The purpose of this paper was to design evaluation process on technological information analysis done by re-tired scientists and engineers. Existing studies on evaluation system and methodology were analyzed and their implications are as follows. To provide useful feedback to the retired scientists, indicators of evaluation should be simplified and method of evaluation confined to the quantitative one. And the results of evaluation need to be utilized in direction to encourage the old scientists and engineers.

A perfect evaluation for scientists and engineers is impossible unless the R&D process is fully explored. But the study in this area is being intencified, and consequently progress is being made. In this paper an evaluation method for scientists and engineers in project-oriented R&D organizations is developed. That is, a method that the evaluation for the job performance directly influences personnel management such as promotion, and the evaluation for their potential, characteristics influences indirectly. Further systematization of evaluation process, which is no less importatant than evaluation itself, is attempted.

As the 21century enters information era, female scientists and engineers are expected to play important roles more than ever. In Korea, female s roles in such areas have been traditionally limited. In order to find the effective ways of boosting those roles in a social network, we employ an SEM (Structural Equation Model) where the relationship between various factors and the satisfaction level of women scientists and engineers is examined. We expect that the results obtained from this analysis can contribute to improving the environment of women scientists and engineers in each field.
