  • 본 연구의 목적은 안전행동과 사고 발생을 예측하고 관리하기 위해 안전성향검사 도구를 개발하고 타당도를 검증하는 것이었다. 안전 심리 분야에서 근로자의 안전 행동에 영향을 미치는 주요 변인으로 안전 리더십과 안전 문화에 대한 연구들이 많이 진행되어 왔다. Lewin에 따르면 Behavior = Person * Environment으로 환경은 물리적 환경(기계, 장비 등)과 심리-사회적(psyco-social) 환경(안전 리더십/문화)으로 구분할 수 있다. 하지만 국내의 경우 근로자 개인 특성이 안전 수행에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구는 부족하였다. 개인 특성 중 일관되게 행동에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 변인이 성격이고, Lee 등(2018)은 개인 성격이 안전/불안전 행동에 영향을 미칠 확률은 35% 이상이며, 불안전 행동으로 한정해 보면 50% 이상이라고 하였다. 그리고 불안전한 행동으로 인한 사고는 비교적 소수의 직원에 의해 발생한다고 하였다(Clarke & Robertson 2008). 따라서 안전/불안전 행동을 예측할 수 있는 성격 특성을 검증하여, 직원 선발이나 재직자 코칭에 활용한다면 산업 재해 예방에 도움이 될 수 있다

A Study on the Effects of Newly Appointed Coast Guard Officers Personality Factors and Compensation Factors on PSM (신임해양경찰관의 성격 요인과 보상 요인이 PSM에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine whether personality and reward affect PSM of new maritime police officer recruits. Results are as follows. First, among the personality factors, the neuroticism sub-factor had significant positive effect on PSM sub-factors favorable perception towards public policy, commitment to public interest, and empathy. Also, the extroversion sub-factor had significant effect only on the self-sacrifice sub-factor of PSM. Second, the reward factor mostly didn't have significant effect on PSM. The internal reward sub-factor had significant effect on the empathy sub-factor of PSM. These results confirm that personality factors have significant impact on public service motivation. This implicates the need for policy improvements to reflect this result, and further empirical studies on the relationship between reward and public service motivation.

A Study on the Effects of Personality Characteristics of A New Public Official on Academic Burnout (신임공무원의 성격특성이 학업소진에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구)

  • Public officials are volunteers for the people, and the police are in charge of the safety of the people. In particular, the marine safety of Korea, which has three sides of the sea, is very important. The education of maritime police is a very important factor due to the specificity and risk of the sea. In particular, since the new curriculum is linked to the job while in office, factors related to educational performance are more important. In this study, the relationship between personality characteristics and academic burnout was examined for 200 new maritime police officials. Among the five factors of personality characteristics, extroversion factors, neurotic factors, and emotional exhaustion factors were extroversion factors, neurotic factors, and cynicism factors, and extroversion factors, neurotic factors, and integrity factors. In particular, the five factors of personality characteristics that have the greatest influence on academic burnout were neurotic. For the educational satisfaction and effectiveness of the new maritime police officer, it is necessary to minimize the psychological margin and stress of the new maritime police officer.

The Effect of Advertising Models' Characteristics of Hallyu Cosmetics on Brand Personality and Brand Attitude: Focused on Chinese Consumers (한류 화장품 광고모델의 특성이 브랜드 개성과 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향 - 중국 소비자를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of characteristics of advertising model on brand personality and the effect of brand personality on brand attitude; and analyze whether the characteristics of the advertising model have a direct effect on the brand attitude or indirectly through the brand personality. A survey was conducted from August 10, 2017 until August 31, 2017, and 400 respondents' survey results were analyzed. For data analysis, SPSS 23.0 was utilized to perform descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test, and regression analysis. As a result, five brand personality factors were derived, which are aesthetics, safety/expertise, sophistication, pro-environment, youth, respectively. For advertising model characteristics, seven factors were derived, which are credibility, visibility, attractiveness, expertise, similarity, likeability, and familiarity, respectively. This study investigated the relationship between characteristics of cosmetics advertising model, brand personality, and brand attitude. Brand personality does not play a mediating role between advertising model's characteristics and brand attitude. Advertising model's characteristics have a direct effect on the brand attitude. Consequently, Cosmetics companies should recognize the importance of the characteristics of advertising model and implement the marketing strategy by carefully selecting the advertising model so that consumers can relate the characteristics of advertisement model to the brand attitude which will ultimately lead to positive evaluation of the brand.

  • Safety accidents, which are called industrial accidents in construction work, are often caused by unstable physical and personal conditions combined during preparation and execution of work. It is difficult to manage all the construction works, but especially in the field of apartment construction work, complex and many kinds of works are being carried out at the same time. In the current construction, safety regulations such as safety management guidelines are generally well maintained, but the execution of manpower resources that can fulfill them is limited, and it is difficult to reduce the accident rate and loss cost. Therefore, in this study, it is a reality that most of the types of construction work are under contruction by subcontracting contract, so they are limit by methods of manual maintenance and safety education. Currently, the subcontractor is also allowed to perform safety management through the composition of the safety management review body, but it is operated formally. So alternatives to this were studied. As a result, safety accidents occur in the subcontractor's worker due to vertical integration, which is characteristic of the construction industry, together to the contractor, the safety management system is based on a safety construction system in which a worker who has a certain qualification condition such as career experience of the work type, work understanding of the work type, and management experience of the work type among the subcontractor, when we manage based on mutual personality which is the personality of interpersonal relationship that can communicate with each other by work type, process and grouping, it is concluded that effective and practical safety management can be achieved to reduce the accident rate and loss cost.

An Assessment of the Job Stress Factors and the Organizational Personality Types in the Procedure‐based Job Conditions of Nuclear Power Plants (원자력발전소의 절차서 기반 업무에서 직무스트레스의 조직요인과 조직성향 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to assess the organizational types and the job stress factors that affect the procedure-based job performances in nuclear power plants(NPPs). We derived 24 organizational factors affecting to the job stress in NPPs from the job stress analysis models of NIOSH(1989), Cooper(1990), and Karasek(1990). onsidering the safety characteristic in operating tasks of NPPs, we individuate among the tasks in NPPs through the division of duty and the analysis of cost activity. Through the questionnaire survey, a structured interview with the responsible employees, and expert panels, we assess 70 tasks among 777 tasks managed officially under the procedures. They are the representative tasks to the duties of each division and are directly related to the safety. We utilize the OPTI(organizational personality type indicators) to characterize the personality type of each organization in NPPs.

  • As defined by the experts, safety education is the basic method through which people can protect themselves from the dangers in workplace. Therefore, safety education is an important safety measure that can be effectively utilized in disaster prevention without any certain limit. The current practice of safety education in construction sites, however, is all formal and has no substance. Safety education became a mere boring time to workers since the material is not related to them, and does not reflect the individual personalities, which cannot induce voluntary participation of workers. Thus, it is vital to develop various safety education models suitable for individual personalities of construction workers. This study aims to provide the basic data necessary to establish safety education models according to individual personalities of construction workers. Based on the analysis of the preliminary stuff and interviews, the typical individual personalities of construction workers and safety education factors were examined, and the frameworks for each were established. Based on results of applying them to actual cases, directions to improve safety education in construction sites are presented.

  • While technological development being rapid, competition among companies have been very intensive over the world. To hold their competitive power or make sustainable development, it is very imperative for them to attempt innovation. But almost of all innovations were followed by people's resistance to change, and many innovation appeared to be not successful. The objective of this paper is to review the topic of resistance to change in the related literature, and look at the relationship between innovation resistance and many variables like CEO's personality, employee's personality, organizational culture, and defensive behavior.

The Relationship between Job Stress and Psychosocial Stress in Telecommunication Service Workers (통신업 근로자의 직무스트레스와 사회심리적 스트레스의 관련성)

  • This study examined the associations between job stress and psychosocial stress in telecommunication service workers. In this survey, four hundred seventy workers and six variables(general characteristics, state of health, job characteristics, personality, psychosocial characteristics, and job stress) were used to measure worker's subjective satisfaction and status of stress. The results of this study indicated that 135 workers($28\%$) were classified into a high risk group to stress, 317 workers($67\%$) were into a potential risk group, and only 18 workers($6\%$) were into a healthy group. Also the results indicated that job stress outcomes related to job characteristics, personality, and psychosocial characteristics.
