To accomplish the objective of the study a consumer survey was administered for quantitative analysis regarding consumption patterns. The bivariate probit with sample selection model was employed for empirical analysis on the relationship. The estimation results showed that to increase continuously the consumption, it is necessary to improve the quality satisfaction compared to the price, and that it is also necessary to increase the reliability of the certification system and the awareness that the consumption is helpful for health promotion to increase the quality satisfaction compared to price. In addition, it was concluded that in order to induce the purchase of domestic organic products rather than imported organic products, efforts to improve the safety of domestic products, remove the risk of residual pesticides, and increase the reliability of domestic products compared to imported products are needed. Therefore, to reduce the proportion of purchases of imported organic products and increase the consumption of domestic products, raising awareness that the consumption is conducive to health promotion, enhancing the safety of domestic products, and providing accurate information on the safety of imported products are required.

  • Studies show that time pressure affects the purchase decision-making process of consumers. However, in the case of apparel shopping, few studies have looked into the influence of time pressure on the purchase decision-making process. This study aims to determine how perceived time pressure in apparel shopping, time pressure situations, and product type and the interactions between these variables influence the clothing purchase process. An empirical study was conducted among males and females in their 20s and 30s. Perceived time pressure in apparel shopping was measured using four items. Time pressure situations and product types were given in the form of scenarios. A $2{\times}2{\times}2$ experimental design was used, and perceived time pressure in apparel shopping, time pressure situations, and product type were used to create eight different situations. The dependent variables included decision-making speed, anticipated regret, and anticipated purchase satisfaction. Data from 512 subjects were collected through an online data collection. Results showed that the high perceived time pressure group and the shopping situation with time pressure involved a significantly high level of decision-making time, anticipated regret, and anticipated purchase satisfaction. Marketers must understand the real-time pressure situations of consumers.

  • Purpose: This article aims to investigate the influence of pricing and distribution on the level of satisfaction and purchase decisions among consumers of pharmaceutical products in Kazakhstan. Research design, data, and methodology: A mixed-methods research design was utilized, incorporating primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected through a survey administered to customers across various pharmacy types, with 100 valid responses analyzed. Secondary data involved an extensive review of existing literature and analysis of national statistics concerning the pharmaceutical market trends from 2008 to 2022. Results: The results reveal a complex relationship between price perceptions and customer satisfaction. A significant segment of the population views current drug prices as high, which affects their satisfaction levels and purchase decisions. The study also highlights the importance of service quality in enhancing customer satisfaction, suggesting that service improvements could mitigate some of the negative perceptions of pricing. Conclusions: This research contributes to the limited but growing body of knowledge on the impact of pricing strategies on consumer satisfaction in the pharmaceutical sectors of developing countries like Kazakhstan. Focusing on economic and behavioral aspects, this study provides a more holistic understanding of the factors driving consumer satisfaction and purchase behaviors in this critical sector.

  • This study examines the effects of pursued benefits and satisfaction (or dissatisfaction) on repurchase intentions. The research was comprised of a 2 (satisfaction after purchase: satisfaction versus dissatisfaction) ${\times}2$ (product benefit type: utilitarian benefit versus hedonic benefit) ${\times}2$ (hyperopic disposition: high versus low) model, designed with three mixed elements. The subject participants of this study were 168 female university students aged 20 to 29 from the Seoul, Gyeong-gi do, and Chung-cheong do areas. We performed a reliability analysis, T-test, and ANOVA using the SPSS statistic package. The results of this study are summarized as follows. In terms of product benefit that influences repurchase intention based on whether a consumer has experienced satisfaction after purchasing a fashion product, repurchase intention was high for hedonic benefits regardless of the level of satisfaction or dissatisfaction after a purchase. However, we found a significant difference in preference when the hyperopic disposition of a consumer was taken into account. When dissatisfied with a purchase, consumers with low levels of hyperopic disposition displayed higher repurchase intentions for the products of hedonic benefit than those of utilitarian benefits. However, when dissatisfied with a purchase, consumers with high levels of hyperopic disposition displayed low levels of repurchase intention regardless of the type of product benefit. When consumers are satisfied with a purchase, they are more likely to repurchase hedonic products than utilitarian products.
