This paper shows a new precision actuator of MUTM(miniature universal testing machine) for the testing of compression and tensile load on the MEMS materials and structures. The MUTM consists of a sample holder, an ultraprecision precision actuator(tranlation stage) and load sensor. The precision actuator has been developed for generating displacements with nanometer accuracy and a dynamic range of 1mm simultaneously. In this paper, it can be made by using the displacement property of bi-morph type PZT, which is able to extend the long range(stroke) according to cantilever size. However, it is not enough to be generated for compression and tensile load in miniature universal testing machine. Therefore, three dozen bi-morph type PZTs are used for generating the load. The load and displacement of the precision actuator are 35g and 0.4mm respectively.

다양한 복합재료의 평면 전자파 차폐효과를 플랜지형 동축선 측정치구를 사용하여 평가하였다. 이들 측정결과로부커 제품의 외장재로 사용할 다양한 차폐재료의 선택 우선순의를 결정할 수 있다. 전자파차폐기능 복합재료의 차페 성능은 재료에 포함된 급속분말이나 급속섬유의 종류와 함량에 크게 의존한며, 최적 함량의 결정과 최적 첨가재의 선택이 매우 중요함을 알았다.

The typical instrumental assessment of ununiform natural soils has been carried out by yellowing of the specimens instead of the surface reflectance or the calculated formula. However, the regular instrumental area of sample holder is necessary for the measure of yellowing. Therefore, this study attempted to apply image analysis which had full color image by scanning of one time without limitation of instrumental area. The test samples were analyzed pseudo and full color image. This paper evaluated soil with hue of yellowing and gradation of gray level with color image analysis. Then, it was studied propriety of image analysis with correlation of yellowing, hue and gray level. Ultimately, the proposed image analysis in this paper was advanced method against the typical instrumental assessment.

통전가열, 접촉냉각, 전기적 bias 및 시료 교환을 자유로이 할 수 있는 다기능의 새롭고 간단한 시료 고정장치를 저온 및 초고진공 상태에서 기체와 여러 방향의 시료표면 사이의 상호작용을 연구하기 위하여 고안하였다. 이 장치로써 2분 이내에 기판의 온도를 1600K에서 20K로 2분 이내에 냉각시킬 수 있었다. 그러므로 청결한 표면위에 수소나 He이나 Ne을 제외하고는 대부분의 기체를 흡착시킬 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 장치는 표면에서의 상변화, 기체와 표면의 화학반응의 연구에 중요하게 활용될 수 있다.

This study was conducted to develop a grain moisture meter using microwave free space transmission technique at X-band frequency. The 10.5GHz microwave oscillator using a dielectric resonator was designed and fabricated to transmit electromagnetic wave through standard horn antenna to a sample holder with the wetted Hwasung and Chuchung rough rice(12.00∼26.25%). To detect the output voltage of transmitted wave from receiving horn antenna, the detector was composed of shottkey diode and RF impedance matching circuit. The regression model for measurement of grain moisture content was developed. Its correlation coefficient and standard error of prediction (SEP) were found to be 0.9882 and 0.657 respectively between measure and predicted moisture contents.

To solve the problems in the present ree1-to-reel deposition method, we have developed a new deposition system for a 12m long YBCO coated conductor. The system comprises two chambers, a reaction chamber and a evaporation chamber which are connected through window. A tan long fi tape textured by RABiTS was wound around a cylinderical sample holder of 20cm diameter. The cylinder was rotated in the reaction chamber during deposition of YBCO film by coevaporation. We'll describe the details of the performance of this system as well as the RABiTS process for a 12m long Ni tape.

In this investigation x-ray diffraction method was mainly studied for quantitative analysis of clinker mineral composition. And also optical microscopic observation and Bogue calculation method were applied to compare with the x-ray diffraction method. In the procedure of x-ray diffraction analysis graphite monochromator automatic divergence slit and spinner for sample holder were used for minimizing the error due to the operation of the equipment. Especially the separation of overlapped peaks were proceeded by micro-processor automatically. The results of x-ray diffraction method for synthesized clinker were consistent with the Bogue value and the results of optical microscopic observation. However the results of quantitative analysis of mineral composition or commercial clinker containing solid solution of minor component were different from the Bogue value. On the other hand they agreed reasonably well with results of the optical mic-roscopic observation.

본 논문에서는 이동 가능한 프로브(probe)가 있는, 종단된 동축 슬롯 선로(Coaxial slotted line)를 샘플 液의 흘더로 사용하여, 이동 통신 단말기 의 송신 주파수帶에서의 복소 유전율을 측정할 수 있는 시스템을 제작하였으며, 이를 이용하여 IEEE Std 1528-200X에 서 제안한 기준 액체들(Reference Liquids)의 복소 유전율을 측정 비교하여 봄으로써, 측정 시스템의 타당성을 조사하였다.

본 논문에서는 밀리미터파 대역 전파특성 분석용 샘플홀더 제작을 위하여 전파의 도파이론을 정립하고 밀리미터파 W-bnad(75 GHz ~ 110 GHz) 주파수 대역에 알맞은 도파관형 샘플홀더를 설계 및 실 제작하였다. 그리고 제작된 샘플홀더를 테스트하기 위하여 샘플시료를 제작하여 재료정수 및 전파흡수능을 측정하고 분석하였다. 분석결과 샘플시료 특성을 정확하게 측정할 수 있음을 확인하였으며, 향후 이 측정 샘플홀더는 밀리미터파 대역 전파특성 분석을 위해 매우 유용하게 쓰일 수 있을 것이다.

Airborne suspended particulate concentration in drilling sites of underground coal mines in Taebaek area was evaluated. And respirable coal dust exposure level was evaluated. Airborne suspended particulate mass include total suspended particle(TSP) and thoracic particle(TPM). TSP (by open-face filter holder) and TPM(by elutriator) concentration were determined by low volume air samplers. Personal air samplers were attached to the coal workers including drillers, coal cutters, and their assistants. Normality and log-normality of TSP, TPM, and respirable dust(RPM) concentration were tested by Kolmogorov-Smirnov one-sample test. Differences of means of TSP, TPM, and RPM concentration were tested by paired t-test. Relation between TSP, TPM, and RPM with pairs were tested by regression test and Pearson's correlation.
