  • Recently, the number of facilities and users of zipline which is the most popular among extreme leisure facilities has been increasing year by year. Zipline is a means of transporting durable wire between two timber or stay and moving the trolley connected to the passenger at high speed in the opposite direction. However, due to the nature of the zip line facility, the risk of accidents is always present and safety accidents are frequently occurring. Therefore, this study investigates the current state of safety management and extract the problem in terms of safety management through analyzing the installation state of zipline facilities in the case of accidents and reviewing of similar facility regulations. In order to solve this problem, we will contribute to establishment of comprehensive and systematic countermeasures and establishment of safety improvement system by suggesting measures to improve safety management through analyzing foreign regulations and safety management regulations for zipline and other extreme leisure facilities.

  • The paper investigates how the semiconductor and electric vehicle industries are addressing safety and security concerns in the era of autonomous driving, emphasizing the prioritization of safety over security for market competitiveness. Collaboration between these sectors is deemed essential for maintaining competitiveness and value. The research suggests solutions such as advanced autonomous driving technologies and enhanced battery safety measures, with the integration of AI chips playing a pivotal role. However, challenges persist, including the limitations of big data and potential errors in semiconductor-related issues. Legacy automotive manufacturers are transitioning towards software-driven cars, leveraging artificial intelligence to mitigate risks associated with safety and security. Conflicting safety expectations and security concerns can lead to accidents, underscoring the continuous need for safety improvements. We analyzed the expansion of electric vehicles as a means to enhance safety within a framework of converging security concerns, with AI chips being instrumental in this process. Ultimately, the paper advocates for informed safety and security decisions to drive technological advancements in electric vehicles, ensuring significant strides in safety innovation.

  • Background: This study examines whether employee perceptions of supervisor behavioral integrity for safety moderates the relationship between top-management safety climate and safety performance (i.e., safety compliance and safety participation) and the mediated relationships through safety motivation. Methods: Data collected from 389 blue-collar employees were analyzed using latent moderated structural equation modeling. Results: The results indicate that the relationship between top-management safety climate and safety behavior, and the mediating role of safety motivation were replicated. Moreover, the results show that the mediated relationships between top-management safety climate and safety behaviors through safety motivation were stronger for employees who report high supervisor behavioral integrity for safety. Conclusion: The study findings suggest the role of supervisor behavioral integrity for safety in clarifying how the employee perceptions of top-management safety climate transfer to the employee safety behaviors through the motivational pathway.

  • This study practically analyzed the relationships of safety awareness and safety practice of the day-care teacher according to the presence of CCTV and in particular, made a practical analysis about whether safety awareness have mediation effects in the relationship between presence of CCTV and safety practice. As a result of T-test analysis, safety awareness and safety practice of the day-care teacher according to the presence of CCTV is different that has been verified. As a result of regression analysis, safety awareness were positively related to safety practice. That is to say, even the mediation effects that the presence of CCTV through safety awareness related to safety practice were verified. As a result, it was concluded that safety awareness factors didn't play mediator roles between presence of CCTV and safety practice.

  • The purpose of this study is to study how to draw up a safety guarantee certificate and its future expected effects in connection with the Industrial Safety and Health Act as it becomes mandatory to draw up a safety guarantee led by the owner who exercises practical decision-making authority and pays for the construction work. Therefore, Therefore, this study predicts the expected effects of the health and safety guarantee on the construction industry and the weaknesses that future health and assurance have in settling in the construction industry in relation to the revised Act on Industrial Safety and Health. And It will be used as basic data on the changes that will be brought by the shipper-led preemptive safety and health management system, as well as strengthening responsibilities and safety for the role of the shipper in the construction industry.

  • Pulmonary toxicity of talc containing tremolite asbestos (TCT) has been studied in term sequential in Sprague-Dawely rats. UICC chrysotile(average diameter 0.03${\mu}m$, average length 2.93${\mu}m$) was applied as the positive control. TCT was analyzed for its physicochemical properties by transmission electron microscope equipped with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer(TEM-EDS). The effects of 2mg TCT(talc average diameter 9.7${\pm}$8.4${\mu}m$; tremolite average diameter 1.6${\pm}$1.6${\mu}m$, average length 10.8${\pm}$7.0${\mu}m$) on pathological changes were evaluated after 1, 8 weeks instilled into rat lungs. 2mg Chrysotile continuously affected lung pathological changes. Inflammation and granuloma response broke out from 1 week after instilled with chrysotile and the pathological examination further showed increased legions of lung after 8 weeks. But TCT did not showed lung pathological changes. The biopersistence of TCT and chrysotile was evaluated by TEM- EDS. Whereas chrysotile continuously have retained to 8 weeks instilled into rat lungs, talc of TCT showed statistically significant decrease of diameter from 1 weeks and statistically significant change in Si atomic % compositions at 8 weeks instilled into rat lungs. Physicochemical properties of tremolite of TCT were not affected until 8 weeks instilled into rat lungs. This study showed that the durability of TCT in the lungs is much weaker than chrysotile.

  • Distribution of various illegal or counterfeit drugs of seven approved erectile dysfunction drugs and their analogues has been increased, causing health problems such as cardiovascular disorder, tachycardia, headache, or vision disturbance. We used liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS/MS) to determine the erectile dysfunction drugs and their analogues in various counterfeit drugs. Eleven erectile dysfunction drugs and their analogues were detected, with sildenafil and its analogues being the most counterfeited compounds (73.8 %), followed by tadalafil and its analogues (25.4 %). The limits of detection (LOD) and the limits of quantitation (LOQ) of liquid-type and solid-type negative samples ranged from 0.1 to 3.3 ng/mL or ng/g and from 0.3 to 10.0 ng/mL or ng/g, respectively. The recoveries ranged from 84.3 to 112.3 % and 83.2 to 110.2 %, respectively. The contents of sildenafil and tadalafil in the various counterfeit drugs ranged from 21.0 to 947.5 mg/g and from 0.2 to 170.2 mg/g, respectively.

  • Manned aircraft structural design is based on structural safety factor of 1.5, and this safety factor is equivalent to a probability of failure of between 10-2 and 10-3. The target failure probability of FARs is between 10-6 and 10-9 per flight according to aircraft type. NATO released STANAG 4703 to established the airworthiness requirements for small UAV which is less than 150kg. STANAG 4703 requires the Target Level of Safety according to MTOW. The requirements of failure probability for small UAV is between 10-4 and 10-5. In this paper, requirements of airworthiness certification for small UAV were investigated and the relationship of safety factors to the probability of structural failure is analyzed to reduce measure of safety factor and structural weight of unmanned aircraft.

  • As people make efforts on accident prevention, the number of accidents has decreased over the years, however the number of fatal major industry accidents has rather increased, which resulted in the increase of the number of deaths in total. Under these conditions, there is an attempt to introduce and perform the safety vocational education system as a means for preventing major industry accidents. Therefore, in this paper, we analyse vocational education of manufacturing industry from the safety's point of view and suggest the efficient techniques measuring and managing each safety management. Proposed techniques show that the specification on safety determines weight through the managers of firms and each process is suggested by using SN ratio.
