  • Well organized and easy usable Grid management system is very important for executing various Grid applications and managing Grid computing environment. Moreover, information system which can support Grid management system by providing various Grid environment related information is also one of the most interesting issue in the Grid middleware system area. Effective cooperation between Grid management system and information system can make a novel Grid middleware system. Especially, service oriented architecture based Grid management system is flexible and extensible for providing various type of Grid services. Also, information system based on data mining process which comprises various different kinds of domains such as users, resources and applications can make Grid management system more precise and efficient. In this paper, we propose semantic Grid middleware system which is a combination of Grid management system and semantic information system.

  • A 'Resource recycling society' is the common goal to reduce environmental impact from human activities and to conserve natural resources. The Resource-Recycling Waste Management is necessary to explicitly show objectives, and to evaluate the achievement level gained by school administration. In this paper, focusing on resource-recycling school waste management, three indicators are designed to evaluate the present conditions of school waste management, which include evaluation of school policy, waste management and education for waste management by school administration. Each indicator is made up of three or four questions that are supposed to be answered by school managers, teachers and students. Questionnaire surveys, which is based on the resource-recycling school waste management indicators, were carried out in elementary school, middle school and high school in the National Capital region. The resulting of indicators well describe the situation of school waste management among these schools. Influential strategies towards resource-recycling school waste management have been found in analysis.

  • A literature has demonstrated that the three dimensions of corporate sustainable management activities (economic, social, and environmental responsibility) affect corporate performance via reciprocity and trust (expertize-based trust and benevolence-based trust) perception. However, previous studies show some inconsistent results for the effects of reciprocity and trust perception on the relationship between corporate sustainable management activities and corporate performance. Thus, this paper re-analyzes the relationships between the constructs based on various industries and customers. The empirical results can be summarized as follows. Expertise-based trust is affected not by social responsibility and environmental responsibility but economic responsibility.

  • This study aims to examine the effects of high school students' time management behaviors on their satisfaction with educational consumption and school life. Three hundred seventy-six high school students in Seoul participated in this investigation. The SPSS ver. 19.0 program was adopted for the descriptive analysis, factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, and multiple regression analysis. The results of the present study can be summarized as follows: first, the levels of time management behavior, satisfaction with educational consumption at school, and satisfaction with school life were relatively high. Second, an analysis of the relative influence on satisfaction with educational consumption revealed that the students' time management behavior was the most influential factor, followed by academic achievement. As the levels of time management behavior and academic achievement were high, the level of satisfaction with educational consumption was high. Finally, an analysis of the relative influence of satisfaction with school life also revealed that the students' time management behavior was the most influential factor, followed by academic achievement. Based on the findings, that is, the effects of high school students' time management behavior and other involved variables on their satisfaction with educational consumption and school life, a future study can present specific ways to enhance the level of satisfaction with educational consumption and school life.

  • Practical applications of learning systems usually involve complex domains exhibiting nonlinear behavior and dilution by noise. Consequently, an intelligent system must be able to adapt to nonlinear processes as well as probabilistic phenomena. An important class of application for a knowledge based systems in prediction: forecasting the future trajectory of a process as well as the consequences of any decision made by e system. This paper examines the robustness of data mining tools under varying levels of noise while predicting nonlinear processes in the form of chaotic behavior. The evaluated models include the perceptron neural network using backpropagation (BPN), the recurrent neural network (RNN) and case based reasoning (CBR). The concepts are crystallized through a case study in predicting a Henon process in the presence of various patterns of noise.

  • Many processes in the industrial realm exhibit sstochastic and nonlinear behavior. Consequently, an intelligent system must be able to nonlinear production processes as well as probabilistic phenomena. In order for a knowledge based system to control a manufacturing processes as well as probabilistic phenomena. In order for a knowledge based system to control manufacturing process, an important capability is that of prediction : forecasting the future trajectory of a process as well as the consequences of the control action. This paper examines the robustness of data mining tools under varying levels of noise while predicting nonlinear processes, includinb chaotic behavior. The evaluated models include the perceptron neural network using backpropagation (BPN), the recurrent neural network (RNN) and case based reasoning (CBR). The concepts are crystallized through a case study in predicting a chaotic process in the presence of various patterns of noise.

  • Record management, especially in schools as an institution's information centre, needs serious attention from government agencies. Under record management policy, there needs to be practical guidance on record management specific to schools. This paper aims to construct a record management model based on the Eight Indonesian Education Standards to support school accountability in Indonesia. The urgency of this paper in filling the gap in the Electronic Record Management System (ERMS) role is primarily to support school accountability. It is important to include educational laws and regulations in Indonesia to be a foundation in archive management, including preparing the ERMS. This study aims to develop a model of record management in schools. The final stage in this research is to find the final model. The final model is a model that experts and practitioners have validated. A total of 30 records managers were selected for the interviews. Furthermore, the trial was carried out in 30 senior high schools. The research sampling consisted of representatives of archive managers at selected schools from five islands in Indonesia (Kalimantan, Java, Papua, Sumatra, and Sulawesi). Our research findings show that conceptual models meet valid criteria and significantly impact archivist performance in better schools. The practical implication is that the archival management model based on national education standards policies contributes to practical archives and records management to support school accountability.

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify levels of health teacher's perception and performance on abdominal pain management in elementary schools. Methods: The participants were 207 health teachers in elementary school in B metropolitan city. In a descriptive cross-sectional study, the structured self-report questionnaire was developed based on the literatures and school health care guidelines by the researchers. The data were analyzed using the PASW 18.0 program. Results: The mean scores (${\pm}SD$) on perception and performance of abdominal pain management were $4.02{\pm}0.43$ (range 1~5) and $3.47{\pm}0.41$ (range 1~5), respectively. Their perception and performance of abdominal pain management had a statistically significant correlation (r=.27, p<.001). In a regression analysis, the performance of abdominal pain management was significantly influenced by perception of abdominal pain management, career of health teachers, self-confidence in abdominal pain management, and total number of classes in a school. The regression model explained 19% of the variance of performance of abdominal pain management. Conclusion: These findings showed that the performance levels were lower than its perception levels of elementary school health teachers on abdominal pain management for students. It suggests that the standardized abdominal pain management guideline is developed to improve the performance of school health teachers.
