The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of osteology practice at human anatomy course for students at the freshman stage in college of health science without medical school. Both self report questionnaires and evaluation paper were analyzed depending on the course of higher education and gender. As a result of analysis, most students thought that osteology practice was interesting and it helped to understand of anatomy lecture. But students from liberal arts had poor understanding of bone's direction compared with students from natural sciences. And most students wanted to do cadaver dissectionafter osteology practice. In conclusion, osteology practice was recommended to student's expectation as well as education of gross anatomy in department of biomedical laboratory science, collage of health science without medical school. This study suggested that practice of gross anatomy should run parallel with lecture.

Three research questions are formulated: 1) Is there any relationship between the development of teachers' pedagogical content knowledge and the science teaching efficacy beliefs? 2) How does the development of teachers' pedagogical content knowledge affect the science teaching practice? 3) How do the science teaching efficacy beliefs affect the science teaching practice? 120 subjects were chosen in 53 public elementary schools. Quantitative and qualitative data were collected and analyzed to triangulate the results. Results indicate that the development of teachers' pedagogical content knowledge and science teaching efficacy beliefs are more developed in accordance with teachers' teaching career and academic career are increased. There are significant relationships between teachers' science pedagogical content knowledge and science teaching efficacy beliefs. The more the teachers' pedagogical content knowledge, the more confident in science teaching practice. The more the science teaching efficacy beliefs, the more confident in science teaching practice. Also these teachers tried to present teaching objectives and learning problems in the beginning stages of science lessons, and they tried to review each learning stage.
Purpose : This study is performed to investigate the status and recognition of the education for physical therapy clinical practice. Method : This study used a descriptively designed survey in which 328 clinical instructor, 55 professors and 404 college trainee students in Korea are participated. The research instruments developed by Kim(2004) and Park(1997) are used. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS/PC+12.0. Results : 1. Trainees are in favor of practicing in the university hospital, but more needed to practice in various clinical institutions. 2. Clinical practice period is 400-600 hours. The time of clinical practice has been shifted to the summer vacation, so it is needed to be scattered along semester evenly. 3. The categories of diseases should be determined, by which trainees to experience the assessment and treatment through clinical practice. 4. For the case of accident during clinical practicing, an insurance contract is required for trainees. 5. Through school and clinical institutions, the common and standardized clinical practice manuals or instructions are needed. Conclusion : Clinical institutions and college for student training to improve efficiency are forced to study systematically.

The Mental practice effects was evaluated by Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA), Action Research Arm Test(ARA), Stroke Rehabilitation Assessment of Movement(STREAM). The data were analyzed using paired t-test. The result of this study are as follows: FMA score were significant difference test-retest(p<.05), ARA score were statistically significant improvement between test-retest(p<.05), On the STREAM, the patients had the score improved on 4 of the 10 items of the upper-extremity Scale. The result suggest that mental practice is a potentially useful method of practicing motor skills. Mental practice may be a cost-effective, non-invasive tool with wuhich patients with stroke can receive additional practice of functional skills, and realize greater outcome, than if therapy alone were used.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify the practitioner and organizational characteristics that either detracted from or encouraged the use of evidence-based practice (EBP) by physical therapists. Design: A cross-sectional survey study Methods: Participants were 260 physical therapists currently practicing in South Korea. They completed a questionnaire designed to determine attitudes, beliefs, interest, self-efficacy and barriers to EBP, as well as demographic information about themselves and their practice settings. Logistic regression was used to examine relationships between socio-demographic and work environment characteristics and each practitioner factor. Results: Respondents agreed that the use of evidence in practice was necessary. Although 80% of them agreed that research findings are useful, 71% felt that a divide exists between research and practice. In terms of confidence in their skills, the ability to interpret results of statistical procedures ranked lowest. Despite internet access at work for 63% of respondents, only 14% were given protected work time to search and appraise the literature. Only 2% of respondents stated that their organization had a written requirement to use current evidence in their practice. The primary barrier to implementing EBP was a reported lack of time. Conclusions: In conclusion, most physical therapists stated they had a positive attitude toward EBP and were interested in learning or improving the skills necessary for implementation. Most recognized a need to increase the use of evidence in their daily practice, but a lack of ability to understand the results of research represents a significant barrier to implementing EBP.
