replacement system provides equal or better performance and eliminates some Persistent problems. The Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) bypass line is eliminated to reduce the radiation exposure to operators and workers. After the elimination, the resistance temperature detectors are installed in scoop of the reactor coolant piping to detect a representative temperature. This study includes safety evaluation, RTD response time Analysis, Uncertainty Analysis, LOCA evaluation and Structural Analysis.

독도연안에서 채집된 한국미기록 어종 다섯줄얼게비늘 (국명신칭, 동갈돔과) Apogon cookii에 대하여 (First Record of the Cook's cardinalfish, Apogon cookii (Apogonidae, Perciformes) from Korea)

  • 1997년 10월 경상북도 울릉군 독도연안에서 한국미기록 어종인 동갈돔과 (Apogonidae)의 Apogon cookii 2개체를 채집하였다. 이 종은 줄동갈돔 (A. endekataenia)과 유사하나 체측의 암갈색 세로띠의 수가 5개이며 꼬리지느러미 기부에 눈의 동공크기의 둥근 흑색반점이 있는 점으로 구별된다. 이 종의 신한국명은 "다섯줄얼게비늘"이라 명명하였다.

  • A reciprocating engine installed on a normal category airplane shall be effectively cooled by air flown through the engine compartment. A airplane powerplant designer has to design cooling air inlets, baffles, seals, and outlets to maintain cylinder head temperatures and oil temperature under the limits, and show compliance with appropriate airworthiness standard. In this study, cooling designs of the installed engine and compliance requirements applicable to the cooling designs were reviewed, and engine cooling flight test results were evaluated for design changes. Engine cooling certification test will be conducted in a next step.

Body Plethysmograph를 이용한 Airway Resistance Curve의 임상적 의의 (Clinical Significance of Airway Resistance Curve by the Body Plethysmograph)

  • 연구배경: 기도저항은 body plethysmograph를 이용하여 flow/alveolar pressure의 관계를 측정함으로써 얻어질 수 있는데, 기도저항이 정상인 경우 oscillooscope 상에서 얻어지는 resistance curve가 거의 linear 하나 증가된 경우에는 그 모양이 기울어지거나 loop을 형성하는 경우가 많아 이러한 curve를 분석하여 환자의 임상평가에 도움이 되는 결과를 얻고자 하였다. 방법: 기도저항이 증가되어 있는 환자를 대상으로 body plethysmograph에서 quiet breathing시에 얻어진 resistance curve의 형태를 분석하여 폐기능을 비교하였다. 결과: 1) Resistance curve는 type 1: linear, type 2: ovoid, type 3: sigmoid, type 4: scoop, type 5: paisley의 5가지 형태로 구분할 수 있었으며, 1예를 제외한 type 3과 type 4 및 5는 loop을 형성하였다. 2) Curve의 형태가 특정 질환에 특징적이지는 않았으나 급성질환은 주로 type 1, 및 2, 만성기류폐쇄는 주로 type 3, 4 및 5에 속하였으며, 기관지 천식이나 오래된 폐결핵은 그 정도에 따라 type 1 에서 5까지의 형태를 모두 보였다. 3) Type 1에서 type 5로 갈 수록, loop을 형성 할 수록 기도폐쇄가 심하고 기도저항이 증가되며 잔기량이 커지는 경향을 보였다. 결론: 기도저항을 측정할 경우 기도저항의 측정치 뿐 아니라 resistance curve를 분석하여 기도폐쇄와 air trapping의 정도를 판단하는데 도움을 얻을수 있으며, resistance curve의 모양이 특정 질환에 특징적이지는 않았지만 호기시 loop이 형성되는 경우 심한 기도폐쇄를 시사하였다.

멸치초망어업용 집어등 광력의 수중 투과특성 (Transmittance Characteristics of Fishing Lamp in the Anchovy Scoop Fishery)

  • 멸치초망어업에서는 반사갓에 AC 100V, 1kW 백열등 1개를 끼워서 집어등으로 사용하고 있다. 집어등은 저층에 있는 어군을 표층까지 부상시키고, 또한 표층에 유집된 어군을 자루그물로 유도하는 역할을 수행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 멸치군을 유효하게 집어, 유도할 수 있는 집어 등을 구명하기 위한 기초연구로서 현재 초망어업에서 사용되고 있는 반사갓의 방사효율과 1kW 백열등의 파장별 방사특성을 계측하였으며, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 반사갓은 백열등의 방사효율을 1.8배 정도 증가시켰으며, 전구를 중심으로 원형에 가깝게 빛을 수중으로 방사시켰고, 이는 수중광도계로 측정한 방사조도와도 잘 일치하였다. 2. 공기중에서 백열등의 방사조도는 994nm의 파장에서 최대치를 보인 반면 심도 0.5m, 1.0m 층에서 최대치를 보인 반면 심도 0.5m, 1.0m층에서는 모두 690nm의 파장에서 최대치를 보였다. 3. 집어등의 연직 하방에 있어서 심도(x)과 수중조도(y)와의 관계식은 다음과 같다. y=146.03e 상(-0.37x) 4. 1kW 백열등의 빛은 정횡방향보다 연직방향쪽으로 많이 투과되었으며, 집어등 직하에서의 빛은 심도 20m이심에는 도달하지 않는다고 추정된다.

백열등의 광력에 따른 수중 투과특성 (Transmittance Characteristics by candlepower of Incandescent Lamp)

  • 초망어업에 있어서 멸치군을 집어하기 위한 집어등의 광량을 구명하기 위한 기초연구로서 1 ㎾ 와 2 ㎾ 백열등의 방사조도 특성을 계측하였으며, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 백열등의 수중방사조도는 파장 690 nm에서 최대치를 보였고, 2가지 백열등의 수중 방사조도 L(W/$\textrm{cm}^2$/nm)와 섬도 Z(m)와의 관계식은, 1 ㎾ : L = 3851.9 $e^{-1.4587Z}$ $R^2$=0.9952 2 ㎾ : L= 8211.9 $e^{-1.2852Z}$ $R^2$=0.9977이었다. 2. 2 ㎾ 백열등의 수중 방사조도는 섬도 4m 층보다 얕은 수층에서는 1 ㎾ 백열등보다 3~4배 높게 나타났지만 심도 6m보다 깊은 수층부터는 동일한 밝기를 나타내었다. 3. 1 ㎾ 백열등의 빛은 정횡방향보다 연직방향쪽으로 많이 투과되었으며, 집어등의 연직방향에 있어서 심도 20m층의 수중방사조도는 0.1 l$\chi$이었다.

Novel Discovery of Two Heterotrichid Ciliates, Climacostomum virens and Fabrea salina (Ciliophora: Heterotrichea: Heterotrichida) in Korea

  • Two heterotrichid ciliates, Climacostomum virens (Ehrenberg, 1838) Stein, 1859 from brackish water and freshwater, and Fabrea salina Henneguy, 1890 from a solar saltern, were collected in Korea. They are novelly investigated in Korea by means of live observation, protargol staining and nuclear small subunit (SSU) rRNA gene sequencing. Climacostomum virens is characterized by pouch-like body shape, body length of $200-370{\mu}m$ in vivo, conspicuous cytopharyngeal tube, macronuclei ribbon-like shape, and one to four in number, with or without symbiont algae in cytoplasm, 34-66 somatic kineties, 67-113 adoral zone of membranelles, 8-42 peristomial kineties, 24-37 apical membranelles. SSU rDNA sequence size is 1,591 bp and GC contents 48.52%. Fabrea salina is also characterized by scoop-like body shape with proboscis, body length of $190-240{\mu}m$ in vivo, one to two rod-shaped macronuclei, oval micronuclei, grayish green cortical granules, 104-186 somatic kineties, 4-8 preoral kineties, 7-19 peristomial kineties and fragmented paroral membrane. SSU rDNA sequence size is 1,598 bp and GC contents 47.50%.

일부 베이커리업체의 조리용기.기구 및 작업환경에 대한 미생물적 위해분석 (Evaluation of Microbiological Hazards of Baking Utensils and Environment of Bakeries)

  • This study was performed to describe the overall sanitation of baking utensils and equipments, employees, and environment in 9 bakeries. Microbiological tests on employees, utensils and equipments, were done according to standard procedure and included total plate count, coliforms, fungi and Staphylococcus aureus.. Microbiological testing is a value in determining hazards for developing a HACCP plan but were not detected throat and employee's hands before use. Staphylococcus aureus was detected nasal cavity and employees's hands after use. Employee's apron after use was detected fungi and coliform and was risk factor of cross-contamination to bread or cookies et al. Generally hygienic conditions of pan, kitchen board, knife, brush, and wooden scoop were worse than those of other baking utensils such as tray, bread tweezers, dusting brush and dish cloth. And refrigerator, freezer and fermentation chamber were detected fungi and coliforms. Total plate count of heating table, working table, distribution table, washbowl and refrigerator was increased in 2nd period. Temperature of refrigerator was 10.43$^{\circ}C$ and strict temperature control of refrigerations needs. Therefore, baking utensils and equipments were reguraly need to sterilize and clean. Additionary, it need to practice the effective sanitation education and training program for the bakery managers and employees.
