Purpose: The incomplete reduction of the sesamoid has lately been issued as cause for recurrence. In this study, we analysed factors that may influence reduction of sesamoid. Materials and Methods: The study consists of 50 cases operated by single surgeon. Eighteen cases were done by proximal chevron osteotomy, and 32 cases were done by scarf osteotomy. Hallux valgus (HV) angle and intermetatarsal (IM) angle were measured before and three months after the surgery. Sesamoid position (SP) was classified according to Hardy and Clapham grade system. Results: After the proximal chevron osteotomy, the correction of the mean HV angle was $19.5^{\circ}$, and IM angle was $6.2^{\circ}$. SP was changed from 5.6 to 3.4 grade. After the Scarf osteotomy, the correction of the mean HV angle was 25 degree, and IM angle was $9^{\circ}$. SP was changed from 5.5 to 2.8 grade. There was difference of sesamoid's correction between two different method of surgery (p=0.127). However, better correction of sesamoid was witnessed with bigger correction angle regardless of method of surgery (p=0.002, 0.001). Conclusion: We believe surgical method do not effect sesamoid's correction but more correction angle can result in better correction of sesamoid position.

The study surveyed preference and Actual Condition of wedding fashion masterpiece brand by consumer's lifestyle group. First, it was found that the brand preference by wedding fashion masterpiece consumer was Bulgari in precious metal, Burberry in scarf, Louisvuitton in bag and Chanel in cosmetics. Second, as a study result of purchase status, wedding fashion masterpiece brand consumers, who enjoy shopping about 1 time a month, usually purchased the masterpiece in masterpiece hall of department store. Their total purchase amount for wedding was less than 5 million in most cases. Third, regarding purchase-experience brand by consumer's lifestyle group, in clothes, there was significant difference between 4 groups such as shopping unconcerned type, reasonable economic type, self-focused brand-oriented type and social achievement type. In bag, slight difference appeared in 4 groups. Fourth, as a study result of the brand preference by consumer's lifestyle group, there was somewhat significant difference between precious metal, clothes, scarf, bag and cosmetic variables. Fifth, as a study result of the difference of information source use by consumer's lifestyle group, it was found that social achievement type used most various sources such as commerce, store and personnel information. Sixth, as a study result of shopping trend by consumer's lifestyle group, social achievement group searched for pleasure, unique personality and ostentation. Shopping unconcerned type searched for necessary shopping with comfortable style without sparing time in shopping.

자전거 이용자가 안경 및 선글라스를 쓴 상태에서 마스크를 착용 할 때 여러 가지 불편함을 호소한다. 본 논문은 이러한 불편함을 보완하여 자전거 라이더들에게 필요한 일회용 미세먼지 마스크를 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 미세먼지 마스크의 특성상 일회성 정전기 발생 섬유와 마스크의 형태적 문제로 연구범위를 제한하고 기존 미세먼지 마스크를 간결한 제작공정으로 디자인한다. 이렇게 개발된 일회용 미세먼지 마스크는 세로방향 접힘으로 입 앞 마스크 내 공간을 충분히 확보하였고 거친 숨에도 입에 닿지 않게 접힘 부위형태가 유지 되게 하여 답답함을 최소화 하였다. 코지지대에 유선형 스폰지를 부착하고 안면 볼 부위를 일반마스크 보다 2.5cm 정도의 확장하여 측면 밀착성을 높였다. 또한 기존에 없던 일회용 미세먼지 스카프 마스크를 제작하여 안면과 목 부위 자외선을 차단하고 밀착성 높은 미세먼지 마스크를 개발하였다.

2020년부터 현재까지 COVID-19가 지속되고 있으며, 사회적으로도 많은 변화가 생겼다. 마스크를 착용하는 것은 필수가 되었고, 마스크 미착용 시, 공공시설이나 식당 등을 이용할 수 없게 되었다. 이로 인해 대부분의 공공시설 출입구에서는 마스크 인식 시스템을 구비하여 마스크 착용 여부를 확인하고 있다. 그러나 목도리로 입을 가린 사람이나 마스크를 제대로 착용하지 않은 사람 등에 대한 판별 여부가 불분명하다. 본 연구에서는 YOLOv5를 이용한 임베디드 마스크 인식 시스템을 제안하였다. 기존 마스크 인식 시스템과는 달리 마스크 착용 여부뿐만 아니라 목도리를 입으로 가린 사람, 손으로 입을 가린 사람 등 다양한 예외 상황에서도 마스크 착용 여부를 구별해낼 수 있었으며, Nvida Jetson Nano Board에 탑재하였을 때 우수한 성능을 보였다.

A method of strength evaluation applying fracture mechanics in the adhesively bonded joints of Al/Steel dissimilar materials was investigated in this paper. Various shapes of adhesively bonded Al/Steel scarf joints focussing on fracture criterion of mixed mode crack were prepared for the static tests. Also, stress intensity factors of the interface cracks in adhesively bonded joints of Al/Steel dissimilar materials were analyzed with 2-dimensional elastic program of boundary element method(BEM), and the experiment of fracture toughness were carried out under various mixed mode conditions. From the results, the fracture criterion and method of strength evaluation by the fracture toughness in adhesively bonded joints of Al/Steel dissimilar materials were proposed.

In this paper, a failure model for co-cured steel-composite tubular single lap joints has been proposed incorporating the nonlinear mechanical behavior of steel adherends and different failure mode s such as steel adherend failure and composite adherend failure. The characteristics of the co-cured steel-composite tubular single lap joint were investigated with respect to the test temperature, the stacking sequence of composite adherend, the thickness ratio of steel adherend to composite adherend, and the scarf ratio of steel adherend. Thus, the optimum design method for the co-cured steel-composite tubular single lap joint was suggested.

This paper explains compressive behaviors of sandwich composite laminates with adhesively bonded patches. The sandwich composite laminate is used for a train carbody structure and is of an aluminum honeycomb core and CF1263 woven fabric carbon/epoxy faces. The sandwich composite laminates were damaged by low velocity impact. The damaged sandwich composite laminate was repaired using scarf repair method. Then, the strength restoration of it was assessed by compressive test. From the test, it could be known that the compressive strength was restored up to 91% of undamaged one.

Face recognition is considered a complex biometrics in the field of image processing mainly due to the constraints imposed by variation in the appearance of facial images. These variations in appearance are affected by differences in expressions and/or occlusions (sunglasses, scarf etc.). This paper discusses incremental Kernel Fisher Discriminate Analysis on sub-classes for dealing with partial occlusions and variant expressions. This framework focuses on the division of classes into fixed size sub-classes for effective feature extraction. For this purpose, it modifies the traditional Linear Discriminant Analysis into incremental approach in the kernel space. Experiments are performed on AR, ORL, Yale B and MIT-CBCL face databases. The results show a significant improvement in face recognition.

Applications of bonded dissimilar materials such as metal/ceramics and resin/metal joints, are very increasing in various industry fields. It is required to find crack propagation direction and path applying to the fracture mechanics on the bonded joint of dissimilar meterials. In this paper, crack propagation direction and path were simulated numerically by using boundary element method. Crack propagation angle is able to easily determine based on the maximum stress concept. Fracture tests of Al/Epoxy dissimilar materials with an interface crack are carried out under various mixed mode conditions by using the specimens of bonded scarf joints. It is found that the experimental results are well coincide with the analysis results of boundary element method.

Scandinavia consists of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Lapland, all linked by historical and geographical ties. In this respect, the objective of this research was to clarify the folk costume of the Scandinavia. Scandinavia many skilled handicrafts are practised, such as leatherwork, silverwork and embroidery. The most popular colours are yellow, blues, reds, greens and white. For women the costume consist of a blouse with a bodice, skirt and apron, over which is worn a jacket or shawl, accompanied by a headdress. Their accessories may be jewellery, belts, kerchiefs and separate pockets. For the men, the costume is a shirt, trousers or breeches, worn with a waistcoat and jacket, neck scarf, and topped with a hat or cap. And the Lapps, both men and women, wear woollen shirts beneath their blue-skirted tunics, and blue trousers. It is one of the most ancient of the costumes worn in western Europe, due to its total suitability to their way of life.
