This study contain below two contents. First, this study analyse an effect of consciousness of the quality cost for quality cost activity. Second, this study analyse an effect of quality cost activity for productivity improvement. The empirical result of this study is meaning that quality cost consciousness effects productivity improvement by quality cost activity. The paper proposes the misuse types of statistical quality tools according to the kind of data and the number of population in DMAIC process of six sigma. The result presented in this paper can be extended to the QC story 15 steps of QC circle. The study also provides the improvement methods about control chart, measurement system analysis, statistical difference, and practical equivalence.

Since 1996, like other countries the PSM(Process Safety Management) System has been applied into chemical plant in Korea in accordance with the Occupational Safety & Health Law section 49 paragraph 2. This report is to point out the status and the area of concern, further suggest alternative measures along with the wide and in-depth idea of improvement and recommendation to prevent from industrial accident.

This study was conducted a survey for suggesting direction of improvement of on­site inspections in Korean construction industry. The survey is limited perspective of owners, contractors and construction managers (including supervisors) about existing 'construction field inspection manual' with field inspections (eg. central inspection, central quality safety unit inspection etc.): focusing on stakeholder's perception and actual state of inspections.

도시를 첨단 거대 고층빌딩숲으로 융성하게 만든 승강기는 매일 사용하는 중요 수직 교통수단이다. 승강기 안전에 대한 문제점을 분석하여 행정법학적,공학적 개선방안을 제시하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 연구방법은 승강기안전을 구성하는 중요 공학적 요소와 관련법령, 선행연구를 분석하는 문헌적 방법을 채택하였다. 연구내용으로는 승강기안전공단 정책자문위원과 평가위원 경험을 토대로 하여, 승강기안전시스템을 구성하는 공학적 분석으로서 건축,전기,전자,정보통신,선박공학과 승강기안전법을 중심으로 한 법령들의 문제점을 분석하였다. 연구결과로서 승강기안전에 관련되는 관련 공학들간, 관련 법령들 간의 융합적 연계에 의한 이른바 법공학적 시스템이 구축되어야 함을 제시하였다. 향후 승강기 안전에 대한 공학적, 법제도 행정법학적 융합시스템의 구축과 개선입법을 위한 대안으로 활용 될 수 있을 것이다.

According to Railway Safety Act, Korea Transportation Safety Authority (KOTSA) has been entrusted with 'Integrated Railroad Safety Audit (IRSA) and has implemented the safety audit to the railroad operation agencies such as Korea Railroad (KORAIL) and the railroad facility management organization such as the Korea Rail Network Authority (KR Network). The target of IRSA is to establish the effective rail safety management system and to raise the safety level of the railroad operation and facility agencies by checking synthetically their performance of safety duties with sincerity according to the Railway Safety Act. Even though newly introduced IRSA is conducted smoothly, it is necessary to study the methodology and criteria of the state's safety audit system. The purpose of this paper is to improve the efficiency of IRSA by the comparative research between IRSA and other similar safety audit system and to establish the consecutive improvement concept of IRSA. Second purpose is to confirm the effectiveness of IRSA by the analysis of the relationship between audit results and the safety level of the rail operation agencies.
