Soundtrack dissonance, which appears in the background music of a movie scene, is a phenomenon of using songs or compositions that contrast with the general sentiment of the situation. A sad scene usually uses a slow tempo of sad music to match the mood of the scene. However, sometimes, in order to play background music that follows a depressing, sad, or anxious scene, there is a case of inserting music with an opposite atmosphere such as bright music, exciting music, fast-tempo music, or magnificent music. The method of presenting music that is contrary to the mood of the scene is a kind of psychological technique that inflicts a kind of mental shock on the audience and makes them remember a particular situation. In this study, we have investigated the meaning coming from scenes and Soundtrack Dissonance in movies, in order to understand the role that music and images play.
Purpose: Effective time management, as well as life-saving care, are important in maximizing the prognosis of patients who have sustained major traumas. This study evaluated the appropriateness of emergency medical system (EMS) provider's essential care and how this care impacted on-scene time in patients with major traumas. Methods: This retrospective observational study analyzed the EMS major trauma documents, classified according to the physiological criteria (Glasgow coma scale <14, systolic blood pressure <90mmHg, Respiration rate <10 or >29) in Daejeon, from January, 2015 to December, 2018. Results: Of the 707 major trauma cases, the mean on-scene time was 7.75±4.64 minutes. According to EMS guidelines, essential care accuracy was 67.5% for basic airway, 36.4% for advanced airway, 91.2% for cervical collar, 81.5% for supplemental oxygen, 47.0% for positive pressure ventilation, 19.9% for intravenous access and fluid administration, and 96.0% for external hemorrhage control. Factors affecting on-scene time were positive pressure ventilation (p<.004), and intravenous access and fluid administration (p<.002). Conclusion: Adherence to guidelines was low during advanced airway procedures, positive pressure ventilation, intravenous access, and fluid administration. In addition, the on-scene time was prolonged when the practitioner provided positive pressure ventilation, intravenous access, and fluid administration; however, these durations did not exceed the recommended 10 minutes.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to verify the relationships among social support, resilience and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and especially to identify factors influencing PTSD in police crime scene investigators. Methods: A cross-sectional design was used, with a convenience sample of 226 police crime scene investigators from 7 Metropolitan Police Agencies. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires during July and August, 2015. Data were analyzed using t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test, Fisher's exact test, and binary logistic regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: The mean score for PTSD in police crime scene investigators was 13.69 .11 points. Of the crime scene investigators 181 (80.1%) were in the low-risk group and 45 (19.9%) in high-risk group. Social support (t=5.68, p<.001) and resilience (t=5.47, p<.001) were higher in the low-risk group compared to the high-risk group. Logistic regression analysis showed that resilience (OR=4.74, 95% CI: 1.57~14.35), and social support (OR=2.13, 95% CI: 1.23~3.69) are effect factors for PTSD low group. Conclusion: For effective improvement of PTSD in police crime scene investigators, intervention programs including social support and strategies to increase should be established.

The perceptual characteristic on the slope scenery around highway is very similar as the general perceptual characteristic in the landscape. This process determines by the relationship between the scenery observers and the characteristics of its place. It is very important to have a analysis on highway slope scenery in our particular culture in Korea since our country's highways are done by cutting mountains : therefore, we have a lot of slopes around highways. The physical characteristics on the highway scenery determines how we should build scenery around highway to a satisfactory level. The results drawn from this research work are as follow: 1) The satisfaction for slope scene had been affected by sex, native and experience of travel. I thought that the slope scene having peculiar form will offer the highest satisfaction. 2) Psychological factor, reflected satisfaction of slope scene, 몽 a grip of three factors as the factor of evaluation, texture, formation, and presumption formula is : Satisfaction=1.04(Evauluation factor)+0.83(Texture factor)+0.15(Formation factor)+4.28)R2=0.69). 3) Vine among the vegetation componeents of slope scene highly correlated with the evaluation factor and grass, shrub correlated with the texture factor. 4) Rock among the structual components of slope scene highly correlated with the formation factor, and stockade, lattice correlated with the evalution factor. 5) Gradient among the properties which determined slope form, highly correlated with the formation factor.

In this paper. we propose the method of Scene Change Detection for video sequence using the DC components and the moving vectors in the Macro Blocks in the DCT blocks. The proposed method detects the Scene Change which would not be related with the specific sequences in the compressed MPEG domain. To do this. we define new metrics for Scene Change Detection using the features of picture component and detect the exact Scene Change point of B-pictures using the characteristics of B-picture's sharp response for the moving vectors. In brief, we will detect the cut point using I-picture and the gradual scene changes such as dissolve, fade, wipe, etc. As a results, our proposed method shows good test results for the various MPEG sequences.

In this paper, we propose new methods to detect a scene cut and a dissolve region in compressed MPEG video sequences. The scene cut detection method uses edge images obtained using DCT AC coefficients and the dissolve detection method utilizes the macroblock type information of the MPEG stream. The proposed scene cut detection method is insensitive to brightness and can detect scene changes more precisely than the methods using DC coefficients since AC edge images can express original images more exactly than DC edge images do. The proposed dissolve detection method using the number of intra macroblocks(MBs) computationally efficient since it does not require the decoding process. Experimental results show that the proposed methods perform better in detection scene changes than conventional other methods.

A scene changing detection using histogram and header information of H.264 video stream is presented in this paper. The method using histogram is normal to be detect the changing scene. But this technique results in a lot of processing time because video data is compressed and decompressed to video stream and calculated the difference of histogram between scenes on the each frame. The method using H.264 header information is available to detect the scene change at real time without the process of calculation. Histogram and header information is more rapid for scene change detection with being the same performance in precision and recall.
We propose a method using a transformation of an object and a scene tree in order to author MPEG-4 contents for mobile devices in this paper. The method transforms media objects in the scene into geometry objects in order to reduce initial loading time of the contents, and reduces an external form of each object in a scene of the content for presenting it efficiently on the small interface of mobile devices. Therefore, the contents for mobile devices are reconstructed by the method. An original object in the scene is presented on a mobile device when a user clicks a related geometry object. The method was applied to a conventional authoring tool, so we could find that the method showed an efficient presentation of MPEG-4 contents on mobile devices.

Image always carry useful information, detecting a text from scene images is imperative. The proposed work's purpose is to recognize scene text image, example boarding image kept on highways. Scene text detection on highways boarding's plays a vital role in road safety measures. At initial stage applying preprocessing techniques to the image is to sharpen and improve the features exist in the image. Likely, morphological operator were applied on images to remove the close gaps exists between objects. Here we proposed a two phase algorithm for extracting and recognizing text from scene images. In phase I text from scenery image is extracted by applying various image preprocessing techniques like blurring, erosion, tophat followed by applying thresholding, morphological gradient and by fixing kernel sizes, then canny edge detector is applied to detect the text contained in the scene images. In phase II text from scenery image recognized using MSER (Maximally Stable Extremal Region) and OCR; Proposed work aimed to detect the text contained in the scenery images from popular dataset repositories SVT, ICDAR 2003, MSRA-TD 500; these images were captured at various illumination and angles. Proposed algorithm produces higher accuracy in minimal execution time compared with state-of-the-art methodologies.
This paper aims to describe the basic structure of novel object-based 3D audio broadcasting system To overcome current uni-directional audio broadcasting services, the object-based 3D audio broadcasting system is designed for providing the ability to interact with important audio objects as well as realistic 3D effects based on the MPEG-4 standard. The system is composed of 6 sub-modules. The audio input module collects the background sound object, which is recored by 3D microphone, and audio objects, which are recorded by monaural microphone or extracted through source separation method. The sound scene authoring module edits the 3D information of audio objects such as acoustical characteristics, location, directivity and etc. It also defines the final sound scene with a 3D background sound, which is intended to be delievered to a receiving terminal by producer. The encoder module encodes scene descriptors and audio objects for effective transmission. The decoder module extracts scene descriptors and audio objects from decoding received bistreams. The sound scene composition module reconstructs the 3D sound scene with scene descriptors and audio objects. The 3D sound renderer module maximizes the 3D sound effects through adapting the final sound to the listner's acoustical environments. It also receives the user's controls on audio objects and sends them to the scene composition module for changing the sound scene.
