1. Objectives The purpose of this case report is to evaluate the effects of Sasang constitutional diagnosis and treatment of two delirium patients who were diagnosed Taeumin Dry-Heat Syndrome(燥熱證). 2. Methods Two delirium patients were diagnosed Taeumin Dry-Heat Syndrome(燥熱證) based on their Nature & Emotion (性情), physical characteristics, symptoms. They were medicated Chungpyesagan-tang(淸肺瀉肝湯) through of sleep, complexion, thirst, stool, coating of the tongue, and MMSE(Mini-Mental State Exanmination) score were used of measure improvement. 3. Results and Conclusions Two delirium patients who were treated with Chungpyesagan-tang(淸肺瀉肝湯) showed improvement in delirium symptoms, thirst, constipation, redness of complexion, white coating of tongue, and general condition. These case reports describe the effects on delirium and symptoms of Sasang Constitutional Medication. The necessity of managing the psychological aspects of the pathology through Nature & Emation(性情) is also mentioned.

1. Objectives We analyze Doctor-Patient Relationship in anthropological medicine, medical sociology Oriental Medicine and find out solutions about problems of Modern Medicine which are dehumanized through the meaning of Doctor-Patient Relationship in Sasang Constitutional Medicine. 2. Methods We consider various studies which are related with doctor-patient relationship from models of the Doctor-Patient Relationship, anthropological medicine, medical sociology and Oriental Medicine. And we compare and analyze Sasang Constitutional Medicine's meaning of doctor and patient through Sasang Constitutional Medicine's view of treatment and philosophy. 3. Results and Conclusions 1) In various studies, Doctor-Patient Relationship have been dualistic perspective which is divided into doctor and patient, and lay emphasis on relationship between them. 2) In Sasang Constitutional Medicine, anyone might be a patient because they are human being, anyone might be a doctor as cure their own disease. In other words, doctor and patient are not separated but united. A point of regarding human is the core of illness and cure can present new direction that solves problems of dualistic perspective Modern Medicine.

Objectives The purpose of this case was to report significant improvement of abdominal pain, constipation and a slight improvement of tremor after treatment by Sasang Constitutional Medicine to the patient with Parkinson's disease.Methods The patient was diagnosed as Soyangin according to the result of Sasang constitutional diagnosis, and treated by Sasang constitutional medications and acupuncture. The progress was evaluated with the Global Assessment Scale (GAS).Results The abdominal pain was reduced from Numeric Rating Scale (NRS)9 to NRS1 and headache was reduced from NRS5 to NRS3. The tremor was reduced to GAS 10. Unified Parkinson Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS) was reduced from 40 to 27. The difference of heat distribution between left and right side was reduced and the abdomen was more warmer on Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI).Conclusions Sasang constitutional medicine can be a solution for the non motor symptoms caused by Parkinson's disease.

Objectives The aim of this study was to examine significant improvement of gait ataxia, vertigo and tremor after treatment with Sipyimigwanjung-tang, Hyangsayangwi-tang in a Soeumin Greater Yin Symptomatology patient Diagnosed as Cerebellar ataxia. Methods The patient was diagnosed with Soeumin Greater Yin Symptomatology and treated with Soeumin's constitutional medications and acupuncture. The primary outcome measures for this study were the Unified Multiple System Atrophy Rating Scale(UMSARS) and Cerebellar function test to assess the overall function of patient. Secondary outcome assessment included Global Assessment Scale(GAS), change of patient's sleep, stool and digestion. Results The symptoms of gait ataxia, vertigo and tremor decreased from GAS 100 to GAS 0~40 after treatment, and the UMSARS score decreased in Part I, II. Conclusions This case showed that Sasang Constitutional medicine treatment can be effective treatment method for cerebellar ataxia. We consider that consistent treatment can contribute to improve the patient's quality of life.

1. Objectives The main ingredient of ephedra is ephedrine which affects on autonomic nervous system induce some adverse effects just like vasoconstriction, hypertension, tachycardia, miosis, insomnia, dizziness, headache, and etc. and heart disease. If we use Mahuang according to the Sasang constitution classification in clinic, we could not only may minimize the anxiety but maximize the potential curative value in Asthma Treatment. 2. Methods On a day three times in Mahangjungchentang taken patients who with Ventricular septal defect in the aftermath of the RBBB. We are observed that the main symptoms of change, vital sign, sleep, stool, urine, heart disease. 3. Results Teaumin with asthma, the effect of Mahuang, and the side effects are fewer. The individual effects of herbs are important. but Sasang constitutional effects are important too. 4 Conclusions Mahuang can increase heart disease. But there was a difference among Sasang constitution classification. This has no side effects from Teaumin than other constitutions. If we use Mahuang according to the Sasang constitution classification in clinic. We have an excellent effect on the treatment of asthma.

1. Objectives This study is purposed to classify treatment and diagnosis of So-gal on the relationship of Sasang Constitutional Medicine. 2. Methods We compared conception, symptoms, mechanism and treatment of Sasangin's So-gal in ${\ulcorner}$Dongyisusebowon${\lrcorner}$ ${\ulcorner}$Gabobon${\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}$Sinchukbon${\lrcorner}$ and ${\ulcorner}$Chobongwon${\lrcorner}$. 3. Result and Conclusion (1) So-gal of Soyangin is general disease, it is important disease of interior heat syndrome. So-gal of Taeumin is troubled by dryness of the lung, category of interior heat syndrome, but it bring about various complication. So-gal of Soeumin is important point that divide seriousness of disease. (2) So-gal is interior heat syndrome, it is related to interior heat syndrome of Soyangin, Taeumin. So-gal of Soeumin expresses conclusion of seriousness regardless of exterior and interior disease. (3) So-gal is related to nature, it is most important disease to Soyangin who is apt to variation of nature.

Objectives The aim of this study was to report a improvement of tension type headache severity after using the Melonis Pedicus. Methods 3 Taeeumin patients, suffering from headache, treated with Melonis Pedicus, herb medicine, and acupuncture. After the treatment, Severity of headache was evaluated by Numerical Rating Scale(NRS). Also we checked the reponse of the Melonis Pedicus, and vital sign. Results & Conclusions After using the Melonis Pedicus, the severity of headache decreased from NRS 8 to NRS 1(case1), from NRS 10 to NRS 7(case 2), and from NRS 8 to NRS 6(case 3). And there was not any adverse effect. In conclusion, this study shows that using Meloni Pedicus can be effective treatment for Taeeumin tension type headache patient.

Purpose Because Taeyangin constitutions are very rare, There are few references about Taeyangin diseases. I suppose to gather basic materials on the case of a diagnosis and treatment on Taeyangin constitution patient. So I want to accomplish the theory of Taeyangin diseases. Methods I studied I patients with sequelae of CVA who were diagnosed by Taeyangin at department of Sasang constitutional Medicine in Kangnam Kyung Hee Oriental Hospital, and then I investigated the Ordinary symptoms as the diagnosis and treatment on a Taeyangin constitution Conclusion & Results To diagnose Taeyangin constitution, It is important to find out one's ordinary symptomes(especially appearance, personality, taste of food, existence of $y{\breve{u}}lk{\breve{u}}k{\cdot}haey{\breve{u}}k$, condition of urine and feces)

1. Objectives The purpose of these 2 case studies is to evaluate the effects of Gihwangbeakho-tang which is based on the Sasang Constitutional Medicine for the Herpes zoster. 2. Methods We used Visual analogue sign(VAS) and pictures of the affected part for the assessment. 3. Results After two patients were treated with Gihwangbeakho-tang, the vesicles were cleared and the pain was decreased. 4. Conclusions These 2 case studies show an efficient result of using Gihwangbeakho-tang in the treatment of Herpes zoster.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to report a case of nodules on lower extremities with pain which was treated by herbal medicine treatment and acupuncture.Methods One male patient who had nodules on lower extremities with pain was treated by Yangdokbaekho-tang and Hyungbangsabak-san, and acupuncture according to the result of Sasang constitutional diagnosis.Results and Conclusions The patient's pain and accompanied symptoms were improved after using Yangdokbaekho-tang and Hyungbangsabak-san. The Numeric Rating Scale(NRS) which was used to evaluate pain intensity was decreased from 9 to 2 without using Western medications.
