Recently, the domestic remodeling market is increased in scale. This study is to develop the sanitary piping system which improves quality of life and facility performance when the aged public housing is remodeled. Above all, we found out three standard floor plans in bathrooms of the public housing. And then, the plan and section types of the sanitary piping system were developed for the on-floor piping, a construction cost of each section types was estimated to review the economical fact. Also, the field mock-up test was performed in the type of the pipe shaft with on-floor pit. In result, the developed sanitary piping system was available for the remodeling public housing without a great facility cost. Additionally, the sanitary pipe was replaced easily through the shaft and on-floor fit. And a noise was reduced to a lower unit when the water flowed down.

The flow rate analysis for sanitary fixtures has been studied to determine the water supply piping system and size. The study has been carried out to analyze for a various water supply pressure and piping size theoretically. Also, the study has been carried out to analyze for a various water supply piping system experimentally. The water supply pressure is varied from 0.01MPa to 0.07MPa, and the piping size is varied from 6mm to 15mm. The water supply piping systems are one-to-one, all-loop-type, and bathroom-loop-type water supply piping system. The results indicate that the piping size is able to supply water fully in case of smaller than 15mm if the water supply pressure keep an necessary minimum pressure. And the gap of flow rate is very little for the various water supply piping systems.

It is possible to realize the concept of long-life housing by utilizing the wall piping infill system. However, when using the wall piping infill system, there is no detailed standard in Korea. Problems may occur in actual use. In this study, we use the results obtained from the performance test method as a basic data. Since the load resistance test of the toilet is not available in Korea, GB 6952 (Sanitary wares) of China is applied. According to the experiment of load resistance of the toilet in this study, the strain recovery ability was good. However, it is not possible to exclude the possibility of permanent deformation of the toilet seat due to long - term repeated loading. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the stiffness enhancement of the wall (steel frame) to the fixing part when installing the toilet in the wall pipe infill system.
