문제중심학습(PBL)이 현장실습수업 참여능력과 문제해결력 향상에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on the Ability to Participate in Field-Education Classes and Improvement of Problem-Solving Skills)

  • 본 연구에서는 PBL 수업으로 전문대학교 학생들의 현장실습수업 참여능력, 문제해결능력 강화와 동시에 현장실습 참여 역량과 문제해결력을 향상시킬 수 있는 PBL 수업 기초연구자료모델을 구축하는데 목적을 두었다. 대상자는 경북 소재의 D대학교 현장실습 교과수업을 하고 있는 5개 학과의 71명을 최종 분석 대상으로 하여 2021년 10월10일~12월 05일까지 7주간 사전검사, PBL수업 운영, 사후검사의 3단계로 실시하였다. 전·사후 검사를 통해 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20을 활용하으며 사전, 사후 효과를 알아보기 위해 대응표본 t검증을 실시하였다. 연구 내용: PBL 수업을 활용한 수업이 전문 대학생의 현장실습 수업 참여에 미치는 효과를 확인한 결과 전문 대학생의 현장실습 수업참여와 문제해결 능력에 통계적으로 유의미한 효과를 확인하였다. 결론 및 제언: 본 연구에서는 PBL 수업은 전문대학생의 현장실습 수업에서 학생들이 주도적으로 학습을 참여하고 이끌어 가는데 유의미한 도움을 주는 것으로 확인된다. 이는 결국 빠르게 변화해 가고 있는 직업 환경을 준비하는데 있어 직접 문제해결방법을 찾고 그 능력을 높이는데 도움이 되는 것으로 확인된다.

아동과 노인간의 세대공동체 구현의 의미에 관한 연구 : 세대공동체 프로그램 참여 노인을 중심으로 (A Study of the Meaning of Intergenerational Linkages made by Children and the Elderly)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 아동들과 노인들이 만드는 세대공동체가 노인들에게 주는 의미와 세대공동체 구현을 저해하는 요인을 밝히는 데 있다. 이를 위해 문화기술적 연구의 주요 방법인 참여관찰 및 면담 기법을 사용하였으며, 연구 참여자는 총 24명이다. 연구 결과, 노인들은 아동들과 세대공동체 구현을 위한 다양한 프로그램에 참여하면서 다음과 같은 의미체계를 만들어 갔다. 첫째, 세대 간의 의사소통이 원활해짐에 따라 세대 간의 이해가 증대된다. 둘째, 공동체 안에서의 자연스러운 조화로 함께 성장하는 문화가 형성된다. 셋째, 삶에 대한 만족감과 자신감이 회복되어 자기 효능감이 높아진다. 넷째, 유목적이고 창조적인 활동을 통하여 새로운 놀이문화를 창조한다. 다섯째, 끊임없이 배우며 나누는 기쁨을 공유한다. 그러나 이 과정에서 경직화된 관료주의적인 운영과 프로그램에 참여하는 노인들의 다양한 개인차와 같은 문제점을 발견하였다. 또 세대공동체 형성을 위한 프로그램 부족과 세대 간 접촉기회의 부족도 문제점으로 지적할 수 있었다. 그러나 세대공동체 구현을 위한 노력은 세대 간의 이해와 협조를 돕고 노인들의 성공적 노화에 기여함을 알 수 있었다.

지방자치단체의 재난안전 관리에 대한 주민 인식태도 연구 - 충청북도 지역을 중심으로 - (Study on Recognition Attitudes of Residents on Safety Management against Disasters of Local Governments: Focused on Chungcheongbuk-do)

  • 재난안전의 가장 중요한 주체 중 하나인 지방자치단체의 관리 및 대응역량은 지역주민의 삶과 직결될 수 있는 중요성을 갖는다. 따라서 이 연구는 충청북도를 중심으로 실증연구를 통해 지역주민들이 인식하고 있는 지방자치단체의 재난안전 관리체계와 대응역량을 평가하고 이를 통해 향후 자치단체들이 주민들의 안전도 향상과 효과적인 재난안전 관리 체계 구축을 위해 검토해야 할 정책 추진방향 등에 대하여 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 첫째, 재난안전에 대한 위험 인식에 있어 자연재난의 발생 가능성에 대한 위험 인식이 사회재난이나 안전사고 보다 높게 나타나고 있다. 둘째, 재난안전 관리 영역의 중요도에 있어서도 자연재난의 영역을 더욱 크게 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지방자치단체의 재난안전 관리 업무 중 기본적 업무 수행에 대해서는 평균 이상의 만족도를 보였지만 각 단계별 업무 수행 중 위험요소의 점검 및 전달, 단기적 복구체계는 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다. 넷째, 재난안전 관리를 위한 지방자치단체의 역량에 대해서는 담당부서의 역량과 전문성에 대해서는 긍정적으로 평가하고 있지만, 안전 관련 조직의 규모나 예산에 대해서는 상대적으로 낮게 평가하고 있었다. 다섯째, 재난안전을 위해 지방자치단체가 추진해야 할 정책방향으로는 교육 및 체험 등의 정규교육 강화, 지역주민 대상 교육 확대, 시설 및 재원의 지원 강화, 주민참여 운동의 활성화, 소방 및 치안 분야 장비 및 처우개선, 수시 순찰 관리 및 감시, 재난 대비 훈련을 확대해야 한다는 의견이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 지방자치단체의 재난안전 관리체계를 강화하여 효과적인 대응체계를 구축하기 위해서는 재난안전 취약계층에 대한 지원 프로그램 확대, 지역친화형 재난안전체계 구축, 주민 참여형 협력체계 확대, 경찰이나 소방 등 안전 관련 기관과의 협력 및 지원체계 강화가 필요할 것이다.

도시빈곤여성의 건강가치, 건강통제위성격 및 자아존중감과의 관계 (Value of Health, Multidimensonal Health Locus of Control and Level of Self-esteem in Low Income Mothers)

  • As a product of poverty, health means the physical, mental and social instability caused by poverty. High mortality, high morbidity, and unsatisfied needs for medical care indicate the health condition of poor people. These indicators are related to the social and psychological property. This study is to develop an effective method of nursing in the poor family which is an essential unit in the nursing field of the community and to which a fundamental approach is need as a top priority. We can make such a study, though partially, by revealing the relationship among the Health-value, Health Locus of Contol, and the Level of Self esteem. We randomly sampled 243 women who are participating in the nursing department of the comnnity nursing centers in Seoul. We investigated by using questionaries and made an analysis on the result by SAS program. The result of this investigation can summarized as follows : 1. The average age of the subjects investigated is 43.4 and the participation rate in the economic activity is as high as 49.4%. Most of them are paid daily. The average members of the family are 4.28 persons, and 80.2% of which are nuclear families. The type of housing is as follows:51.4% are monthly-rent houses. Rent houses represent 23.5%. And 43.6% of the subjects graduate the high schools 2. The level of self-esteem possessed by the subjects is 37.17. The quality of task performance(3.46) and the morality(3.53) are low as compared with the other qualities. 3. In relation to the locus of control, internality is 22.39, the influence of powerrful others represents 20.24, and the effect of chance occurance is 16.41. 4. The orderings of value scale are the physical and mental health, comfortable life, happiness, mental peace, and pleasure. The lowest order is social recognition. 5. Considering in relation to the self-esteem and the locus of control, we found out that there is a negative relationship among the self-esteem, the influence of powerful others. The lower the level of self-esteem is, the higher the influence of powerful others is. There is also a negative relationship among the detailed items such as the qualities, and the positive attitude. 6. In a significant test in the general characters of the subjects and in the level of self-esteem, we can obtain the follwing results. The higher the economic level is, the higher the level of self-esteem is. And the higher the level of satisfaction with life is, the higher the level of self-esteem is. 7. In the locus of control, the higher the economic level is, the higher the internality is. 8. In the health-level, 75.72% represent the high health -level. And the group which has the low satisfaction with life represents the high level of health-value(81.6%). With these results, we can conclude that the level of self-esteem possessed by the poor women living in the city is high and that they have the multi-dimemsional health-value even though they are living in the poor condtions. Traditionally, the poverty has been recognized as an unfavorale factor in the health care. But this study shows that the poverty is no longer an unfavorale factor and, on the contrary, it has a potential power with which people can improve their health by possessing the high self-esteem and the high health value. The ultimate purpose which the nursing task of the community has is to make the patients keep and improve their own health. So, when the nurses approach the poor patients, the nurses should put an emphasis on the individual responsibilities of the patients, and respect their own health value.

마을공동체미디어 생산자의 미디어 경험에 관한 탐색적 연구 제주지역 공동체미디어의 생산과 과제, 정책적 함의를 중심으로 (An Exploratory Study on the Media Experience of Village Community Media Producers Focusing on the Production, Tasks and Policy Implications of Community Media in Jeju)

  • 본 연구는 제주지역 마을공동체미디어 참여자들이 생산과정에서 경험하는 가치를 조망함으로써 마을공동체미디어의 특성을 파악하고자 했다. 이에, 본 연구는 제주지역 마을공동체미디어 참여자 12명의 심층인터뷰를 통해 마을공동체미디어의 생성과 생산과정, 이 과정 속에 투영되는 특정한 가치, 이들의 역할을 보다 활성화시키고, 지속가능한 운영을 위한 발전방안에 대해 주목했다. 분석 결과, 첫째로 제주지역 마을공동체미디어 생성에는 원주민이 아닌 이주민이 중심이 됐고, 지극히 개인적인 '재미'와 '열정', '보람' 등을 느끼고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 마을공동체미디어에 접근하고 참여하는 것에 대해 완전한 개방체로서 존재하고 있었으며, 미디어 콘텐츠는 마을주민들의 일상적인 삶의 이야기와 기록으로 남겨지지 않은 마을 어르신들의 숨은 이야기들로 채워지고 있었다. 마을공동체미디어의 생산과정의 특징으로는 수평적 소통이 이뤄지며, 공동회의라는 형식을 거치지만 미디어 참여자 개인의 의견을 전적으로 반영하고 있었다. 둘째, 마을공동체미디어 참여자들이 생산과정에 적용하는 가치들을 살펴본 결과, 자발적인 참여에 따른 '소통의 연결고리'와 '소통의 확산체'로서 기능주의적 면에서 소통의 활성화를 통한 마을공동체의 복원을 중요한 가치로 여기고 있었다. 마지막으로, 제주지역 마을공동체미디어의 지속가능한 운영을 위한 과제와 발전방안에 대해 살펴본 결과, 마을주민의 적극적인 참여와 마을공동체미디어 공간 확보, 방송장비 부족과 자치단체의 예산 지원 등으로 요약할 수 있었다. 지속가능한 마을공동체미디어를 위해 자치단체의 안정적 활동을 위한 지원시스템 마련은 시급한 과제임을 다시 한 번 확인할 수 있었다.

농촌 일차 보건사업에 있어서 마을건강원 업무량 및 업적에 관한 연구 (A Study on Performance and Achievement of Village Health Workers in Rural Primary Health Care Program)

  • It is utmostly important to establish the efficient fitable way of peoples' active participation in primary health care especially in the areas where the public or governmental service input for the basic health care is insufficient like as in rural areas of Korea. In light of above reason, this study focused mainly on the evaluation of roles and activities of village health workers (VHWs) who were selected from grass- root level of village people in order to derive further motivation for active participation. This is believed to be a sort of feedback mechanisms. Actually, the authors collected the activity reports of VHWs who had been devoting themselves in the primary health care services of Jeomdong Area, of Yeoju Gun one of Korea University Community Health Action Programmes and survey record on the VHWs activity from correspondent people. 1 hose data were analyzed through computer programmed package. The activities performed by VHWs were limited to the performance in 1985 for conveniance. The summarized results were as follows; 1) General characteristics of VHWs. Among a total of 28 VHWs in the area, about 39.3g of them have been replaced up to the date since the implementation in 1983, because of moving out, occupational employment and of others. The age of majority (75.0%) lied between the range of 30-50, and educational background of 67.9% belonged to category of primary school graduation, about 50% of them experienced to be or were also entiled "chief of women club" of corresponding villages. 2) Work-load of VHWs. Each VHW was assigned for tasks of health care for average 55 households of 248 persons. They shared approximately 6 days a month for the activity in average and it covered 17 cases of basic health care in a month. A half of the VHWs performed home visits irregularly without solidified schedule. 3) Work performance analysis. Informations collected through VHWs were compared with data from official vital registration at local administration center "Myon Office" in 1985. VHWs collected 100.8 of new born, 116.2 of death, 58.3 of move in and 74.8 of move out in comparison with 100.0 of official registration each. Pregnant women of 79.8% of mothers among the total pregnancy of 94 which were confirmed as normally delivered or aborted cases by all means afterwards had been detected by VHWs as being pregnant and all of them received some of antenatal cares by VHWs. All(100%) of delivered women were detected by VHWs through home visits and they were cared postnatally. Whereas, according to the records of birth registration, the places of delivery were clinic in 33.7%, and mother's home in 66.3%, VHWs reported them to be clinic in 48.9%, midwifery in 20.2%. It was cleared that most of misinformation was caused by uncautious filling of birth registration at notification. Among the total of 717 eligible women under age 44 years, family planning status of 92.6% was reported by VHWs confirming practice of control to be 70.8% of reported fertile women. 4) Attitude of VHW on the roles and functions. Although 92.0% of VHWs expressed VHWs to be worthwhile, only 52.0% of them had dignity and satisfaction in their activity and 44.0% of them had passive attitude of working saying they followed direction regardlessly. Concerning difficulties in performance as a VHW, 60.7% of them pointed out lacking of medical and health related knowledge by themselves. Still, 64.0% of them thought visiting unfamilier house to be awful and 40.0% complained forms of activity to be difficult and hard. It was also revealed that 56.6% confessed lack of interest on community health service itself. Most of VHWs needed more educational training especially on clinical fields such as cares of gynecological diseases, hypertension, diabetes, and other chronic diseaes of the aged. Regular on-the-job basic trainings were said to be needed twice a year.

노년기 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 생태체계적 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ecological Factors Affecting the Quality of Life among the Elderly People)

  • 본 연구는 노인의 삶의 질과 관련된 생태체계 요인의 구성요소들을 살펴보고, 이들이 노인의 삶의 질에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 대구와 부산을 중심으로 한 경상남·북도 지역과 대전·충청지역에서 노인복지관을 이용하는 60세 이상 남성노인 171명, 여성노인 272명 총 443명이다. 연구결과는 첫째, 노인의 삶의 질을 영역별로 신체적경제적·정서적·사회적 영역으로 나누었다. 영역별 만족도 중 가장 높은 점수를 보인 것은 정서적 영역이였으며, 신체적 영역, 사회적 영역, 경제적 영역 순으로 나타났다. 노인의 전반적 삶의 만족도는 비교적 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 노인의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 생태체계 요인을 살펴보면, 개인체계 요인군에서 통계적으로 유의미한 것은 자기효능감, 건강상태, 생활수준으로 나타났다. 미시체계 군에서는 배우자와의 친밀감, 자녀와의 친밀감, 자녀의 효의식으로 나타났다. 중간체계 군에서는 지역사회환경으로 나타났다. 거시체계에서는 노인의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 유의미한 요인은 노인차별주의로 나타났다. 셋째, 삶의 질에 정적인 상관관계를 보인 요인은 학력, 건강상태, 생활수준, 자기효능감, 자아존중감, 배우자와의 친밀감, 자녀와의 친밀감, 자녀의 효의식, 사회참여, 지역사회환경으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 노인의 삶의 질에 기여하는 관련체계 요인들의 상대적 중요도를 살펴보면, 사회인구학적 요인에서는 학력 요인이 노인의 삶의 질에 상대적으로 중요한 요인으로 나타났다. 개인체계 요인군에서는 자기효능감과 생활수준이, 미시체계 요인군에서는 자녀와의 친밀감과 배우자와의 친밀감이 노인의 삶의 질에 중요한 요인으로 나타났다. 그러나 중간체계에서는 상대적으로 중요한 요인이 나타나지 않았다. 거시체계 요인군에서는 자녀중심주의가 노인의 삶의 질에 중요한 요인으로 나타났다.

총체적 질관리(Total Quality Management)의 이론적 배경과 그 적용실태 (The Principles of Total Quality Management(TQM) and Its Implementation.)

  • This study is (a) to describe the history of Total Quality Management (TQM) generated in the industry, health care service, and nursing society ; (b) to define the concept, total quality management including the definition of quality ; (C) to explain the each principle of TQM theory developed by main theorists, E. Deming, J. Juran, and B. Crosby ; (d) to give the examples related to TQM implementation at the health care organization ; and (e) to mention the extent to which the health care organizations are able to evaluate their cultural organization toward TQM and have had the way to measure the effect of TQM implementation. TQM referred to Continuous Quality Improvement(CQI), Quality Improvement(QI), and Total Quality Improvement(TQI), was not recognized by experts in the United States industry, but by economists in Japan until the end of the 1970's. However, the United States' government led to introduce the principles of TQM to general industry as well as health care service area so that TQM became a main philosophy to manage the organizations in health care service. TQM is a structured, systematic process for creating organization-wide participation in planning and implementing continuous improvement in quality. E. Deming established the "Chain reaction in Quality" and the fourteen point of TQM. The Chain reaction in quality is to describe the relationship among the reduction of waste, rework, and delay, quality improvement, customer satisfaction, and productivity. There are fourteen points to explain the principles of TQM by E. Deming. Juran defined the "Quality Trilogy" to improve the level of quality in any organization. Quality Trilogy has three steps such as quality planning, quality control, and quality improvement for implementing the TQM projects. Crosby describes his TQM theory by establishing "Four Absolutes" and "Fourteen steps in TQM" implementation. Until now, most healthcare organizations have made efforts to organize the TQM task team and to implement TQM principles with various issues. There are three priorities to select the TQM issues : High-volume, High-risk, and Problem-prone. However, there is no absolute, credible measurement yet to evaluate the effects of TQM implementation in health care organization regardless of the classification of health care organizations, geographical background, and social influence. Thus, developing the evaluation way in terms of TQM is the foremost task in health service area. The most important thing for TQM implementation in the organization is to settle up the concept, cultural transformation from traditional management toward quality.

보건간호사의 사기진작(士氣振作)에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Nurses' Morale)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine public health nurses for their morale, test the effect of each factor on the morale, determine the variables affecting the morale, and thereby, provide for some basic data useful to the development of personnel affair administration for nurses. The survey on the nurses for public health centers was conducted for 10 days from April 23 to May 2, 2001; 96 nurses from Pusan, 101 from Kyonggi-do and 108 from Kangwon-do. The results of the study are as follows; 1. For the demographic variables, those aged between 31 and 39 accounted for the majority $(50.2\%)$ of the sample. $90.8\%$ was married, and $67.9\%$ of the sample graduated from junior colleges. $29.6\%$ of them had worked for 10-14 years and $62.5\%$ was of the seventh rank. $62.3\%$ of the nurses was recruited, and $59.4\%$ had chosen the public job for its guaranteed status. Half the nurses were working for the county population of which was more than 260 thousands, and $53\%$ of the nurses was serving the public health centers with 11-15 members. $47.3\%$ of them perceived that their living standard is middle or lower. 2. The degree of the moral was found as mean score. 2.65, which is interpreted as low. It has 11 factors. The rank of mean score of the factors is job satisfaction (3.36), sense of belonging (3.36), sense of recognition (3.30), stress due to supervision (3.13), degree of participation (3.05) and self-achievement (3.04), while those scoring lower points were assurance of status (2.58), pay level (2.53), working conditions (2.35) and promotion opportunity (2.31). 3. The degree of moral depending on the demographic variables was significantly affected by such variables as age. academic background, career, rank, employment method, motive for the job, size of the population served and living standards. 4. The result of the Stepwise multiple regression analysis for the morale factors, it was found that self-achievement accounted for $61\%$ of the total variance of the degree of morale, followed by stable status $(18\%)$, working conditions $(8\%)$, job requirements $(4\%)$ and promotion opportunities $(2\%)$; these five factors explained about $94.6\%$ of total variance of the degree of nurses' morale. On the other hand. age $(8\%)$ and academic background $(2\%)$ accounted for $10\%$ of the total variance of the degree of morale. 5. The factors affecting nurses' job life was economic need $(26.7\%)$, personnel management $(17.5\%)$, sense of recognition $(13.2\%)$, human relationship $(11.0\%)$, stable status and personal development in rank. On the other hand, the factors influencing on their possible resignation were children's bringing-up $(27.8\%)$, poor personnel management and promotion $(13.3\%)$, workload $(11.1\%)$ and little personal development $(8.9\%)$, Since such morale factors as promotion opportunity, working condition. pay level and stable status scored lower, it is required to reconsider those factors to improve nurses' morale.

관광호텔 TQM전략에 관한 연구 (A Study on TQM Strategy in Tourist Hetels)

  • TQM is a whole process of systemizing, documenting and measuring of service quality scientifically to achieve zero defects in product quality and to continue to improve the body of the product quality by itself. To have this process be improved continuously, first of all it needs to prepare an ideal environment to understand and to conform to its internal and external customers', that is every guests' and employees' expectations and demands. Then it has to be followed by the next step removing some negative aspects that could be derived from the first mentioned process The third step is to cut the cost be suitable compensation rather than an attitude trying to solve the problems in an easy way. The last essential factor for setting up TQM system is to make good use of the outstanding feature or process as it is reviewed against the superior benchmark. The purpose of this study is meet the customers' expectations and to maximize the hotel's profits by searching TQM(total quality management) strategy in hotels. To attain this research's objective, it follows these three details. Firstly, it defines TQM and its contents. Secondly, it provides the standard of hotel TQM throughout some case studies. Thirdly, it suggests TQM strategic plan in tourism hotel as one of professional management strategies. Two useful methods are used together to achieve the goal of this study. To confirm its theoretical consideration, descriptive studies by the research documents its theoretical consideration, descriptive studies by the research documents published in and out of the country is used. The other is case studies of TQM execution in real hospitality industry, which present the cases of the airline, Jefferson Memorial and the hotel. This research is targeting to demonstrate the successful TQM's exercise in a hotel industry by completing the theoretical studies and case studies on service product quality with an understanding of its importance. As it is said earlier, to lead to the successful TQM's practice, it is necessary to maintain a constant training of the employees. Secondly, it also must identify where it has to focus on to deliver a professional quality management. Thirdly, effective quality management organization needs to be build up. The manager's strong will to accomplish and the employee' active participations are the last condition to be succeed. Once again this study places an emphasis on the fact that TQM is critical to maximize the customers' satisfaction and the hotel's profitability.
