갯버들(Salix gracilistyla Miq.)의 질소와 인 제거능 (Removal of Nitrogen and Phosphorus by Salix gracilistyla Miq.)

  • 경기도 양평군 수입천에서 대형 군락을 형성하여 자생하는 갯버들의 영양염류의 농도와 수리학적체류시간에 따른 질소.인 흡수 실험 결과로서 NH$_4$-N, NO$_3$-N, PO$_4$-P제거효율은 저농도에서 체류 시간이 길 때 높은 경향을 보였고, 제거능은 고농도와 짧은 체류시간에서 높은 경향으로 나타났다. 유입농도와 체류시간에 따른 지상부 1g당 제거능 추정식을 구하였다. 수입천 갯버들의 현존량은 4,880.81g/$m^2$로 추정되었고, 현존량과 제거능 추정식으로부터 자연정화량을 추정하였는데, 수입교부터 노문교까지 6km 구간에서 하천양안을 합쳐 10m 폭의 갯버들의 분포에 대해 체류시간 0.59~5.21이며 NH$_4$-N의 유입농도가 0.05~0.4, mg/L 일 때 제거능추정값은 0.49~15.49 kg/day, NO$_3$-N의 유입수의 농도가 1.42~11.36mg/L 일 때 5.83~405.39 kg/4ay, PO$_4$-P 유입수의 농도가 0.1~0.27 mg/L 일 때 7.57~23.22 kg/day로 나타났다.

남강댐 선버들 군락이 수질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Salix subfragilis communities on water quality in Namgang Dam reservoir)

  • 본 연구는 남강댐에서 대규모 선버들 군락의 확장과 고사가 수질에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 하였다. 선버들 군락의 분포면적은 최초로 2003년에 0.12 km2였으나 2019년에는 3.58 km2로서 16 년 사이에 약 30 배로 급격하게 확장되었다. 그러나, 2013년에는 일부가 고탁도 장기 침수와 선버들 군락 내에서의 자기 솎음질(self-thining)에 의하여 분포면적이 0.17 km2 감소했다. 남강댐 저수지의 호소특성은 평균수심, 유역면적/호수 수면적 비, 체류시간, 회전율 및 성층화 등의 측면에서 호소형과 하천형이 복합적으로 나타났다. 호소수질에 대한 장기변동 특성을 분석한 결과, 대규모 선버들 군락지에서 COD, TP 및 엽록소 a 등이 남강댐 수역의 중앙부에 위치한 3 개 지점에 비하여 현저하게 크게 나타났다. 특히, 엽록소 a의 값이 남강댐 수질측정망 3 개 지점의 경향과 다르게 여름이 아닌 겨울에 최대값을 나타내는 것은 외부의 유입보다는 내부에서 발생된 것으로 사료된다. 이러한 남강댐 저수지에서 수질 악화의 한 가지 원인은 선버들 군락에서 낙엽, 가지 및 고사목 등 부산물의 분해과정에서 발생하는 막대한 양의 영양염류인 것으로 추정할 수 있다.

Nutritional Evaluation of Fodder Tree Leaves with Goats

  • Two experiments were conducted to evaluate the nutritional value of common fodder tree leaves with goats fed at 50% of total ration. In experiment 1, leaves from six fodder tree species i.e., Ailanthus aitissima, Elaeagnus angustifolic, Morus alba (Mulberry), Populus spp, Robina pseudoacacia and Salix babylonia were harvested in spring and winter from northern areas of Pakistan. Chemical composition and apparent in situ dry matter digestibility (DMD) of fodder tree leaves were measured. Results showed that crude protein (CP) values were higher (p<0.05) in all the species during spring compared to winter (17.9% vs 12.0%). The concentration of NDF in Elaeagnus and Robinia was higher in spring, whereas no seasonal difference was found in other species. In situ DMD was higher (p<0.05) in Ailanthus and Populus at spring while it was higher (p<0.05) in Elaeagnus, Mulberry and Robinia at winter. There was no (p<0.05) seasonal effect on in situ DMD of Salix. In experiment II, four iso-nitrogenous and iso-caloric rations viz., A, B, C and D were prepared containing 50% (winter harvested) sun dried leaves of Salix, Robinia, Mulberry and Elaeagnus, respectively and 50% concentrate. Dry matter and crude protein intakes were higher (p<0.05) given ration A (Salix) whereas DM and CP digestibility was lowest (p<0.05) given ration B. Nitrogen retention was higher (p<0.05) given ration A. Goats fed on fodder tree leaves and concentrate showed moderate intake and digestibility.

갯버들 추출물의 항산화 및 미백활성 연구 (Studies on Antioxidant and Whitening Activities of Salix gracilistyla Extracts)

  • 본 연구는 갯버들 추출물의 항산화 활성 및 미백활성을 평가하기 위해 수행하였다. 갯버들 줄기의 용매별 추출물의 총 폴리페놀 함량은 142.60-151.95 mg GAE/g, 총 플라보노이드 함량은 83.43-2.60 mg CE/g으로 확인되었다. 갯버들 줄기의 용매별 추출물의 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) 라디칼 소거활성을 평가한 결과 30% 메탄올 추출물이 가장 높은 항산화 활성($IC_{50}$; $19.68{\mu}g/mL$)을 나타내었다. Tyrosinase 억제활성은 4종류의 용매 추출물 모두 유사하게 평가되었으며, 30% 에탄올 추출물 $200{\mu}g/mL$ 농도가 가장 높은 억제활성(35.18%)을 나타내었다. 갯버들 추출물 중 메탄올 추출물은 B16F10 세포주의 생존율에 영향을 미치지 않은 농도에서 유의적으로 멜라닌 생합성을 저해하는 것으로 확인되었다. 결과적으로 갯버들 추출물은 항산화 및 미백활성을 가지는 효과적인 화장품 성분으로 사용 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

순창지역의 남근형(男根形) 입석(立石)이 세워진 마을의 비보숲에 관한 고찰 - 팔왕(八旺), 태촌(台村) 마을의 비보숲을 중심으로- (A Review on Enclosing Groves of the Village which Standing Stone of Penis Form is existing in Sunchang Region - Centered on Enclosing Groves of Palwang and Taechon Village -)

  • The purpose of this paper is on identifying spatial structure of Palwang and Taechon village and dealing with restoration direction of village spatial structure and village groves. The results are as follows. It was identified that the standing stone for penis form is not standing stone for praying son but complementing that for enforcing enclosed function of enclosing village groves. It was considered that village entrance and entrance road, village grove of Taechon village must be restored for being identified as standing stone of penis form of spatial structure of village. It was considered that the above is essential to connect with ecotourism of Sunchang-gun region. It was identified that Palwang village grove is very good in conservation state, but Taechon village grove has been destructed mostly by various development. It was identified that Palwang village grove is high in species diversity and in scare value as mixed forest, landscape value. The dominent tree of Palwang village was Pinus densiflora and that of Taechon was Salix glandulosa. Salix glandulosa was used pavilion tree, main tree in both village. It was identified that Carpinus tschonoskii is showing the most rapid growth in tree height and Salix glandulosa is showing the most rapid growth in tree breadth diameter of all kind of tree. It was considered that Pinus densiflora was planted first of all and deciduous trees were complemented later. It was considered that simple forest of Pinus densiflora has been changed into mixed forest by artificial affect in the long term. It was considered that Salix glandulosa in Palwang village grove must be indicated as legal protection tree according to present criteria of protection tree selection in Korea. And it is considered desirable that standing stone of penis form and village grove in Palwang village must be indicated unitedly as cultural conservation element.

하천복원을 위한 버드나무속 식물의 내침수성 실험 연구 (Study on Flooding Tolerance of Salix Species for Ecological Restoration of the River)

  • 하천 생태 기능 증대 등 하천복원을 위한 식생 조성 시 내침수성이 강한 식물을 도입해야 하며 이를 위해 침수기간에 따른 하천식물의 생육특성 연구가 반드시 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 버드나무속 식물을 대상으로 식물키, 엽수, 녹색정도, 건중량 등을 측정하여 내침수성 및 침수기간에 따른 성장률을 분석하였으며 탁수에 의한 침수실험 결과와 비교하였다. 실험 결과 갯버들, 버드나무, 왕버들 중 내침수성이 가장 강한 식물은 버드나무이며 정수 상태의 침수는 고탁수 침수보다 고사 가능성이 매우 낮았다. 또한 버드나무속 식물은 20일 이하의 침수 시 비침수 조건보다 식물의 생장에 도움을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

생물공학적 비탈면 녹화공법에서의 버드나무 삽수선택에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Selection of Salix Live Branches in the case of Slope Revegetation Technology of Biological Engineering)

  • There is a need to suggest the standards of selection on the cuttings, because the selection of the willow(Salix) cuttings is very important, which will be used as the bioengineering revegetation material to protect the slope by strengthening soil and preventing soil erosion under the bad site conditions. In this study, we measured the lengths and the diameters of original willow cuttings, the total numbers and the lengths of the new shoots and roots after 15 months since the experimental construction of the slope revegetation technology of biological engineering was conducted, and analyzed the correlation between the lengths and the diameters of willow cuttings and the lengths of new roots using the SPSS program. The results are as follows; First, the lower the elevation of tested slope was, the more the number of new shoots and the average lengths of new roots increased. Secondly, the ratio of underground parts and aboveground parts was 4.24 ~ 5.93 proving the fact that the willow(Salix) is one of the species deep rooted with developed underground parts. Thirdly, there is a strong correlation between the diameters of willow cuttings and the total lengths of new roots, whereas, there is no correlation between the lengths of willow cuttings and the total lengths of new roots. In conclusion, it is more efficient for the early rapid revegetation and slope stabilization to select willow cuttings with the biggest possible diameters than with the longest lengths as the slope revegetation materials of biological engineering.

창원천과 남천의 생태적 복원을 위한 식생 측면의 진단평가 (Diagnostic Evaluation on the Riparian Vegetation in the Changwon and Nam Streams for Preparing a Restoration Plan)

  • The Changwon and Nam streams that run through the Changwon city were evaluated based on longitudinal and horizontal configurations and vegetation state in order to prepare a restoration plan. Riparian vegetation of the Changwon and Nam streams are normally dominated by herbaceous plants. However, the woody plants, Salix pseudolasiogyne, Rubus parvifolius, Salix koreensis, Robinia pseudoacacia, and Amorpha fruticosa have appeared. Planting to introduce various types of plants for landscape architecture has also been observed. Evaluation of naturalness based on the vegetation state of both Changwon and Nam streams showed very low naturalness of degree 1 or 2, with the exception of a few reaches of the upstream sector. In these few reaches of the upstream sector, Salix koreensis and Salix chaenomeloides showed heights at the subtree level, however, they were located at the position of shrubland close to the waterway. These reaches were, therefore, evaluated as degree 3 rather than degree 4 in naturalness. The result of diagnostic evaluation classified by reach indicated the requirement for active restoration, such as transformation of the channelized stream into a meandering one and a step-type cross section into a pool-type one, introduction of vegetation suitable to the region and site, and creation of an ecological network between the stream and the surrounding terrestrial ecosystems.

The Riparian Vegetation of Close-to-Nature River${\cdot}$Streams in Korea

  • The present study was undertaken to classify and describe the riparian vegetation of the 6 river${\cdot}$stream of Korea Peninsula. As a result the vegetation was divided into nineteen communities. The vegetation units obtained in the present study were as follow: A: Salix koreensis community, B: Salix gracilistyla community, C: Robinia pseudo-acacia community, D: Amorpha fluticosa community, E: Brousonnetia papyrifera community, F: Phyllostachys bambusoides community, G: Rubus corchorifolius community, H: Phramities japonica community, I: Phramites communis community, J: Miscanthus sacchariflorus community, K: Miscanthus sinesis var. purpurascens community, L: Artemisia princeps var. orientalis community, M: Humulus japonicus community, N: Zoysia japonica community, O: Inperata cylindrica var. koenigii community, P: Agropyron tsukushiense var. transiens community, Q: Juncos effusus var. decipiens community, R: Rumex crispus community, S: Persicaria hydropiper community. The vegetation characteristics of riversides was recovered in the surveyed results according to river${\cdot}$stream basin, in other words, 10 communities in the upper river${\cdot}$stream riparian, 15 communities in the middle river${\cdot}$stream riparian, 10 communities in the down river${\cdot}$stream riparian. The Phragmites japonica community in the upper and Phragmites communis community in the down was analyzed by common community of the 6 river${\cdot}$stream riparian, respectively, but none in the middle. The standing profile of vegetation across 6 river${\cdot}$stream was seen stepwise Phragmites japonica community, Salix gracilistyla community, Miscanthus sinensis var. purpurascens community, shrub community by natural waterway in the upper, Salix gracilistyla community, Phragmites communis community, Rumex crispus community, Miscanthus sacchariflorus community, Humulus japonicus community in the middle, Phragmites communis community in the down. The differences of distributional featurs of vegetation emerged from the riparian of the 6 river${\cdot}$stream, but don't from the 6 river${\cdot}$stream.

버드나무(Salix koreensis) 현탁배양(懸濁培養) 세포(細胞)의 대사산물(代謝産物) (Secondary Products in Cell Suspension Culture of Salix koreensis)

  • 버드나무의 잎으로부터 유도(誘導)된 callus의 현탁배양(懸濁培養)은 MS 기본배지(基本培地)에 2,4-D 1.0mg/l와 zeatin 0.1mg/l를 첨가(添加)한 액체배지(液體培地)에서 생장(生長)이 가장 좋았다. 액체배지(液體培地)에서 24일간(日間) 세포(細胞)를 배양(培養)한 후(後) 분리(分離)된 배양액(培養液)은 상치, 벼 그리고 피 종자(種子)의 발아(發芽)를 강(强)하게 억제(抑制)하여 배양중(培養中)에 생리활성(生理活性) 물질(物質)이 형성(形成)되는 것으로 추정(推定)되었다. 배양세포(培養細胞)에서는 pyrogallol, sinapic acid, cinnamic acid, tannic+gallic acid 그리고 P-chlorobenzoic acid 등(等)과 같은 여러 종류(種類)의 phenol 화합물(化合物)이 검출(檢出)되어 이들이 강(强)한 발아(發芽) 억제작용(抑制作用)을 하는 것으로 사료(思料)되었다.
